It was peaceful and clean Staff was nice and kind. Breakfast was ok.

The property was further from everything. Minimum service compared to its remote location, need transport for anything, such an example no bottles of water or cups were provided. The doors in the room was really old fashioned and not very convenient for two people as it’s wakes up the other if we use the bathroom doors. Value for money I would give 5

Unfortunately, the facilities didn’t quite look as in the pictures on booking.

Stuthi Villa is a well maintained and cozy accomodation with a nice swimming pool. We had a booking including breakfast and every morning this was a more than pleasant start of the day. Our room and bathroom had nice sizes, were comfortable and cozy decorated. A big thank you to the staff, they let us feel at home and we had some beautiful days here.

Ottima location in posizione riservata, immersa nella natura, in un contesto davvero rilassante. Camere pulite e con tutto l’essenziale. Staff preciso e puntuale: nota di merito per Asanka, sempre disponibile e attento.

De badkamer was heel fijn, mooi en met openlucht. Ontbijt was heerlijk, er was keuze en voldoende eten. De service was fijn, er werd meermaals gecheckt of we iets nodig hadden. Op verzoek kregen we dingen die we nodig hadden, zoals een tuktuk chauffeur of een extra kussen.

De afstand van de kust viel wat tegen, het waren geen fijne straatjes om te lopen, maar via het verblijf kan je een tuktuk fiksen en dan is het geen probleem! De kamer had maar één klein raampje, dus het was wat donker.

Super mooie accommodatie en een heerlijk ontbijt!

Está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila y sin ruidos. Todas las instalaciones están muy abiertas al exterior, incluso el baño, por lo que se siente mucho el contacto con el entorno. La piscina es espectacular.

El personal que gestiona el alojamiento es poco atento y poco servicial. Nos dio la sensación que al ser temporada baja el trato recibido no era el mismo. La relación calidad precio no es la esperada, el primer día el desayuno fue muy pobre (lo cual nos sorprendió después de leer otros comentarios), por lo que el resto de la estancia preferimos desayunar fuera. Está más alejado de la playa de lo que inicialmente parece, y la falta de iluminación en los caminos de acceso hacen que sea complicado ir o volver caminando si es de noche, por lo que es algo a tener en cuenta.

The pool, the bathroom, the room it's self, the caretaker was super nice made us feel very welcome, great communication, I liked the location a lot, quiet but only a 5 mins drive to restaurants and shops.

They could provide refillable water bottles and glasses in the room, I didn't bring one fair enough they don't want plastic but because I didn't bring one I had to go get plastic water from the shop. It would also be good if they provided a kettle and coffee rather than needing to ask for coffee. But honestly I'm picking at small things because it was a fantastic hotel I'd highly recommend it.

Lovely quiet oasis away from the noise of the town. The staff were lovely and very helpful (especially when we needed help fixing our scooter). Delicious breakfast and bottled water included, along with a great outdoor shower and pool area.

Peaceful hotel tucked away from Ahangama hustle and bustle. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, as well as the pool area. Rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and coffee included each day. We love Stuthi Villa and have returned multiple times!

Location is great, away from the noise of the centre of the village. 20 minutes walk from the beach Very nicely decorated and there is a lot of space around to relax. Garden is beautiful and very well kept. Loved decent size and clean swimming pool, with enough loungers for everyone. Our room was a good size and spotlesly clean. Staff we met were all lovely and helpful people, they offered us a delicious homemade fresh juices and cups of tea on several occasions. They also helped us to find a tuktuk driver which I ended up using for 3 days we qere there. As there is no mini fridge in the room, they kept our beer cold for us too! There is a choice of Sri Lankan or western breakfast, we endeyup having Sri Lankan one as it was delicious. Overall 11/10, thanks for having us and hopefully we'll get a chance to come back!

Dit was de mooiste accommodatie tijdens onze reis van 9 weken door Sri Lanka. De villa is zo sfeervol ingericht, de kamer was prachtig en de tuin met zwembad is heerlijk. We zijn hier echt tot rust gekomen. Lekker rustig net buiten het centrum en super lieve mensen. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen! Een absolute aanrader

De villa is echt prachtig heel mooi ingericht, er zijn heel veel bijzondere planten en dieren (apen, vogels, pauwen en kittens). De kamers zijn heel goed en de badkamer is fantastisch. Het is een oase van rust en weg van het (voor mij) te drukke ahangama. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. De tuin ligt er fenomenaal bij en het zwembad wordt goed schoongehouden.

