Tout était parfait ! La piscine était fabuleuse, la nourriture délicieuse , le service impeccable de la part de Rhalil. Vraiment, nous allons le recommander
Wonderful calm, relaxing stay. Very helpful staff, beautiful natural garden setting with the freshest pool.
All good
Parfait pour un séjour loin de la ville
Just the perfect spot for relaxing in the Atlas Mountains, adored this hotel. Highly recommend.
Nothing
Beautiful pool. Large room with a nice view. Helpful staff.
Many flies. Screens on the windows would have been nice. The bath tub did not drain and wasn’t clean
Beautiful property very relaxing and quiet
WiFi and tv only two English channels
The wifi was bad
Service
Loved the quirky nature of the property and interior design / furnishings. The food was good home cooked fare - no frills but thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was spacious and comfortable with heating on when we arrived on a chilly afternoon. The area was peaceful and tranquil.
The bed was a little hard but didn't stop me getting a good sleep. I would probably liked to have explored more however this would have relied on taxis or guides as walking routes felt a little limited in the immediate area.
Absolute tranquility in an eclectic and individual property. Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and the most delicious food in our trip to Morrocco
Lack of hot water in our room
Small hotel in a peaceful area great for exploring the valley and higher in the Atlas Mountains. Outstanding area. Wonderful to have a log fire in our rooms, very cosy on chilly nights. The staff were outstanding. They organised guided hikes, maps for walking on your own, taxis and transfers. I’m Coeliac and I can’t praise the chef enough for looking after me on our 6 day stay.
I loved everything. The only one thing I would suggest and it’s being very picky is it would be great to have slippers as the floor can get cold.
Fantastic 2 nights stay. Hotel is beautiful with an amazing large outdoor pool and seating area. Also a rooftop area. Bedroom lovely with great views. Quiet, peaceful and all around us stunning views. We did a 3 hr trek which starts from right outside hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. Only problem I found was that we had to pay whole bill in cash as they say ... "they have problems with the credit card centre", so not ideal, especially if you were staying for a long period.
Amazing place to stay, and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Wish we had stayed another day or two.
An incredible view of the mountains from the bed, private balcony and terrace. Large, clean and modern stylish room with wood burner. Very peaceful and relaxing, heated outdoor pool and spa. Food and wine also good!
The sink tap needs tightening down to the basin to and the hairdryer cuts out after 20sec. Was also very cold, but think that’s due to the hotel being closed over the new year, but was cozy once the fires on.
Magical Place. Very unique design hotel with great rooms, lovely food and superb service. You cant help but relax. Stunning gardens and with walks in the Atlas from the door. We did the 2 hour circular walk to the dam on our own - mainly on roads so it was easy to follow - but were delighted that the next day we had booked a 3 hour guided walk with Said who took us off-piste and into the heart of Berber territory. We also had very relaxing massages and a hamman (tourist friendly so no nudity and no flaying!) in the hotel's mini spa. The wood burning fire in the room was such a lovely addition and we would highly recommend Malika for anyone looking for a break in the Atlas and only one hour from the airport.
Well decorated very comfortable superior suite
Some more care/ maintenance should be given to bathroom fittings like shower head clogged by calcium buildup. Both rooms suite and deluxe room. The heating( reverse airco) wasn’t working in the deluxe room.
Everything. Room was stunning, the whole hotel is gorgeous. Both pools lovely. Food great. Catered for veggie and vegan. Good hike and great cooking lesson.
Beautiful location, huge room with a very comfortable bed.
Communication with hotel was sluggish prior to arrival (it was good when we were there) No options at dinner - just one menu
We had a very large, comfortable room with a view of the mountains. We enjoyed our meals very much. The staff, especially Khalid, are exceptional.
Breakfast was very much a traditional fare. Local breads, pancakes, homemade jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt and fruit etc, and eggs are available upon request. The staff were amazingly helpful, including making a birthday cake for two of our party and finding local guides and booking restaurants. The location is fantastic, great for walking and wonderfully relaxing. I can recommend a Panini at lunch time!
