Het was een grote teleurstelling, dus niets.

Laat je niet misleiden door de naam van het strand, het ligt niet aan het mooie schone Tan Jung Rhu beach maar iets ervoor in de bocht. Je kan niet de zee in vanwege troep zoals vulkanisch gesteente en andere bende. Het strand is enorm vies en wordt niet opgeruimd. De buitenlampen liggen voor oud vuil voor je kamer ( wij hadden zeezicht aan het strand) de strandbedden zitten onder het vuil. Het huisje is smerig en onveilig ( zie foto van elektra in de douche) en er zat een tussendeur naar de andere kamer waar “ gezellig” de kinderen van de buren hoorden. Je hoorde eigenlijk letterlijk alles. We zouden 3 nachten blijven maar zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken en we hebben ons verlies genomen. Let wel..het betreft hier de kamer aan het strand en niet de huisjes op het complex. Oja ….en zonder scooter of auto ben je kansloos daar.

Das freundliche Personal hat uns ein höher wertiges Zimmer angeboten, ohne Aufpreis. Die kleine Anlage und nähe zum Meer. Die Hängematten. Unser zweites Zimmer war deutlich schöner, größer

Unser Standardzimmer war überhaupt nicht schön, einladend oder praktisch. Kein Schrank und keine richtige Ablage für die Kleidung, was gar nicht geht für ein Hotel. Die Bäder sind nicht schön oder praktisch. Dusche und WC sind nicht getrennt, so dass nach der Dusche alles immer nass ist und man nasse Füße/Schuhe bekommt, wenn man auf die toilette muss Der Strand könnte wunderschön sein, wenn da nicht der ganze Müll wäre. Das ist so schade.

Das Cottage war nur bedingt sauber. Im Bad war das Waschbecken defekt.

Good budget hotel near to the beach, need to walk a bit about 200m to the right at the bay as the beach right in front a lot of rocks and corals and unsuitable for swimming, a nice Malay restaurant 50m walk near beach serves s cheap fried rice and noodles (Rm8-10), and chicken chop ($13) also, good value

Amazing location just 50m from the beach! Beach is quiet, not great for swimming at all tides but fine for the children to splash around, particularly at lower tides. And good shade too. Nice rooms with outside space. Good restaurant for the evening a two minute walk away (Warung Jalan Lenteng) with good prices (Eagle Eye cafe very expensive).

We had to book two rooms for a family of five but they were very far apart and we were told we couldn't have them closer (although one had an empty room next to it).

Rooms were cheap but basic. The beach when we were there was covered in rubbish which was really sad to see.

Replace the old non working washing machine with a new one.

Die ruhige Lage im Norden und das die Unterkunft sauber war.

Das Personal kommuniziert überhaupt nicht mit einem. Keine Begrüßung nichts nur WhatsApp-Nachrichten. Die Rezeption sollte bis 19 Uhr besetzt sein, aber sie ist ab 17 Uhr geschlossen. Keinerlei Möglichkeit Nachfragen zu stellen. Mir hat eindeutig die Freundlichkeit gefällt. Der Strand ist widerlich! Voller Müll und mega am stinken. Unfassbar, dass niemand diesen aufräumt. Ich würde keinen Fuß freiwillig da reinsetzen! Es könnte ein Paradies sein, aber niemand fühlt sich dafür verantwortlich. Also braucht man einen Roller um zu anderen Stränden zu fahren! In den Bungalows muss man sich bewusst sein, dass man ein Metaldach hat und es mega laut ist bei Regen oder wenn Tiere sich darauf bewegen.

I am 1.91m tall. Bed was too short for me, but we'll, ok. Water pressure could have been stronger. Lots it ants in the room. All small things. Nothing serious. :-)

Es hätte etwas sauberer sein können (vorallem der gemeinsame Küchenbereich, dort war alles dreckig und verstaubt, im Kühlschrank lagen verschimmelte Sachen) und Mückennetze wären bei der Lage auch gut gewesen. Das Personal wirkte etwas träge, es wurde lieber am Handy gespielt als aufzuräumen/zu putzen.

Le cadre de l'hôtel est paradisiaque. J'ai aimé également la gentillesse du personnel car lors de notre arrivée la chambre qui devait avoir une vue sur la mer ne correspondait pas du tout à notre attente. Sachant que nous venions féter nos 30 ans de mariage, le personnel nous a proposé gentiment de nous reloger dans le chalet au centre du complexe. L'endroit était merveilleux. C'était vraiment super même s'il n'avait pas été correctement préparé. Le coucher de soleil sur la plage était fantastique.

Pour nos 30 ans de mariage, j'avais réservé une chambre avec vue sur la mer et l'hôtel nous propose une chambre proche de la plage qui n'avait aucune vue sur la mer et qui possédait que 2 lucarnes et en plus il y avait une forte odeur d'humidité et de renfermée. Impossible d'y rester plus de 5 minutes. La plage ne prête pas à la baignade.

De ligging is perfect, mooi strand en zee waar je on kan zwemmen voor de deur en direct naast de kamer een goed restaurant. De kamer is basic, maar wel.met airco en warme douche.

Naast ons zaten mensen voor de kamer een doerian asn de snijden. Niet fijn als je daar niet van houdt.

Super close to the beach, a beautiful part of the island, with great beaches. The room was very big and ideal for a family of 4. Simple but had the essentials and great value for money. Had a communal kitchen for use, otherwise one resto nearby so a bit isolated compared to other parts of the island but this is exactly what we were looking for.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is peaceful, just a short walk from Tanjung Rhu Beach. The room was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. We especially appreciated their understanding and excellent customer service when we needed assistance. Thank you for your hospitality!

