Das Personal war super freundlich! Pubudu und Ashan waren stets sehr bemüht und haben all unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt und erfüllt (sogar am Abend noch Snacks für uns eingekauft). Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war einfach gehalten, aber dennoch gut.

Ist etwas abgelegen. Eigenes Fahrzeug ist zu empfehlen. Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Il mérite vraiment son nom : c’est un petit paradis très calme. L’hôtel est très propre, avec une literie confortable et des chambres spacieuses. Le personnel est charmant, attentionné et toujours à l’écoute des clients. Un séjour très agréable que je recommande sans hésitation.

Najlepszy hotel podczas całego pobytu. Ogromne pokoje, wygodne łóżka i rewelacyjny basen. Atmosfera miejsca sprawia że aż chce się tam wracać

Co za wspaniałe miejsce!!! Polecam ten hotel. Bardzo duże pokoje, czyste, wygodne. Klimatyzacja plus wiatrak sprawdzają się idealnie. Wspaniały basen i ogólny klimat. Bardzo dobre śniadanie. Ale największym atutem tego hotelu jest personel. Pomocny, uprzejmy i bezproblemowy. Polecam to miejsce!

Просыпаться под пение птиц и шелест листвы — бесценно. При этом до пляжа и кафе легко добраться пешком или за 5 минут на тук-туке . Это идеальный баланс между дикой природой и цивилизацией. Сад и дикая природа. Это, безусловно, главная "фишка" отеля. Территория напоминает ботанический сад. Каждое утро и вечер к нам в гости приходили обезьянки — прыгали по деревьям и забавно наблюдали за завтраком гостей со стороны . Видели также белок (чипманков) и множество ярких птиц . Это невероятное ощущение — жить прямо в джунглях, но со всеми удобствами! Сервис и проживание. Персонал очень приветливый и отзывчивый, всегда готов помочь с трансфером или подсказать маршрут . Номер был просторным, с балконом, выходящим прямо в сад. В номере чисто, есть кондиционер и холодильник . Питание. Завтраки сытные и вкусные. Подают омлет, тосты, свежие фрукты и местный свежевыжатый сок . Очень атмосферно завтракать на террасе в окружении зелени и наблюдать за обезьянками на соседнем дереве .

Well where do I start. It would be easy to say everything, but that's not helpful. So... First and foremost - staff. The boys are the real stars of this stay. Always present, always working, always polite and with the smile. Pabudu and Nisal (or should I say Chianu and Pola) were friendly, but not intrusive and appared at a perfect time every time. The owner (I forgot to ask his name) was not always around, but when he was he showered us with tips, jokes and history. Ofered some good deals. We ordered some fresh juice and the blender broke, so he arived in 15min with a new one. Pool Simple and clean. With sunbeds in the sun and shade. Restaurant. First of all pretty cheap. Prices for water and juices are the same as in the market, so I did not feel any hotel markup. Meals also looked at appropriate pricing. Maybe not Michelin, but tasty. Breakfast Not a lot of options, but it was all you need. During our 5 nights we did not get bored.

It is not that that was a problem, but just to note, that It is a 10-15min walk to the beach. It was a nice walk for us though.

The location is quiet and so peaceful which is lovely after a busy day on the beach. The surrounding flora and fauna make this place so special to watch and listen to the local wild life.The standard of service is excellent ...there such a happy helpful team .

Réservé 20 minutes avant d'arriver, accueillis comme des rois, très bel emplacement, très bel hôtel, personnel au top, cuisine au top, les singes dans les arbres, magnifique piscine, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !!!

Ne pas oublier le produits moustique pour le soir a l'extérieur, mais pas de soucis ds les chambres. De toutes façons moustiquaires ds les deux chambres que nous avions.

Deze locatie pas een uur voor aankomst geboekt maar we werden hartelijk ontvangen. Eenmaal binnen de omheining overtrof de accommodatie onze verwachting en hadden we de complete aandacht van het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel. (Later bleek dat we de enige gasten waren die avond.) Het diner en de dag later het ontbijt waren prima.

