Beautiful place with a lot of charm. Common place is great we spent good times with the friendly manager and other clients. The system to order food and drinks is very useful,directly on the phone. Great clean room, very quiet.

I recommend arriving during the day so you see the path better.

The bed was comfortable. The wifi was excellent. The shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water.

The hike from the road to the place is on an uneven and rather challenging path. A difficult 200 metres or so. This is not a place for anyone with mobility challenges. We were surprised this was not mentioned in the property description. Smoking is allowed in the garden and outside the rooms. This made sitting outside very unpleasant. Communication with the property manager was a hassle. Responses to our texts and calls took hours, if we got a response at all Ordering food was unnecessarily complicated by using a qr code... especially if breakfast is included in your booking. We waited almost an hour for our breakfast both mornings of our stay.

Amazing stay with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The place is peaceful, and perfect for meeting fellow travelers. Great location and a really nice vibe overall. Would definitely stay here again!

Une dame pour nous accueillir extremement sympathique et qui nous a beaucoup aidé. J'avais besoin d'aide pour un taxi, pour la lessive, pour laisser des bagages et partir en trek : elle nous a aidé pour tout cela. Nous sommes revenus après le trek, avec mes 2 fils de 12 et 14 ans (ados acceptés contrairement à ce qui est renseigné sur booking) et avons profité de la super cuisine. Très beau jardin.

Peut-être qu'il vaut mieux avoir son sac de couchage. Mais point de vue qualité-prix, c'est imbattable. La convivialité compense la literie.

It really is an hidden tribe 😅 finding it was a task. But it was all good.

I had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. The location is peaceful with beautiful green mountain views, there’s free parking for motorbikes, and it’s easy to order food or get anything you need, making it a very convenient place to stay.

It was a wonderful hostel to stay at. A lovely community, both the other guests and the staff and volunteers were very friendly and open, and staying there was a delight. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the available water filter were a great relief to see. Between the movie nights filled with laughter, board games and lovely meals, we had a great time at the Orchards House. Highly recommend he hostel to anyone travelling through Manali!

The location is great and the hotel itself is nice and clean.

If you have the room on the second floor close to the stairway you’re doomed to have a terrible night. The second floor is basically used as a common space and so it’s extremely noisy.

The property is amazing, located amidst the peaceful valley of Old Manali, but the road to the property is absolutely the most disappointing part of this entire stay.

The road that takes you from the main road to the property, basically there isn’t any road. It’s a jungle pathway

Quiet budget accommodation and a spacious room. Beautiful view out of the windows and terrace.

The hygiene can be improved. The blankets were somewhat smelly, there were dusty surfaces in the room.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The dorm was spacious, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the power backup meant I could work remotely without any interruptions. Being able to order food directly to the dorm was a nice bonus. The staff was professional, the vibe was great, and everything felt well managed. Would definitely stay here again!

A rare find.

Probably the nicest place to stay in Old Manali because of the location! Far away from the noisy streets, with a beautiful garden and mountain views straight from the terrace. Rooms were clean and well maintained, and there was always hot water in the shower. I really liked one of the dorms (the one with single beds) - it was very spacious with big windows. Also thanks to Chitra who is running the place, very helpful and friendly.

Difficult route to hotel

開放式的餐廳，有小空地和花園可以曬太陽活動，遇到其他住客都很友善

住到一樓的房間室內較潮，晚上被子蓋不暖也有點味道，距離馬路需步行5分鐘，不太適合使用行李箱的旅客

Food, peaceful location and local Himachali touch...Hosts were friendly and they maintained homely atmosphere around the property. I liked overall stay there....Hope to visit again!

The property is in a beautiful and quiet location surrounded by nature. It’s just a few minutes walk to the town. The staff are lovely and very welcoming and I really felt at home there in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Next time I visit Manali I’ll definitely stay there again

It’s a nice place to chill and relax, lots of treks nearby. Staff is helpful, the rooms are cozy and it has a beautiful garden.

Serene property at a very peaceful location. I loved the gardens with plenty of lovely flowers in bloom. The rooms are as good as you can expect for the price, they're clean enough for a comfortable stay. Chitra and Atharva are absolute cuties and very helpful. Overall a great place for a chill stay.