Het is iets verder weg van de restaurantjes maar er zijn genoeg tuktuks in de buurt. Het resort heeft behalve ontbijt geen andere horeca behalve een water cooler. Je kan wel heel de dag door een theetje krijgen.

Prachtige locatie en kamers.

Zwembad had een vreemde kleur, werd op onze tweede dag wel schoongemaakt maar bleef er groen uit zien. Daardoor geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Gastheer is vriendelijk maar vaak onduidelijk.

De accommodatie is mooi. Fijne ruime kamers en een lekker zwembad erbij.

Qua gastvrijheid mag er nog wel wat verbeterd worden. Eén klein praatje maken bij aankomst en vertrek zou ik wel minimaal verwachten.

If you're looking for a peaceful stay whilst also within walking distance to liveliness of Ahangama then this is the perfect place. The staff were lovely & the Sri Lankan breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip. Pool is stunning and lots of loungers. It's surrounded in wildlife and we spotted Mongoose, monkeys, bats and birds. Room was comfortable and very clean.

Rien, nous avons tout apprécié.

Het is een oase van rust, alles klopt! Het zit niet aan de hoofdweg van ahangama of daar dichtbij, maar dat vonden wij juist een verademing. Verder was was het personeel van het verblijf super vriendelijk. De nachtbewaker, tuinman en de all round manager zijn top, dank voor het fijne verblijf!

Het is een mooie villa in een prachtige tuin met een fijn zwembad. De kamer ziet er top uit met een lekkere buitendouche. De beheerder is aardig en behulpzaam.

De villa ligt wel wat afgelegen maar met een tuk tuk ben je zo op het strand. Onze taxi chauffeur had moeite om de villa te vinden dus een bord bij de doorgaande weg is handig. En bij de oprit naar de villa is de naamsaanduiding aan het zicht onttrokken door het groen.

J'ai adoré mon séjour dans cette villa, le lieu magnifique tout était au top. La douche extérieure J'ai beaucoup aimé et le petit déjeuner au top ! Je recommande !

Hôtel bien situé si vous êtes motorisés (scooter). Le petit déjeuner est très bon, avec le choix entre un petit-déjeuner sri-lankais ou occidental. Le personnel est adorable, en particulier Asanka, d’une grande gentillesse et très attentionné.

Les chambres sont moins lumineuses que ce que laissent penser les photos sur Booking. Bon à savoir : l’appel à la prière à 5h du matin peut réveiller les personnes sensibles au bruit. La piscine est très jolie, mais malheureusement difficilement exploitable en raison de la présence importante de moustiques. Un peu cher quand même pour les prestations proposées.

Un havre de paix à 15 minutes à pied de la ville. La piscine au soleil et le jardin. Très bon petit déjeuner copieux.

Prix des tuktuk très variables donc peut être une source de dépense importante. Pas de possibilité de manger hormis le petit déjeuner

Milý a ochotný hostitel - při příjezdu nám byla nabídnuta masáž celého těla, okamžitě zařídil půjčení skútru, dělá výbornou omeletu :)) Nádherné prostředí, voňavý pokoj, super venkovní koupelna.

Pokoj sice skvělý, bohužel kdo ví proč jsme ho měli s jiným pokojem spojený pouze slabými dřevěnými dveřmi!!!! takže bylo od sousedů slyšet naprosto všechno!!! a nebyl jediný den, kdy, jsme nemuseli něco řešit - jeden den nám nefungovala elektřina (po celé budově fungovala), další den netekla teplá voda ... naštěstí bylo vše rychle vyřízené.

Really nice and helpful staff, it was kind they bring you tea or coffee during the day. Delicious omlettes for breakfast. Everything was clean and the garden was wondeful. Location is perfect - far enough from busy and noisy city centre but still close to walk (20min to the beach).

There was quite dark in the room when you closed the balcony door. It would be perfect if the owner installed mosquito net there.

The room and bathroom were both beautiful and very clean, with well-functioning air conditioning. The pool area was lovely, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. As a solo female traveler, I felt 100% safe throughout my stay. There is a bit of walking distance or a short tuk-tuk ride needed to reach restaurants and the beach, but it is worth it for the peace and quiet.

Everything was nice.

Beautiful, peaceful place with everything we needed. Lovely clean pool, room was very comfortable and stylish. The staff were super friendly and constantly making efforts to keep the place nice. Delicious and big breakfast with plenty of choice. Also, wifi and aircon worked perfectly.

Some communal areas could’ve been a tiny bit fresher but the staff were working very hard to do their best.

