Casa do Mar - Nazaré Big Wave Spotter House

Très bien placé, très propre, arrivée libre bien organisée, pièces communes (salle de bain + cuisine) propres et bien pensées / équipée, jolie déco, super terrasse.

Le chien qui aboie à 7h00 du mati avec la machine à laver ou sèche linge qui tourne à fond toute la nuit ... Pas le plus reposant. Avec le lit qui grince au moindre mouvement, pas de place de parking donc garé dans la rue et on s'est fait abîmer la voiture de location pendant la nuit.

Honestly everything! Tina was very welcoming and a lovely person to talk to, and Adriano gave us so many amazing tips and suggestions to properly visit Nazaré! The place is very well maintained and so clean, especially the rooms and bathroom. I can't recommend this place enough! We felt at home, even though we stay for a very short time.

Lo que las me gustó del alquiler es la ubicación céntrica, la atención y cuidados de la dueña de la casa, el buen ambiente que allí se genera, el pueblo es precioso.... Que decir de una casa tan bonita, muchas gracias a doña Tina y a su hijo por la estancia, sin duda repetiremos

Who doesn't love a small affordable guesthouse in a beautiful beach town with a friendly owner! Not fancy but it feels like someone is opening up their home for you!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, in der man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Die Lage war super. Adriano war super hilfsbereit und freundlich und hat uns sogar einen Surfkurs organisiert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We loved our stay !! The most cosy feeling accomodation, with a great kitchen and balcony to eat your food or relax. Short walking distance to everything on the top of the Nazare area. We felt very relaxed and would 100% be staying here next time we are in Portugal.

Warm welcome and kindness, in family house where you feel at ease immediatly, authentic. Very quiet, clean and confortable. Appreciated terrasse, and kitchen at your disposal.

Les gérants de l'hébergement sont très aimables, à l'écoute et réactifs. Bien situé, à côté du funiculaire et du promontoire

Les hébergements sont nombreux pour un petit espace mal isolé. D'autres visiteurs sont rentrés à 23h et ont mis de la musique dans leur chambre sans que cela ne fasse descendre les gérants (qui vivent au dessus) pour leur demander de faire moins de bruit. Le matin, une de nos serviettes avait été utilisée par d'autres visiteurs et il a fallu en redemander.

À proximité du centre dans la ville haute, top accueil toujours avec le sourire, propreté d'irréprochable, les chien sont ok dans cet endroit. J’y reviendrai.

La décoration, la facilité de parking, la tranquillité, la convivialité du lieu

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tina ist auch stets da, wenn es Fragen gibt. Die Lage ist super und wir haben vorab viele Tips erhalten. Unsere Empfehlung ist auf jeden Fall der kleine Markt Mini Mercado de Mar ums Eck. Dort kann man auch leckeres Frühstück bestellen und Croissants kaufen.

Entgegen der Ausschreibung gab es keine Waschmaschine, wir haben aber auch keine gebraucht und es gibt zahlreiche Laundrys ums Eck.

Schönes kleines Zimmer im alten Stadtkern mit Gemeinschaftsräumen für Küche und Sanitär. Alles ist bestens ausgestattet . Zu Fuß ist die "Touristenmeile" gut zu erreichen.

Very clean and decorated with love and thought. Kitchen and bathroom well organized and with everything you might need. A terrace to eat breakfast outdoors. Loved the location as near for North beach and a beautiful walk downhill to town and beach. Great value for money. Friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay

The owners were very nice and attentive; the room, kitchen and bathroom were all clean and well-equipped. The location couldn't be much better; it's a 10 minutes walk to the famous viewpoint and the beach. Would come again!

Free parking, good restaurants within walking distance, the owners were lovely. Bed was comfortable and bedding was cosy and warm thank goodness!

It was very cold. The radiator helped but couldn't cope with the windy and cold weather we had. It was quite crafty and the en suite was really cold and wet due to rain and the shower leaked over the floor.

Amazing location, friendly staff and clean facilities. Lots of personal family and Nazare history throughout the property which was cool. Everything was great!

