Notre hôte Philip est vraiment un mec super, la vue des terrasses et de la piscine est à couper le souffle et les petits déjeuner sont fabuleux.

Les "grincements" du lit chambre 6 mais c'est un détail 😊.

The view from the property is magnificent, the decor inside and out is stylish, the hosts are super friendly and the breakfast was very good. The overall value was excellent.

Very minor criticism is that some maintenance is needed to the decking area and also to the hot tub (jets weren’t working) - but this does not detract from a wonderful stay.

Gebäude ist in die Jahre gekommen und muss dringend renoviert werden.

El ambiente general de todo el alojamiento, muy cuidado, Filipe es un gran anfitrión que parece que te invitara a compartir su casa, tal es su amabilidad y trato familiar. Sólo 15 habitaciones, todas con terraza. El jacuzzi y la piscina, completan los servicios para que no sientas ni la necesidad de salir de allí. Las vistas al río maravillosas. Cuando vuelva por esa zona, lo volveré a elegir sin dudarlo.

De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en gaf ons bij check-in al een rondleiding over het domein. De omgeving is prachtig: niet te toeristisch, rustig en in een prachtige natuur.

Everything, plus the owners were really nice and responsive.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent—warm, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. And the views are simply amazing! Peaceful, beautiful, and even better than the photos. A truly special place to stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend it!

Nothing it’s just beautiful

The guest house is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking the river and the breathtaking Douro Valley. The rooms are spotless, and very comfortable, with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Philip, the owner, welcomed us warmly and graciously, and his kindness and hospitality were evident throughout our entire stay. The breakfasts were great, and philip went out of his way to accommodate our needs and make sure we had everything we wanted. The swimming pool is a lovely place to relax while enjoying the magnificent view over the valley. Our stay was a true pleasure. We highly recommend this wonderful place and would gladly return if we have the opportunity to visit the Douro Valley again.

Não se ouve qualquer barulho neste alojamento! Não se ouvem os carros a passar, não se ouvem as pessoas que estão hospedadas. Há silêncio e uma vista perfeita! Ideal para sair da rotina e relaxar. O jacuzzi, a piscina, o baloiço, bem como todo o espaço são incríveis! Está tudo extremamente bem cuidado!

Philippe est très sympathique et attentionné. Le jardin est magnifique et la vue est superbe. Le petit déjeuner est varié, délicieux et préparé avec beaucoup de soin. Une très belle expérience, nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

La douche est un peu petite, sinon tout est propre.

Foi tudo incrível, localização ótima. Tivemos uma receção muito boa com prova de vinho do Porto. Está tudo muito pormenorizado com uma vista incrível.

Maravilhosa! Alem da vista que é sensacional o Felipe nos recebeu muito bem, o café da manhã é muito delicioso. O bolo de laranja então, nem se fala. Os quartos são ótimos, todos com vista para o Rio Douro, um verdadeiro espetáculo.

Excelente localização com vista privilegiada para o Rio Douro. A Inês fez-nos sentir em casa com toda a atenção possível para que nada faltasse.

We didn't have a car so as the roads are very narrow and busy it was hard for us to get around. Without Felipe 's kindness to us we would have struggled.

Muito obrigado pela excelente hospitalidade, pela simpatia e pelas dicas dadas durante a nossa estadia. Foram três dias muito bons, e um bom começo das nossas férias! A casa é linda, estava tudo impecável, e a vista é de tirar o fôlego, tem o melhor nascer do sol que já vimos. Ah, e o vinho fresquinho era muito bom :-) Sem dúvida que recomendamos e esperamos voltar no futuro.

Bom espaço, simpatia dos funcionários, vista incrível, cama confortável, bom pequeno almoço. Ambiente acolhedor e familiar. Gato.

Jacuzzi Não estava totalmente funcional. Piscina poderia ser mais quente. As varandas poderiam ter mais privacidade/divisórias entre quartos.

Si je pouvais donner 15/10 je le ferais! TOUT ÉTAIT PARFAIT!! La propriétaire est une vraie perle, à l’écoute et aux petits soins des clients, en plus elle parle français! Petits déjeuners excellents le matin, spa et piscine parfait pour relaxer! Et que dire de la vue sur le Douro!! Wow! Wow! Et encore wow!! J’y retournerai sans hésitation!

