The spacious family room with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our family. The bed linen was fresh and spotless, the traditional Chinese-style interior was beautiful and full of character, and the host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Although the guesthouse is located just outside the ancient city walls, we found the location very convenient, with easy access for taxis while still being only a short walk from the Old Town.

I liked my stay at the Jiaxin guesthouse. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The dorm had its own bathroom with a shower, although it was tiny. You can chose between various breakfast options for a fair price. The north gate of the old city is only a short walk away. You also have the bus stop to the high-speed railway station close by.

The dorm room was rather small. We were only two people but if it had been full, I would have felt uncomfortable.

Very comfortable and friendly host. We were a group of 2 couples so had our own separate lounge to hang out in as well as the common space.

No issues with the property, everything about our stay was great. Our host even chased us after we left as we had left a phone charger.

Wonderful welcome and great rooms. Ten minute walk to old city. Good food and cold drinks available for purchase. Bikes can be hired and taxis arranged to station. Information and map for old city

Bathroom and shower in the rooms so if you stay in a room by yourself like I had it’s very comfortable. The host did my laundry for a small price. This makes it easy for me so I don’t spend halve a day.

Hele fijne kamer, super groot bed en hoog plafond. Beetje weinig loopruimte/opslag maar ook ruime en nette badkamer. Heel lief en behulpzaam personeel en leuke binnenplaats.

Eigenlijk niks. Kamer zag er wel anders uit dan op de foto's maar het was een upgrade dus kan zeker niet klagen.

It was clean and tidy, and the staff was very helpful. I spoke English with the receptionist , which isn't common.I had no problem getting to the hostel. Unlike most hostels, it's well-marked. I recommend

Vous ne trouverez pas de meilleur rapport qualité/prix !! L'hostel est super bien placé, à moins de 5 minutes à pieds de la vieille ville. L'espace commun est super, avec de nombreuses plantes et un bar. Il est possible de prendre le déjeuner ou son repas sur place, et même de profiter de massages.

Voyageant fin octobre, il commençait à faire un peu frais dans les chambres. Mais les couettes sont assez épaisses pour ne pas que cela impacte votre nuit.

I had a lovely 3 night stay here. Jiaxin the host is a lovely kind lady who looked after me. She made the stay feel personal in a good way. The Guesthouse itself is a beautiful open building with nice sized rooms. There are a lot of services available such as tours and food/drink. The location is perfect with a less than 5 minute walk to the ancient city. I felt very welcome and comfortable and would definitely recommend.

La gentillesse du personnel. Le charme de l'endroit. C'est à moins d'1km de la vieille ville. Le bus 108 qui part de la gare vous dépose à 200m de l'auberge. Vous pouvez manger sur place pour pas cher. La propriétaire parle bien anglais. J'ai adoré.

Gostei muito da simpatia e da atenção do staff, já estive em unidades hoteleiras mais caras onde o cuidado pelo hóspede é facilmente desprezado. Outro ponto importante de salientar são os vários serviços disponíveis (lavandaria, pequeno almoço, excursões turísticas, etc) condições que oferecem um maior grau conforto e tranquilidade à estadia. P.S O pequeno almoço tradicional chinês é fantástico :)

Personale gentilissimo, camere con letti enormi e pulite, colazione fantastica e posizione perfetta: non dentro le mure (per cui servono le golf car per portare i bagagli) ma immediatamente al di fuori di queste...due minuti a piedi e si è in pieno centro!

Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

Hard to find anything I didn't like

The owners are very sweet and helpful. The room and bathroom were huge and had everything we needed. The breakfast and dinner that we got were yummy! All in all, a lovely experience!

The staff was so kind and happy all the time, they helped me a lot and they speak English, which is pretty rare in China, even in some hotels. They gave me a map and recommended some places, also asked a taxi for me for the next day that I had my train to Beijing in the morning. The shared dorm was clean, had shampoo, air conditioner, clean sheets, futon, and pillow. Also curtains for privacy. I enjoyed my stay a lot. They even gave me a little souvenir on my way out and free water. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Amazing price and just five minutes walking from North Gate of the old city. Supermarket right on the corner.

Jiaxin guesthouse is very well located, very close to the north gate of the ancient town wall. You can get there easily from the railway station by bus. The place is very nice and the service is excellent. She helped us in everything we needed and she was so kind. The bed is very confortable and room very clean.

We stayed at this beautiful place for 4 nights and it was wonderful! Useful tips and recommendations, amazing bedroom with all you need and very clean. Very responsive host and excellent food available for dinner and breakfast! After 2 months in Asia, we felt like we were at home! Extremely recommended!

The hostel is about ten minutes walk from the North gate,The best part of our stay was the host who was really friendly, We initially booked two beds in a dormitory, but when we got there she was so kind to change the reservation and she gave us a double room which was nice and clean.

It is a very comfortable and homely hostel. The room has a bathroom and shower, clean sheets and air conditioning. You can arrive late, they welcome you with warm water and guide you in whatever you need. The reception person is very kind and always helps you. You can easily walk to the old city.

I would only improve the cleanliness of the bedroom floor a little more.