Mooie, propere kamers met alle nodige voorzieningen. Goed werkende airo, heel fijne badkamer. Mooi, groot zwembad. Wij waren de enige gasten in dit vrij grote hotel waardoor het nogal doods aanvoelde, het was wel fijn om het zwembad voor ons alleen te hebben :-)

Basic ontbijt in verhouding met de prijs voor een nacht. 900 SLR (bijna €3) bijbetalen voor een kopje (lauwe) cappuccino bij het ontbijt, jammer dat dit ons niet gezegd werd bij het bestellen.

Such a beautiful and indeed calm place. The plants, the birds and this high end hotel in the middle of it. Large bright room, perfect dinner and breakfast made by the chef and all this serviced by the very sympathetic Pubudu. The management is very quick in communication and very helpful in things lije taxitransfers, etc.

The room size the bathroom was enormous. The pool was lovely. The breakfast area was nice. I liked the location. The bed was comfortable.

Only small things could improve the stay, such as somewhere to put toiletries when taking a shower. And the beds around the pool were either dirty from the trees or in the direct sun and too hot to use. I don't want to complain it was a superb hotel.

A beautiful place with a nice swimming pool, big and comfortable (with huge bathroom) and really tasty breakfast. Pubudu and Amila took a really good care of us and helped us in every single thing we asked. Super friendly and helpful. thank you so much guys it was a pleasure. We would love to come back.

This was the best vacation at Hotel Calm Heaven! I can't express in words how Supun and his wonderful team made our stay unforgettable, easy, and joyful. I am sincerely grateful to every person who was with us during these two weeks! You guys are unforgettable! And the food, wow! We had never had such a delicious dinner anywhere. Thank you! We left with tears in our eyes because we didn't want to say goodbye. I want to express my gratitude to Supun once again - thank you. He is an amazing person who helped me with any questions. I went with my family , needed Bed space for 3 and the owner happily arranged it and gave us bit early check-in too, I was amazed he didn't even asked my ID or passport or payment instead in advance, Staff was so friendly , Pool is amazing. Room was clean, bathroom is huge, Food was tasty and in good quantity. They even guided us best places to go and easiest way to reach by car. Even after checkout they treated us nicely and asked to be there and use pool as long as we want. I haven't found someone so friendly to guests, specially to Locals. Hotel was full with foreigners and we were the only Local family, but they treated us just like they do to Tourists. Thank you Supun and Staff, we will definitely come back

Fantastic, we had such a lovely stay. The hotel is spotless, we thought it was brand new to be honest. Every thing is just so clean. It’s located close to the city with many restaurants and nice beaches but in a nice quiet area. So you don’t hear traffic or anything except for birds when you are relaxing at the pool. Breakfast was amazing, nice juices, fruits, bread, oatmeal or local options all very tasty! But the staff was absolutely the best.. They are incredible friendly and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The owners must be really proud of this great group of people. We are sad that we have to leave this wonderful place and we can’t wait for our next visit!

Amazing pool. Really relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are huge! Overall a really nice hotel. Aircoditiong also worked really great! The manager was not on site, but still made sure all our needs and wants were met. Good breakfast and the staff was always smiling. They also provide tuktuk service which can bring you to town and back. Because we had our own tuktuk this hotel was a blessing, because it is really a calm haven in the outskirts of the city. Within a few minutes you are in the city Thalpe and Unawatuna and it is a short 20 minute Tuktuk drive to Galle.

I vacationed in March 2024. I liked the hotel very much. Quiet and beautiful place. The staff is very responsive. The rooms are bright and spacious. The breakfast is good. This hotel is a great place for those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and looking for relaxation. It is located 20 minutes walk from the sea. Since there are not so many tourists in the area, it is possible to relax on the nearest beach without crowds of people. I recommend this hotel to everyone for whom price-quality is important.

