Reviewed Sep 9, 2026We had a lovely room with good bathroom and shower pressure in a quiet street only a short walk to the town centre. The breakfast was served by the very friendly hosts in another lovely room. I loved the owners art and they were the sweetest couple.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Adare was our 6th, and final B&B and our absolute favorite. The village has so much to offer and all within walking distance. Dinner at Pat Collin's Bar (reservations recommended) didn't disappoint and my husband and I enjoyed their Irish Stew along with their Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. It was a perfect ending to our long journey (1500 km/933 miles drive) and we wished we had stayed here two nights instead of one. The owners are a lovely couple. Be sure to check out her artwork displayed in the breakfast room/gallery. This was the only B&B that provided wash/face cloths, which is rare in Ireland; a minor detail that was appreciated.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Lovely, clean, a well kept time capsule with wonderful hosts. They do appreciate a by 9:00pm check in and that is not apparent on the initial Booking communication. It’s actually a good idea especially in summer because you then have plenty of daylight to go stroll the town and see everything without the crowds! Go back the next day after checkout to visit open establishments for shopping and interior of the historic priories and walk- through history tour inside the visitors center.
There is really nothing not to like. It is a bit of a time capsule but everything is in great shape and top notch quality and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious as are the en suite bathrooms and showers. Again, the hosts are lovely.

Would definitely stay again. Breakfast which good too. It’s not a cooked breakfast if that’s your thing but there was plenty of food and lots of choice

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Es ist authentisch - irisch und sehr stilvoll. Sehr zentral gelegen und doch ruhig und leise. Das Eigentümer- Ehepaar ist extrem nett. Das Frühstück ausgezeichnet.
Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, doch leider zieht sich die Hauptreiseroute durch den Ort. Das heißt das superschöne Städtchen ist laut und gestört von ununterbrochenem Durchzugsverkehr.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Adare Country House was very close to the little downtown area, so we could walk back and forth with no problem. Our room was ground level, which was very helpful. There was plenty of space for parking. The owners were very welcoming and hospitable.
Shower was dated and low pressure. A motion light kept coming on and off outside and disturbed my friend’s sleep. (I didn’t see a thing. lol)

It's an easy walk to the lively pub and beautiful city parks of the village, Adare. The expansive room made this B&B one of the most comfortable of the trip. We chose this being convenient to the airport, but I think a longer stay would be lovely.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Ein wunderbares und liebevoll ausgestattetes Country House. Eileen und Dennis haben uns mit einer außerordentlichen Freundlichkeit empfangen. Ihr Haus ist mit sehr schönen Kunstwerken ausgestattet und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es war die ruhigste Nacht unserer Irland-Reise, die wir dort hatten. Die Zimmer sind individuell ausgestattet und habe einen unglaublichen Charme, Es gibt einen Lese-/Aufenthaltsraum der sofort zum Ausruhen einlädt. Weiterhin durften wir ein sehr leckeres und frisches Frühstück genießen. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht hatten. Auf Eileens Empfehlung hin, waren wir im Pub von Pat Collins in der Ortsmitte, nur fünf Minuten zu laufen und hatten auch noch das beste Pub-Essen unserer 10 Tage Irland! Der kleine Ort Adare lädt zum Spaziergang ein und ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Many thanks to Eileen and Dennis for their great hospitality!

The location was ideal- so close to town, but on a quiet side road. We could get to town center walking in 5 minutes. The rooms were well anointed, and the sitting rooms were an added plus.
