Victorian Square Guesthouse

It is a pleasure to stay at Victorian Square Guesthouse. Lorraine is a wonderful host.

Nothing.

The receptionist lady (Loraine) was excellent. She went of her way to receive me and make me feel welcome. Rooms was super and very clean. It had everything I needed. The outside room for fire and having drinks is exceptional and special

The décor and facilities for my four-legged children were absolutely perfect.

The Victorian Square Guesthouse is truly a beautiful hidden gem. I loved the exceptionally clean and spacious room, as well as the convenient kitchenette. The host was outstanding, with prompt and excellent communication throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend it.

Nothing in particular. As a small suggestion, it would be a lovely addition to have electric blankets available during winter, especially for guests who are more sensitive to the cold. It would make an already wonderful stay even more comfortable.

The host was very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful property, ideally located in a quiet, yet central area. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Lovely big room and kitchenette. Has more than you need and all DSTV channels. I have my dogs with me, so pet friendly

It is very central and parking is safe.

The duvet smelled musty.

Absolutely love staying here. the best manager and the rooms are 5 star

The rooms are exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bed is comfortable. The location couldn't be better. The milk bottle with a decent amount of milk is such a huge step up from the tiny triangular commercial cartons often found in the industry.

Nothing not to like.

Large, well appointed clean rooms.

The location was great in the suburbian area of Graff-Reinet in a quiet neighborhood, car parked behind gates and super easy to access property even late at night

We made use of the outside kitchen and braai area. Everything was supplied and comfortable. The guesthouse is well maintained, neat, clean and peaceful.

We always have a great stay at Victorian Square Guesthouse, the rooms are clean and very comfy. The staff are exceptional. Will be back

Our room and our twin room were connected by one entrance/door, so it was perfect for our kids

Excellent guesthouse with beautiful & spacious rooms. Clean, comfortable with braai facility, aircon in room and safe private parking. Friendly and helpful host!

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay, as stopover on a long drive, whether you are travelling as couple or with pets and children. The entire place is spotless with gorgeous rooms set around the spotless stoep. The rooms have absolutely everything you need for self catering with fridges that make everything ice cold quickly in the heat and distilled Karoo water. The beds are extremely comfortable with, soft white linen. We travelled with our 2 dogs and our energetic 11 year old who loved playing on the gorgeous green grass after the long drive. There is a communal outdoor braai area with a table and chairs, couches, ample firewood and a TV. The property management are extremely welcoming and check in and check out are seamless. Fresh milk is provided in the fridge along with tea and coffee. I highly recommend Victorian Square Guest House, for an overnight stay or longer if you want to explore the beautiful welcoming town of Graaff Reinet.

We have been staying there for years, with my family and as a motorbike group of friends. It is absolutely great!!

Na

Very comfortable beds and lovely shower. Host was very informative.

Secured parking, airconditioning in room

Cleanliness could have been better, furniture was functional but lacked Karoo-style or accessories.

Lorraine , était juste extra merci pour tout. Mon séjour était fabuleux. La propreté, les services, l'emplacement, les recommandations, la sécurité, la gentillesse, breffff.... tout

Was quiet, clean and comfortable

Power outage from 20h00 to 24h00 and back up power did not run aircon. The area is extremely hot.

Location

Primative. Rotten smell in fridge. Rock hard towels.

Uniqueness, very helpful owner, best comfy bed we have had. Well appointed

Nothing

I liked the exterior, typical Karoo-style manor house with clean lines, a beautifully manicured lawn and mountain views, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The room was modern, with a well stocked kitchenette. The shower had good water pressure. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I'll certainly stay here again.

Thank you! It was a lovely stay in the heart of the Karoo.

Excellent service, safe and beautiful rooms

Comfortable bed, clean, safe. File with restaurant menus that I appreciated.

Bathroom door has glass - pretty, but not private. One hears the others guests early morning.

I loved my stay. Lorraine was attentive and welcoming. Everything was clean and very comfortable.

Everything was lovely.

Clean, spacious, and safe. Fully equipped. Excellent location. Peaceful and quiet but easy to get back to main streets and close to decent restaurants.

Het was een heel fijne kamer. De gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk. Het was er schoon en veilig.

Niets

I travelled with my two Yorkies. The garden is huge en enclosed. Loraine was super friendly and the linen and beds simply awesome. Will definitely be back!

Spotlessly clean. Good location and safe off road parking.

Tap mixer on basin needs attention - impossible to get cold water - hot to the left and hot to the right.

A great place to stay in Graaf Reinet with an outstanding hospitality from Loraine. The room is very comfortable, in a quiet area but still not far from the city center. And very good wifi! Perfect.
