Wok Rooms

Posizione perfetta e appartamento molto carino e confortevole. La stanza è molto grande, accogliente e luminosa in una delle mie zone preferite della regione di Bruxelles. Molti negozi e locali carini nelle vicinanze.

La mia camera dava sulla strada che la mattina presto è molto rumorosa per via di alcune attività di carico e scarico che avvengono in un magazzino adiacente. I miei colleghi che avevano un altro affaccio non hanno avuto questo problema. Avrei apprezzato qualche accorgimento in più per esempio il sapone per le mani che nel mio caso era vuoto e ho dovuto usare quello della doccia.

L’emplacement

Lo mejor es la ubicación, está muy cerca de la estación central y de algunas atracciones, la cama es cómoda, no somos exigentes, hay cafetera

Al inicio no leímos que era auto registro y no encontrabamos la entrada, la clave para entrar llega por correo el mismo día de la llegada y al llegar de noche fue estresante tratar de entrar al edificio y al cuarto, no tiene elevador así que si llevas maletas de mas de 10 kg intenta pedir un piso bajo, la habitación es muy oscura porque la ventana es demasiado pequeña

Lokalizacja była świetna wszędzie blisko. Studio/mieszkanie było dobrze urządzone, duze wygodne łóżko.

I liked that it was close to the subway and to cafés. The bed was comfortable and large. The ceiling, inside door and windows were nice.

We had not microwave, although it was mentioned in the facilities. The bathroom had no door and a useless window. You could see the person in the shower if you were going to the toilet. The toilet was too closed in, it was giving us anxiety. The apartment door was shabby; the handles were falling off. We had coffee pods, but no spoon, no coffee milk, no sugar. There was no wardrobe, and no TV, but we had a strange accessory on the wall. We could not open the big window.

La calle donde está situado el alojamiento es un callejón turbio, lleno de yonkis. Gente pinchandose a plena luz del día. No nos sentimos seguros para nada con la zona. Sucio e inseguro. La habitación ínfima. El baño no tenía ni puerta. No había ventilador, nada. Desastre

Shower was decent, was provided with the needed information beforehand.

To limit it to four comments : - Doorhandle to enter the room fell off upon entry; - Room was way too hot, to the point that even the refrigerator no longer worked; - No sound insolation. Both towards the other rooms, and the outside; - Definitly not clean, to the point that it might be a fire hazard.

Très bon rapport qualité prix . Bien placé dans le centre. Belle déco brocante. Belle salle d’eau. Bonne literie, logement propre, chambre côté cour, pas de bruit. Pas de Clim (juin 2026) mais température de la chambre supportable.

Le réfrigérateur et le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnent pas.

Il faisait extrêmement chaud la nuit dernière. Un ventilateur m’aurait peut être permis de dormir.

Posizione centralissima, stanza arredata bene, molto particolari gli arredamenti che paiono curati nei dettagli. Macchinetta del caffé e capsule a disposizione degli ospiti, così come bollitore sono molto graditi. Ho chiesto un check in anticipato e hanno accolto la richiesta di buon grado

Purtroppo gli infissi sono vecchi e i dintorni del b&b sono alquanto rumorosi, essendo una zona centrale molto trafficata, sia a piedi che di camion che scaricano. Ma aggiungo che io ho il sonno molto leggero, quindi è possibile che non infastidisca tutti. Inoltre, devo fare un appunto sulla pulizia: avevo molti asciugamani a mia disposizione, ma praticamente tutti erano macchiati :( i cassetti della scrivania erano pieni di sporcizia e ci sono angoli della stanza che sono sporchi. è come se la stanza venisse pulita regolarmente ma con superficialità. Peccato

The place was not clean, old, and smelly. It was like a sauna because there was no air conditioning, there was no lift, and the bed was old, cheap, and had a bad mattress.

Shower enclosure broken, power sockets not working, no TV screen, no access to garage and no answer to calls.

Good location for centre - louise and shopping, moderate price.

Too risky in terms of communication with the host. I have booked the place on 2 occassions in the past year or so and each time I get stuck in communication with booking customer service etc to check if my booking stands. They forgot to sedn me checkin details both times, and the first time I waited outside for over an hour, I thought maybe they were new and decided to try the place again because it i sconvenient for th elocation I need, but again same problems of communication. It is not worth the stress. Also, I never got an invoice from them though requested.

- Czystość, w sypialni była zachowana na wysokim poziomie. - Bardzo duża sypialnia. - Zlokalizowane jest bardzo blisko centrum, dzięki czemu większość wyjść do centrum nie wymagała korzystania z komunikacji miejskiej. - Bardzo blisko do linii 2 i 6 która prowadzi go centralnej stacji MIDI z której można dojechać wszędzie.

