Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Casa com arquitetura tradicional portuguesa, com detalhes bonitos e únicos, super bem conservada. A vista é deslumbrante, lindíssima. Gostoso gramado e piscina para desfrutar em dias ensolarados As funcionárias muito solicitas e atenciosas, ofereceram aperitivos no fim de tarde.
O quarto econômico tem ótimo custo x beneficio mas pouca privacidade pela porta ficar próxima à entrada principal.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Stunning views and amazing infinity pool. Room was cozy and comfortable with a great terrace overlooking the river. Spectacular. The breakfast was made with love by very attentive and graceful staff.
The only downside was you can often hear guests in neighbouring room. Not terrible but something to consider. It did not bother us as everyone was very respectful of space and quiet hours.

Der Poolbereich und die spektakuläre Aussicht sind ein absoluter Traum. Man kann hier entspannt den ganzen Tag verbringen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist das Frühstück. Bei diesem Panoramablick schmeckt der Kaffee gleich doppelt so gut.

Falta de estacionamento, WiFi lento, sem frigobar no quarto, falta de um bar na piscina. Embora não relacionado com o alojamento, não existe oferta de qualidade na área da restauração na envolvente mais próxima do alojamento mesmo no Peso da Régua foi difícil encontrar, o que é uma pena visto a gastronomia ser magnífica no norte do país. Não consegui perceber se o alojamento tem preocupações com o meio ambiente, pelo menos não é perceptível.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa de Canhilhas hätte besser nicht sein können. Schönes Zimmer mit einem Balkon mit wunderbarem Blick auf den Duoro. Herrliches Frühstück auf der Terrasse. Großes Pool, Liegewiese mit Liegestühlen, bei allem die großartige Fernsicht. Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Zum kleinen hübschen Ort geht man ca 15 Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!!

A casa tem charme, requinte e uma decoração à moda antiga, super charmosa e elegante, com pormenores que fazem a diferença. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos, o pequeno almoço é escolhido por nós, tanto na oferta como a hora que o queremos tomar. Temos bastante privacidade, a casa é muito sossegada e a piscina tem uma vista linda. Sem dúvida que vamos repetir!

Massage available at the property and I highly recommend. Pool and garden with loungers and a glorious view of the Douro River. Stay here. I did not want to leave.

Благодаря небольшому количеству гостей здесь тихо и спокойно, отличное место чтобы отдохнуть и насладиться природой. Наш номер располагался в отдельном корпусе с хорошей шумоизоляцией и прекрасным видом на сад, виноградники, горы и реку. Просторная ванная комната с душем. Завтрак приносили прямо в номер.
Единственный существенный минус, слишком жёсткий матрас и неудобные подушки. После сна затекают шея и плечи, поэтому выспаться было сложно. На завтраке хотелось бы видеть больше свежих овощей.

The room we had felt a a bit run-down. The doors and shower tap didn’t shut well. A plug didn’t work, although they came to fix that immediately. But then afterwards it stopped working again. One of the chairs near the pool was broken. Also the room we had, shared a balcony with two other rooms so it lacked privacy and we smelled another guest smoking. Lastly the location is quite remote. There is one good restaurant at walking distance (steep uphill 20 min walk). Other restaurants can only be reached by car.

This guesthouse is located in what must be the most beautiful spot in the Douro Valley, with the most breathtaking views we saw anywhere in the region. Maria, our host, welcomed us with genuine warmth and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The personal attention was exceptional—every request we had was met promptly and graciously, often going above and beyond what we expected. The infinity pool, perfectly integrated into the stunning landscape, made the experience even more memorable. Relaxing there while overlooking the valley was simply unforgettable.Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delicious. As a special gesture, Maria even offered to prepare a fresh vegetable salad for us in the morning, despite it not being on the menu. We feel fortunate to have stayed here and are genuinely envious of everyone who will have the opportunity to visit this remarkable place. Without a doubt, it was one of the highlights of our trip to the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

Reviewed May 20, 2026A vista é simplesmente incrível — as fotos nem conseguem fazer justiça ao que realmente se vê ao vivo. É daqueles lugares que surpreende qualquer pessoa. A cama é super confortável, o pequeno-almoço é generoso e delicioso, e as três meninas são genuinamente simpáticas, atenciosas e muito gentis. Os quartos são limpos, espaçosos e muito acolhedores. Recomendo sem hesitar e voltarei certamente.

Da es nachts noch kühl war, wäre Frühstück im Haupthaus ggfs angenehm = wir saßen draußen mit Blick auf den Fluss, aber es war recht kühl. Im Zimmer dito.

