Our 2-night stay was wonderful! The host was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful — helping us carry our luggage upstairs and even helping us to our Didi when it was raining heavily. They also shared great tips about attractions in Dali. The electric blanket and heater kept us perfectly warm on the chilly nights. The location is excellent, very close to the ancient town, night market, and a Lanzhou beef noodles (halal) restaurant with delicious and affordable food. We also met a few Indonesian travellers who were very friendly and helpful. We really appreciate it—thank you so much!

Location is very good..walkable to ancient city and many restaurants...owner is very kind and helpful. We lost our passport and we Couldnt comminicate well with driver due to language barrier. But hotel owner helped us until we found our passport. Thanks to him

Location was perfect, owner was kind & helpful. He gave us some recommendations for halal food despite the language barrier. The rooftop has a stunning view!

Cleanliness could have been better esp the toilet but ok if you dont spend much time in the room.

The owner of the hotel was very nice; he even helped us get a taxi. The room was also pretty good and the beds were comfortable. It was near the old town too.

We loved our stay! We stayed for 5 nights and it was fantastic! The owner is very friendly. Room was very comfortable and clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Location is unbeatable and very quiet at the same time! Highly recommended!

The Inn is so lovely, and the location is perfect. It's very quiet there at night, but in just a few minutes walking you are in the heart of Dali Old Town!

It’s totally great to stay there There’s a man welcoming us till we leave is willing to help us in anyway.. really i highly recommend this hotel for u guys whose come to Dali.

I loved everything! This is a very nice place, the rooms are clean and big, same for the bathroom! I loved also the common area, the location is close to the main attractions and the bus station but in a very quiet alley. The owner is a very good person, he helped me a lot, he is a very friendly person! Thank you very much for the good memories! I can't wait to come back!

Right next to the old city. The manager was very helpful and the rooms were amazing. It was calm.

The owner is so friendly and helpful! The design of the courtyard is very cute and welcoming with plants, couches and things to look at. The rooms are huge! It's in a great location, walking distance to everything you need and down a little alley and easy to find.

The location is good, near to all amenities, the owner is very friendly and there is a place at the rooftop to watch sunrise. Room is clean and comfortable. There is 2 adorable cats in the hotel but they only roam at ground floor.

Super friendly owner, great location just outside of the ancient town which makes it silent for sleeping. They also have washing machine and you can hang your clothes to dry. The room is spacious.

Quite comfortable and near shops and good location

Well located; not far from wayin gate, in the middle of shops and restaurants, yet the old town, though clearly restored, was also easily available. Lively street life . Aloof catsa would accept a pat and a scritch, but found the local squirrels more of an interest.

Minimal Housekeeping. Problems paying by credit card meant I had to get the receptionist to take me to a ATM to get cash. The town is a chinese tourist destination and english on the tours can be a challenge. None the less there were foreign tourists here and about, About 50 K from the fast train station (500Yuan by taxi).

Clean room, location is about 10 minutes walk to the one of the gates of the ancient city.

Staff was only there during check-in and check-out times. This was not really a big issue, just slightly hard if you have questions/requests during your stay.

The owner was nice and he had two very cute cats. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The location was very close to the old town.

Good concept

On arrival could not check-in. Supposedly check-in 12pm. Room not done. Unlucky that no electricity till 8pm on that day due to thunderstorm. We were out the whole afternoon and only checked in at 9pm!

Excellent location - right in the middle of the night time action. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave advice on maximising our time here at minimal cost and helped to arrange onward transport to Lijiang.

the property looked a bit abandoned. The cleanliness of the rooms could have been definitely better, none seems to have cleaned under the bed in ages, where trash from previous guests can be founded.

Very close to the Ancient Town. The owner/manager was usually available and helpful, otherwise he returned messages quickly if he was out. A very laid back vibe with some cool artwork.

Unless I was doing something wrong, it was difficult to get hot water in the sink and the heating was not very strong from the vents.

Location is convenient, owner is friendly and helpful and his cats are cue.

Water took too long to warm up and no daily clean up during the stay.

The hostel is very well located very close to East gate. It is at the end of a small alley so it is very quiet. Also not far from the bus station for Xizhou and Shuanglang. The host was friendly and very helpful with downloading maps and sending me directions and recommendations for places to visit. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything needed!

Very convenient location. It's only a short less than one km walk to main bus stops (both south gate and East gate where one of the airport coach stop is at). Very short walk to night market stalls at Erhai gate.
