Reviewed Jul 17, 2026The manager Mr. Dileep is wonderful and very happy to assist. Great guy all around. The room had a nice big bed and a private bathroom. It's a bit of a walk to the town center but if you don't fancy moving with your feet then a very short Rickshaw ride can take you there. There are restaurants and grocers nearby however.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Location, room , cleanliness ,very good , apart from the room we selected (twin aircon,) being up a narrow flight of outdoor stairs . Watching the guys heave my awkward suitcase onto their shoulders wasn't pleasant . Beeakfast favulous, thank you to the Mum who prepared it Taxi services a bit pricey, maybe compare with Pick Me App.
The young gun can be a bit pushy for aussie comfort . Push back and you'll be fine.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025Дилип прекрасно нас встретил, заботился о нас и был внимателен. Номер с вентилятором, чистая постель. За 1500 рупий для Вас приготовят восхитительный вкусный и сытный завтрак. Так же Дилип предложил нас отвезти на Пидурунгаллу на автомобиле за разумную цену. Мы замечательно провели три ночи в Дамбуле. Для курящих в отеле есть место на терассе.

Reviewed May 20, 2025I've been traveling to many places, including Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka, and it's always tough to find a good, affordable, and clean hotel. This place is perfect. It's very central, allowing you to walk to the various temples and museums in the area, and find some restaurants. It's spotless and looks brand new. The manager and his family also provide excellent service. In the mornings, you can enjoy a delicious and huge breakfast and be transported to any destination of your interest, in my case, elephant trekking and some treks.

Будьте внимательны. У нас был забронирован номер с кондиционером, но при заселение пытались взять доп. оплату за кондиционер.

エアコン付きの部屋をとったのに、エアコンは別料金だとエアコン代追加で5ドルとられた。予約詳細にもエアコン付きとなっていることを確認して予約しているのに追加料金を取るのはいかがかと思う。予約詳細を確認してくれと伝えても『うちはエアコンは別料金だ』と詳細確認しない。booking .comの使い方が間違っている。

Reviewed Mar 11, 2025The guesthouse is very close to Dambulla Cave Temples which was the reason I chose it. It has decent rooms and very friendly hosts. Run by a sweet family who are always willing to help out. I always got response within a min if I needed anything. I found their rates for tuk tuk to Polannaruwah and Sigiriya so I opted for a private one and they didn't mind. Had breakfast one day and it was a big spread and pretty good. The room is very clean and the bathroom too.
The common area was always deserted even though it was fully booked. Not a bad point for the owner but probably the other residents during my stay. Also the main door was kept open all day and traffic sound was always there since it's a very active road.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2025Wir hatten zwei Nächte bei Dilleep und seiner Familie und hatten eine wirklich gute Zeit! Die Familie ist super freundlich und hilft einem bei allen Angelegenheiten. Wir haben über die Familie eine Tour zum Lionsrock und eine Safari gebucht. Beide Touren waren sehr gut organisiert und preislich im Rahmen. Das Frühstück war super lecker, es gab eine große Auswahl und lokale Gerichte:)

Reviewed Feb 22, 2025Die Familie ist super nett & hilfsbereit! Zimmer war sehr sauber & es gab einen Ventilator. Wir haben Abendessen und Frühstück gegessen und beides war sehr lecker!! (Kostet 5€pP). Man läuft circa 20-30Minuten zum Höhlentempel. Sie fahren einen auch gerne zur Busstation hin/zurück (kostet 200).
Das Bad war sehr klein, sodass beim Duschen alles überschwemmt wird & bei sehr leichtem Schlaf könnte der Straßenlärm stören.
