Very nice roof top terrace and helpful host! Nicely renovated riad and good breakfast made by lovely ladies.
The ac was a too small for a big (which is great) room. When arriving at night it is not so easy to find but they come to find you.
Riad carino con una bella terrazza. Staff gentile.
Amazing building, history in every wall. The bigger rooms are like suites. Dining area was magnificent, breakfast was also decent. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
-
The building in general was absolutely stunning! We were welcomed by a very friendly gentlemen that gave us a tour of the hotel and the room, as well as showing us the amazing view from the rooftop, pointing out his favorite places in the city to us. He helped us replace the batteries in the air conditioning remote even through it was very late at night. The stained glass windows were amazing! We felt very welcome, the room was quiet and had good views out of the windows.
However much the staff were very friendly and the building was lovely with great views etc. - the room we were given was not the room we chose on booking.com. It was much smaller and wasn't shown in any of the pictures on the listing. The interior decoration was very different to the pictures too. All that said, the value for money was very good.
The property was in a great location in the Medina and such beautiful rooms
Heel mooi!!

Central location
Found the air a bit stale at night time
Lied about room which we will get. Booked room with windows upstairs, offered us living next to dining area without isolation from people dining. And were mad at us for disliking room. Told us that pictures are just for booking and not corelate with real situation
The riad was stunning — traditional Moroccan architecture and decor throughout, with beautifully tiled courtyards and ornate details. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make the stay special. Perfectly located for exploring the medina, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. Mr Khaled and Mr Hassan, thank you kindly for providing information and recommendations.
Nothing at all — everything exceeded expectations.
The riad was beautiful, great value for money. Freshly cooked meals, very helpful staff in great location .
Owner welcoming and helpful. Booked us a tour and a spa
When you open the front door you see electric wire and cables on floor. A big safety hazard my husband tripped twice on them. We were not supplied with towels when we mentioned this the owner said the girl should have put towels in our room. We would get some later in the day. He did not go and get us some. We did not receive all our breakfast on the second morning. Some of our bathroom was in poor condition
Room was authentic, but cosy and light. There was a balcony opens into riad, not outside on the street. Convenient location close to city center and restaurants. The terrace view is the top, we were able to watch sunrise and sunset there, I’ve attached photos from the terrace. Good water pressure and convenient bed made this accommodation the perfect stay after the trip to Merzouga.
Breakfast was without vegetables and with only one egg as a protein source.
The property was very good and very clean , the staff is wonderful and Khalid the owner he’s so nice and helpful.
great stay with excellent location .the room was big with a fantastic shower wifi works good and breakfast was also good
Rooms are perfect and staff is amazing!
Khalid and Hassan have been great hosts! Historical structure and calm patio are great for a quiet time out of the hustle of the Medina Position is convenient since it is close to Medina buzz and main attractions, but also 5 mins to the external gate where taxis can arrive
Caring some small details and finishing in the room and bathroom will bring this riad to the next level up
The location was perfect and the staff was very kind! We really enjoyed the breakfast.
Beautiful place and we had a room with a bath
Nothing
The riad is stunning—full of authentic Moroccan charm with beautiful tilework and a peaceful courtyard. The staff were welcoming and made our short stay feel special. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the location in the heart of the medina made exploring Fes easy.
The only downside was that the bathroom toilet seat was broken, which made it a bit uncomfortable.
Location, rooms, breakfast
Air conditioner was slow
Beautiful traditional styled rooms in a nicely located Riad. Amazing view from the rooftop, nice staff, good price.
Breakfast is bestly described as ‘boring’. Tasteful but the same everyday and arguably not really as fresh as you can get. Fruit would be a nice extra touch. No airco in community spaces.
Top located in the middle of the Medina. Roominess and a very historical touch of the house. Good pillows (never unter estimate pillows for a good sleep). The owner was friendly to me.
The house doesn’t felt maintained and a bit dusty. Staff was not present and besides the owner not speaking English (but worked). But by all the critics, the price was really fair in relation to that, I got a very good stay.
Everything is so good
Great raid in the medina! Truly a place of rest in the busy centre of Fes. Breakfast was excellent! They're coffee is fantastic with just a hint of cinnamon. Rooms were nice and clean. This riad offers excellent value.
Not the hotels fault, but we seemed to be in a rough part of the medina. Make sure you're comfortable with busy medinas!
Wonderful experience with a very kind and available guest! Khalid was just perfect before our arrival until the end of our journey! About the riadh, simple and luxurious in the same time. You feel the history of the place from the decorations and the architecture. As you feel like home you really feel the spirit of the place. Perfectly located in the médina it allows you to enjoy the energy of the medina and also quick exit to the excursions around Fès. One single regret, why our stay wasn't longer!