The reception when you first arrive is a little peculiar with an old fashion theme (1920) which doesn't really work. But that doesn't detract from the fantastic location, friendly staff, amazing location and comfortable bedrooms.
We stayed in the lodge and it was superb. We would have stayed a second night but it was booked up. It was glorious.
That I had to leave 😩
One of the most relaxing breaks I've had in my 69 years. The hotel is excellent, large rooms, comfortable beds, bathroom with a massive bath with a normal shower and rain shower. If I had to nit-pick it would be nice to have a kettle in the room. Saying that after asking they brought us a pot of freshly brewed coffee at requested time and nothing was ever to much for the staff. Breakfast was great and they'll do a 3 course an evening meal but you don't have a selection. We did however request a meal of Couscous which was outstanding. There are 2 pools one large and a smaller heated. The gardens are superb with many seating areas around. The staff will organise transport, guides etc. for you. There is excellent hiking in the lower Atlas Mountains guided or walk alone. Personally I'd recommend a guide, the do a 3 hour hike and a 6 hour hike which includes lunch at a Berber house which i heard was outstanding. There is a hotel and restaurant 500 metres up the road, Olinto which I highly recommend, they have a great roof terrace which is great to have a SUNDOWNER. In conclusion I highly recommend Domaine Malika
Staff excellent, Great Ambience, food and vibe. Lovely pools and gardens.
Signage!
We are a group of four adults who arrived at Domaine Malika after a busy four days in vibrant Marrakesh . What a pleasure to reach this calm peaceful place in the Atlas Mountains ! Strolling through the beautiful well kept gardens you will see and abundance of fruit , vegetables and herbs - courgettes, tomatoes, pomegranates, peppers etc as well as a thick and well manicured rosemary hedge !All are used in the hotel’s cooking and we enjoyed delicious freshly cooked meals every day . Languishing around the two beautiful pools is such a relaxing experience . The interior of the hotel has some interesting art deco features and the music often subtly playing in the background complements the surroundings perfectly . Khalid and Mourad were excellent and exceptional in arranging transport for us and also a 3 hour trek in the mountsins and trips to Anima Gardens and the Asni Berber market . I would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place to anyone .
Stunning hotel, staff were absolutely amazing!
Tv wasn’t fantastic but honestly there wasn’t much time to sit and watch it, we didn’t use it!
This place is one of those few special places you discover by chance. We had 5 days here and wished we had longer, Khalid, Morad and the rest of the staff made us feel extremely welcome, so patient and attentive, quite rare these days. The eclectic mid-century style prevailed throughout the hotel and gardens. The food was amazing and cooked using fresh organic produce from their own gardens. We felt so refreshed. I would highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely return.
every aspect of our stay in Domaine Malika was a pure delight (again!) The design, interiors, details and layout of the hotel is superb in its taste, a mix of 20s/30s/ 80s French and Berber influence. The rooms are divine, super comfortable, beds and linen supreme. The staff team are fantastic, very kind and caring, super professional and helpful. The food is divine, home cooked to order, with many of the ingredients from the garden. the location is fab for walking, meandering, or treking and only an hour south of Marrakesh. The pool is wonderful, the ambience perfect calm. our second stay was as magical as the first - will definitely be making a return trip soon.
Peace and tranquility, the staff, the food, the interior design. All perfect
Nothing
Lovely staff .fabulous location. Amazing food
Could do with a little makeover in the dining area .
Beautiful gardens, birds and peace and quiet. Spacious rooms and lovely food. The staff were so helpful, the three ‘boys’ front of house were great, but we’d like to give the women behind the scenes, who we never saw, a big thank you - the rooms were always clean and the lady chef was amazing.
We loved the location, but be aware that it is very remote, you won’t be popping into the village for a coffee!
