The ceiling which are different for each room are like museum pieces… worth the price of admission by itself… very stylish decor n very functional… Luigi was a wonderful host.. help us into our room before noon n our tonnes of luggage… all refreshments are complimentary… instant response to requests… suites with passion

Une magnifique découverte à Catane ! Nous avons passé une nuit à l’Etnea Suite 270 et nous avons été absolument ravis de notre séjour. La chambre est superbe, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, moderne, élégant et parfaitement entretenu. Tout est pensé dans les moindres détails pour que l’on s’y sente immédiatement bien. La literie est très confortable et la propreté irréprochable. L’emplacement est également idéal pour découvrir Catane : proche des principaux points d’intérêt, tout en permettant de profiter pleinement de la ville à pied. Le jacuzzi nous a permit de bien nous détendre ! Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés et où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain passage en Sicile ! ❤️🇮🇹

Great location to discover Catania, the room is huge and very comfortable. The mini-fridge is fully stocked and new bottles of water were added each day. Luigi was super helpful and always available for us.

The location was great! On the main st to the center of the city. The rooms were spacious, clean and luxurious. The a/c was cold, the shower was hot, and the staff was very accommodating. If we visit again, we will definitely book with this property!

Centrale, moderno, pulito, ottimo servizio Non mancava nulla per un soggiorno di classe. Anche se direttamente sulla via centrale era ben insonorizzato. Ottimo il letto e spazioso il bagno e ben organizzato.

The appartement was located on the main street, so all the restaurants, shops, sightseeing etc were just about stepping out of the door. The appartement itself was new, had a nice design (the ceiling was so beautiful), terasses, fridge full of drinks, jacuzzi, eveeyday cleaning, comfy beds. Just perfect! The host Luigi was also very nice and helped with useful recommendation.

Every night, someone started to recycle bottles in the backyard :)) Closing the window helped.

La suite est idéalement situé dans le centre de Catane. La navette pour l'aéroport est à proximité, beaucoup de déplacements peuvent se réaliser à pied. Dans la suite même, les photos correspondent exactement à la réalité. Le jacuzzi a été fortement apprécié tout comme le calme de la suite. Pour finir, Luigi a été un hôte très accueillant et accommodant malgré notre énorme retard lors de notre arrivée.

Il ne manque qu'une cuisine/kitchennette pour parfaire cette suite mais sinon, tout était parfait.

The property was very clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and centrally located to many of the key attractions in Catania. Raffaello provided our transportation from/to the airport, and was a gentleman and a scholar. He was very sweet, helpful and kind! Luigi, the owner, was a wealth of knowledge and was very responsive. Highly recommend this hotel suite!! 10/10!

This room was a pleasant surprise - large, modern, comfortable and close to the best area in Catania for restaurants, bars, etc. Luigi was a great host. You wont be disappointed!

Everything was great, but we had about 30 minutes trying to figure out where the flat was, and how to get to our room. There are 2 ETNEA Suites a half-block from each other, and our check-in instructions were not so clear.

Clean, modern, nice location, great service, nice hot tube, full fridge of drinks and snacks. If you are visiting Catania this is the place to book!

The only thing I would suggest is to clean the small hot tub nozzles. I think some small parts of dirt remain over time and then come to water when the nozzles are active. It did not bother us-but just for suggestion.

Apartment is very comfortably located - right in the city centre - and very nicely decorated. It was easy to find the apartment. The host, Luigi, is very nice and hospitable, he helped us with check in, parking and places to go.

Beautiful accommodation. A very modern, spacious room, decorated tastefully. An extremely comfortable bed and lavish bathroom, positioned within walking distance of shops, restaurants and everything Catania has to offer. Luigi looked after us and was always responsive on WhatsApp.

Beautiful and huge room, close to the centre (on the main street) but very clam due to the courtyard where it is located on. The bed, bath and shower are super comfortable. Plenty of snacks and drinks included too. Owner is friendly, helpful and fast to respond. Will certainly return once i revisit Catania

Positives: 1. Luigi was absolutely amazing. I missed my direct flight from Dubai and therefore arrived at 1am in the morning. No problem for Luigi who spoke to my taxi driver enroute and gave him directions, then helped me up the stairs with my bags and showed me how everything in the apartment worked. On departure, our taxi failed to arrive, so Luigi drove us to the airport himself and refused to take any money. The owner is so lucky to have Luigi working for him/her as he is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He also speaks very good English. 2. The location is excellent. You don't need a car. Everything is on the doorstep or a short walk away. 3. Catania is a rather overlooked, untouristy, town which we really liked as, unlike (ghastly) Taormina it feels very authentic.

