Each and every thing starting from reception to till check out very nice . Hotel just opposite to Beach. Enjoyable location. Staff very cooperative and ready to help any moment. Nice to stay and will consider to visit once more.

Nothing to dislike

+ no bad smells + decently clean - bedsheets, towels feel new and fresh + good location, right near the beach and open views + super helpful staff, very eager to help and make your stay the best they can + they did a birthday bed spread for us + one of the cheaper options, good value for money considering beachfront location + decent cleanliness! + a good option if you're going to spend most of your time at the beach or eating out, a clean place to sleep and refresh!

- some furniture (like outdoor seating) is old - shower/bidet electrocuted us. they tried to fix it but changed our room when repairs took longer. some sort of wiring issue - the wiring issue was also apparent in our other room which was right next door, no electrocution but the outlets didnt work in some spots. - breakfast spread was extremely bare bones - tv is in a weird spot (above door, neck-breaking angle) and doesnt work (youtube didnt open, no other apps or media that i could find) - seems like they are undergoing renovation and there is still more renovation to be done - rooms feel very dark, the lights are quite dim

The room itself was nice and staff were friendly.

This was my least favourite island out of 4 that i went to. There is 1 beach, and only certain hotel guests are allowed to use the sun loungers and umbrellas. Beach Stone guests cannot (because they didn’t contribute to the loungers), meaning you have to lay on the sand. The island is very small. I would suggest either Dhigurah or Thulusdhoo instead of Gulhi.

Personel hotelu pomocny, przy przypłynięciu łodzią czekali już na nas by zaprowadzić nas do hotelu a przy wymeldowaniu odprowadzili i upewnili się, że wsiadamy we właściwą łódź. Plaża bikini dosłownie 20 metrów od wyjścia z hotelu, więc legalnie można już z hotelu wyjść w stroju co jest super. Obok hotelu wiele leżaków, huśtawki, nawet pomoc medyczna.

Wow! We had the best couple of nights at this beach front property! Such good value for money, and the breakfast was great. The best thing however was the staff going above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and well looked after!

Location was good. Breakfast included but a five minute walk to another building. Best thing about the place was the very nice guy who single-handedly provided breakfast off site.

Really poor value for money. Deluxe room did not have a working tv (no real effort made to remedy the problem), room supposed to have a fridge - it did not until we insisted and an old rusty one was brought in. The two outlets on the counter with the kettle did not work. The doors to our small main floor patio did not close or lock properly. A disappointing stay.

Lovely guesthouse on a beautiful island. The staff were very friendly and helpful for all our questions, they organized our speedboat transfers to and from the airport as well. Bed was super comfy, the air con was great. You get beach towels, and daily bottled water. Breakfast served in their restaurant a short 1 minute walk away, and was delicious every day, with plenty of choice.

Minus - rust stained linens, I had to ask for switching them to new ones, but next ones had stains as well- visually very unpleasant. Also you can see that place has seen some time, light switch is flickering, a crack in a window glass. Stains on the floor and on the walls, coffee and glue stains on table surfaces. Double locking in the door doesn’t work. Maybe a little cheaper price would match better what you’ll get for your accommodation here.

The hosting staff is wonderfully friendly, the location of the property near 'bikini beach' is very good. The room is spacious and there is an individual outside seating area which overlooks the beach.

Gulhi island currently is essentially a building site. This is of course nothing the host can do anything about. The island has been extended, there are new buildings going up or older ones being renovated. Across the bay a new island is being build and the ongoing noise of the building machinery can be heard all the way to the property. The property is tired and in need of an upgrade.

The staff were so helpful couldn’t do enough for you what ever you needed they went above and beyond superb also the location was excellent a stone throw away from bikini beach

L'armature en fer d'un futur restaurant juste devant l'hôtel.Une ile en construction juste en face de l'hôtel et de la plage,avec le bruit des engins 24/24 heures. Transat de l'hôtel ,à la plage en très mauvais état....Pas de parasols pour notre hôtel....Sinon payant. Petit déjeuner servi uniquement jusqu'à 9 heures. Serviettes de plage et de la chambre tâchées et changé seulement tout les deux jours . Petit déjeuner servi à quelques rues de l'hôtel face à un immeuble en construction,avec un bruit assourdissant. Restaurant de l'hôtel fermé,sans date de réouverture.

Ubicacion perfecta. Las personas que lo llevan, Lila y oshman…. Son de lo mejor, te hacen sentir una familia en tu estancia y pendiente siempre de nosotros. Gracias a ustedes por vuestra amabilidad, lo mejor del hotel son ellos.

El hotel necesita una renovacion, pero nada que haga fastidiarte la estancia; relacion calidad-precio buena.

