Una experiencia que va mucho más allá de un simple alojamiento. Priyavimana Resort es uno de esos lugares que se quedan en el corazón. Desde el primer momento te sientes acogido con una calidez auténtica, como si llegaras a casa de una familia y no simplemente a un resort. El lugar es precioso, tranquilo y lleno de armonía, pero lo que realmente hace especial la experiencia es la profesionalidad, la dedicación y la sensibilidad de la doctora, junto con la calidad del tratamiento ayurvédico. Cada atención está pensada para la persona, con cuidado y respeto, creando una experiencia de verdadero bienestar. Aquí no eres un número ni un turista más: eres una persona, escuchada, cuidada y bienvenida. Y eso marca toda la diferencia. Un lugar absolutamente recomendable y, en mi opinión, un sitio que merece ser visitado y vivido al menos una vez. Me llevo no solo el recuerdo de un hermoso lugar, sino también la sensación de haber encontrado personas que cuidan de verdad.

We had such a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and were immediately offered some tea, which made us feel right at home. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and have great air conditioning. Everything is really well organized, and the hosts are incredibly helpful. They are happy to arrange everything for you, including taxis and anything else you might need, so you don’t have to worry about organizing things yourself. The hospitality was amazing, and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Anyone who's travelled in Sri Lanka probably knows that the hospitality here is amazing! Accomodation hosts are always welcoming and so happy to help. Even knowing that, the family at Priya Vimana Resort blew us away!! Their kindness, generosity and enthusiasm in welcoming us, organising activities and spending time with us was out of this world! We arrived as strangers and left as adopted daughters. We now have family in Sri Lanka and are already planning our next trip haha. My cousin and I have been travelling Asia together for the last 6 weeks, we've met many fantastic people but Vimal, Manakee, Dinisha, Nadeesha, Hiran and Sandy have a special place in our hearts. From the time of booking to the end of our trip, they were available to help and quick to reply to any enquiries. They organised our 2.5hr taxi from Wilpattu NP to Habarana - the guy was lovely and punctual. They offered suggestions for activities - herbal village, massage, cultural dance, try on a sari and more. Vimal (our new adopted father) owns a tuk tuk and was available to drive us everywhere. Throughout our 4 day stay, we learned lots of Sinhala, ate Manakee's wonderful dinners and fabulous breakfasts and really just fell in love with Sri Lanka! The room was gorgeous with a double bed, mosquito net and a mini fridge. Very comfy and lots of space. I especially loved the front patio space where we ate our meals and you can observe all the native wildlife in their beautiful garden. In addition, they told us to call if we ever needed assistance post departure. They arranged a 6hr taxi from Kandy to Arugum Bay for us. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, welcoming us into your family and for all of the fun, laughter and joy.

Excellent service by the owner and his family. Breakfast was super with choice of fruits and Sri Lanka delicacies. Short walkt to some nice restaurants and coffee shops. Nice and quiet. Our room had a nice verandah facing a tropical garden.

Alles! Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir auf unseren Reisen entdeckt haben. Die Host-Familie ist unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben mehrere Tage dort verbracht und unser Aufenthalt war von der Ankunft bis zur letzten Minute perfekt! Das frisch von der Familie zubereitete Essen (Frühstück, auch Lunch und Dinner möglich) war ebenfalls hervorragend. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was man braucht. Auch eine eigene Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Der Garten ist wunderschön, wir haben Stunden damit verbracht, einfach dort zu sitzen und allerlei Tiere zu beobachten, die vorbeikommen. Wir sind überwältigt von der einzigartigen Gastfreundschaft und Professionalität, mit der die Hostfamilie ihre Unterkunft betreibt. Man kann das nicht besser machen! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die ganze Familie!

