Absolutely outstanding! The staff were so kind and really made us feel welcome. The hotel is well equipped and the rooms very luxurious. You are a short walk from some nice restaurants and bars. Sadly we didn't get to try the breakfast and the host was kind enough to discount us the price because of this. We would absolutely stay again.

Nous sommes venus en famille avec nos enfants de 6 et 3 ans. Un endroit où le temps s’arrête. Tout y est parfait. Les chambres sont spacieuses et d’une propreté irréprochable. Les parties communes sont toujours impeccables, décorées avec beaucoup de goût et un véritable sens du détail. Le jardin est splendide et parfaitement entretenu, tout comme la piscine. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, très frais et servi à table. Trois choix sont proposés, mais je vous laisse la surprise de découvrir ce qu’ils contiennent ! Enfin, le personnel est d’une discrétion et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelles. J’ai beaucoup voyagé et séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels, mais Peacock Villa est le premier endroit pour lequel j’ai eu un véritable coup de cœur. J’ai certainement oublié beaucoup de belles choses à dire, mais je préfère vous laisser découvrir par vous-même ce somptueux endroit et les personnes formidables qui le font vivre. Une adresse que nous n’oublierons pas et où nous reviendrions sans la moindre hésitation.

What a beautiful hotel. Chirandu and staff were very accommodating. The little touches like extra amenities in the room were appreciated. Pool was great and location as well. So tropical. Loved it.

Our stay at Peacock Villa was a wonderful experience. The place has a truly unique atmosphere — full of peace, quiet, and nature. The children also felt very comfortable there. We were especially impressed by the design of the entire property — natural, calm, and very aesthetic. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, making us feel welcome and cared for from the very beginning. The pool was a perfect place to relax, surrounded by greenery, trees, birds, and other animals, creating a beautiful connection with nature. This is a place where you can truly slow down and rest. There is a shortcut to the beach, but you need to pass through a residential drainage area, and the environment is not very pleasant. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but I would not recommend using the shortcut path.

Er utrolig hyggelig lite familiedrevet hotell. Ligger i en stille gate 7 min gange fra stranden. Rommet var rent og fint, frokosten var deilig, kaffe god og personalet veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomme. Anbefales!

We stayed in Peacock villa for 2 days and absolutely loved every bit of the stay. The property was beautiful and very well maintained and would recommend anyone who plans to stay in Mirissa. A special mention to the host who made our stay extra comfortable and pleasant. Thank you for hosting us.😊

Wir waren 4 Nächte dort und es hat uns so gut gefallen. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und auch insgesamt konnten wir uns mit Fragen immer an das Personal wenden. Sie haben uns auch einen Transport nach Weligama organisiert. Man hätte auch Whale Watching über sie buchen können, wir hatten uns aber dagegen entschieden. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und groß (wir waren allerdings auch in einem Dreibettzimmer zu zweit). Es war alles sauber. Die Terrasse war sehr groß, wie bereits in den vorherigen Bewertungen geschrieben besuchen einen dort des Öfteren Affen, diese sind aber sehr friedlich und sind auch schnell wieder weg. Richtig cool! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Es gab jeden Morgen eine Auswahl zwischen drei Gerichten, das fanden wir sehr gut. Die Lage ist super, man ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fußweg am Strand und auch bei allen Restaurants. Unser Geheimtipp für ein leckeres Restaurant ist No. 1 Dewimini Roti, eine sehr nette Familie die ganz tolles Essen zubereiten. Das Restaurant ist nur 5 Minuten von Hotel entfernt. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Man muss auch sagen, dass das Hotel in echt noch viel schöner aussieht als auf den Bildern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The best hotel we had during our trip in Sri Lanka! The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable, with great rooms and a nice swimming pool. We were greeted with a good iced coffee. The host was very friendly and helpful. And Simba the dog was a cutie! Location is also good, 10 minutes walk from the beach.

We stayed at Peacock Villa in Mirissa for a relaxing beach getaway and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and peaceful setting made us feel right at home. The villa itself is beautiful. Our room was very spacious and bright, with a large comfortable bed and plenty of space to unpack. The private balcony was perfect for enjoying the sounds of nature. The pool area is a real highlight. It’s clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by lovely tropical greenery, making it incredibly comfortable to lounge around all day. We were so busy that we couldn’t enjoy it! Breakfast was one of the best parts. Fresh, tasty, Sri Lankan food and generously portioned every morning. The staff were attentive and happy to accommodate small requests. The location is ideal. It’s wonderfully quiet and private, yet just a short, pleasant walk to the beach. We loved being able to stroll down whenever we wanted without any hassle. Overall, Peacock Villa offers excellent value and a perfect blend of comfort, tranquillity, and convenience. We’d highly recommend it for couples or small families looking for a peaceful Sri Lankan escape. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

That it was a bit inside

A spacious room with a lovely little touch for our honeymoon. The hotel is calm, nice, and well located. The staff were friendly and available whenever we needed them.

The view from our balcony was just more attractive than a safari. The density of the jungle and the variety of animals have impressed us. The building is spacious, well-planned and fits the nature. The swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing on hot afternoons. However, the best part is the human side of that homestay. The host and his family are all lovely and caring. The host was just a genuine source of information about everything you wanted to know, from a river safari to the transportation schedule. Oh yes, it is silent, unlike many other homestays we passed by.

