Breaksfast was good and the staff on the ground were helpful and friendly.

The Superior King room I was booked was nothing like what was advertised on this site. 1. I had to cross the main road and couldn’t be with the group I was travelling with. 2.There was an unbearable smell in the room and the finishes were quite sloppy. It didn’t look too clean. 3.There was a bathroom with two entrances. Was not sure if the other door was locked but there was activity and people on the other side. The host who contacted me initially stopped texting back and my colleague had to call to try and sort things out. My colleague swapped rooms with me eventually, and I was able to return to the main house which was a much better experience.

It was a good full breakfast and presentation was good - it would have avoided wastage if we were told what was being served, as dietary needs differ

Shower floor was very slippery. Instead of standard floor tiles, a non-slip tiling shower floor would have been safer, especially for older folk.

The staff was very friendly they even waited for me to arrive past the time and we're friendly even at that hour

Great location and the breakfast is phenomenal!

Maintenance could be better. We called twice for maintenance issues over a 3 night stay.

Comfortable beds and a quiet location conveniently located to everything in town. Good back garden with small pool and outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast served each morning in the dining room. Security was good at the property and we felt safe during our stay.

We didnt realise that some of the rooms available to book were located at a property across the road (think these were the Queen Rooms advertised) This however was fixed without any hassle and our party was all accommodated at 182 Transkei Road. The new room we took had one or two items still left from previous guests but was still very clean (and considering the last minute change did not affect our stay)

The staff was lovely & friendly. My room was comfortable & the bathroom plus the outside shower were the cherry on top!! Definitely worth visiting again. The property is safe. The location was perfect for me.

The owner was very considerate, I had to request an early check-in and she woke up and helped me. She is amazing.

A minor issue, it felt less private with the other door leading to the main house although it was looked.

I loved: The breakfast, I loved the fruit and pancakes starter. The decor The sensitive wetwipes, bery thoughtful The Espresso machine, that espresso gave me a kickstart to my day. The room was spacious, loved it. Very comfortable and big bed Oh the shower 🚿 was so big the water felt like a waterfall

The dogs of the property was a little bit loud, when we sat outside- they barked the entire time. Even when we were inside our room, we could hear them barking consistently. But Im a dog person, so it didnt bother me that much- but this could be a problem for other.

I communicated to Zeena that upon arriving hom and going through my handbag, I noticed that I had money missing which I had kept in the side pocket inside the bag. She said she’d get back to me and never did and until I made they call and didn’t pick up my call but instead wrote this: “Good day Sivuyisiwe, I trust you are well. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and have discussed the matter with our staff. At this stage, we have not found any evidence to support the allegation. Our establishment has been operating for over 10 years with the same team, and we have consistently maintained a positive track record with both local and international guests. Please be assured that we remain committed to maintaining a professional and trustworthy environment for all our guests. The biggest issue was the food!It was so small and we did not all make it to the guest house, however, the serving wasnt much. The waitress mixed coffee and tea-that was the strangest thing ever!

I love the place at first sight.Meeting Hanlie and Pam welcome me made it more relaxed.The staff was excellent,daily greeted us with warm welcoming face.The was that our rooms were serviced through our stay.The complimentary daily water supply,it show that the place it’s the to rejuvenate people.

We were at a separate location from the main house which has the swimming pool and where breakfast is served. The gate buzzer didn’t work so you have to call for them to open the gate that side. Day 2 we called and wait for long for the gate to be opened and we had to walk back to ask one of the ladies to go open for us.