Nothing
It’s pretty We didn’t meet the owner but luckily he was quick to pick up the phone when we were lost. I recommend saving his number and asking him for instructions to get to the riad
The location is in a very sketchy part of the Medina, 20 mins walk from the blue gate and if you’re not on the shopping streets it’s not nice. Also the riad isn’t where Google maps shows, it’s actually around the block The mattres was rock hard Very noisy, easy to hear what all the guests are doing We only had hot water on the second night
Pretty Riad. Good prices. Friendly and professional staff. Definitely recommend.
The owner is very kind, staff is great and will make sure that you have everything that you need.
- comfortable bed - beautiful decorations and design - big room - friendly staff (our receptionist - Yorri was very nice) - nice authentic atmosphere - good breakfast - hot water and good water pressure
- unfortunately the location isn’t tourist friendly (it’s more of a local people place and they were staring at my girlfriend and shouting things - even though she had a long dress and shirt so she was dressed modestly); you can’t really walk on the streets in the evening. I would definitely not recommend it to solo women travelers or even couples. There was also a lot of garbage on the streets and bad smell - the room needs a bit of a renovation especially in the bathroom - there are exposed wires right above the shower (there is no lamp just a light bulb hanging); the water was leaking non stop from our toilet (we had to always close the water valve after flushing)
Beautifully restored riad with friendly staff and easily accessible via bab guissa. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were always super friendly and helpful. The riad is also located in a less touristy area of fes medina.. So you will get to see genuine medina life around you as well. The rooms are large enough to fit a family of four even though we were only 2.
The riad is very nice, authentic and nicely decorated. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The room is so well decorated and spacious, bathroom and shower are nice, but toilet was a bit smelly sometimes. Room is cleaned every day, which is great. Breakfast is freshly made, rich, and nice.
Location-wise, it is easy to reach from Medina gates, but the area is not touristy so could look a bit dodgy for some people. It is NOT easy to go around the medina, and there are not many restaurants or touristy places nearby. However, this is something we enjoyed, but we are aware some people may not.
Of all the hotels I've stayed in Morocco, this was the easiest to find. If you park in the parking lot closest to the hotel, you will see signs with the name of the hotel on the walls of the buildings along the way. The riad is very beautiful and suitable for your perfect instagram photos. Our room for three was very spacious, it had a double bed and two single beds. The breakfast was modest: a very buttery omelet, tortillas and juice.
There was a lack of cleanliness in some places. The bedroom was dirty under the bed, and there were cobwebs in one corner of the bathroom. The bed also smelled of dust.
I gave a lower rating because I believe there are still some details that need improvement in order to make the stay truly excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated in an authentic style, which we really appreciated. However, we didn’t like the bathroom—the smell from the drainage was noticeable, likely due to poor plumbing. Also, the shower screen could really use a proper cleaning or even replacement. The young man and woman working there were both friendly and smiling—kudos to them for their kindness and hospitality. What we disliked the most was that breakfast starts only at 9 AM. On our last morning, we couldn’t even have breakfast because we had to leave earlier. I think this is a big mistake, especially for tourists who usually head out early in the morning.
It was a nice experience to be here. The common area is exceptionally Beautiful. Location is also good to go all the attractions. Breakfast was Superb. We also had dinner there and liked that too. But the best thing was HAMZA, he is really best at what he is doing. He took a great care of us. Highly recommended Riad, a great value of Money.
Nothing, Honestly.
This riad is very beautiful and big. It’s clean inside and comfortable. Also, location is very good! You can contact with the owner before the arrival and ask questions via WhatsApp. The owner and staff here helped us a lot even in late at night and early in the morning when we were in trouble🥹 Thank you very much!! I’ll come back here when I travel in Fes again 😊
Hamza made our stay very special with his hospitality
Lovely Riad with some room for improvement around washroom facilities , lovely breakfast , kind and helpful staff, overall a very pleasant stay and well recommended
Washrooms needs some attention
Very gorgeous riad in the heart of the medina. To my untrained eye, the handiwork in these morroccan riads is almost as beautiful at some of the temples we visited. The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. Escorting us around the medina so we wouldn’t get lost. Letting us know how much we should get charged by taxi’s so we don’t get ripped off.
We were there for such a short time, but it felt impossible to find your way around from the riad and needed a guide every single time we left the hotel. I usually have a pretty good sense of direction and google maps but neither of those seemed to help me here. The path there had quite a few ups and downs for those who have mobility issues. Also the men in Fes medina were definitely more sketchy than those in Marrakech.
The greatest and most beautiful Riad in Fes. Stay there for wonderful location, friendly staff and rooftop.
The location was great. Hamza was very kind and welcoming.
We really liked staying here! The riad is located right in the Medina but it still feels very private. We got clear instructions how to get to the place but Hamza still met us at the Medina entrance so we didn’t get lost first time there. We loved the hospitality of the hosts and simple but warming slow breakfasts. It was so enjoyable to finish our long day on the terrace watching the sunset. Staying there was a big part of enjoying the city!