Beautiful oasis of peace outside of Ahangama busy city. Well maintained, Asanka was super helpful and even got a birthday cake for us. Also rented scooter via the hotel.

Mooie schone en meestal rustige lokatie. Lekker zwembad. Goed onderhouden tuin. De tuinman is voortdurend bezig alles op te ruimen. De kamer is fijn met een mooie douche buiten tussen de planten. Het sri lakaanse ontbijt is heel goed. Een prima lokatie voor een paar dagen uit de drukte van het dorp.

It’s a beautiful property with very nice touches and a traditional rustic design yet very chic and unique. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool was lovely. We loved our breakfast every morning and the staff were amazing. We definitely recommend it.

En makalös vacker liten oas med närheten till Ahangama.

Stuthi Villa is located in a calm area and with the nice pool a place to slow down and relax. The rooms were very well equipped and positively special was the openair bathroom. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was local food and also very tasty. All in all, a nice accomodation to stay!

The ventilator can be very noisy if left on during the night.

Het hotel is gevestigd in een prachtig gebouw en met veel oog voor detail ingericht. Wij verbleven in twee verschillende kamers, waarvan één met een buitendouche, een leuke extra. In de tuin ligt een fijn zwembad met comfortabele zitjes. Het ontbijt is goed, iets kleiner dan bij andere guesthouses in Sri Lanka, maar dat is begrijpelijk omdat de eigenaar alles alleen runt.

De accommodatie ligt zeer rustig, iets van de hoofdweg van Ahangama af. Die rust is prettig, maar de afstand is net te groot om steeds te lopen en net te klein voor veel tuktukchauffeurs om interessant te zijn, waardoor het soms lastig was er één te vinden. Deze accommodatie is vooral ideaal als je zelf over een tuktuk of scooter beschikt.

La piscina está en un entorno agradable. El desayuno el mejor de mi viaje a Sri Lanka. Quisimos alquilar unas motos y nos ayudaron con todo, fue muy sencillo.

Había muchos ruidos en nuestra habitación. El baño no tenia gel ni champú.

Was a very beautiful and peaceful location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice too.

Asanka and the team taking care of the villa are always ready to greet with a warm smile. The room was clean and loved the outdoor shower we had in our room which was so relaxing and beautiful. There is a hot/cold water dispenser in the dining area and tea and coffee was made available whenever we wanted one. We asked if a tuktuk could be arranged for us to head out for dinner and it was arranged. When we returned from the dinner the night shift caretaker was waiting for us and greeted us with big smiles. The highlight of our stay would probably be the breakfast that Asanka arranged, I requested a Srilankan breakfast with a little bit of every variety, he did not disappoint.Thank you Asanka and team and Stephane for running such a beautiful place.

Os trabalhadores são todos uma simpatia. A natureza envolvente é relaxante e os quartos são super confortáveis.

O pequeno almoço podia ser ligeiramente mais vasto com um sumo natural e um iogurte com granola por exemplo. Dada a localização no meio da natureza há mesmo muitos mosquitos e formigas naturais do meio envolvente.

The place is super quiet. You get to see monkeys jumping around in the trees. The staff is super nice as well and they do their best to help you around ! The breakfast is really good (either western or SriLankan. Must tell the owner the day before)

My room was connected to another one and the isolation was not great. I could hear people speaking in the other room like they were in mine.

Wirklich besondere Unterkunft inmitten vom Dschungel - ab und zu sind kleine äffchen von Baum zu Baum gesprungen oder ein Pfau hat den Garten durchquert. Da das Badezimmer draußen ist muss man also auch mit dem ein oder anderen Tier rechnen, allerdings wurden wir gut verschont und haben das Bad mit der Dusche unter freiem Himmel sogar als Highlight gesehen.

Eher für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt, zum Meer sind es ein paar minuten. Es kommt leider kein TukTuk per pick me App zur Unterkunft. Hier kann man aber über die Unterkunft direkt eins bestellen

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa, the area is calm and beautiful with jungle vibe, some wild (not dangerous) animals. Sunbathing and swimming in the pool was also very relaxing. The room was not big but comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was unusual but beautifully made. As described, the villa is located not too close to the main streets and the beach so expect some walking if tuk tuk rides. The stuff is friendly and can make coffee/tea on request. The room gets cleaned if you ask in the morning. There’s also a fresh bread bakery not too far (Rollingpin) which can be visited for lunch and small take aways.

The noice isolation is poor. We could hear our neighbours next door. If it would be fixed, the place would be 10/10.

