the room was a bit cold, there was wind coming in from the bathroom and toilet, this is despite the closed doors. An electric blanket would also been a lovely addition. the bathroom was cold for the morning baths

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026I wish I could rate this place higher than 10 out of 10. It is a really great place. The rooms and facilities are really great. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Everything is amazing. This will be my home whenever I am in Bloemfontein. The kitchen staff were very willing to assist my wife with her special dietary needs. We had brought our own ingredients for breakfast and they willingly and lovingly made her the special breakfast.

Reviewed May 25, 2026My family and I had a lovely stay! We booked two rooms, one had a double bed and the other was a family room that accommodates 4 people. The breakfast was very delicious and filling! The staff is friendly and the place is very clean and peaceful with a beautiful garden and a really nice pool area. Unfortunately, we could not use the swimming pool because the weather was bad. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely book here again!

I am a pet lover, but there should be a rule that pets are not left unattended. On Friday evening room 5's occupants apparently went out for the evening, leaving 3 barking dogs until thry returned around 9h30.

Unfriendly and unwelcoming reception. Overseas visitors left standing at the closed entrance gate before 18h00 for prolonged period leaving us in a busy street right behind. Nobody on duty . We had to let them in with our arranged after hour gate code. Management appearing after some time immediately being confrontational" we did not know you travel with animals. You should have let us know. There are rules. They must be always on leashes. There are extra charges." Confimed we electronically marked this requirement on bookings' site. Our dogs are dosile border collies used to all animals and birds. Establishment marketing itself as pet friendly whilst no amenities available for pets nor in reality any usable garden space for dogs(3mx3m) not even a water bowl. Cats on the premises who climb on your vehicle at night and allowed to roam even in the breakfast room messing (billious )whilst you eat. Manager clearly an established cat person. The manager indiscriminately knocking you awake announcing "your dog is running in the garden", not noticing the dog being under care of an adult.

Mali, Cat Charlie und ihre liebenswerte Crew haben uns in all unseren Anliegen unterstützt. Wir haben tolle Restaurant-Tipps erhalten und zudem ist die Northridge Mall nur rund 300 m entfernt, super zum Einkaufen oder auch fürs Abendessen. Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Not ideal for someone arriving the city at night. Not all of us like Cats , dogs and the sound of birds at night. I stayed right infrint of the dirty pool and was scared all night. On arrival, after a 29hours travel from Canada, the reception i got was cold. The way i was directed to my room by the host got me very angry. She was angry I arrived at 8.30pm and it showed in her communication and approach, forgetting that my flight from Johannesburg only left at 6.30pm. Well i didn't sleep there the next day, i had to run away for my dear life and didn't get a refund. Will never go back there again and won't recommend this hotel to my enemy
The noise from birds at night, the sight of cats everywhere, the very dark compound at night, no directions, no proper communication. The host also.need to put up a friendly face to guests. I am a Canadian Citizen, we are not all south Africans. The pool is also very dirty.

Bloemfontein is cold 🥶 ... Nothing the place can do about it ... Load shedding in the middle of the night when I have to work and prepare for the next day ... I was there to chair a disciplinary hearing so I could only prepare for the next day at night after I rested from the days session ... Maybe consider providing for solar or alternative energy for lighting only