- lokalizacja raczej dla osób z twardym snem: Nasz pokój znajdował się tu nad głównym wejściem przy ulicy Rue du Berger 17. Na tej ulicy znajduje się miejsce rozładunku dla sklepu oraz Burger King który czynny jest do późna. Przez co bardzo dużo osób uczęszcza ta drogą, a w szczególności dostacy na bardzo głośnych skuterach. Dodatkowo nawierzchnia jest kamienista co jeszcze bardziej zwiększa hałas na tej ulicy. Nie byłoby to problem gdyby okna były bardziej dźwiękoszczelne (aktualnie są starego typu jak w kamienicach) i byłaby dostępna klimatyzacja. Bardzo ciężko było ochłodzić pomieszczenie a spanie przy otwartym balkonie nie było komfortowe gdy ktoś 3m niżej chodził, palił papierosy albo stawał samochodem dostawczym. - wyposażenie: W mieszkanku nie działało większość świateł mimo że zamontowane było co najmniej 10 różnych źródeł światła to działały zaledwie 4. Dodatkowo gniazdka prądowe przy łóżku nie działały więc trzeba było korzystać z innych. W naszym pokoju był czajnik lodówka, dwa różne kubki, jedna szklanka, jedna filiżanka z podstawką i jedna łyżka. Przydałoby się większe wyposażenie aby można było sobie chociaż zrobić kanapki w lepszych warunkach. Dodatkowo w opisie pokoju bała mikrofalówka, której nie było w pokoju.

Wystrój

Podejście osób wynajmujących. Pan stwierdził, że fakt, iż inni goście nie mieli problemu z otworzeniem drzwi świadczy o tym, że ja też nie powinnam. Był bardzo duży problem, męczyłam się z tym chyba z 30 min. Właściciel nie odbierał tylko wysyłał żenujące smsy.

The flat is ok.

I didn’t receive the passwords before my arrival, it was difficult to get it from the owner, through the messages in booking. The worst thing was that they only sent the invoice after many calls to the customer service, many messages, etc. Very bad communication, you feel alone. If something happens during your stay, pray to god.

Une douche sans eau chaude, une fenêtre simple vitrage qui laisse passer le moindre bruit extérieur, une isolation phonique inexistante on entend vraiment tout que ce soit des voisins ou de la rue, de la moisissure sur les joints de la douche, des traces d’infiltration d’eau sur les murs

The unprofessional room owner who didn't want to give me an invoice, although I asked him three times and explained to him that I needed the invoice because I was on a business trip.

Very nice room in principle, modern and nice furniture. Since it was looking on the garden, it was also very quiet at night

Almost no space to store clothes, many of the sockets and electronic things (lamp, fridge, microwave) were not working It was also a bit dusty overall

I liked that there bathrooms for each bedroom. I think you should show better that in the advertisement

During our stay, the room itself looked quite nice, it was fairly quiet, and the check-in process went smoothly without any issues.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have any hot water during our stay, so we couldn’t even take a shower. The room was also very cold, and we felt really uncomfortable because of it. Additionally, it was stated (even in private messages) that coffee and tea would be available. However, there were only tea bags and coffee sticks, with no way to actually prepare them — there wasn’t even a basic kettle or the advertised coffee machine. Given how cold the room was, a kettle would have made a big difference, but unfortunately, the only way for us to warm up was by going for walks, as it honestly felt warmer outside than inside the hotel.

We received no answers to any of our questions. The refrigerator in the room never worked. We couldn't store our foods or drinks. There was no wardrobe for clothes in the room. Nor a shoe rack. The shower, which had no door, only had hot water for a short time during showering. There were no tissues in the room, and very little toilet paper. There were no glasses, and of course, no utensils like forks and knives.

They havent sent me an invoice that i requested

Cold apartment, noisy, bad sleeping

Location was good in relation to the center but bad because of the noises from outside. Looked clean bed, sheets and towels.

The owner did not provide an invoice and eventually blocked my calls. Very noisy outside as the road is paved with stones and very early in the morning everybody was moving around trash bins + the machine collecting it and it was noisy from 6AM. Old furniture, non-working small fridge. No read doar to the shower.

The only thing worth mentioning about this place is the proximity to the city centre and you could get easily around.

Firstly the room that is displayed in the photos do not represent at all the reality. We booked the Blue Moon room for 5 days,only to find dirty carpets,stained towels and a dirty toilet too. Although cleaned somehow the bathroom(force of habit ) we did find ourself without any running hot water to even take a shower. Tried to contact the owner to let him know the situation,unfortunately with a day delay on his answers and saying he is away and will see to send someone to fix the issue,something that never happened. We ended improvising by heating water in the kettle and pouring it into bottles in order to take showers(after taking cold showers for two days and one of us got the cold). It’s such a misfortune to have paid something and not get even the bare minimum of that service. Below I am attaching some photos I took from our very primitive stay. Shame is the only thing one can say about the owner of the place.

La chambre, payée d'avance et réservée pour deux nuits, n'était pas équipée de rideaux ; il n'était pas possible d'y dormir. J'ai pu obtenir de Wok Rooms une autre chambre (plus chère que ma réservation) mais seulement pour une seule nuit ET Wok Rooms a exigé le paiement de la différence de prix entre les deux chambres alors que l'absence de rideaux lui était entièrement imputable. J'ai donc du chercher en urgence une chambre pour une nuit dans un autre hôtel. J'ai du attendre 4 semaines le remboursement de la deuxième nuit (moins l'écart de prix) de Wok Rooms !!! J'attends toujours la facture !!!