Mooie schone nette huisjes. Leuk ingericht, donker en koel waardoor je er prettig kan slapen. Zwembad is prettig. Er is veel natuur omheen met daarbij ook dieren die aan komen waaien zoals de purpergezicht langoer, mangoesten, pauwen, hondjes en katten.

De handdoeken werden 'slechts' eens per drie dagen gewassen Geen restaurant op het plekje, het is kleinschalig. Wel stukje lopen vanaf de hoofdstraat

Wat een paradijsje! Het zwembad is heerlijk en de kamers zijn heel mooi. Wij hadden een prachtige buitendouche, waardoor je tussen de planten en in de zon stond te douchen. Heel bijzonder. De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en kon met van alles helpen. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

Breakfast was good. The facility was very nice, but we had trouble finding it due to its location. The room's bathroom was very nice and comfortable.

The location is very far from the center, and we had difficulty finding it. Our room had no windows, and we could hear the sounds of religious services in the early morning. This could be a problem for long-term stays.

The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The pool was the perfect temperature in the garden oasis! 3 of the rooms have outside bathrooms which are a real treat showering under the sky and trees. Asanka is a fantastic asset to the villa and no request was too much. Lovely breakfast every morning.

There could be more toiletries available in the bathrooms as there were only one very small bar of soap. And a blanket available for each room.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy antique villa with nice rooms and outdoor bathrooms in a quiet area of Ahangama. Beautiful gardens, lovely pool and attentive staff that can prepare a very tasty Sri Lankan breakfast.

Het zwembad was heerlijk voor een avondduik na een warme dag! Het personeel deed heel erg hun best voor ons. Alles was netjes en schoon!

Hele rustige fijne omgeving. Mooi zwembad met fijne ligbedjes. Ruime kamer, hele complex is mooi gedecoreerd. Super vriendelijk personeel, niet heel goed Engels maar is allemaal goed gekomen. We vonden het super fijn dat we hier op onze laatste dag onze bagage veilig konden stallen en zelfs nog even mochten douchen voor vertrek naar de luchthaven. Heel gastvrij!

Ver lopen naar het centrum, tuktuks zijn niet echt betrouwbaar in dit deel van Sri Lanka (is onze ervaring geweest) Ontbijt was een beetje weinig maar wel lekker. 1e dag kregen we nog wel wat Sri Lankaans erbij wat super lekker was maar de 2e dag was het alleen ei met toast en wat fruit. Ons bed kraakte enorm en de klamboe was op meerder plekken versleten. Maar al met al vonden we dit een heel fijn verblijf en zouden we het zeker aanraden!

Der Weg dorthin war schon ein Erlebnis, hindurch der grünen Idylle Ahangamas. Das perfekt restaurierte u umgebaute Haus lag inmitten eines gesplegten tropischen Gartens, indem man morgens beim sehr reichlichen Frühstück Affen, Mungos u Pfaue beobachten konnte. Der Blick zum Pool läd zum verweilen ein. Der Weg durch das Haus versetzte mich auf eine Zeitreise der Plantagenhäuser. Zimmer idyllisch, sehr sauber. Hübsche Deko. Frische Blumen. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bett komfortabel mit Moskitonetz, was man aber nicht benötigt. Wenig Insekten unterwegs. Badezimmer ein Traum u immer warmes Wasser. Chef Stéfane u Personal sind sehr gute Gastgeber. Freundlich, zuvorkommen u aufmerksam. Alles absolut ruhig u harmonisch. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Großes Kompliment für dieses authentische Gefühl der noch intakten Sri Lankanischen Welt!!!!

Fantastisch ingerichte grote kamers met luxe badkamer. Een heel fijn zwembad. De tropische tuin. Het is echt een plaatje! Ontvangst met een kopje thee in de tuin.

Un lugar con mucho encanto, más bien idílico, y con una decoración con mucho gusto y al detalle. Muy cerca del centro pero lo suficientemente apartado para mayor tranquilidad y relax. La piscina es fantástica, rodeada de vegetación. Bien mantenido y cuidado por el personal. Aquí debo hacer especial mención a la amabilidad y la cercanía de Asanka, magnífica persona, que ha estado siempre pendiente de que todo estuviera en orden y que tuviésemos la mejor de las estancias. Ofrece desayuno de 2 tipos, occidental y típico Sri Lankés. Nos gustó ambos.

Idyllisch resort met een schitterende kamer en badkamer. Vriendelijk personeel en een erg lekkere omelet bij het ontbijt. Personeel helpt je bij al je vragen zoals een tuktuk regelen, koffie of thee en nieuwe handdoeken. 5 nachten erg goed gehad hier.