We liked our big room which has two big windows with a view of the garden and a wonderful bathroom with an authentic design. The staff was really polite and helpful. Breakfast is really large and tasty, we didn't need lunch half of the day after such a breakfast.

Convenient location, it takes only 5 minutes to get to the beach with turtles, 10 minutes to get to the central beach and the street 👍 the rooms are clean and new compared to many hotels at this price) the manager is very kind and helps with all questions) there is a swimming pool and it is clean I highly recommend this hotel

Very calm and comfortable place. It takes ~20 minutes on foot to the nearest beach (the Turtle beach where you can swim with sea turtles) and additional ~10 minutes on tuk-tuk/bus to the busy places in Unawatuna/Galle. Our host Supun was very kind and helpful including transfer to the residence and to the airport. The rooms are very big and tidy, the pool is clean, and the place itself is surrounded by beautiful nature. Breakfasts were nice too. We booked this residence the day before the arrival due to unforeseen circumstances with another booking and couldn't be happier once we finally arrived. Highly recommend this place, feels like home.

-The owner Supun is very hospitable, genuine and down to earth, and will treat every guest equally. - The staff was kind and helpful just like the owner. -I liked that there was no cut off time for breakfast. It takes away the rush in the morning. -The room was clean and very spacious. -Simple filling breakfast.

Everything was great no complaints! Just room for improvement, -have a reception area. (We had instances where we were in need of something and couldn’t find anyone) - have tea/coffee in the room.

Beautiful, calm and peaceful location just 20 min from Galle town. Rooms were clean and in excellent condition. Theres a nice view from the balcony Special thanks to all the staff giving us an amazing service and hospitality despite how they were a little understaffed during our visit they took great effort to made sure that we had a comfortable stay They checked on us on every possible time. Dinner was delicious as well. Thank you so much! We will be back when we visit Galle!

Comfy room, kind stuff, nice pool and good location, tasty breakfast

The building is very loud. We had a room under the dining room and every morning at 7am we were awakened because the stuff prepared tables for breakfast. Also when you have inconsiderate neighbors who want to hang out by the pool all night, you hear everything.

Hotel Calm Haven was the best stay from our 14 days trip in Sri Lanka. Super large bedrooms, classy shower area, a sparkling clean & a well maintained property with tasteful interiors. Supun and team took great care of us. They customised the breakfast for my family's liking and went to utmost length to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Will highly recommend the property for your next visit to Galle.

Everything was great.

This stay was excellent - I was the only guest, and still had a sparkling clean pool, a clean room and excellent service from the staff. They were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was incredible, and they were kind enough to go above and beyond in other aspects, such as helping me access an ATM and making me the most amazing Sri Lankan lunch.

Staff were friendly and supportive. Calm environment. Clean and spacious rooms. Delicious food.

Pool water had a little too much Chlorine. Price was a little too high for a bed and breakfast stay as can stay in a 5 star hotel for a full board package for a little more.

Nice and spacy rooms. quiet location. There is potential for 10/10. But we had a few letdowns compared to other places we stayed in the country.

Bad smell in the bathroom. Not in depht clean. When we opened the Mosquito Net a lot of dead flys and Mosquitos fell out. At the day of our Arrival there were too less explanation about were the dining room is, about the W Lan and about general things for example when the breakfast is. We couldn't reach any staff til the evening to explain us the questions we had.

We had a great stay at Calm Haven, it is exactly what it says; a calm haven. The location was perfect for us, 5 minute ride from the beach and located in a wonderful serene area. Staff were very attentive and made us extremely welcome. Special thanks to Supan, he was fantastic. We were originally considering a hotel on the beachfront, however having stayed here we would return again without hesitation, the beaches get so busy, calm haven is a great place to retreat at the end of a sunny beach day and chill by the pool.