It’s a destination on its own as compared to other places. There is a ton of natural beauty further enhanced by a beautifully maintained garden and wonderful views available from the seating area. The food is excellent and prices are reasonable compared to other options in the area. Both Chitra and Atharva created a great environment to socialize, relax and chill out.

A little bit extra walking to reach the property, but that’s why we travel so that we can experience such places.

It’s great place to stay and just relax. The name stands for itself, you will actually find an hidden tribe. The stay is just too pretty, which makes it really difficult to leave once you check in here. You are gonna have fun here.

The garden is so beautiful lots of flowers in bloom and catches the morning sunshine, very peaceful, everyone is friendly and is so comfy . Food is so yummy

I had a great stay at the Hidden tribe. All the team is really welcoming, the place is great to chill, the garden is beautiful! It is not the easiest access but once you are there it is great! The food is also really good! I've met some really nice people, i can only recommend!

Food cooked by an expert chef in the cute kitchen next to the seating area. Property is tied up with another facility on the main road- so despite being "offbeat" there is still convenient access to the "main street" as they can send for things and have them brought here. Laundry available- perfect for a quiet, short, relaxing escape from the city or long term workation. Rexlaxed community of interesting travelers from around the world. Calm, chill, and mature vibe.

Being in the main part of old manali but off the main road is a double edged sword- definitely call (they are responsive) before arrival so they can escort you to the property the first time so you don't get lost.

Stayed here for two nights, Chitra is a wonderful host!

Overall, Orchard House is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Manali who wants peace, comfort, and a touch of nature all in one place.

I liked the friendly, openminded, very serviceminded and helpfull staff. Komal, the manager, is making every effort to make everybody feel welcome and “at home”, and are even bringing travellers together. The food and the surrondings is astonishing! We should have stayed 4 days, we stayed 7…

Couldn’t fault this place - a perfect location and perfect team. Property manager (Komal) made us feel so welcome and catered to every need. She welcomed us to their Holi celebrations and was always up for a social game in the evening! Food was great, toiletries were always made available and can’t fault the rooms or the gorgeous view. Would definitely return.

Great stay! Clean rooms, peaceful surroundings, and super friendly staff. The walk up from Old Manali is a bit steep, but totally worth it once you reach the property. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing to keep in mind is that the way up from Old Manali is a bit of a climb, especially with luggage. But once you reach the property, it’s totally worth it for the calm and views you get.

The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful mountain views. The atmosphere is cozy and homely, with plenty of open space to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The garden area was perfect for enjoying a cup of tea with bonfire or chatting under the stars. It truly feels like a hidden gem in Manali!

The location is right by the mountains and the river. The stay is as cozy as one could ask for. The people are very friendly and warm.

A lot of things about this property is good. As a regular traveller, i can say this is the best hostel in manali, i found after bouncing from 3 hostels before. Cozy rooms, good view, tasty food, affordable price, comman area and games, bonfire nights, their pets, humble and friendly staff. It was everything that i needed. Property is a little inside village which makes it peaceful and its hygiene makes it beautiful. Manager gave me early check in without asking any extra money at all.

This place exudes happiness and peace, this was my fourth stay at Hidden Tribe, and nestled between the beautiful mountains, just a kilometer away from Manu Temple, its been my go-to stay since 2021. I am planning for a fifth stay over here. They have their in-house kitchen, you can place orders for food, service is exceptional, super-fast and staff is so accommodating. If you're planning to explore Old Manali and want to experience a calm and safe environment while having the time of your life, Orchards House is your place and thank me later!

Loved everything about the orchard house. Perfect location with snow clad Mountain View’s from the rooms. Cute common spaces and good food(really nice staff). We were hosted so warmly by Ayush and Yatin that we extended our stay to spend diwali there :) Would 1000% recommend and have this as my go to stay in old Manali.

Its a quiet beautiful place surrounded by nature. A place where you can truly relax and unwind. The staff was always very kind and helpful when we had any questions. Little piece of paradise.

What I liked about the property is even if it is in old Manali, you feel you are just connected to mountains and away from city. It is so peaceful because of its location and at the same time, it’s not isolated, I met some amazing travellers from around world and their comman area and food were best. Good staff and great views.
