Było bardzo głośno. W obiekcie zaraz na przeciwko każdej nocy do godziny 24 odbywały się imprezy. Ciężko było zasnąć i odpocząć. Obiekt zdecydowanie nie dla rodzin z dziećmi i osób dojrzałych. Ponadto nieprzyjemny zapach z kanalizacji w łazience. Pojawiło się też towarzystwo w postaci karalucha.

Vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt. Mooie lobby ruimte. Dikke plus het strand op 30 meter met volop snorkel en surf mogelijkheden.

Een vreemde lucht in de badkamer.

Habitación muy elegante, toda decorada en madera y muy agradable. Tiene una gran terraza para poder estar agusto. El hotel dispone de zonas comunes para desayunar y una zona de estar que son verdaderamente agradables durante el amanecer.

La habitación está poco aislada acústicamente por lo que es fácil que haya ruidos que te despierten durante la noche. Por otro lado, el baño está bastante bien en general, pero la ducha es bastante mejorable.

It was a beautiful space and comfortable small terrace in front of.

Cockroaches. Giant cockroaches. Administrator said that it's common situation for all the buildings on the island, but then we checked-in two different hotels beside - and there was no any cockroach. The pictures on booking.com don't show the reality - only a small piece of ocean you can see. Right in front of Iru - administrative buildings. You can see these buildings on pictures and there is no any actual information on the Iru profile about those pictures are not the part of the Iru. So I booked the room on 7 days, and the day we checked-in we left the Iru. Also there is no enough space for the the luggage stuff. And the bathroom facilities - not really correspond the pictures. So we burn our funds into the hole((( Anyway I express my gratitude tp the stuff - they refunded a small part of funds. And offered us a dinner into the nearby restaurant - but we declined it.

Staff molto disponibile in qualsiasi momento: gentili, amicali e cordiali. Ad ogni nostra richiesta sono stati pronti e servizievoli. Arredamento molto carino, in vero stile on the beach. Buona anche la posizione, non proprio sulla spiaggia ma a due passi. Inoltre proprio davanti c’è una spiaggia libera fornita di doccia e lettini!

Ahimè c’era un cattivo odore in bagno, e l’acqua non era dolce ma “dolcificata”, lasciando uno strano sapore leggermente salato.. (non potabile probabilmente) Nelle aree comuni c’erano veramente tante mosche, a detta del personale a causa del periodo monsonico.

We enjoyed staying at Iru, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially towards our baby! The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. It was so close to the beach and restaurants which was perfect for us. The room was always cleaned well.

The AC could have been stronger as even on the coolest setting the room was very warm and we struggled with that. There could have also been more storage space, e.g. wardrobe to hang clothes.

Je vidět, že už má ubytování dost za sebou. Interiér je ve stylu “Chata na pláži”. Jedna nízká skřínka na uložení všech věcí nestačí ani pro jednoho, natož pro rodinu. Ubytování je sice na pláži, ale ručník dostanete pouze do sprchy. Dotaz: “kde je ručník na pláž?” Odpověď :”neni”. Za 200$ na noc je to šílené.

The location was great, when I booked the pictures showed you could walk out / look out right into the beach, unfortunately there’s now a one level building in front that blocks the sea view. But it’s still only a few seconds walk to the bikini beach. When I was there the two bikes they provide for free were broken. However I saw them fixing them the day I left.

I liked the interior design of the guesthouse

I felt a few things were missing. I would have appreciated more flexibility with breakfast times (my request for 7:00 AM was declined). I was also surprised to find no beach towels provided, which is usually standard. Additionally, the room would benefit greatly from a small closet or chest of drawers, as there was nowhere to put my clothes.

Frühstück war gut, Service war zuvorkommend und waren hilfsbereit und nett, Hotel hat gut ausgesehen auch in den Zimmern.

Lage war zwar toll am Bikini Beach aber fast jeden Abend hatte es laute Musik in der Beachbar und auch hintendran mit Karaoke!

C’était parfait

L’établissement est magnifique, propre et parfaitement situé a 2 pas de la plage et est proche de tout. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse rare, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien décorées et confortables. Le petit-déjeuner propose des plats variés et délicieux. Les excursions (plongée, snorkeling, island tour) sont très bien organisées par des agences toute proche de l’hôtel. Idéal pour se détendre et profiter

I loved this accomodation. It is so cozy, nice and beautiful decorated. We had a room with balcony and view to the sea and I liked it a lot. It is in front of the bikini beach and close to the beach restaurants. The staff is nice, especially Kamal, who helped us with the speed boad from airport and with other information.

