Sehr saubere Unterkunft in guter Lage zum Tempel. Indunil und seine Frau sind super nett und machen quasi alle Ausflugsziele möglich.

Indunil e sua moglie sono due persone fantastiche. Ci hanno accolto dopo ore di viaggio con una bevanda fresca a base di frutta tipica. Stanza spaziosa con letto molto comodo e aria condizionata funzionante. Abbiamo dormito molto bene per via del silenzio del piccolo villaggio. Posizione perfetta per visitare il cave temple e il golden temple. Vi consiglio di chiedere indicazioni al proprietario anche in caso di necessità per gli spostamenti. Non aspettare altro…prenota subito!!!

Super schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit tollem Garten, in dem man den Affen beim spielen zuschauen kann! Die Gastgeberfamilie ist total nett und hilfsbereit! Es liegt mitten im Grünen, aber trotzdem sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker! Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Great location close to cave temples, amazingly nice staff the couple are very lovely and will give u local recommendations and help you. The husband even took us to our next hotel with some stops at his friends businesses on the way. Would recommend for any stay in dambulla. Great value the room is very nice. 10/10

The name says it all : The Perfect Hideout really is the perfect hideout. We spent a wonderful week with Indunil and Lashini. The guesthouse is perfectly located: just a 10-minute walk from the ancient temples, close to the food market and restaurants, around 30 minutes from Sigiriya, and 30–40 minutes from the main safari parks. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning, the kettle for making tea, the reliable Wi-Fi, and the secure parking. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. What really makes this place special, though, is the hospitality of Indunil and his wife Lashini (and their adorable little dog, Ellie!). They gave us fantastic recommendations, took us to beautiful hidden places, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Indunil even spent an entire day driving us around to show us some amazing spots. He can also organize tours, safaris, and anything else you might need during your stay. For example, we enjoyed an incredible massage on our last day, something we probably wouldn't have thought of without their recommendation. Also, don't miss the traditional Sri Lankan dinner prepared by Lashini at the guesthouse. It was so delicious that we ordered it twice during our stay! Leaving was genuinely difficult, we didn't want to leave ! Without a doubt, we will be back. Indunil and Lashini made this week truly unforgettable.

Indunil and his wife are wonderful host willing to help you with everything and really nice people. The room is really clean and everything work perfectly. They guide you (they also have some tours to provide if neded) and will give you useful tip for the travel. Breakfast is good and abundant! You may try new fruits. Thank you for your hospitality!

Unsere Gastfamilie war sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns auf einen kleinen Berg mitgenommen, auf welchen man eine wunderbare Aussicht hatte und man wunderschöne Bilder machen konnte. Ebenfalls konnte man gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis bekocht werden. Das Essen war hervorragend lecker. Wir können es nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Durch die lokalen Tips konnten wir die Gegend noch besser genießen. Auf Anfrage wurde auch extra ein Transport nach Dambulla und weiter nach Kandy, inkl. einer kleinen Sightsseingtour angeboten.

Einziger Punkt den man bemängeln könnte: es wäre toll einen kleinen Kühlschrank zuhaben, damit man kühle Getränke hat, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Gute, ruhige Lage in der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Bergkloster. Einfaches sauberes Zimmer. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die auch bei der Weiterreise behilflich waren.

Die Auswahl a Restaurants in der Nähe ist gering.

Super vriendelijke eigenaren, denken erg met je mee. Hij organiseerd leuke tours waarbij je ook op lokale plekken komt. Ook na ons verblijf denkt hij fijn met ons mee over vervoer, het regelen van taxi's. Fijn contact via WhatsApp.

Beetje donkere straatjes richting de homestay, maar met een tuktuk prima te doen!

Mysigt rum med skön säng. Tyst och lugn plats. Nära till spännande sevärdheter och restauranger med jättegod lankesisk mat. Fantastiskt värdpar som tog hand om oss och serverade utsökt mat! Rekommenderar verkligen!

Badrummet saknade fläkt och var därför väldigt fuktigt. Annars var badrummet jättebra.