Super bien ubicado a un lado de la magnífica bikini beach, con vistas al mar cristalino, el hotel es de dos pisos con una amplia terraza en la parte superior, sobre la cual se asomaba nuestra recámara, amplia, limpia, confortable, y con todos los equipos en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento, excepto el ventilador de techo, muy ruidoso. En la playa tienen camillas reservadas, y te dan toallas de playa, lo cual se aprecia mucho El personal que lo administra es escaso, pero muy amable y disponible.

El mobiliario y las instalaciones son algo viejos y desgastados, lo cual también desmerece la limpieza. El desayuno incluido, decente, lo sirven en un restaurante del otro lado de la isla; a pesar de que sean menos de 5 minutos de camino, es algo incomodo. Estuvimos 3 dias, en los cuales tampoco pudimos cambiar las toallas de playa, ya que no había otras limpias.

Die Lage des Guesthouse auf der Insel ist die Beste und Nila und Ihr Kollegen waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer freundlich.

Es gibt eine Mängel wie z B. verschmutzte Wände; des weiteten fällt an wenigen Stellen bereits der Putz im Zimmer ab. Im Bad gibt es keine Möglichkeit wenigstens ein Handtuch aufzuhängen, rostige Armaturen und schimmelige Silikonfigen. Leider ist gefühlt die gesamte Insel eine Baustelle, so dass es zu erheblichen Geräuchbelästigungen kommt.

Breakfast wasn’t the greatest. You had to go to a small building away from the hotel, lots of flys in the breakfast room.

El hotel es muy cuqui delante de la bikini beach, la Unica playa que vale la pena. El desayuno se hace en un restaurante a un minuto y el servicio es excepcional, Khan nos trató de maravilla. El personal es muy servicial y la habitación tiene todo prescindible, total, te la pasas todo el día en la playa. Muy muy recomendable. Vienen a recogerte al puerto y t gestionan los traslados.

La ubicación es perfecta. La habitación con vistas a la playa una maravilla, creo que no hay otro lugar en la isla así con esas vistas a la zona de bikini beach. La habitación muy amplia, y muy cómoda. La playa muy limpia y grande. El personal muy atento.

Tuvimos la mala suerte de tener en la habitación de al lado a una pareja muy escandalosa, que no se callaba ni de noche y nos despertó super temprano, pero eso no es cosa del hotel, si no de la educación de la gente.

Los huéspedes son súper atentos, la estancia está literalmente a 20 metros de la Bikini Beach. Te recogen y te llevan a las Speed Boat. Y antes de llegar era muy fácil la comunicación con ellos. 10/10

Wat een ontzettend lief stel, Nilam & Oshan, iedere dag hun uiterste best doen je het naar de zin te maken, dit hotel is een beetje gedateerd met wel een heerlijk bed en goede douche, je was nog niet de kamer uit of de kamer werd schoongemaakt, een dikke 10 voor Nilam & Oshan!

Vies en smerig eiland, veel troep, alleen bikini beach wordt schoongehouden, in Gulhi zelf ligt overal troep,, er is ook helemaal niets te doen, zwaar islamitisch, je hebt alleen het strand en voor de rest helemaal niets, eten in de restaurants is een drama, veel hebben ze niet en als het er is dan wordt je direct aangevallen door tientallen vliegen, 2 weken lang vruchtensapjes en hetzelfde eten rijst, spaghetti, pizza, na het eten zat ik alweer op mijn hotelkamer, ik had hier veel meer van verwacht, was gewoon blij dat ik naar Sri Lanka mocht.

First of all, I really liked Gulhi as an island choice because going to an island with only a resort on it and people to serve you feels weird to me-- and Gulhi, although very small, has nearly 1000 people on it. This is right on the water with a nice view just steps from the sand. The staff is really even better than the view!! The communication before you arrive is excellent-- and the staff there? Theeeee best!! As far as going to the Maldives and staying right on the water by a beautiful beach (two of the nearby islands actually boat over to the beach at Gulhi because it's gorgeous) you're not going to do better than this or more affordably.

We had an amazing stay at Beach Stone in Gulhi, Maldives. A special thanks to Nilam for her warm smile every day and excellent service. Her colleague Oshan also deserves praise for the room service and housekeeping that were exceptional, and the Wi-Fi network was excellent. We appreciated the water bottles provided to us regularly. The staff truly deserve a 10 out of 10 for their outstanding service to the customers. the delicious and varied breakfast should also be remarkable The hotel offers a beautiful sea view and is just a one-minute walk to the bikini beach, which has free access, available shade, and lounge chairs. We highly recommend Beach Stone for a perfect getaway!

