Villa Marsana

I love this place, this is my second time at this property. The price is good, the owners are fantastic. You might not find soap or shampoo, or matching towels. You will a secure, secluded perfect place. First time I was solo, and have no complaints.

The guesthouse is incredibile. Not only the host is a really interesting and kind person but the structure itself is so beautiful. The vibes, with the music, are immaculate.

Un lugar súper tranquilo, estuve junto a mi familia, todos quedamos encantados, tiene el sentir de naturaleza en todos los rincones, accesible para todos lados, cabe destacar que el anfitrión El Dr. Marcos es un ser muy agradable, atento y responsable, mi experiencia en Villa Marsana a sido la mejor. Volveremos pronto.

No tengo ninguna quejas ninguna. Para mí y mi familia es una experiencia maravillosa.

Some of the beds were comfortable, but one bed had a worn-out mattress where you could feel and hear the springs. On a positive note, the mini-split AC units worked well, and the property is within walking distance to the beach. The Mangos were a good treat.

Rent at your own risk. We stayed here for 3 nights and never had hot water for showers. The owner refused to turn on the gas water heater even after we informed him multiple times. He insisted on using only the solar water heater and said he did not want to “waste gas,” which left us without hot water during our stay. The outdoor kitchen was not well maintained. There was an old, used sponge left out, and not enough cups provided for six guests. The pots and pans were very old, and food stuck to them while cooking. Basic supplies were also not provided—there was no soap, only 3 plates for six people, and no spoons or enough cups The listing also advertised two bathrooms, but it was misleading. There is only one walk-in shower and one toilet upstairs, while the other toilet is located downstairs, which is inconvenient. The property was also poorly lit. The laundry room was dirty and cluttered with clothes and blankets scattered everywhere. There were spiders and roaches in the rooms. Owner was inform beforehand that they will be 6 female staying there and to please have hot water available, which he didn't. Overall, the property was not as described and was not properly maintained.

He hido en multiples ocaciones, lo recomiendo para descanso y pasear por las areas cercanas, playas, museos u otra atraccion en el area.

Soy muy flexible, debido al precio y comodidad.

El lugar esta muy cerca de la playa y puedes ir caminando, me gustó mucho la tranquilidad de lugar, el aire acondicionado enfriaba rápido.

El dueño pide que nos quitemos los zapatos para entrar a la habitación lo cual encuentro incómodo por que normalmente no ponen reglas tan extremas cuando he reservado en otros lugares. No me gusta la cocina qué los huéspedes van a usar es la misma que ellos usan pues tienen todas sus cosas en la cocina y es incomodo... además de que la cama twin es una de posiciones para personas encamadas y estaba rota sin contar los insectos y hormigas que estaban en mi cama, algunas cortinas estaban rotas...

Me gustó mucho la hospitalidad del dueño.

Realmente por el precio que se pagó por la estadía, todo estuvo aceptable.

Micheal is a very good host. He was very nice and explained us all at the check in moment. He also provided us with some restaurant and beaches recommendations. The room and facilities are a bit old but overall it was clean and and comfortable.

If you don’t like dogs or cats I wouldn’t stay here. For me it was fine as one of the dogs really liked to be pet.

The host, Michael and his wife, are wonderful and humorous people. I enjoyed our casual conversations about East Asian medicine and their philosophy on life. The space is built organically and I loved the personal touches in the mosaic and decorations in the room/bathroom. Stars at night in the uppermost balcony were cherry on top. Beach towels and the mini fridge in the room was especially helpful for me. Loved their super sweet rescue, Bagel the pup, very affectionate. Lastly, quote from Michael "Eat more fish, laugh more, love more."

The dogs barking in the morning can disturb sleep, otherwise I enjoyed the nature sounds at night.

Really nice weekend, host very flexible and communicative. Definitely we back again. 🙂

Staff was helpful and friendly. Location great and quiet. Loved suite where teens could both have own king beds and we had our own room!!! When there was any concern, they were quick to respond. Great restaurant recommendations as well.

Excelente lugar

Incredibly spacious room and property. True nature lover paradise but short drives away to Rincon or Aguadilla. Roof top was beautiful, and a short walk to the beach. Loved all the little animals.

Large, comfortable and clean rooms. Walkable to a beautiful beach. Michael is a kind and responsive host. My kids loved the dogs and cats, especially Bagel. The outdoor community kitchen was a nice perk.

This place was great!

Grounds were unkempt, lots of junk lying around. No hot water in kitchen, dirty old scouring pads. Had to connect hot water in our bathroom sink. Bathroom not inside...had to go outside to get to bathroom. Bedroom had only 1 chair and a tiny low desk.

Honestly nothing to like

Surroundings - atmosphere - amnesties - animals (dog & their poop 💩) off street parking and many more like absolutely no hot water and the place when you first get there is like a visual dumpster & the outside kitchen including the so called laundry room were in terrible inhuman condition to be used - my apologies if I left out or forgot to mentioned anything else - had no choice but to stay and use the old nasty beds and location just for a terrible time sleeping. - going back in December to Aguada but definitely a different place and I will research before booking

Villa Marsana was a great place to stay, loved the nature and the fact the beach was walking distance it was amazing... the host was welcoming and very humble had alot of great advice of the area and life.... the room was clean and very comfortable.. The bathroom was out of a magazine loved it... the area at night is quite.. Recommend 100/10..