Kamal y los chicos que trabajan ahí son A1 ,excelentes personas ,Las instalaciones muy bonitas y decoradas ,cama muy cómoda,está muy cerca a la playa , y los desayunos son muy ricos .El hotel es muy acogedor ,espero regresar pronto .

Lovely room with a super comfortable bed, the room is spacious, along with a nice spacious shower room and a balcony area.

Arredata con cura e gusto sia la camera che la parte comune dove viene servita la colazione. Balcone con vista piacevole

Mentre il letto matrimoniale era comodo, il terzo letto era scomodissimo con un materasso sottile e mia figlia diceva che forse era più comoda sul pavimento direttamente… Odore di cibo che arriva in stanza dal ristorante nella via dietro

Posizione vicinissima alla bikini beach e le stanze sono ampie e molto belle e curate. Ottima la colazione e il transfer che ti porta da e al porto per prendere lo speed boat che collega l’isola a Male. Personale gentile e disponibile. Bella l’idea del boccione dell’acqua per avere sempre un refill per le bottigliette, anche da portare in spiaggia. La spiaggia ha sdraio libere a disposizione degli ospiti.

Un po’ di cattivi odori dal bagno. Viene fornito solo un asciugamano grande da doccia. Non c’era nessun supporto per stendere teli mare e costumi. Le tende non erano abbastanza oscuranti visto che il sole sorge molto presto la mattina (alle 6 ad agosto) e può essere migliore l’insonorizzazione acustica.

Het is een fijne accommodatie, goede service van de medewerkers, met slechts een paar kamers. Ontbijten doe je in de open ruimte. Kamers zijn ruim en het is vlakbij het strand. Op dit moment worden er ook huisjes geplaatst voor Iru, wat het directe uitzicht op zee verminderd. Ondanks dat, is het nog steeds slechts 30 meter lopen en je staat op het strand.

The general idea about the place and the decor was nice

I strongly believe they should invest in the bathroom and shower. It's the most important area of a room yet here the most weakest.

Locatie is prima op loopafstand van 2 bikini stranden, inrichting is mooi, ontbijt is goed.

Veel last van muggen en vliegen maar dat is eigenlijk overal op het eiland. Excursies worden aangeboden in dollar mocht je in een andere valuta willen betalen (euro of rufiyaa) dan berekenen ze belachelijk ongunstige wisselkoersen hiervoor.

Location was good…. Of the interior the decoration and all.

There was construction going on right in front of our hotel. There was very loud music. Rome was not soundproof and we had a problem with the air condition.

Staff from the hotel were really helpful all the way from booking until checking out. They helped us with booking the speed boat transfer, got picked up from the harbour, gave us lots of information during check-in to make the most of our stay, and then answered our queries throughout. I was a bit ill while I was there and they checked in a couple of times if we needed anything! Our room was facing bikini beach, so very easy to get up and stroll to the beach, but also close to all the cafes and restaurants in the "tourist" area.

The place was perfect for the two nights we stayed there for.

The hotel design / decoration is very nice. All the staff are exceptional and very helpful at any time of the day. Kamal, the manager, is just fantastic, and there is no issue with anything you ask for. Thank you, Kamal and everyone! Also, delicious breakfast and dinners per your choice.

The only downside, unfortunately, is that another ground-level hotel is being built right in front of Iru, which blocks the full view of the beach and the ocean. Now, only a few rooms have an ocean view, but there is still access to the beach, so it’s not a problem.

- On the ground floor, you need to keep the curtains closed at all times, making the room dark - Currently construction site across the road - No ventilation in the bathroom, making it very humid, nothing can dry - Too few hooks to hang stuff up - For the price, the facilities (e.g. shower head, mattress) seem subpar - We left at 7.30am on final day and no one was at reception when we left (no breakfast even though part of our booking)

We liked everything

The location of Iru is the best and just a walk away from the beach and water sports. The bed is very comfortable and the air con works a treat. The morning breakfast is great. We even asked for extra pillows are they were accomodating. A very peaceful stay.

The bathroom was a bit average with no fan or air flow. Water never got hot but was warm enough. A bit on the pricey side.

