The only thing for us personally is that we were upstairs which took a toll on my back.

NO screens on the bathroom vent/windows, maybe upgrade blind in bedroom window & shower.

Our third stay at this unique and beautiful hotel. The view over the ocean is spectacular. Staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Rooms are white, bright and clean and have a Grecian feel!

The mattresses on the sun loungers need an upgrade. Not a huge deal, but they are uncomfortable as they are sitting on concrete and have become quite thin.

Great breakfast and restaurant food. Perfect location to snorkel and swim, lots of restaurants/Warungs to eat at in walking distance. Quiet comfortable rooms.

Very remote from Amed centre, can't use grab app or gojek app. However, hotel staff can get you a taxi back to your next destination.

Lovely aspect overlooking the beach. Really nice to be able to walk down a few stairs to the beach to snorkel. Food was good in the restaurant. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were airy and clean. Pool is lovely. Had a fantastic few massages. The ladies were truly amazing.

Not a negative at all, but can get pretty hot around the pool in the afternoon as there is not much tree shade. But nothing to complain about. The place is lovely.

Gorgeous views of the ocean, swimming pool with day beds, lovely clean rooms, breakfast was amazing and meals if you eat in are fabulous. Staff friendly and the owner is a very special man. Loved our time here and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

It's far from the main part of Amed, in a calm, small bay, right above the water. It's very calm and quiet during night, you can sleep for the sound of the waves. Room is confortable, clean and spacious. Aircon is super quiet and effective. The small restaurant is very good, staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and the view is magnificient. It was hard to leave.

Relaxing by the pool enjoying the view and being looked after by lovely happy staff. Just 4 rooms and my friends and 1 had 3 so we felt like we had the place to ourselves.

This is an absolute gem of a property in Amed. There are only 4 rooms and it looks out directly on to the sea, looking up the coast. This means that you can sit in the pool or in your own personal cabana and view an absolutely spectacular sunset show. The rooms are lovely and clean, a well-stocked mini-bar and the shower has one of the best views of any shower I have seen in my travels! The food at dinner was very tasty, there is wine to buy for a reasonable cost and the staff are very helpful. There are also a few cats that come to say hello as well. You walk directly down to the beach to swim in the sea, but the sunset view is what makes this place so special. We would definitely come back.

The property is stunning! This is my second time staying here and we wish we could have stayed longer. The food was great, staff were super friendly and kind, everything was totally perfect. The room has a really cute balcony where you can watch the sunset or sip your coffee early in the morning. Bed was comfortable enough and the place was super clean and well kept. Definitely recommend:)

The proximity to the beach to snorkel was the best. Every day we noticed different varieties of fish and even a turtle. The view, staff, food was all impeccable.

Alles an dieser Unterkunft war super! Die Lage ein Traum, direkt über der meiner Meinung nach besten Bucht zum Schnorcheln in Amed. Das Wasser war sehr klar, viele schöne Korallen und Fische. Ein schöner Pool mit Sonnenbetten direkt über dem Meer und die Aussicht vom Balkon und Frühstücksbereich machten unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und lecker, die Zimmer sauber und das Personal freundlich. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben aber haben leider die nächste Station schon gebucht gehabt. Auch die zwei Warungs in der Nähe (Green Melon und Ibus Sea View Warung) sind fußläufig erreichbar und sehr gut. Für Taucher können wir die White Sand Divers Amed empfehlen, die uns von der Unterkunft abholten und wieder zurück brachten. Alles unkompliziert, wir brauchten nicht mal einen Roller ausborgen, wäre aber auch über die Unterkunft möglich. Können diese Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen und würden sofort wieder hier übernachten!

Location location location! 10 minutes north of the main Amed town, the property hugs the cliff looking over Selang Beach. Out accommodation had see views, and the pool overlooks the bay.

I love this hotel and it’s t really is in a great spot, with a shop and restaurants close by. Good beach access, with good snorkelling at the front of the hotel. The staff are lovely. The views are amazing. This was my second stay here and it won’t be the last. Also feels very safe for solo travellers.

La vue est incroyable et apaisante. La chambre offre tout le nécessaire, sans superflu. Le personnel est d’une attention remarquable et toujours prêt à aider. La piscine, douce et agréable, permet de se détendre pleinement après une longue journée. Le restaurant est très bon et offre un large choix !

The view was exceptional. The pool and lounge area sublime. The restaurant fabulous fresh food and service. Great value. The ability to go snorkling off the beach was a highlight.

We absolutely loved our stay at AquaTerrace. Set at the quieter end of town, the breathtaking ocean views made it such a special place to unwind. The infinity pool was stunning, and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The staff were wonderful — so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. AquaTerrace was the perfect place to stay — we truly didn’t want to leave! The Japanese cuisine at the restaurant was delicious, and the snorkeling right out the front was amazing. It’s handy to have a scooter if you want to explore, but there are also some great local warungs just a short walk away.

The hand-held shower was positioned quite low, it would have been preferable to have a shower rose to stand under while looking at that magnificent view from the bathroom.

Loved the close proximity of the the pool, the sunbeds and restaurant. Loved the infinity pool. Loved the food at the restaurant.