Pokój na uboczu, dzięki czemu jest cisza i spokój, ale w zasięgu spaceru do ważnych miejsc. Śniadania smaczne, zawsze na czas. Największą zaleta tego miejsca są jednak właściciele. Bardzo sympatyczni, pomocni. Na specjalne zamówienie, wlascicielka zrobi dla Was najlepsza kolację jaką zjecie na całej srilance. Jeśli potrzebujecie wybrać się na wycieczkę czy transportu porozmawiajcie z właścicielem -w dobrej cenie zapewni Wam najlepszą możliwą opiekę. Miejsce ciepłe, rodzinne. Dzięki temu miejscu będę z ciepłem w sercu wspominać srilanke. Polecam się tu zatrzymać.

Our stay here was wonderful, the hosts are lovely. They were very welcoming, helped us with plans and even drove us to the bus stop on departure. The room is nice, with good ac and en suite. The breakfast was nice too.

Indunil & Lashini, husband & wife, were very caring hosts. Indunil gave us valuable tips about visiting the area and Lashini cooked delicious meals. Professional yet easygoing attitude. The family guesthouse is off the main road, in a quiet area, within walking distance to the Dambulla Caves. The room was very new, modern, spacious, it was very clean, cozy and air-conditioning was great. You can tell that the hosts are passionate, honest and care about details. Indunil and Laschini were delightful hosts. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Indunil also drove us to interesting places and took us to our next accommodation.

It would have been good to have a chair in the room, but this didn't spoil our stay.

I spent 2 nights at this wonderful home stay. The wife and her husband are amazing people. The night I arrived the wife cooked me a lovely diner and next morning the husband took me on a amazing day trip I would definitely recommend this home stay and I would for sure stay here again

Only thing I was missing was a refrigerator

Das Zimmer war super sauber und das Personal war Top. Man wohnt mit im Haus des Besitzers und dessen Frau, welche super freundlich waren. Wir sind mit dem Bus nach Dambulla angereist und wurden vom Besitzer im Stadtzentrum abgeholt und kostenfrei zur Unterkunft gebracht. Wir haben eine Tages Tour mit dem Besitzer gemacht, wo wir zum Sonnenaufgang auf den Pidurangala Fels gelaufen sind und anschließend einige stops in Sigiriya abgefahren sind. Hier sind wir aber leider an mehreren Orten vorbei gekommen wo man sich verpflichtet gefühlt hat was von den einheimischen zu kaufen (Herbal Garden, Souvenirs) ansonsten war der Ausflug sehr schön. Das einheimische Essen welches in der Unterkunft angeboten wird war auch super lecker. Alles in allem ein super Aufenthalt.

Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und zu Fuß braucht man ca. 40 min Richtung Zentrum.

Hostitel byl neskutečný, nezažili jsme nic lepšího, vše zařídil a byl hrozně hodný a přátelský. On i jeho rodina. Kousek od ubytovani je skvělé místo na pozorování západu slunce. Pokoj byl velice čistý a snídaně perfektní. Měli jsme i večeři a ta byla famózní.

Staying at Perfect Hideout was truly an amazing experience! 😍😍😍😍. The room and facilities were spotless and absolutely perfect. The lovely host prepared us incredible traditional Sri Lankan meals that we will never forget, and her husband went above and beyond by taking us on a fantastic tour to Pidurangala Rock and many other local spots. He also arranged a very affordable safari where we were lucky enough to see elephants up close! On top of that, they even picked us up and made everything so easy for us. This place is not only a wonderful hostel, but it also offers a full experience of Sri Lanka thanks to the kindness and dedication of the hosts. Highly recommended – we couldn’t have asked for more! 🙏🫶

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen!. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und gaben uns gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Der Vermieter zeigte uns einen sehr schönen abgelegenen Platz, wo wir den Sonnenuntergang genießen durften. Wir haben ein Abendessen dazu gebucht, das von der Vermieterin zubereitet wurde,. Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Sauberes Bad und Zimmer! Die Ausstattung für den Preis ist absolut in Ordnung!!! Die Lage ist in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und die Höhlentempel in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen.

Es gab für uns nichts was für diesen Preis zu beanstanden war! Würden ganz sicher wieder dorthin fahren!