Magnifique ! la chambre est très grande, la vue est tout simplement incroyable, la piscine est magnifique, avec la vue sur le Douro, beaucoup d'espaces de détente a disposition, un petit déjeuner copieux, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Filipe, nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nous y reviendrons. Absolutely beautiful setting! Room facing out to the valley and the swimming pool area too. Lovely breakfast as well - great spread. Very friendly and accommodating staff when our flight got delayed. Would definitely return again

Quel lieu formidable! La vue, la piscine, le lever du soleil... Et que dire de l'accueil de Filipe, d'une générosité et d'une gentillesse hors du commun, toujours présent pour répondre ou aider les hôtes. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Il faut vraiment avoir un voiture ou prendre un taxi pour se déplacer. La route sur laquelle est située l'hôtel n'est pas praticable à pieds

Un coin de paradis sur la vallée du Douro. Je cherchais du calme et de la Si vous cherchez de la tranquillité n'hésitez plus à réserver. La vue est à couper le souffle, la piscine à débordement est superbe, le petit déjeuner est incroyable, sans oublier notre hôte à l'écoute, qui prends le temps de discuter et a toujours le sourire. Une adresse à mettre dans ses favoris.

מקום יפה ביותר, בעל הבית קיבל אותנו מדהים, למרות שהגענו ממש בסוף זמן הצ'ק-אין. הסביר לנו באריכית את כל מה שמוצע בצימר/מלון. בריכת אינפיניטי מקסימה משקיפה על נוף עוצר נשימה. ולמעלה ג'אקוזי חם שנהנו מימנו גם בלילה. , מגבות גדולות לבריכה ארוחת בוקר מגוונת עשירה ומצויינת ואפילו סלט לישראלים שמגיעים. חניה כלולה ובשפע.

המיטה לא הייתה נוחה, וכאשר מישהו זז, אז כל המיטה מושפעת.

Everything was amazing: the views, the rooms, the facility, the swimming pool, the breakfast! Filip’s advice, where to go, what to do, local wine tasting family run quintas was excellent. It is the highlight of our trip. It is also close to the major Quintas - 30 min away- Just amazing place and amazing host.

Philippe was an amazing host. Loved the Port on arrival, a nice touch. View from the pool was possibly the best we've ever had. We could have stayed a lot longer.

מלון(Guest House) במיקום מקסים עם נוף לנהר הדורו. שליו ורגוע. החדרים נקיים נעימים ומסודרים. היתה ארוחת בקר בחדר אוכל שניתן היה גם להכין בו ארוחות עצמאיות. היתה בריכה וגקוזי והכל מאוד מטופח ונקי. ובעלת הבית היתה מארחת למופת. מקסימה ודאגה שהכל יהי לנו נוח ורגוע.

The property offered some of the most amazing views in Douro. Wow! To wake up and sit on the balcony was a wonderful part of our stay. So close to many wineries. We also had one of the best meals of our trip at The River. The pool and jacuzzi offered additional ways to take in the views and feel the relaxation. Felipe was so helpful and the family was very hospitable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place and people!

Amazing views and very homely experience, the owner/host made sure we had a good time. The pool was great, overhanging the slops. Breakfast was also very good, the highlight was the house made port and cake!

Toilet was a little small, but not too much of an issue.

A vista é fantástica de uma paz e beleza incontestável. A piscina tem uma ótima localização! O pequeno almoço era muito bom! A senhora que nos recebeu super simples e prestável colocou nos super á vontade como se estivéssemos em casa!

O jacuzzi não estava a funcionar corretamente, e isso é um dos pontos altos da estadia derivado á vista e a poder relaxar ainda mais.

Die Lage war Top..bildschöne Aussicht. Einer der freundlichsten Gastgeber die wie erlebt haben. Kleines gemütliches Hotel, perfekte Größe zum Entspannen und Ruhe genießen.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Excelente acomodação. Já é a segunda vez que ficamos no Imaginário D’El Rei. A vista é fantástica e o atendimento da anfitriã Inês é impecável. Nos sentimos mesmo em casa.

Mon mari a eu un peu de mal avec la literie, mais il est exigeant 🙂

Eine wunderschöne, sehr familiäre Unterkunft mit einer unglaublich herzlichen Gastgeberin, die stets freundlich, aufmerksam und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht ist. Besonders gefallen haben uns die vielen kleinen versteckten Plätze zum Entspannen, der tolle Panoramapool und der Whirlpool. Die Aussicht war einfach ein Träumchen und hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! 😊

View was incredible and the grounds were huge! Plenty of places for guests to relax and enjoy the view.
