Reviewed Sep 17, 2026My room was nice as it had a balcony with great view of the mountains, has a fridge and a kettle and nice simple breakfast and a small pool. Very good value for my money. Internet worked well overall had 2 slow days but was expected. Common balcony with hammocks were nice as well.
The balcony door needs a screen to protect from mosquitos and others as i had to sleep 2 nights with the door open due to power outages 2/5 nights.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026It's good value for money and the breakfast was very tasty. The location is also great and only short walk away from the centre of town.
There was a power cut every night and at one point the power was out for 12hours, which also meant no WiFi. Of course that's not the properties fault, but some places in the area have generators as a contingency. We also had no hot water. It's very warm outside, so it wasn't much of an issue for us, but we feel like it should be mentioned.

Pas de petit frigo pour les bouteilles d'eau. La terrasse du haut Pas accessible. Le petit déjeuner sans choix possible à part les boissons chaudes.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Personal que te da todas las facilidades que necesita el turista: usa la cocina, microondas, nevera, deja el equipaje, flexibilidad horaria … La habitación tiene detalles que no tienen otros sitios en Colombia como espejos, armarios, todos los útiles del baño y un buen aire acondicionado que está encendido antes de que llegues. La piscina y patio son un lugar genial para estar un rato tranquilos. Además, están intentando mejorar con algunos arreglos y crecimiento del negocio. Gracias por la hospitalidad!!

La petite piscine chauffée fait un bien fou après une longue journée de marche, et le restaurant de l'hôtel est vraiment excellent.

We did a bird watching tour with guide that left his contact at the hotel and it was AMAZING ! Also minca is a pretty safe city really comfy and not really touristic.

Schreckliche Dusche. Kein Wasserdruck und nur kaltes Wasser. (Der auf booking abgebildete elektrische Warmwasserduschkopf wurde zumindest in meinem Zimmer durch einen normalen Duschkopf ersetzt). Zudem befindet sich auf der Seite des Duschkopfes weder eine Trennwand noch ein sonstiger Spritzschutz.

O café da manhã bem variado e muito saboroso. A piscina incrível e a vista pro pôr do sol do terraço era maravilhosa. Tivemos um problema de falta de luz na região de Minca mas o hotel tem algumas luzes de emergência e assim não ficamos 100% no escuro. A localização também é muito boa, por ser próxima do ponto de ônibus
Tivemos dificuldade em encontrar a hospedagem, pois no mapa estava mostrando a entrada pela rua de trás, fora isso foi tudo ok.

El apartamento nos hizo sentir como en casa, con una habitación cómoda y unas vistas impresionantes desde la terraza que nos permitieron relajarnos y desconectar. Carmen y Hazy fueron increíblemente amables y serviciales durante toda nuestra estancia, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Decidimos prolongar nuestra estancia en Minca y no dudamos en reservar una noche más en El Refugio. Una clara muestra de lo mucho que apreciamos nuestra estancia. Fue el mejor hostal en el que nos hospedamos en Colombia ¡Muy recomendable!