We stayed at Domaine Malika for 3 nights in April with our 3 sons aged 13, 17 and 20. We had an amazing time. Communication before arrival was easy and the hotel arranged transfers for us from Marrakech. We were greeted warmly upon arrival with tea and Moroccan pastries. Our stay there was exceptional. Rooms were stylish and spotless. All meals were delicious and served by friendly and helpful staff. The pool area was fantastic - clean, attractive and with plenty of loungers and towels for guests; a bonus was the heated ‘winter’ pool. The hotel arranged a guide to take us an a walk around the Ouirgane valley and to eat lunch at a local Berber home; this was a highlight of our holiday. Our boys loved the pool and the snooker table and we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks playing cards in the lounge each evening. Sunsets over the mountains were a perfect end to each day. I thoroughly recommend Domaine Malika and would like to thank Khalid and the staff for their friendly and excellent service.
Graat location in the foothills of the Atlas Mtns., approximately 1 hr drive from Marrakech. Great neighborhood. Great staff and food was very good. Nice selection of wines. Grounds are lovely and very green and grown in. Two pools. Could stay a week and take day trips. The staff are wonderful, and will take care of your needs.
Not a thing.
Great setting, very private, accomodating staff, wonderful bountiful breakfast. Infrastructure needs some updating to improve wifi reception, tv reception and perhaps a generator to prevent electric outages due tobhigh winds. The additional services price list should be updated to show increased prices.
The meals provided were extraordinary - honestly much better than many of the other vastly more expensive properties in the area. The pool was also beautiful and the grounds/view very peaceful. The staff were very responsive to our needs
The property could do with some maintenance and perhaps more staff also.
Another wonderful stay at the truly unique boutique hotel. The peace and quiet, the decor, the staff all faultless. Not to mentioned the delicious food that comes out of the kitchen andfrom their gerdens. We, and our group, really enjoyed our time here. Untilnext time Inshallah.
Domaine Malika is absolutely lovely, the garden and pool area are beautiful and relaxing, a true garden of Eden! The food is tremendous and the staff were attentive and kind. The view from the roof is spectacular, our room was spacious and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. It was a wonderful visit and I highly recommend staying here.
A fantastic hotel – warm Berber welcome – elegantly simple food - beautiful bedding – clean rooms – excellent service – stunning grounds and gardens and breathtaking mountain views. The hotel is stuffed with beautiful 20th century furniture, all in an elegant state of dsirepair and decay. I 100% intend to visit again, perhaps a bit later in the year. Late feb, it was slightly chilly.
An amazing hotel with friendly helpful staff who were always on hand to sort any requests. Meals were fantastic produced from local products. Highly recommend local guided trek to Berber village with lunch in the village.
Everything was brilliant
Everything, peaceful space, cool design, lovely food and drink
The hotel was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The pool area was perfect, the private terraces were amazing, and rooms were cosy and idyllic and the wood burners were amazing. The staff were incredible, so helpful, attentive, friendly, professional, it was amazing! We immediately extended our stay we loved it so much. It was a set menu every day and the food was delicious! The whole experience wasn’t at all pretentious but very classy and felt like a luxurious and unique way to spend Christmas.
This wasn’t at all an issue - but if there was a more constant presence in a bar space it would make it easier to grab a drink (but we did always manage to find a member of staff who was always quick and more than happy to help).
We spent three nights here after a stay in Marrakech. What a gorgeous place. Peaceful, lovely incredibly hard working staff, tasty food and an amazing pool area for restful afternoons. Walking up to the villages and meeting the local kids was a humbling experience I won’t forget.
Beautiful pool, luxurious rooms, lovely staff and great food, lovely decor. Would recommend!
Beautiful location in nature. Nice view from the rooms. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was AMAZING! Friendly staff who really do their best to help and guide you. Definitely recommended to enjoy the nice weather and the beautiful garden after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech!
Staff very friendly offering a real personal service. Great food and location for access to hill walks.