Host was great. Very friendly and willing to do whatever you needed. It’s a little bit of a walk to main beach area (10 mins) and I would stick to main road and not the ‘short cut’ but tuk tuks are cheap enough to get if you need to. Once you are at the venue it’s quite peaceful and the pool on site is excellent. We had laundry done and they turned it around that day. It was reasonable too. Breakfast was good. We tried both Sri Lankan options which were tasty and reasonably priced. The resident dog Simba is a character. Very friendly and sweet for a 9 year old. Don’t leave anything outside your room, we had a group of macaques come past and they tried to get into our room. Apparently they will take your stuff if you leave it out. Would stay again though. Was comfortable, clean and secure.

きちんと手入れされたお庭や掃除の行き届いた通路など、敷地内がとても気持ちの良い空間でした。お部屋ももちろん清潔で、とても快適でした。ベッドやランプに鳥のモチーフがついていて、オーナーのこだわりを感じました。朝食は、3種類から選べ充分な量があり、とても美味しかったです。ビーチへは800mほどで、歩くことができたので、立地も最高でした。ヴィラで紹介してもらったアクティビティ会社で、レイクカヤックをしましたが、それも良かったです。

Very warm welcome, extremely helpful hosts, clean room and a delicious breakfast. Sparkling pool and gorgeous Simba the lab! As recommended by host, only use the cut-through footpath in day. The host kindly arranged last minute airport transfer too!

The room was large and I had a lovely view overlooking the canal at the back where a kingfisher was a frequent visitor (along with other birds and wildlife). The breakfast was varied and delicious and the pool, though not big, was enough to cool off on a hot day.

It's a bit of a walk into town - not a huge issue. That's what makes it a lovely quiet retreat from the touristy bustle of Mirissa. Not always enough space around the pool if you wanted to relax in between dips as all the loungers were occupied. Still that's what the beach is for!

温暖な場所であるため虫がいることは施設の問題ではないが、部屋のドアがぴったり閉まらず常に隙間があるため蟻や蚊が侵入してしまう。鍵も南京錠を閉めるタイプで油を差してもらったが硬くてなかなか閉められなかった。 しかし、この点以外はとてもよく快適に過ごせた。

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Das Frühstück war super lecker. Der Eigentümer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch der Wäscheservice hat super funktioniert. Es ist sehr ruhig und man bekommt von dem Trubel in Mirissa nichts mit. Es ist trotzdem alles fußläufig erreichbar. Wir würden sofort wieder hier übernachten.

February 2026. A wonderful, comfortable villa with great attention to detail. The location is peaceful and set away from the noisy main road, which made our stay especially relaxing. We stayed in Deluxe Triple Room #10, and it was spacious and very comfortable. The room has a large long balcony with a wooden table and chairs. Inside, there is air conditioning, two fans, a kettle, a refrigerator, and a safe. There was also a mosquito repellent device, although we hardly saw any mosquitoes. The room has plenty of furniture, and everything is in good condition. There is also an option to do laundry, which is very convenient. What really stood out were the small thoughtful details you notice during your stay: crisp white bed linen with elegant trim, lanterns to make it safe to return at night, a photograph on the wall with a note from the owner, lovely containers for shampoo and shower gel, and good-quality beach towels. The hotel is designed in a very thoughtful way, so on the balcony you do not feel overlooked by neighbors, and you also do not hear them through the walls. Another special joy was the garden area. It is cozy, full of greenery and flowers, and very pleasant to spend time in. The pool area and sun loungers are especially nice. Breakfast was beautifully served, and you can choose your preferred option. A plate of fresh fruit and a coffee from the machine made for a wonderful start to the day. Many thanks to the owner and the staff for such a lovely stay. We would be very happy to come back.

A lovely little boutique style hotel in The quiet roads behind Marissa. There is a lovely pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Considering how many rooms there are, there is not enough furniture in the lovely outdoor breakfast room or around this swimming pool.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und steht für alle Fragen jederzeit gerne zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und das Zimmer ist wunderschön. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Lage ist top. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen !

Tout était parfait, les équipements sont fonctionnels et propres. La chambre ainsi que la piscine étaient propres aussi. Petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Literie parfaite ! Le personnel rien à redire.

L’insonorisation était pas terrible mais il me semble que ce soit commun dans tout les logements au Sri-Lanka….

Osebje je zelo prijazno. Uredijo vse, kar potrebuješ. Za zajtrk je na voljo več menijev. Zajtrki so okusni. Priporočam bivanje tukaj.

Our family loved our stay at Peacock Villa. It's in a great location, a short walk to restaurants and the beach, so very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are large, spotless and comfortable with much needed air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing, the fresh fruit, roti and pancakes delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the laundry service they arranged was quick and very good. Loved the swimming pool and the area next to it was so good to relax in, the gardens are so well maintained.

Quiet location away from the bustle of the beach area but only 10 minutes walk to beach/shops. Very clean and comfortable hotel with highly attentive staff. Delicious breakfasts sat by the pool. Lots of greenery all around and birdsong. We also thoroughly enjoyed Mirissa beach. A long arc of clean sand and warm sea to swim in. We ate at a lovely beach side restaurant both nights and enjoy watching the sun set and the sea lapping not far from our feet. A busy beach, but nice vibe and big enough to not feel over-crowded. Very special.