Negatives: 1. The property is very hard to find. It's inside a large private courtyard and the signage is tiny. Also, the 4 apartments are split between two different buildings. A mud map and some photos sent to future guests BEFORE they arrive would be super helpful. 2. My apartment (the Gold Suite) has a beautiful ceiling and a Juliette balcony which are both charming. However, the location directly on Etnea (Catania's main street) makes this room noisy and even with the French doors shut, I needed my ear plugs to sleep. The Bronze and Rock Suites are in a quieter area overlooking the internal courtyard so I'd suggest them for light sleepers. 3. The spa bath is enormous. I didn't use it because I felt guilty about using so much water in a dry climate!! I think the space it takes up would be more useful if it were a living room with a comfy sofa.

Den Balkon würde ich nicht als solchen bezeichnen, eher ein Austritt in der Hof. Letztendlich lief die komplette Kommunikation über das Handy bzw. WhatsApp… ein- und auschecken, alles. Mir persönlich fehlt die Möglichkeit der persönlichen Ansprache… Ich hatte für unsere Abfahrt zum airport um die Vermittlung eines Taxis gebeten, alles kein Problem. Nur leider kam kein Fahrer, war anscheinend auch nicht bestellt 🧐… wir haben uns dann selbst gekümmert!

Tres bien placé. À savoir le bus aussi est devant pour l’aéroport. Le reste de la ville est à 5’ à pieds. Les prestations de la suite sont d’un très bon niveau et Luigi est très arrangeant.

First time ever giving a perfect 10 on all fronts. ETNA 270 surpassed all of my expectations and was the perfect finish to a two week tour of Italy. The free amenities (drinks, prosecco, snacks, personal items) were generous and pleasantly displayed. The accommodations were updated, modern, and fashionable. The beds were the most comfortable of our entire trip and the quiet location nestled in near the arts district was a perfect way to rest up before our return home. We had a lovely dinner at SALT just a short walk through a buzzing area. Check-in and check-out was friendly and professional. (We were on the first floor so only had to walk up one flight of stairs.)

The location was excellent – right in the center of Catania, within walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room itself was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated, making it a very comfortable place to relax. While there wasn’t a special view, the interior more than made up for it. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the large smart TV and the coffee machine. Luigi, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were also some nice extra touches, like free drinks in the room and a fantastic shower.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

We were visiting Catania for listening the Norma at Teatro Massimo Bellini. It was a very short, but comfortable stay!

Bed was too soft.

The refurbishment of this old apartment was to the highest of standards. The location is about as central in the city as one could get, being situated on the main street, and only a few minutes walk from the top city attractions. Our apartment had twin walk-in showers (with jets as well), and even a TV on the other side of the perspex screen. A comfortable large bed and a top quality Nespresso coffee maker (there was a kettle for our English breakfast tea as well) added to the comfort of the apartment. Our host, Luigi, met us at the property, following good advance communication, and happily hauled our heavy suitcases (we were on a three week sightseeing holiday of Italy) up the two flights of stairs. Luigi gave us numerous nearby dining options and checked in with us by Whatsapp, even calling by to ensure everything was okay. His fluent English and smashing demeanour added to our enjoyment.

Clean, stylish and quiet, just a short walk from everything. Luigi was very helpful and even carried our suitcases upstairs.

We originally booked for 1 night but added a second night later so stayed in 2 different suites, both suites were stunning. Clean, stylish and beautifully designed with luxurious fixtures and fittings, the original paintings still adorn the tall ceilings, extra special touches for example welcome boxes of toiletries tied with a bow, drinks and snacks, large comfy beds, air conditioning and sound proof doors to the balcony, one of which overlooked the street. The bathrooms are particularly impressive. The exterior of the building retains its original charm in keeping with the rest of the street, it is in a great location near to the park and with lots of bustling shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. It is a pleasant walk to the other end of the street to the historic area and the cathedral. Luigi was a fantastic host ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We have already recommended Etana Suites to friends and family and would definitely stay here again.