Propriétaire peu alerte. 8 demandes de facture émises et un mois plus tard toujours aucun retour. Chambre usée, porte fenêtre cassée et impossible à fermer (super en décembre). Emplacement dans une rue peu rassurante. À éviter.

Din păcate, experiența nu a fost una plăcută. La sosire nu am primit codul de acces și am fost nevoiți să așteptăm câteva ore afară. Până la urmă, codul și cheia ne-au fost oferite de femeia de serviciu, nu de proprietar. Ulterior, proprietarul ne-a cerut în mod repetat să eliberăm cazarea, deși sejurul era deja achitat, motivând o eroare de tip dublă rezervare din partea Booking. Situația a creat mult disconfort pe toată durata șederii.

Spacieux

Bruyant on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir. Entrée dans l’immeuble sale avec les poubelles et coin de rue qui craint la nuit. J’ai demandé une facture de multiples fois et elle n’a jamais été fournie.

La literie est de qualité. La décoration de la chambre est moderne et chaleureuse. La chambre était propre (hormis le problème de draps voir plus loin).

La communication avec le propriétaire est lente et impersonnelle. Aucune réaction suite au fait que nous ayons mentionné que les draps, couette, protège matelas et surmatelas étaient mouillés. Nous avons trouvé une solution par nous-même en défaisant le lit, changeant les draps (par chance stock disponible dans une armoire), et faisant sècher sur les radiateurs. L'eau était tiède. Peu agréable en cette saison hivernale. Il n'y a ni rideau, ni store à la fenêtre de la chambre qui donne sur une cour avec un vis-à-vis vers une autre fenêtre. C'est un problème à la fois pour l'intimité mais également pour le réveil matinal.

The location is central.

No staff on site at any time. On arrival, no lights on. Used phone flash to try and find a light switch - no luck (see attached pictures). Thought I walked into a horror movie. The red sculpture in the shadows at the top of the dark staircase was a particularly interesting touch. Room was cleanish (clean linen and clean shower) but no curtain in front of the bedroom window. Shower took ages to warm up. Did not use the coffee machine because the scale build-up was disgusting. Also, sugar cubes provided (not covered) but no spoon to stir the coffee - why??? Walls are paper-thin and you can hear every time someone enters the building or comes up the stairs onto the landing. No warning of the steep staircase so a mission to carry a heavy suitcase up and down if you're a solo traveler who does not work out at a gym. First place I've ever stayed where I felt the need to check under the bed for a potential serial killer.

Habitación enmoquetada no apta para alérgico a los ácaros. El agua caliente de la ducha solo duró tres duchas. La entrada de las escaleras estaba llena de basura durante dos días, lleno de botellas que soltaban liquido y ensuciaban todo.

Good location, clean room, sheets and towels. However, some things require fixing. The lamp by the bed is not working (and it seems its been like that for a while since the light bulb already rusted), and the water kettle is also broken. Besides that all god, simple entrance instructions and clean bathroom.

Das Zimmer war zur Strasse. Jeden Morgen ab 6:15 werden dort Lieferwagen beladen, was sehr laut ist.

This property was in a great location and had everything we needed!

The room was falling apart - the handle off the front door, the shower door off the rails, some of the light fixtures on the wall. But with some maintenance this place would have been perfect! Getting check in information was also a little bit of a headache, but we did book last minute.

Great location, the room was big and bright

The wires hanging out the wall covered by hats were an interesting addition. Sinks and shower didn’t drain and overall was clean but could do with a deep clean

Fancy room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom! Neighbourhood was quiet.

I didn’t expect much; it was just a work trip, but the stay was perfectly fine. The location was super convenient: right in the center, close to public transport, cafes, coffee spots, and shops. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was nice. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

There was a life-sized statue lurking in the corridor that genuinely gave me heart palpitations, I thought a man was standing there in the dark. Inside the room (Blue moon), there were rusty metal bedside tables, a strange metal chair with a face on it, and what looked like medieval shoes tossed in the corner. It didn’t feel cozy at all, more like an art installation from someone’s nightmares. If you’re into eerie vibes and surreal interior design, this might be your thing. Personally, I was just scared.

Easy to find, bathroom, toilet and sink clean!

Blinds were broken, so you couldn't make it dark inside. Blinds layed on the floor. Coffee machine broken as well, fridge not that cold (let's say two degrees below room temperature). So do not expect facilities to be great... Nevertheless bathroom more than enough!

Good location, cleanliness, good communication, and smooth administration. As for the room, I think I got the worst one (Blue Moon) — it was dark, cold, and small compared to the other rooms I saw in the pictures. I wanted to stir the sugar in my coffee, but there was no teaspoon. Of course, it’s just a small thing, but hopefully something that can be improved.

Great location but too expensive for what you get. Advertise as fully equipped kitchen but you get a coffee machine and a microwave so limited what you can make. Also no trash can and the sink and the shower in the bathroom fills with water very quickly probably clogged pipes that hasn’t been resolved from previous review. Also you can hear every person in the floor through the thin walls. It’s fine to stay for a day or two but not more, wouldn’t stay again.