We had a dog with us, and although the property says it’s pet friendly, there is a dog on site which we weren’t aware of and wasn’t mentioned in the listing. It stays outside the property on the balcony or deck, and barks at random hours of the day and night. Especially when it sees motion inside your room, which then could set other dogs off staying in the room. It was distressing for our dog and took away from the experience, especially when we paid €10 for our dog to stay, it would have been good to know ahead of time so we could have made a more informed decision. Other than that, everything was great.

We loved the feeling of staying at home. They have a lovely, shared kitchen with a refrigerator that can be use. The beds were cozy and Tina was so sweet! We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Nazare.

The location of this apartment in Sitio is simply unbeatable. If you are visiting Nazaré, it couldn't be situated any better: The Waves: The famous big waves (Praia do Norte) are just a short walk away. If you are lucky to have big waves. Even without waves it is beautiful to go to the lighthouse Convenience: The funicular (funicular) down to Nazaré beach is only a few steps from the front door. Comfort: The room was a pleasant size, and sharing the bathroom with only one other room worked out perfectly and was never an issue. Cleanliness: The owner is very dedicated to keeping everything spotless. Kitchen Balcony: Having a balcony attached to the kitchen is a fantastic bonus and a great place to relax. Conclusion: A top choice for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Sitio with easy access to everything Nazaré has to offer.

Cons: Interior vs. Photos: The decor looks much more stylish in the videos and photos than it is in reality; it’s actually quite rustic. Did not meet expectations Heating Issues: The small radiator in the room is completely underpowered for chilly or cold days. We were unfortunately far too cold during our stay. Cramped Kitchen: While the kitchen is well-equipped, it is too small for three parties. Even with just two groups, it feels very tight. Value for Money: For a room with a shared bathroom, the price is at the absolute upper limit for Portugal. This might be typical for Nazaré’s popularity, but it felt expensive for what was offered.

We understood it was supposed to have a continental breakfast, but we never saw that. The room was incredibly cold, but there was a heater so that helped.

Communication wasn’t the best, because we sent a message the day we got there and didn’t get an answer until the next day. However, Tina was on site

It was quite cold at night. Maybe a heater in the bathroom and in the kitchen would be great. An electric blanket or hot water bottles to warm up would be nice too. Maybe the shower needs a bit of maintenance.

Location was very convenient for getting to the beach and walking the old town. It's a quaint more traditional style property

We were there in January and it was damp and cold. Although there was a space heater in the bedroom it was far too small for the room and ineffective. We used 6 blankets and yet the room felt damp and very cold. We were not comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen had no heat source. It is also not well sound proofed so noisy neighbours sharing the space an issue.

Big room, good shower, nice kitchen facilities and a brilliant location.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Wir waren dort, um die Big Waves von Nazare zu sehen und es war nur ein 15-Minuten Fussweg zum weltbekannten Strand. Es hat beim Hostel genügend Parkplätze an der Strasse. Das Hostel ist sauber und hat alles nötige was man braucht. Es gibt rund um das Airbnb ein paar gemütliche Cafes - wir waren aber in der Nebensaison da und vieles war auch geschlossen.

Das Hostel hat keine Heizung, nur eine Elektroheizung im Zimmer, die man einstecken kann. Es ist also im Winter sehr kalt im Haus. Ausserdem ist es ziemlich muffig, weil es eben wegen der Kälte im Haus auch ziemlich feucht ist und deshalb z.B die Handtücher die ganzen 3 Tage die wir dort waren nie ganz trocknen konnten. Das Muffen hat mich persönlich ziemlich gestört. Aber trotzdem muss man sagen, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auf jeden Fall top: Für den (kleinen) Preis den wir bezahlt haben, darf man auch nicht die grössten Erwartungen haben. Deshalb würden wir es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Casa do Mar staat op een fantastische plek! The place to be! Je staat voor je het weet bij Praia do Norte.

Mij viel niets tegen. Het is een authentiek Portugees huis. Met de luxe van vroeger. Heel leuk!

Sehr liebevoll selbst eingerichtete „Suite“. Es fehlte an nahezu nichts. Tolle Lage nahe dem Leuchtturm.

Ein leistungsstarker Heizlüfter wäre in den kalten Monaten angenehm.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr persönlich und gemütlich eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden wie beschrieben. Auf Fragen wurde immer schnell und unkompliziert reagiert.

Attention à la montée depuis Nazaré pour les moins sportifs et leur bagages. Mieux vaut privilégier le funiculaire.