Our stay at the final accommodation on our Morocco tour surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived until our departure two nights later, every detail was flawlessly executed. The spacious, luminous room offered a comfortable sanctuary, complete with a well-appointed bathroom stocked with premium toiletries. The chic lounge provided ample seating options, while the two expansive swimming pools offered serene spots for relaxation, far outnumbering the guests in attendance. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly its sprawling garden, teeming with an abundance of fruits and vegetables. The meticulously tended grounds spanned several acres, inviting exploration and admiration. Service throughout our stay was exemplary, with every meal exceeding our culinary desires, including delightful vegetarian options. The wine selection, reasonably priced and varied, complemented our dining experiences perfectly. The staff also provided invaluable assistance, offering guidance and maps for scenic walks in the surrounding area. Our unguided four-hour trek showcased the local landscape, though reminders of a recent earthquake were still evident in nearby villages, where many residents continued to endure hardship in temporary shelters. Despite the challenges, the warmth and hospitality of the locals remained undiminished. While tourism remained sparse, the region's potential for regeneration through sustainable travel was evident. Our tranquil retreat stood as a testament to this, offering a preferable alternative to the bustling day trips from Marrakesh.
Superb food. Very friendly staff. Very tranquil, if slightly quirky place. Would highly recommend
This was the last accommodation in our Morocco tour and it was the best by some distance. From start to finish everything in our two night stay was perfect. Gorgeous light and airy room that was very spacious, comfortable bed, good bathroom with quality toiletries. Lots of seating areas in the stylish lounge. Two swimming pools with so many different places to relax that far exceeded the number of guests. They have a huge productive garden growing their own fruit and vegetables that spans several acres that is worth a look. Service was immaculate throughout our stay. All the meals without exception were excellent and they can cater for vegetarian options. Good selection of reasonably priced wine is available. They can offer advice and maps on walks in the area, we did an enjoyable four hour unguided walk that took us around the local area. Although the hotel was largely unaffected by the earthquake, the repercussions on the local area six months on are plain to see with the nearest village still sadly devastated and many still live in tents. It is important to stress that everyone was so friendly, there are very few travellers around but the area needs tourism to help regenerate, our hotel was quiet throughout our stay and we found staying here a much better option that a day trip from Marrakesh.
Amazing location, great pool, amazing food ans attentive staff.
WiFi was intermittent, bathroom products just okay and some tech old - eg hairdryer. But overall we loved our stay.
Our room was so spacious and beautiful. We had duel aspect of the mountains from our bed which was so special and relaxing. The staff are exceptional - very smiley and helpful. The food was lovely, not too much as we’ve found in other places in Morocco. The pool area is also very lush and beautiful.
Refined villa in a lush valley close to the Atlas Mountains . We had a generous first floor room with terrace and mountain view, nicely decorated and with all amenities. Just one remark about the hard mattress. The house is full of delicate vintage furniture, and has a laid back atmosphere, with 2 swimming pools, one heated. The manager is discretely present to attend all wishes. Breakfast and dinner are served in the greenhouse or outside when summer comes. A huge garden full of plants and olive trees invites for a stroll. We had a great stay !
As good as all the reviews state. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left, our stay was perfect. We arrived late evening and the fire in reception had been lit just to welcome us. This great hospitality continued throughout our stay. Transfers went smoothly and the Mountains hike organised by the hotel was amazing. The food was excellent as was our room. Would go back in a heartbeat.
The pool area is lovely, but feel like more could be made of it! Also, the hiking tour of the Atlas Mountains that the hotel arranged for us with a local guide was fantastic. It was definitely home cooking rather than a restaurant but the food was really tasty!
It felt like the decor needed a huge update, it felt very old fashioned. Also, there wasn’t really any staff around during the day for help with getting any refreshments - would have been great to have someone down near the pool area and it looked like there was space down there to have a bar/snack area. I would also consider creating a bit more atmosphere for the evening dinners, it was VERY quiet when having dinner and it felt awkward at times!
