Reviewed Sep 19, 2026- host Yani was always readily available on WhatsApp. She helped us clear our queries in very efficient manner. She was very kind and offered me scooter ride till main road for cab as I had ankle sprain. It was a very sweet gesture. - very close to harbour. Although harbour folks don’t let online taxis to come for pick up. One has to walk till Dunkin Donuts to get gojek cabs. I had sprained my ankle so took motorbike available at harbour for drop, costed around 30k. One can also walk to the property by crossing the main road. - kitchen was open to cook - water could be refilled from filtered water can provided in kitchen - have many cute dogs at property. I played with them as I couldn’t move around much due to injury ! - room is spacious and has good natural light
- pillows were very uncomfortable and I had to choose to not use them ultimately - quilt was tad bit old and musty - one of the desks in room was well past its time. Seemed infected by termites. - room could use some more maintenance but not too bad

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Very good budget accommodation, an easy walk to the beach. Exceptional value, we are now using it as our base in Bali, as it is easy to get to the islands from there. Yani the host was very accommodating with luggage storage and late checkout, and having a pool and common kitchen were added bonuses.
Nothing to speak of. It’s accessed in a small laneway, but Yani provides detailed instructions on how to get there.

Le bruit des alentours, des chiens de la propriétaire et du manque d'isolation de la chambre nous ont empêché de dormir. J'étais très surprise des avis que je consultais en pleine nuit pour voir si nous avions loupé quelque chose mais les commentaires précédents ne peuvent qu'être issus de personnes qui passent pour un point de dépôt d'une nuit et repartent. La piscine pourrait être un plus si elle était plus entretenue.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Wir haben dort eine Nacht verbracht, um am nächsten Tag die Fähre zu den Gilis zu nehmen. Die Location ist perfekt. Wir kamen leider erst um 22 Uhr an und die nette Besitzerin hat auf uns gewartet. Das Bett war tierisch bequem und es gibt eine Küche mit Kaffee und Tee. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Perfect for an overnight stop before getting the boat in the morning. Yani is super lovely,friendly and helpful. It's basic, you're not paying for luxury, but the place was immaculatly clean and bed was comfy after a long flight.
For budget accommodation we wouldnt expect anything more, great place.

The pool is nice and clean and there is a communal kitchen. The busy main road is easy to cross once you get used to it.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Unbeatable location: just a 5-minute walk to Sanur Harbor for the fast boat to Nusa Penida. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful stay despite being close to the main road. Great value for money with budget-friendly rates. Excellent shared kitchen equipped with a large fridge, sink, free coffee/tea, and an espresso machine. Outstanding hospitality from host Yani: extremely responsive, friendly, kind, and supportive. Complimentary luggage storage service while visiting Nusa Penida overnight. Spotlessly clean rooms, fresh towels, and crisp bed linens. Effective, well-functioning air conditioning. Family-friendly service (accommodated our request for adjacent rooms for us and the kids). Mid-sized swimming pool available on site.
Very compact bathroom with limited ventilation. Open shower layout without a partition, making it tricky to keep the toilet and sink area dry. No breakfast provided on site (though the shared kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering).

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The room is big, bed is comfy and the stuff is super nice. We stayed here only one night and took the speedboat the next day. Location is great if you want to stay close to Sanur harbour.
The only problem was that the air conditioning was pretty noisy, I had to sleep with hear plugs.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Short Grab from the hotel, especially convenient if you want to catch a ferry to nearby islands as the port is just across the road! Exceptionally clean. Just send a what’s app message to the host and she will come to reception to check you in and help you plan your stay!
Dogs barking and roosters making sounds early in the morning. Didn’t really bother me but definitely worth noting.

Розташування чудове, особливо якщо ви плануєте користуватися найближчим портом Санур, який знаходиться лише за 200 метрів — це зробило нашу поїздку неймовірно зручною. Проте те, що зробило наш відпочинок справді особливим, — це власниця. Вона абсолютно чудова людина, неймовірно добра і завжди готова допомогти з усім, що нам було потрібно. Її гостинність змусила нас почуватися як удома. Ми щиро насолоджувалися часом, проведеним тут, і дуже рекомендуємо це місце кожному!

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Umah Bagus was a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Its location is very convenient, only about a 10–15 minute walk to Sanur Harbour, which made catching the ferry easy. A special thanks to Yani, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Her hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great place to stay, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sanur.
The only minor downside is that the road leading from the main road to the property is quite dark at night, so I had to use my phone's flashlight. This isn't an issue with Umah Bagus itself, just something future guests should be aware of.

Only minor thing is the shower didn't stay warm for very long, but honestly with how hot it is, that barely even matters! Would come back again :)

C’est également facile d’accès pour aller rejoindre le piétonnier le long de l’océan pour y faire un jogging. Le lever du soleil est incroyable L’hôte est très gentille et il y a des boissons à disposition La piscine est super mignonne et rafraîchissante surtout après un long voyage ou une longue journée Je recommande vivement
