The reception is absolutely amazing and friendly--Vasco especially. All the staff are super nice and helpful. The room was perfect--comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The fridge, kettle, and microwave are exrra ammenities I really appreciate. I wish I could return for my next stay in Johannesburg but they're all sold out.

Location was excellent as it allowed us a five minute walk to the Rivoniah village to shops and restaurants. View could have been better with raking of leaves on the lawn and from the pool. It was cold so one couldn`t even think of swimming.

It was very disappointing that the establishment could not even consider accommodating a partial refund for the unused portion of our booking, as we did not stay for the second part of our reservation. We understand that the booking was made on a non-refundable basis; however, we felt we had no choice but to book alternative accommodation because our concerns were not adequately resolved. The water pressure was extremely low, making it difficult for guests to shower properly or even wash their hair. The room was also uncomfortably cold. It only had a single bar heater, which was insufficient to heat a tiled room during winter. Although the heater was replaced, it made very little difference, and the room remained cold throughout our stay. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience and had expected a higher standard of comfort and service.

Honestly those ladies and gentlemen deserve a raise😂🤌🏾 they check on you like no one else and always greet you with the warmest smiles.. their hospitality truly makes you feel at home.. big compliments to the entire guest house team for the outstanding service😅

How the parking is located, far from the rooms,the location of the reception at the window gate, ( steep hills on entrance) No glass on shower water spills all over,it makes floor slippery may cause injuries

Power went off unfortunately due to Eskom, BUT the staff literally walked down the street and asked them to put it back on for me to do my hair for an event (SO SWEET).

Vasco is the absolute best. Even the night shift gent was excellent.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. Great reception when we checked in. Our first room's sliding door could not lock, so we were moved immediately to another room. Really well situated and felt save.

The shower had no door, or screen and the bathroom got soaked. My aunt traveled with us, her room did not have water in the mornings to shower. This is quite a big issue. She had to walk to our room to come and take a shower. As I mentioned our first rooms sliding door could not lock, this was actually on a review I read before booking, and it was not attended to. I would suggest to read the reviews and making the necessary changes.

The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Netflix is there and working. The same can be said for wifi

The location was ideal in the heart of Rivonia. The Guest House is cozy and very quiet. After visiting the many touristic activities in JHB during the day, it was also pleasant to come back to this comfortable Guest House that I called "Home" during my stay. The staff was very friendly and ready to assist. I have to give a special mention to the concierge "Vasco" who was amazing! He was always able to assist me whenever I had any concerns and when I decided to extend my stay last minute, he went over and beyond to ensure that I could be assisted and that everything went smoothly. Thanks again Vasco, you were awesome :)

I experienced some issues at times with the wifi which was not always stable, but once again, when I raised the issue at the reception, Vasco was there assist and sorted out the issue for me in less than 10min.

A beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place, conveniently located close to amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Peaceful sleeps are guaranteed on a comfortable bed, and the bathroom is very clean, equipped with a refreshing shower gel that I now purchase for my own home. The smart TV with Netflix allowed me to log in with my account, and the Wi-Fi connection had a proper speed. I was also able to extend my checkout time as prearranged, which made my stay even more convenient.

I would just like to advice that cushions be installed on the headboards, so they don't bang on the walls. the sound is unbearable coming from next door.

The stay was quite good, very safe and reception always ready to offer any help. I checked out with Vasco, he was really helpful helped me with storing my things as I was going somewhere else. I loved the kitchennete in the rooms, helps one with mini groceries ( not to cook please) but warming your food and the fridge to store your goodies. Home away from home.

Decent location. Value for money when it comes to rate for room, however there was no water on the property during evenings which is not ideal. Good shopping nearby.

The area suffers from water load reduction, weren't the water in the area is disconnected from time to time. There is also no back up or contingency for no water.

I liked everything about my stay. Vasco (the receptionist) was so welcoming,kind and always available whenever we needed something.He is very neat,friendly and well dressed an ideal person to be the face of the guest house 😊. We had some wet clothes and the staff helped us dry them without hesitation and we were very thankful for that.

Everything was excellent with the accommodation. I just feel like the pictures are not doing the actual place justice . They can definitely take nicer pictures of the guest house but other than that,everything was good.

I appreciated the location, the peaceful atmosphere, and how clean the property was.

The shower water pressure was too low. I was also disappointed that the property is not well-suited for rainy conditions. There is no external covered area to walk under and avoid getting wet, and even inside the unit, there is no sheltered space, such as a veranda, to remove wet clothing before entering and staying dry.

I liked the flexibity of staff, understanding and respect for their business. Cleanliness was on another level. It exceeded my expectations. The place was just amazing. Convenient located next to Rivonia village boulevard and still cost reasonable. People ddnt believe it when i told them. I could go to Gallor manor, Rivonia village on foot, the place is safe and beautiful. i would love to rebook it for my next stay as someone from Cape Town. i got so much for value of money.

There were cleaning ladies talking loudly to people outside. Thats my only comment. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

This is my go-to place whenever I'm in Johannesburg. The rooms are always immaculate, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Vasco from the front desk always goes above and beyond to ensure that I have a lovely stay. I highly recommend this place. Truly a hidden gem best enjoyed with others!