I didn't like that they didn't warn as about there's a scammer on the beach even if they knew about him. On the raining day the ceiling is leaking and they don't have enough towels. Breakfast is very,very poor. In any case, I am very dissatisfied

The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from Bikini beach. The staff were excellent, and I appreciated them booking the speedboat to and from the island for me. Lovely touch being met at the speedboat on arrival. Thank you for your kindness!

The staff was very helpful and even accommodated us earlier than the official check-in time. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom included a hairdryer.

The room we were given didn't have a sea view, just a window that faced the lobby. However, I understand that at that time, no other rooms were available. Also, there was available only one towel per person.

Very kind people in hotel. They will help you with everything you want. They clean room every day ☺️. Hotel is very near the beach. Benefits is that you can order the food in your room.

We had the most amazing two nights at Beach Stone. It was our fave place we stayed at in the Maldives. Nilam was so friendly and helpful. She helped us organise tours and speedboat and was very accommodating with checkin and checkout times. We will definitely be back if we come back to the Maldives!

Unforgettable experience. The team here truly made our stay special. The girl at reception and Roshan, who looked after our room, were fantastic. She was always welcoming and helpful, and together they worked seamlessly as a team to make us feel completely at home. The personal touch they brought to their service was heartwarming, and we were genuinely sad to say goodbye to them. Our air-conditioned en suite room was spotless and had everything we could ask for, including a balcony with a sea view and incredibly easy access to the beach. The attention to detail in maintaining the room’s cleanliness and comfort was second to none. The hotel is associated with a restaurant and an excursion provider, which was handy and practical. Both services were excellent and the best in Gulhi. Beach Stone Guest House is highly recommended for anyone visiting Gulhi—wonderful people, great service, and a perfect location!

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Gute Lage, eine Minute zum Bikini Beach. Das Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant war sehr gut und der Service sehr bemüht!! Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer und der Terrasse einen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer! Gulhi an sich ist eine nette Insel, der Strand wird in Zukunft (es werden einige neue Unterkünfte gebaut) zu klein werden, da auch Tagestouristen kommen und viel Müll verursacht wird.

-afternoon lady who gave us room is not very accurate. We had room with seaview and balcony. Pictures do not match reality. Terrace only open to all no balcony. Only 2 seaview rooms, ours was missold and in 2nd row with much smaller windows. They will sell 4 rooms with seaview but only 2 have it on 1st floor. No discount or apology offered. Terrible service. - bathroom is barely a bathroom with occasional insect visit including cockroach, somewhat understandable given island -2 nights more than enough. Not many food options with best restaurant being ayala. Fulhoi that belongs to beach stone be ready to wait 1 hour for your food. Staff is lovely however at restaurant. -no guaranteed chairs or umbrella at beach, despite claiming so.

I would say this is the best property on the island Because the position is the best, Next To bikini beach. However, the island in general is one big building site. There is also quite a bit of trash around, lots of plastic thrown here and there so the island itself was disappointing to me. It is not the paradise I had imagined. The water however is absolutely gorgeous and as far as the hotel is concerned you could not be in a better position.

I don't have any complaints about the hotel itself but the island has too much building going on. A lot of concrete everywhere. If you are looking for a tropical paradise then you may be disappointed. The islanders need to do something about the plastic trash everywhere.

Great accommodation right next to Bikini Beach, sun loungers on the beach, great breakfast included in the price. I even tried the typical Maldivian breakfast, highly recommended, very nice staff who will pick you up at the ferry upon arrival. Possibility to take nice water and coffee throughout the day.

The Nepalese and Bangladeshi staff were lovely, helpful and effective. Their situation seems pretty untenable on Gulhi although they paid agents in Nepal and Bangladesh to find them jobs. The owner-manager allowed me to use my room until 3pm on the day I caught 4pm ferry back to Male and the airport. King coconuts, beautiful water, beautiful sunsets and wonderful torrential rainstorms. No other fluent English-speaking were there while I was, which was fine with me. Mostly Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Czech and cChinese tourists.

My flight arrived at 11:30am on Fri but could not get a ferry to Guhli (Beach & Stone) until 4pm because Fri and Sat are religious holy days. WARN OTHERS NOT TO ARRIVE EARLY ON FRI-SAT IF THEY DEPEND ON A FERRY. The manager-owner of Beach Stone charged $25 each way for the ferry, though I (wrongly) assumed that this was included in the Booking fee. The owner-manager charged $1.21 to add some milk to a cup of tea! oh my. The breakfast was pretty horrible. White bread, grilled tomatoes, hot dog/sausage for the English. Beg for Maldivian breakfast (chopped up tuna, coconut and lemon.) The shoreline is covered with construction debris and the reef is pretty much dead unless one looks for "artificial reef" of metal near the harbor. Some of the people offering reef trips are total scoundrels. I traveled alone. In spite of what Booking.com says about Beach&Stone, it's much easier to arrange everything if one is with a partner or a group.