Every now and then we stumble upon a place where everything clicks and feels perfect. Place where you can stay for ever, where your mind, body and soul are repairing each day! As you enter the property you’ll be welcomed by the magnificent view of a traditional fisherman’s village, spreading along a little bay and the clear, warm waters. Boats lined across and only few people in sight. That changes every morning with the return of little boats at full sail, rushing to get back and sell today’s catch to the fish merchants. Every morning you can witness this magnificent view from the comfort of your private balcony. You can be eating your delicious breakfast, delivered to your room or enjoying your Balinese coffee from your private sun-bed. There’s two building each containing two rooms. One upstairs and one on the lower floor. Only four in the premises. Boutique at its finest. Rooms are extremely comfortable, providing you with a big comfortable bed, very modern, quirky bathroom, the size of European lounge room :) and another bench bed to sit or rest. Air-condition was quote and efficient giving you the chance to hear the crushing waves below you. Aquaterrace also has a restaurant. Open all day and provide delicious food. From traditional Balinese to Japanese infused recipes that will surprise the fussiest customers. Cocktails are also on offer and even limited in variety, they were surprisingly good. Staff members were unbelievably nice and pleasant, eager to help with a smile, yet very professional. Owner is also there daily, making sure that everyone is provided with the deserved care and having a pleasant stay. They can also assist with additional activities and excursions. However, the location of Aquaterrace is second to none if you like to swim in a tropical oasis. The warm waters will give you hours of snorkeling with hundreds of tropical fish and coral formation. The whole bay is a coral reef.

Hotel was beautiful, in a quiet local spot with excellent snorkeling, spa, pool, and restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - they felt like family after 4 days.

The only downside was that there were some ants around the room and one bit my partner 😅 For some it might be too far away - you need to take a car or hire a scooter (or stay in the hotel and enjoy it!). These things are all worth it though.

Everything about Aquaterrace was outstanding! It is in a beautiful location, we loved the pool and cabañas, fabulous spa services, lovely rooms and balconies, food and drinks were excellent and the staff are all very friendly, efficient and caring! A wonderful stay!

The food in the restaurant was very good. All the staff are great. A really good breakfast with a big choice of everything. The views are awesome. We really didn’t want to leave.

Wir hatten einmal einen Bootsausflug zum Fischen über das Hotel gebucht, welcher leider ein Reinfall war. Der Fischer konnte kein Wort englisch und wir kaum Fische gefangen… das hätten wir uns sparen können - hier vlt tatsächlich über dafür spezialisierte Anbieter buchen.

Ein wahr gewordener Traum! Dieses Hotel ist ein kleines Paradies – traumhaft gelegen mit atemberaubendem Blick auf das Meer. Besonders morgens ist es ein Highlight, die Rückkehr der Fischer zu beobachten – ein wunderschönes, authentisches Erlebnis. Die ruhige Lage etwas abseits macht es zum perfekten Ort, um vollkommen zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und stets schnell zur Stelle, wenn man etwas braucht – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ein Genuss für alle Sinne – frisch, abwechslungsreich und begleitet vom Meeresrauschen. Auch die Massage war eine Wohltat, und die angebotenen Aktivitäten wie Schnorcheln oder die romantische Sunset-Tour sind absolut empfehlenswert. Kurz gesagt: Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen garantiert wieder! 🌊

Le personnel, la cadre idyllique, les chambres avec vue sur mer tout était parfait un petit coin de paradis. Vous êtes à deux pas de la plage où nous avons pu faire du snorkeling.

This is a beautiful, comfortable, cared-for place. The room was as delicious as the views. It was hard to pull myself away from my balcony daybed, but a swim in the gorgeous pool was worth it. I highly recommend the rose facial at the day spa (or any treatment, really!) - perfection. I also really enjoyed my tonkatsu dish on my first night's stay. The other night I wandered down the road to the Green Melon waryung and couldn't get enough of the pork ribs and satay rolls. So good! Don't miss a trip to Aquaterrace.

EVERYTHING! The view is incredible, the pool is perfect. We loved the sunbed/day bed area. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful, kind and they work really hard to make this such a special place. I have travelled to over 60 countries and this is my favourite place ever. My young children were treated so kindly by the staff. The area smells amazing, rooms are clean, lovely little personal touches. I loved that we could have our food served on our balcony and even in the pool. The float up breakfast and the pool were my children's best parts of Bali! The staff helped us to book taxis and hired us snorkelling gear. The food was also delicious. Thank you Aqua Terrace. I usually never return to a country once I have visited it but I will definitely come back here!

We fell in love with this place. What a slice of paradise! Incredible ocean views, the sweetest and most accomodating staff and an incredible price. Amed is amazing and this was the best place to enjoy it. Easy walking to the beach and so incredibly peaceful just enjoying the water and lots of pool swims. Idyllic. Already dreaming about returning. Sending a WhatsApp message for breakfast each day was so fun. The staff organised things like fishing and snorkelling gear. And the massage w ocean views was bliss. We really really loved this place! What a gem

Nothing. For a three star place it’s a five star experience. Yes the buildings are older but it’s so clean and just so pretty. They are renovating some of it later in the year.

Nous voyageons en couple et un enfant, nous avons trouvé la vue exceptionnelle. Le personnel très disponible, toujours souriant et gentil. La chambre était impeccable, la douche à l’italienne vue sur la mer un bijou, La literie était bonne. La possibilité de manger et/ou de petit déjeuner face à la mer depuis notre balcon nous a tous séduit. Les repas étaient frais et bons, le petit déjeuner bien copieux.

We truly loved our stay at Aquaterrace. We stayed 5 nights. Our room is well decorated, big, clean with a beautiful view. Their breakfast is just a delight. The staff: always there to help.

- The view is stunning and the sunrise is worth waking up early. - Strawberry milkshake is delicious. - Only 3min from the Japanese Shipwreck. - Staff was very friendly, supportive and accomodating.

- Property can do with some refreshed paint but overall we loved the stay and would highly recommend
