Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I stayed here for one night in September 2026 and had a really good experience. The location is excellent - right next to Gyeonggijeon Shrine and on the outside edge of the hanok village, so you get to be right in that area without it being too noisy. The room met my expectations for what a hanok stay is - small room but very clean and with good AC and ondol (floor heating). No noise issues at night and I slept really well. Most importantly, the owner was super friendly and even let me practice my Korean during check-in. Plus she sent me a message to let me know she'd found my AirPods that I'd accidentally left in my room after check-out so I could come back and get them. I would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026El hotel es muy bonito y esta muy bien ubicado. Estaba todo muy limpio y cuidado. Desayuno correcto, aunque para mi gusto le faltaba fruta. Atención correcta por parte del personal.
Sinceramente la habitación que nos tocó era realmente pequeña y estaba al lado de la cocina, dónde se escuchaba todo. Volvería a este hotel pero no repetiría la habitación.

La struttura ci ha deluso molto, anche perché le foto su Booking non corrispondono alla realtà e i commenti sembrano esagerati! La ns camera aveva i muri che necessitano urgentemente di una ridipintura/sistemazione. Bagno microscopico. La colazione è self-service e con poche cose ed inoltre alla fine bisogna lavare le stoviglie/posate utilizzate.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Me encantó la experiencia. Kim es encantadora, la casa está súper limpia, pensé que iba a ser incómodo dormir en el suelo y la verdad es que para nada. El baño está muy bien y tienes gel, champú, suavizante, chanclas para entrar a ducharte y hasta pasta de dientes!!!. El desayuno está fenomenal, te lo sirves tú, puedes llevártelo a la habitación o tomarlo en la parte de fuera. Jeonju es muy pequeño y para mí con una noche es más que suficiente. Gracias por todo Kim!!!.

La colazione self service con varia scelta. La proprietaria super disponibile, ha sempre risposto subito tramite messaggi o chiamate, è riuscita a soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste.

It's right next to the temple and within walking distance to the Hanok village, business and restaurants. Breakfast is self-served and quite basic. The shared kitchen is well equipped.
The room is quite small for a family of 4, especially after setting up the 2 futon beds. The bathroom is also small. Showering shares the water feed with the sink, so it must be switched back after use. Otherwise, the next person might accidently get wet!

The hanok itself is simply beautiful — a stunning example of traditional Korean architecture, kept in immaculate condition. Every detail has been thoughtfully maintained, making it feel both authentic and wonderfully comfortable. Waking up in a place like this is a truly special experience. But what elevates Pungnam House above everything else is the hostess. She is one of the warmest, most attentive people we have ever encountered in our travels. Her genuine care for her guests goes far beyond what you'd expect — she has a rare talent for making you feel not just welcomed, but truly looked after. If you're visiting Jeonju, there is no better place to stay.

The futon bed itself was good, comfy and a cool experience to have, but keep in mind that if you're not used to it, sleeping on a side hurts for long periods. But it was made as comfortable as possible.

シャワーとトイレが同じところにありシャワーをすると、トイレが濡れてしまいます。韓屋なので、これはしょうがないとは思います。しかしそういうバスルームが苦手な方は知っておいた方がいいかもしれません。