The owner of this home stay was very humble and friendly person.He organized a Pidurangala sunrise tour with another attractive places in Sigiriya also It's included my breakfast at hotel in Sigiriya town. Also I ordered dinner from them and his wife made super delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinne for me. Room was clean and I didn't see any bad point. The bed was very comfortable and room has hair dryer and cute mini tea setup.

We had a short but wonderful stay at Inundil’s house. He is a great and very kind host who takes excellent care of his guests. He kindly offered to drive us to the Golden Temple, which is just a few minutes from the house, and waited for us to finish the visit to bring us back home, where his wife prepared a delicious dinner in their beautiful garden. We would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were amazing! They helped us organise a safari and were great at communication. The room was fairly clean - though bags are needed in the garbage bins. The AC was welcomed during the heat wave. Breakfast was lovely!

The location was very hard to find - we went down several roads before finding it. Leaving the place early one morning we took a wrong turn walking and were quickly surrounded by barking dogs - we were extremely scared. Locals suggested that the dogs wouldn't harm us - but it ruined the walking experience for us for the rest of the week. That said the location was generally good - quiet from the loud streets of Dambulla.

Owner was very friendly and welcomed us with a banana lassi. Room was very clean and the nicest we stayed at in Sri Lanka! Super close to the cave temple - can walk there in 15 mins. Great bathroom, really comfortable bed, mirror, clothes stand. Everything we needed! Plus super cute dog, Ellie who i miss already.

Stayed here for 3 nights in total. Extremely clean with a/c. Only a short walk from the golden temple. Host is extremely accommodating. Took us to see the sunset from a viewpoint close by on our first evening there. The following morning took us to the base of pidurangala for a sunrise hike and then breakfast after. He also took us on a tour around the locality. Gave great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

A bit far from everything and we asked for a pick up which cost extra. They wanted to charge more even for extra toilet paper which is weird.

The host is more than amazing. He showed us a magnificent sunset. The place is near the view point. It’s really clean and comfortable! The breakfast was very good and homemade!

The owner went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. He took us on a sunset tour to the most beautiful hidden spot for free! He also drove to Sigiriya after leaving for a very reasonable price. Nothing was too much hassle. He also recommended a great buffet breakfast place only 2 min walk away only 800lkr. The room was so beautiful and felt luxurious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The shower was hot. The AC was great. We felt so relaxed here in the beautiful green garden. Everything you need is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away (if you feel like leaving as it is so relaxing here)! We could not have had a better stay, thanks so much!

The room and washroom were so clean and they prepared the room perfectly. Walkable distance to the main road to catch the bus. cheap and worthwhile place.

Perfect for our four nights on Dambulla, we used our stay as a base to travel round.and it was perfect! Tea on arrival and breakfast were delicious! Our host was very helpful in organising our excursions and was a godsend in arranging our train tickets between Kandy and Ella. Altogether a great place to stay!!

The overall price was really good (~4500 LKR with breakfast), the bedroom was nice and the host was taxing us around to the cave temple and back free of charge.

The bed was quite short for us (we are about 1.80m), but the host said they will replace it soon. The host tried to provide extra service (tour to Sigiriya,...), which was too pushy for us and quite expensive (3500 LKR, but we did not try to bargain it). We also were charged taxes additionally to the price (even though booking said it was included), so be careful to check that. Furthermore there were frogs in the bathroom, it did not bother us, but might others.

Indunil, the owner, was an amazing host. Friendly guy with nice energy and commitment to make your stay a perfect one. The place is so beautiful, with a nice garden and the rooms are big and comfortable (AC included). So far the best accommodation on my solo trip through Sri Lanka. Indunil prepared a full day of tourism through Sigiriya which was more than expected. Good value for money. A place to repeat.

Beautiful room in the green with a perfect sunset spot nearby. The host was very helpful! He come take us in the bus station and carried us to the principal attractions.

Very clean, modern, had all the amenities we needed and the bed was lovely! Wifi was really fast, ideal bathroom facilities and serene outdoor space. The property was a 10-15 min walk to the Dambulla cave temple and about a 10 minute drive to the main town area. The host was incredible, he went above and beyond for us! He organised an amazing safari tour, taxied us around for dinner and took us to an iconic sunset spot. Would 100% stay here again!!

It’s about a 40 min walk to the main town but you can easily get a tuk tuk for cheap.