Everything many stairs to reach my room, room with moggy and humidity strong and strong like basement odor and made it difficult in breathing , room small, uncomfortable and felt like boxed in 4 walls

Nothing a lot dogs and car very dirty, no a parking area, no water pressure. No real jacuzzi.

The spot was beautiful honestly and we loved the town. I injured my back in San Juan before we got there and had to stay inside the whole day.

While there, I used the wifi to get.some work done and my work email was hacked and sent out over 40 emails to internal staff and clients resulting in big issues for me at work.

Mike was a great host, bathroom was large and comforting. Everything in the room functioned as expected, pretty clean overall. It was fun to share leftover with the cats and chickens.

The roosters crowing at 4 am was too early for me, cats/dogs around the outdoor kitchen but I understand some people might like that.

We had a pleasant time, the place is nice, clean and there are many outdoor posibilities to sit and relax. Owner was kind and always tried to help us. The filtered water was the best we drank in whole Puerto Rico :)

There were too many animals in the accommodation, and we found it unpleasant to cook/eat with cats and dogs constantly underfoot. We learned to close the door for the dogs, but that didn't protect us from the cats.

The owner and his wife are the best this is my second time i stay here first time was with my family for 2 weeks then it was me alone for 3 days,i feel like at home,they are clean,friendly have wifi too,is peaceful,next time i come no mater how long it takes before i return i will be staying here,plus price is affordable.Oh another great ameniti is right next to the beach you get to pick up shells and bathe in the sea.

Fabulous location, friendly and accommodating owner. Loved that I could walk to the beach or to grab something to eat. The upstairs patio was unreal!

Is a peaceful place with all you need to have a great vacation. Walking distance beach. Michael and his wife are super great hosts. It was near many options to eat, near beaches, walking distance to one beach. Near of Aguadas' Downtown, and Rincon.

I love the size of the bed, but it was a little uncomfortable.

La decoración y las cortinas. Mucha mezcla de diferentes muebles y diferentes cortinas que no cubrían totalmente las ventanas de cristal, de noche entraba mucha luz.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par notre hôte qui est une personne formidable ! Très amicale et très gentil à nous donner des tips sur les événements du coin, restaurants, activités. Il est très réactif dès que vous avez besoin. Un moment hors du temps. Point bonus pour les chiens et chats qui sont des petits amours.

La habitación era muy cómoda, la terraza y mobiliario era genial para poder pasar el rato, desayunar, etc, y podías cocinar disponiendo de todo lo necesario. En el alojamiento además hay gatos y perros, lo que nos encantó.

La calle donde teníamos que aparcar no nos parecía del todo segura, había gente que vivía al lado que no eran vecinos muy agradables. Por otro lado, el alojamiento está genial, sin embargo nosotras que éramos un grupo de amigas nos sentimos muy incómodas por comentarios y el trato recibido por el propietario. Nos hizo comentarios sexistas y se empeñaba en darnos consejos sobre cómo conquistar a los hombres. Cuando le hicimos saber que no nos interesaba esa información, su respuesta fue: "yo también puedo ser lesbiano". No creo que esta actitud la hubiera tenido con un grupo de hombres, o con parejas, etc, lo comento para que lo tengan en cuenta mujeres que viajan en grupo o si viajas sola, porque aunque nos pareció inofensivo, no nos hizo sentir del todo a gusto.

La habitación es grande y la cama es muy cómoda. El aire acondicionado funciona bien y no hace ruido y la tele tiene todos los servicios disponibles. Además tiene una azotea muy chill.

No había papel higiénico en la habitación y estaba toda la casa llena de perros y gatos, que son bastante pesados. Además, la puerta no se cerraba por fuera.

Dr. Michael is a great host. The property is gorgeous, there are some many balconies and areas to sit and enjoy the quiet scenery.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

The owners Michael and Oksana were excellent hosts. This is a family style Villa with children and animals. It's a 2 minute walk to the ocean and perfect for families

The property was great, Mr. Morales was very attentive and always available when I called and texted.

What a fantastic place. You won’t find matching towels or shampoo. But what you will find is are exceptional hosts. I was a solo female, and this place was perfect. The host lived on site. This place was many levels above a hostel, But if you are a Hilton type person, you might find the New Age vibe not to your liking, for the rest of us who enjoy new cultures, meeting people, and thoughtful hosts, this is your place. A short walk to an almost empty sandy beach. Snorkeling opportunities were half an half-hour drive.

The music was loud sometimes.

The whole house was beautiful with a loving host. He was a really responsible host. The house was clean. It gave a comfortable vibe. Safe area as well. Friendly people

If you are looking for not just a hotel, but a cozy beautiful house, then this villa is for you! Our family did not want to leave the hotel, we enjoyed the aesthetic view, comfort and friendliness of the hosts. Who put their soul into every corner. Clean, large room. Beautiful bathroom, lots of towels, comfort in every detail of the room! Perfectly equipped kitchen, recreation areas. We will definitely come back

The owner was very kind and welcoming. The whole building is really beautiful, in a peaceful environment, surrounded by trees and very close to the ocean whose sound we could hear from our room. Also, the rooftop was a blast!

This is an amazing spot, very close to the beach. It’s tucked away on a very quiet street/neighborhood, which is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. But also not far from Rincón or Aquada (or other towns). I had a rental car which made getting around easy, and parking was great. Thanks!