Lovely staff, they even prepared a bbq for us and cooked fish that we’d caught. Tastefully decorated and a short stroll to the beach. Tasty big breakfast

Water in the shower was quite smelly, maybe it’s the same for the whole island

Hospitality was awesome. Kamal helped us with transfer, luggage after checkout, info about the island. Room was very clean and quite spacious. It is very close to the beach. And thulusdhoo is really relaxing. Also some options for adventures.

Good location, but lots of refurb work right outside. Nice design on the interior, good breakfast.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great welcoming experience from the reception manager. Experienced unclear communication about payment with only cash… and overall not great, but the gentleman serving our breakfast was very kind throughout. Cleanliness also could have been a bit better.

The guesthouse is really really beautiful. The staff was super friendly and attentive. No complaints about them, as they did their best with what they were provided, always with a smile and positivity. The location is decent as it is very close to the beach. This is a place, if utilized correctly, will bring joy to the tourists.

The place is full of potential, and it's heartbreaking to see how underutilized it is. Even though it's supposed to be a 3-star place, I'm afraid it doesn't meet all the criteria. Keeping that aside, we were dumbfounded to enter the bathroom for it didn't have a showerhead. The cubicle of the shower does not fill the purpose at all. If you set the hand shower as a showerhead, the whole bathroom would get wet, defying the purpose of the shower cubicle. The placement of both the AC and the fan is weird which is why it takes a long time for the room to get cool. Moreover, there was space underneath the door which would let the air pass, and this is another reason why it would take longer for the room to get cool. The lighting is not adequate. You have to go to the bathroom to do your makeup, and by the time, you're done, your makeup would melt. There was no closet and only two hooks where you could hang your clothes. There was no tissue box or dustbin in the room either. It's weird to see that after paying such an amount, you'd have to ask for the bare minimums. The staff was very friendly, especially Mr. Kamal. However, when the resources are so scarce, there is only so much the staff can do! Overall, not worth the money. Certainly, it's a beautiful place, but the facilities have to be improved a lot!

Very clean, big rooms & really really nice staff! We felt very welcome and they even helped with contacting the next guesthouse when we had problems there. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was good, and you’re basically 1min away from the beach.

Lack of clothes hanging space. The shower heads were awkward. No mosquito nets in two of our rooms.

We weren’t happy about our stay .

For first thing the hotel charged us for green tax which is only to be collected from tourists . We also found a cockroach in room , we Informed the receptionist but we didn’t got any response until the next morning he said he was having a headache and slept which is super unprofessional . There are also no wardrobe, water kettle in room . The rooms are super dusty .

Best place on the island!

The room was nice as well as the balcony with the view.

Other guesthouse was having night party & dj just in fromt of our balcony, the music was very loud on one evening.

Absolutely loved everything about our stay at Irv. They looked after me and my friend so well and made us feel so welcome. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Loved the interiors and ambience

We loved every minute of staying at beautiful Iru! The location is outstanding, and the way the guest house is decorated really makes you feel like you are on holiday. The afternoon pizza snacks were a welcome surprise. We will definitely be back!!!!

The staff was great, kind and always available. The room was clean and very good looking. Breakfasts on the beach were amazing.

Outdoor areas could be improved with more and better sunbeds

I really loved the location and the cozy ambiance we had there, the woody / beach style they have it’s lovely. It’s just in front of the beach. The staff was really kind and smiling always willing to help.

We believe the Air conditioner is not working properly as the room was not cold enough to sleep comfortable during night , I think they need to invest on this matter.

Samura's little sister, a quiet place, close to bikini beach which is very nicely arranged. A more rustic design with quite a lot of wood, a perfect place for a few quiet days on the island, in a fairytale setting.

The shower, but it's just a small detail

The staff was very nice..always smiling n happy to help... the property is small n cute..just what we wanted..it is located right at the beach..we also booked a few excursions with the hotel staff which was great.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice garden with hammock in front of the property. Competitively priced excursions compared to the booths on the beach with 2 people (unless you are a larger group, in which case it is better to organize on your own).

Breakfast very European (Italian), although nicely served: fresh fruit, toast, egg. On request we got local Maldivian breakfast twice, but it would be good if we’d have choice from the beginning. The room has huge windows that face directly onto the street, which means that passersby have a direct view of the room, there is not much privacy. The island is undergoing renovation work, which means you can hear the digger plus for most of our stay the beach directly next to the property was unusable by the ditched sand. The hotel needs renovation (plaster falling off the walls etc). Very small bed for 2 persons.