Really quiet after the hustle of Marrakech- beautiful countryside just an hour out of Marrakech
It was charming
The staff were excellent. Highly attentive throughout my stay.
The pool was very cold!
This is a beautiful hotel in the Atlas Mountains. The room was luxurious, food plentiful and amazingly presented. The pool area was a peaceful haven. The staff were kind and friendly. Plenty to do in the local area but also a very lovely place to relax. It has a stylish retro Moroccan design that works very well.
Domaine Malika is set in a beautiful location surrounded by the High Atlas mountains. We combined our stay there with 3 days in Marrakech (1hour 15min drive through lovely scenery). We were met at the hotel entrance by Khalid who was a continued helpful and smiley presence throughout our stay. He helped us to plan an itinerary for our stay. This included a luxurious Hamman spa afternoon (we've never felt so clean or relaxed) and a guided trek on mules across the national park. We could not have done this by ourselves and the local guide, Mohammed, was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The trek included sharing mint tea and snacks at his Berber home. We visited about a month after the earthquake and are so glad we didn't cancel - it was inspiring to see how the local people have pulled together to help each other and ensure the children still receive schooling. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, although the swimming pool was not heated (they are currently building another one). The only sounds we heard were the call for prayer and cockerels crowing! The food was delicious and plentiful. Domaine Malika was a perfect retreat after a busy few days in Marrakech.
We were first apprehensive to come here only a month after the earthquake. But Domaine Malika was completely unaffected and worth every penny. Beautiful grounds, great service and food, and a slightly quirky interior. Highly recommended!
Breakfast was great, dinner was great, breads always warm and delicious. Fantastic service and beautiful location
The beds were very hard - would recommend swapping them out.
This is a luxury priced hotel. For this to be acceptable, they would need to improve their amenities and services. The location is certainly very pleasant and quiet. My room in a garden house was very acceptable, large and well appointed. The WiFi performance in the room was terrible, which in this day and age should not be the case. I could only send data from the lobby. The owners are rule driven. There is a list of obvious rules to comply with. On the day of departure, I could not pay by card as their card machine was said "not to be working". This was the 3rd out of 5 hotels with malfunctioning card machines, somewhat too much of a coincidence. My suspicion is that they want cash. I did not have enough cash and had to pay with UK£ at a terrible rate of exchange. I think such greediness is not called for when Morocco needs tourism right now after the earthquake. On balance, Malika need to much improve to be a truly pleasant luxury experience.
Everything was great
Nothing to not like really
the facilities and staff. the staff were so attentive and friendly. when I didn’t feel well they made me specific tea to soothe. furthermore they actually gave us a free room upgrade too. literally couldn’t have asked for more from them!
the only improvement I would make is having a little more variety of TV channels as the place was so relaxing it would have been good to have a smart TV as advertised.
The hotel is beautiful - both the interior and the grounds. The atmosphere is relaxing with wood fires and gentle jazz music. The staff are friendly and the food was delicious. We had a hammam and massage with Amina on the last day with was also excellent. One of the most stylish, relaxed hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
I can’t think of anything
beautiful property, wonderful staff, clean, comfortable accommodation. quiet, tranquil stay. would highly recommend. jacky
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with such beautiful landscape. The staff was amazing
The hotel is very clean but a little old.
We had a wonderful two night stay. The staff in the resort had a great hospitality. The breakfast was very very nice. During our stay, we had the best hammam and massage experience. The second day, we did a trekking with berber lunch together with our guide Lahroussi, which was a beautiful day: Lahroussi gave us a great insight in the moroccan culture and is a very integer and inspiring guide. We would love to recommend Domaine Malika to everyone that wants to relax and enjoy a beautiful walk in nature.
Wifi was not quite solid during our stay
Wow!!! I couldn’t recommend more! Food was amazing. The best vegetarian food I’ve ever had. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Felt like a home. It was so beautiful and relaxing.
LOVED EVERYTHING!!!
