Its location is excellent. The unit we were in has had dome upgrades to the bathroom. Very cosy to have the fire and wood supplied. This is our 4th visit.

The wifi didnt pick up on the phones the signal was bad. just maybe add a dry rack for bath sheets for the winter to dry properly also extra warm blankets if needed on the post where I booked said shower and bath in one,but only a shower was in the unit was very disappointed. The bathroom was very cold. The warm water pressure was very low.

Is such a quaint little place and really good value for money.

Stable wifi with DSTV connectivity, hot water and heated blankets.

No prior check in detail. I phoned the number pasted to a fence to gain access. Clean bedding but everything else looked grimy and in need of an upgrade. No form of housekeeping for a 2 day stay, how are we supposed to wash mugs, glasses and dishes without a sink or dishwash liquid? Our most disappointing stay ever.

A lovely, quaint little cottage

It was freezing inside with no heater and we couldn't get the fire started without kindling

The rooms were pretty. The showers were great (and lovely hot water!). The complimentary sherry was a nice touch. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Super place to stay overnight on a long trip from KZN to Hoedspruit.

It would have been nice to have a privacy screen between us and our neighbours across the courtyard when sitting at the little table outside. And bigger bath towels would have been a bonus.

The cottages are lovely, situated just outside the town, surrounded by a beautiful countryside. The room was very big and with everything you need to make your stay wonderful. There is also a wooden stove for the night since in Dullstroom winter is pretty cold. Everything was just perfect.

Exceptional - everything you need for comfort was there with good linen etc.

Parking access. It would be impossible for a low clearance vehicle to access the lock-up garage.

We were only there briefly attending a wedding. Our accommodation was really good we were comfortable and warm and located very conveniently. Thanks for a lovely stay ☺️

Value for money. Liked the little bottle of OBS for the cold night.

To access the property was difficult, waited 20min for the gate to be opened. Room was not ready and we did organise with the host to get the room cleaned 1st. Had to ask the cleaner to please clean this room before the others as we had to get ready for a wedding.

It was clean, warm and cozy

Sharing a single bed with my husband. They had 2 separate single beds and we didn’t wanna sleep apart. But that was the only room available when we booked (this is not a complaint by the way).

Not much really. Just a play to sleep while I was there for fishing. It was clean.

No Bath. Low pressure on hot water. 1 fire lighter and 2 matches at the fireplace. Second day, no extra wood. Take your own wood etc if you want to use the fireplace.

バフダブのお湯が出たり出なかったりすることがあった。最初は問題なかったけど、再度お湯を出そうとしたらしばらく出なかったりと理由が掴めなかった。

Peaceful, tranquility. Very close to walk to parkrun at the Dullstroom dam. Fire place and wood provided. The wifi. The electric blanket which was a surprize. Nice walk to town, leave the car and walk.

The location - close enough to walk to the shops and its proximity to the Dullstroom Inn was great as we could walk to dinner.

It offers self catering but nowhere to wash dishes - you have to wash dishes in your basin which is not ideal.

The cottage was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The cottasge is Located in a nice quiet part of town and within a short walking distance of everything!!

A little more lighting in the bathroom would have been nice. Although the bed was realy comfortable, we found the bedding to be a little too small for the bed. On our first night, we were kept awake almost all night from 11pm with constant dripping of condensation falling from the roof gutter into a tin downpipe which created a consistant dripping sound that one could not ignore. There is a hack for this which is to place a rag in the outlet pipe at the base of the downpipe, this worked perfectly ;)

The apartment was very spacious and overall clean, the staff did everything possible to make us feel at home, and the parking right in front of the property was very convenient. The fireplace was also a lovely feature.

The apartment felt old and in need of renovation, the room was quite cold, the fireplace was not very practical for heating the whole apartment, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for check-in because no instructions had been provided.

Loved how cosy the cottage was. Especially the fireplace, we enjoyed having dinner next to the fire place in the sitting room.

The cottage was quaint and cosy! The absolute epitome of a stellar Dullstroom stay! The rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was clean, tidy and perfectly equipped.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. The only thing I disliked was that we were not there for a longer stay! We only got one night in this gorgeous cottage before hitting the road to Hoedspruit.

Sichere ruhige Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Nacht auf dem Weg zwischen Kruger und Johannesburg Airport. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es gibt Kaffee, Kakao und Milch sowie einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Sehr netter unkomplizierter Kontakt.

Die Fenster, die sich direkt über dem Bett befinden, sind sehr dünn und da kann es schonmal reinziehen wenn es kalt wird. Dafür sind aber dicke Decken vorhanden.

We stayed in the Daisy Cottage which is a spacious 1 bedroom self catering cottage. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Comfortable and clean. The showers water pressure is fantastic. We didn’t realize the cottage got cleaned in the morning so it was a pleasant surprise to have arrived back from our parkrun to find that our dishes from the night before had been cleaned. (We actually felt bad as we always do the dishes before we head out however with the Dullstroom Parkrun canceled due to the heavy rains, we left early to head to Nelspruit to make the Riverside Reserve parkrun in time)

Just the parking area - especially when there has been a huge amount of rain. We battled to get the car out early Saturday morning and ended up using some of the firewood provided to “MacGyver” our way out at 4am in the morning. Thank goodness we did not make a fire on the Friday evening 🤣

It is a peaceful place just a few minutes walk to The Dullstroom Inn and Mrs. Simpson. There is a fireplace (they even supply some wood), small fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Separate bedroom with electric blankets which are very welcome in winter. Spacious bathroom with double basin and shower. You can also sit outside in the garden.

Upon arrival we were shown the unit not much info were given about the car port. Pillow smelled like sweat. Tiles broken and covered with lose carpets. Pictures on bookings.com not accurate misleading.

It’s a lovely property. Each room has an identity of its own and the lady that greeted us upon arrival was friendly, helpful and made us all feel welcome. I would recommend this establishment to all who visit Dullstroom!

It was close enough to all the local restaurants but not near the main road which was lovely. The host was very easy to communicate with, and our place was cleaned daily which was unexpected.

The double shower head was a strange feature, as the one would spray on the floor and there wasn't a mop to clean it up with so we used a spare towel. Some of the windows didn't seal so when there was a fire close by, smoke leaked into the house and made some sections of the house really cold. Other than that, it was lovely.