Reviewed May 18, 2026A pousada é maravilhosa! Local com uma vista incrível, quarto muito confortável e um bom café da manhã.
O fato de só aceitarem dinheiro em espécie. Já tinha feito o pagamento pelo Booking, via cartão, mas na pousada, caso queira comprar um vínho ou ter outro tipo de gasto, é preciso pagar em dinheiro.

Reviewed May 11, 2026É a segunda vez que ficamos nesta casa. Da primeira vez ficámos no quarto mais pequeno da casa e já adorámos. Desta vez ficámos num quarto que fica num pequeno anexo à casa, como se fosse uma mini casinha com terraço. O pequeno-almoço é deixado dentro de um cesto de piquenique no terraço e é tão maravilhoso tomar o pequeno-almoço assim com vista sobre o Douro. O pessoal é super simpático, a casa linda, a paisagem de cortar a respiração, o pequeno-almoço delicioso. É o único alojamento a que dou sempre 10 e que prometo voltar. Não posso recomendar mais!!

Reviewed May 5, 2026Localização excelente, com uma vista deslumbrante, numa zona super calma e tranquila em que os passarinhos cantam por todo o lado. Adoramos todo o pessoal, desde os donos aos funcionários que nos acolheram e deram informações valiosas. A Dona Ana, empregada, sempre com um sorriso na cara, a levar o nosso pequeno almoço ao quarto numa cestinha de piquenique. Quarto com áreas bastante boas e super limpo. Zona envolvente sem palavras... ADORAMOS, RECOMENDAMOS E É PARA VOLTAR SEM DÚVIDA.

O hotel não possui estacionamento, sendo necessário estacionar ao longo da estrada, o que dificulta principalmente se estiver com mau tempo

The view is stunning, but also the hotel and rooms are so warm and charming. The room was incredibly clean and well maintained, the staff was lovely and the breakfast delicious.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026O lugar é simplesmente lindíssimo, muito bem decorado e com uma atmosfera aconchegante que lembra casa de vó. Dá vontade de nunca ir embora. Destaco também a simpatia dos empregados, sempre muito solícitos e atenciosos em tudo o que precisei. O café da manhã era delicioso e muito bem servido, e a equipe fez de tudo para acomodar bem a mim e à minha família. Com certeza quero voltar outras vezes.
Nao tenho nada a reclamar.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Долина Дору прекрасное место с очень красивыми видами. Выбирая место ты выбираешь вид из окна прежде всего. Красивая комфортная вилла, удобствами. В хорошем месте, легко найти. Вкусные завтраки. Бассейн есть. Но он холодный. Но выглядит красиво.
Выбирая место для время препровождения в долине, выбираешь прежде всего вид. В данном месте сдаётся несколько комнат и они разные по цене и с разными удобствами и видом. Я выбрала комнату дороже и выше и с угловым на 2 стороны видом. Заселение было до 20.00. Приехали в 19.30 и нам предоставили другую комнату которая не соответствовала тому что я покупала. Комната распологалась намного ниже и огорожена с одной стороны. Мне начали рассказывать про другие удобства и , что отель полный и все комнаты уже заселены. Я была очень зла, что мою комнату отдали другим людям. Это не корректно со стороны владельца. Не надо врать клиентам. Так же в моей комнате убирались, без разрешения.

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Es maravilloso! Vistas magníficas al Río Douro! Despertar y ver estos paisajes tan hermosos! Volveré! El desayuno es una maravilla. Personal de recepción muy atento. Nos han recomendado un restaurante X Douro y fue increíble! A 5 minutos del hotel. Es una casa antigua y con unas vistas increíbles y localización perfecta para ver estos paisajes y disfrutar del Douro. Volveré sin duda
Lo único es que no tiene parking pero no es un problema porque puedes aparcar afuera justo al lado de la carretera

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026Ein wunderbarer Ort, klein, privat geführt, wirklich ein Diamant. Die Lage mit Blick über den Douro an einer der schönsten Stellen. Von früh morgens bis zum Abend liegt der Garten mit Pool in der Sonne. Das Frühstück bekommt man in einem großen Korb aufs Zimmer geliefert und kann es dann ungestört auf der Terrasse genießen. Einfach toll!
Wir hatten nichts zu beklagen. Für gehbehinderte Menschen wegen steiler Wege und Treppen vielleicht kein idealer Ort.

Embora tenhamos ficado no quarto mais pequeno, sem vista, é cómodo, limpo e tinha todas as utilities! Dois dos pontos altos da estadia foram a simpatia da Tatiana e o pequeno-almoço super caseiro e saboroso!

Abbiamo acquistato una camera economica: era molto piccola, così come il bagno che mancava anche di finestra. La prossima volta sceglierò una camera più spaziosa.