When you arrive to Male you catch the speedboat - Iru will book for you place on the public one (cost 25$/person) or private one (cost 65$/person).From Male its cca30min, they will organize also transport from jetty to the guesthouse. All worked very well. Iru its small guesthouse – 5 rooms, its nice and simple – don’t expect luxury known from resort islands. As we decided on purpose we really like the place. We had room nr 1 on the floor. Room is big enough – to sleep and rest. If you don’t come with 5 big luggage’s you will manage to keep your clothes, snorkeling and other equipment. Bed had good mattress and pillows. Room has good size balcony with nice view. At balcony you have place to dry the towels, remember for the beach you can always borrow it at the reception. We had no issue with Wi-Fi signal in the room nor with the water pressure in the shower also no issue with cleanliness or wet floor in the room. Breakfast was ok -if you want to change smth don’t be afraid to ask. You can also order the dinner- we tried it and was very good. Both served on the beach or in the lobby. Guesthouse is located next to one of the 2 bikini beach’s on the island. Infront of the entrance there is small 2m wide “road”. We went and returned to the room in “ready to swim” mode. We enjoyed more the bikini beach on the other side of the islands. I run around the island-its 5km circuit. If you compare with Europe public beach in Mediterranean Sea it was empty – on the full beach 50 people, 25 in the water. We took the half day trip to an abandon island –nice– few snorkeling trips and try to see dolphins. What’s the best in IRU is Kamal and his team. Kamal is great, keep on smiling all the time, always helpful. On the first day he explained the rules – breakfast, towels, etc. - as well as gave us interesting tips on what to do or local restaurants. Kamal and the team made us feel very welcomed. We had great time and would come back. Thanks Kamal

Only bad point we had – was the “disco” night organized at nearby bar. Guys run the speakers full power like on the concert – really loudly. Luckily its done not often. On that day plan an evening out :) This kind of “disco nights” were run in several different places of the island - honestly a bit strange for me. You don’t go to Maldives for club nights. But maybe I’m wrong. One general remark on inhabited islands local have issue with cleanliness and organizing things – had feeling that things were dropped and left in completely random way. A pity as surroundings are amazing.

Nothing :) only thing I was wondering is why there aren’t any sun beds on their beach strip or why they didn’t do more with all that space in front of the hotel.

Comfortable rooms, great location and very friendly staff! The activities scheduled are a must! This small guest house became our home in Thulushdoo for 3 days. Here we met very nice people and spent unforgettable moments together!

Maybe rooms need some renovation and small adjustment. In our deluxe the shower was a bid annoying due to a bad installation of the siphon, on the 2nd day the sink was flooding and was a bad smell from the toilet. Nice balcony bur not with the sea view I meant - there are couple of meters separating the property from the beach and lots of palm trees and tropical vegetation around (nothing wrong with that just giving a more appropriate description of the room won’t disappoint guests at their arrival ;)

We loved Iru Maldives. The staff were attentive and very friendly and also very helpful with anything we needed. It is located right in front of bikini beach and walking distance to all the eateries. The breakfast was simple but fresh and always delicious with fruits, eggs, toast, etc. There are so many activities to do nearby and it is very beautiful. The guesthouse has beautiful decoration and is very well maintained. We would definitely recommend and also return.

The pressure of the shower could've been a little better in our room and the shower head attachment to the wall was broken. Some hooks in the rooms to hang wet clothes and towels would be a good extra. Everything else was really great.

The hotel is not located directly at the beach front, as the images would suggest. There is a small street between the hotel and the beachfront. Therefore, while the room at the ground floor room is very nice and easily accessible, there is not a lot of privacy as people walk by and can look right into your room. Would be great if the terrace would be more sheltered with plants.

The staff is exquisite and very helpful, always friendly and eager to please with a smile👌👌👌

Cute little guest house with beautiful interior close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay at Iru a lot. Kamal, the manager, was very helpful from start to finish and also the other staff were very kind. Breakfast was tasty and contained lots of fruits. The guesthouse is only a few steps (literally!) away from the bikini beach. Would definitely recommend! :-)

Only two minor things to notice: 1) The shower (head) doesn’t really match the standard of the rest of the room. It’s old, there’s only cold water and it doesn’t have much pressure. Also the shower could be a little cleaner. 2) There’s a unpleasant odor in the bathroom coming from the drains.
