כדי להגיע לחדרים הגובהים יש רק מדרגות אז אם למישהו זה בעייתי לוודא שאתם בוחרים חדר בקרקע.

Secure door lock Secure homestay Safe place to keep motorbike Very quiet at night. Excellent night's sleep Quiet air con that works well. Soft mattress and clean sheets. Nice to be able to eat overlooking the rice fields Fantastic fresh squeezed orange juice Fantastic coconut coffee Fantastic value for money Good breakfast of a freshly made omlet, fresh fruit and bread and sweet coffee. Breakfast was filling for me. I ate my evening meal there and the portion sizes are good and great value. Chicken schnitzel was super nice with the fresh salad that was very tasty. Food was quickly served Staff are super friendly and have nice smiles.
All minor things: Not obvious to check in at the coffee bar across the road. Maybe normally there is someone at reception. It would be nice to have table service at the first row of tables facing the rice fields for repeat drinks.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Eine tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Reisfelder, mein Zimmer war komfortabel, ich konnte ein Fahrrad leihen und die tolle Gegend erkunden. Meine Gastgeber war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut und im Restaurant gab's leckere Gerichte mit einer großen Auswahl.

מיטה די קשה, רמת הניקיון סבירה בסה״כ אבל לא מושלמת. יש הרבה חרקים, גם בחדר, אבל זה משהו שמאפיין מקומות לינה רבים במאי צ׳או ולא ייחודי לגרין.

הרבה אנשים חוו כאבי בטן במהלך השהות אני אישית לא חוויתי את זה אבל כל שאר החברים שלי כן. האופניים שהם מספקים מתפרקים,הם בכלל לא מתוחזקים טוב, לחלקם אין ברקסים ואין אוויר בגלגלים…

Reviewed May 1, 2026L'emplacement au cœur des rizières est exceptionnel. La piscine est magnifique et vraiment très agréable. Il est possible de faire de belles balades à pied et à vélo au départ du homestay vers des petits hameaux. Petit déjeuner buffet exceptionnel.
Le personnel parle peu anglais, ce qui les rend un peu fermés et pas tres avenants, mais nous avons toujours eu ce dont nous avions besoin.

Effectivement c'est une auberge, un gros groupe de jeunes qui ont parler très fort tardivement. Les sanitaires sont très sales à l'exception des WC propres en arrivant en début d après midi. Je ne me doucherai pas ce matin car les douches sont justes dégueulasses. Manque de nettoyage. Sinon le personnel féminines est très accueillantes comparer à un.jeune garçon qui est blazer des demandes d'explication.

I booked the bongalo and a few hours after check in I was laying in bed and a 1.5 meter wooden beam fell on the bed from the ceiling. However, the staff immediately offered me another room. The dorm's toilets had ants.

La vue, organisée, sur les rizières est très apaisante. les repas ont un très bon rapport qualité /prix qui participent de son succès. la clientèle est jeune et très cosmopolite
De nombreux escaliers conduisent aux différents types d'hébergements . Il y aurait des travaux à faire , mais bon , on trouve presque toujours une solution

כל החדר מלא בחרקים כל הזמן, ביקשתי שינקו לי את החדר ולא ניקו אפילו את השירותים אז אני בספק אם בכלל החליפו לי מצעים או שסתם סידרו אותם. אם יש מים חמים זה מטורף כי לרוב אין אם בכלל יש מים בברז. המיטה לא רק קשה שבסדר בכל המזרח זה ככה אבל גם יש בה בליטות קשות כאלה שמפריעות.

Reviewed Mar 13, 2026The best accommodation in Vietnam. Very nice room with a fantastic view. Great breakfast and great staff. During our stay we were sick and they helped us with everything we needed. Very nice people!
Unfortunately the rooms are not soundproofed. The structure hosts noisy groups who do not respect silence. Would be great if they made their customers respect the silence rules.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025The location was perfect, close by the city but with amazing views. The room was good, shower had warm water, the view from the room was amazing. The breakfast was good with lots of options (pancake, egg, some vietnamese dishes). The free bicycles are in good condition.
Everything wqs great, some small things were that the rooms were a little bit out of date and could use some fresh paint, also the swimming pool could use some good cleaning.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025I had suuuuuch an amazing and peaceful time at The Green Homestay in Mai Chau! 🌾 The place is wonderful — clean and cozy dorms with both AC and fans, lovely and caring staff, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious, and there’s a refreshing pool perfect for relaxing. I fell in love with the adorable newborn puppies and their sweet mama dog 🥰🧚♀️ The views over the rice fields and surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking, and you can even use their bikes for free to explore the beautiful area — a magical ride you won’t forget. I loved it so much I kept extending my stay because I just couldn’t leave! One of my happiest travel experiences ever ❤️