Läget är perfekt om man vill uppleva naturen och avskild strand. Mycket lugnt läge.

Städningen var under all kritik. Sängen var bäddat fint och kylen, toaletten rena. Men resten har inte städats ordentligt på länge.

Wij bleven hier 6 nachten en verlengden dat met 4 nachten omdat we het zo naar ons zin hadden. De kamer heeft een fantastisch uitzicht. We zagen vanaf ons terras, maar ook van dichtbij, reuzeneekhoorns, brillangoeren met jongen, neushoornvogels en andere vogels. Je loopt zo naar het strand, maar een stukje verderop loopt ook een prachtig geasfalteerd pad door de mangrove. Bedden zijn goed, WiFi is goed en er is een buitenkeuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Gefilterd water is gratis. Kleine buurtsupers of loopafstand en op vrijdag is er een gezellige night market vlakbij. Als je van natuur houdt en van dieren spotten, is deze accommodatie absoluut een aanrader.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich 😀. Es gibt eine shared Kitchen und eine Waschmaschine und Wasserrefill ..... Zimmer direkt am Strand und andere Zimmer etwa 50m entfernt vom Strand. Parkplatz inklusive.

Es gibt kein Frühstück (aber frühstücke eh nicht) es gibt ein Warung gleich in der Nähe.

A great place for a holiday with family and friends. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The room was clean, air-conditioned, everything was perfect, and there was a balcony and beautiful, well-kept grounds. The rooms are located on two floors, depending on your choice, there is also a shared kitchen and a shared additional toilet. The rooms were not cleaned additionally after check-in, but the staff was always very friendly and responded positively to requests for replacement towels or provision of a hairdryer. There is a cafe nearby, but it closes early, so it is difficult to find dinner. But if you walk further along the beach, there was a coastal cafe and grocery store. Overall, everything was great.

During our week-long stay, the room wasn't cleaned even once. I'd like to see some basic trash disposal and towel changes.

Spokojnie spędzony czas, ładny ogród do którego przychodzą lub przylatują różne zwierzęta. Dobrze się wyspałem bo w nocy było cicho. Jest pralka do użytku gości i wyposażona kuchnia. Bardzo blisko do plaży gdzie są hamaki i leżaki.

W drzwiach brakuje klamek, trochę to utrudnia zamknięcie.

The View: Simply fantastic! One of the best assets of this property. The Atmosphere: The area is very calm and peaceful, which was a huge plus for us. Dining & Location: A short walk along the beach takes you to the wonderful "Scarborough Fish and Chips". It was incredibly romantic to walk back to the hotel after dinner under the stars, watching the tiny crabs scurry across the sand under our feet. Price: Excellent value for money. The price is very low considering such a prime beachfront location.

Lack of Privacy: The terraces are shared with neighbors (twin-house style), which means the soundproofing is quite poor. You can hear your neighbors very clearly. Since all rooms are close to each other, if you have noisy or smoking neighbors, it will directly affect your stay. Need for Renovation: Many things are quite old and look worn out. For example, the benches outside the apartments are peeling so badly that you can't sit on them without getting paint on your skin or clothes. The plumbing is also very dated. Sunbeds: There are only about 7 sunbeds for 20+ rooms, though it’s worth noting that the hotel isn't always at full capacity, and not every guest wants to spend their whole day on the beach. Comfort: For us, the pillows were very uncomfortable as they were way too large and firm. Final Verdict: Despite the flaws, I believe the low price and the proximity to the sea cover these shortcomings. In the big picture, we enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for luxury, this might not be for you, but for a budget-friendly beachfront experience, it’s a solid choice.

Few steps away from beach, situated in the local village

Amazing corner of paradise on this island. I stayed in other spots but this red coral cottage has it all. The beach front area with hammocks and beds shaded in the trees made it the most ideal area for lounging all day away from the hot sun, or viewing sunrise/sunset. Room was well equipped, bed was so soft, pillows perfect, air con with fan for good circulation, good bathroom, beautiful terrace to sit and hang clothes. Shared outdoor kitchen was also a really sweet touch and had everything needed to prepare & eat food. Good cold water filters available too.

Difficult to think of anything I didn't like. Maybe to have a fan on the upstairs room terrace to be able to sit there in the evenings, however the outdoor kitchen area was super for that too so I dont think this is a major issue.

Wir hatten den Bungalow TC. Es gab keinen Roomservice, desinteressiert wirkendes Personal und Schimmel in der Klimaanlage sowie der Bettwäsche. Die Liste lässt sich leider so weiterführen.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Chambre vue sur mer. Bon accueil. Chambre au confort basique (salle de bains assez petite) mais très propre, très bonne literie, très calme . Air conditionné, eau chaude, terrasse et accès direct sur la plage. Eau filtrée à disposition ainsi que café et thé. Nous recommandons pour un séjour dans le nord. Attention pas de location de scooter sur place, il faut se déplacer à environ 1,5 km pour le magasin. Il est nécessaire d’avoir un véhicule . Nous recommando

Die Lage am Strand ist OK, wobei die Wasserqualität nicht an thailändischen Verhältnisse heranreicht! Blick auf ein Zementwerk und Quallen.

Das uns zugeteilte Zimmer war ein fensterlosen Schlauch mit winzigem "Bad" und stinkendem Kühlschrank. Wir mussten einige Zeit auf die Rezeptionistin warten, haben urgiert und bekamen dann einen akzeptablen Raum im ersten Stock. Die Möglichkeiten in Gehweite gutes Essen zu bekommen sind sehr begrenzt.

Quiet and peaceful, next to the beach and a lovely restaurant. There is an outdoors basic kitchen and U can use the washing machine. The staff is reserved but very kind.