​¡Una estancia de 10! Pasamos 5 noches inolvidables gracias a Nadeesha, Wimal y toda su familia, que nos trataron como de la casa desde el primer minuto. ​Lo mejor: Su hospitalidad inigualable. Nos organizaron el traslado desde el aeropuerto, nos esperaron con una cena deliciosa a pesar de llegar tardísimo por un vuelo retrasado, y hasta nos prepararon comida/cena tras un día largo de excursión. ​Las instalaciones: Un auténtico oasis de paz. Habitaciones impecables con una terraza privada preciosa frente a un jardín lleno de flores. ​Gastronomía: Desayunos (hari rasai) riquísimos, abundantes y variados, acompañados siempre de un buen té negro de Ceilán. ​Ubicación y extras: Ideal para moverse por la zona. Wimal es un conductor de tuk-tuk excepcional y te ayudan a gestionar cualquier actividad. ​Lo que iba a ser un sitio donde dormir se convirtió en lo mejor del viaje. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

Absolutely wonderful hosts, the whole family are so sweet and caring. They couldn't do enough for you! The grounds are beautiful and I loved eating delicious breakfasts and dinner just outside my room with a view of the garden. The room and bathroom are clean and the bed comfy! Great location for Habarana town and a short distance away from top attractions which the family will happily help you organise. 100% would recommend!

While the activities were great, I think if you shop around you may be able to find them at better value elsewhere. My safari was an amazing experience, however the guide the hosts chose spoke limited English which was a little disappointing as I would've liked to learn more about the national park and animals.

Having visited Sri Lanka three times this remains my favourite place to stay. Run by the most welcoming and friendly family, nothing is too much trouble, and the meals are incredible. I'll be back!

Priyavimana is a small family run accommodation. The rooms are very clean with good facilities and private verandas set in a beautiful garden. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met and they helpfully arrange any trips (Minneriya, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa) and transportation you want. Breakfast is included and you can have an evening meal too. The food is delicious and lots of it. We had a fantastic 3 nights stay and have many wonderful memories. Would highly recommend.

La atención y disponibilidad de la familia de anfitriones desde el momento de la reserva. Ofrecen su ayuda y conocimientos del lugar para asesorar sobre visitas y actividades de la zona. Son muy amables y atentos, a la vez que respetuosos. Los desayunos y las cenas que sirven son deliciosas y abundantes. El jardín es precioso y está muy bien cuidado. La habitación limpia y cómoda, con un porche estupendo para disfrutar de la comida y del entorno. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de nuestra estancia. Recomendable 100%

Mooie plek, ruime kamers, aardige eigenaren en lekker eten. Locatie ideaal voor safari en bezoekjes aan Lion Rock en Dambulla.

Nous avions réservé la villa qui bénéficie de deux chambres avec climatisation, un salon salle a manger, une douche avec eau chaude et une cuisine. C'est confortable de s'installer dans le salon pour lire ou discuter au lieu d'être dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux. Il est servi dans notre salle à manger donc vous pouvez venir en sautant du lit ! Chambre avec petit dejeuner : c''est un de nos meilleurs rapport qualité prix du Sri Lanka. Le propriétaire est adorable et nous a emmené notre linge à la laverie. Il a été le rechercher sec et plié avec son tuk tuk ( 1kg de linge 1000 roupies) Nous avions besoin de WiFi et ça ne fonctionnait pas bien, le propriétaire a été plusieurs fois en ville pour récupérer la liaison. Nous avons aussi pris un de nos dîners sur place, c'est bien cuisiné, comptez 2500 roupies par personne. Sinon les restaurants sont accessibles à pied ou en tuk tuk.

An absolutely spotless room with my own veranda & breakfast served outside every morning, and the breakfasts were amazing! The hosts could not have been more helpful & it is a delightful place to stay.

Die Unterkunft ist mega schön. Nicht nur der super schöne Vorgarten, die eigene Terrasse, auch die Gastgeber sind super herzlich und schön ! Der Vater Vimal hat uns vom Bus abgeholt und auch wieder hingefahren. Und auch sonst uns super viel ausgeholfen und unsere Zeit einfach mega schön gemacht ! Danke auch für das tolle Essen, was so reichlich für uns zum Frühstück und Abendessen zubereitet wurde ! Richtig lecker !!!

I travelled for 3 weeks across Sri Lanka and this was my favorite place I stayed for many reasons. First, the rooms are very clean and spacious and the AC works very well and the property is just beautiful with lovely gardens outside your room and a calm serene environment. Second, the hospitality of the entire family is like nothing I experienced all across Sri Lanka. The daughter, helps to coordinate activities and was always available via text. The mom is an amazing cook and I had some of my best meals here for dinner, lunch c and then the breakfasts are a whole other story! The breakfast is a work of art and so big you cannot finish it. Then the dad is a tuk tuk driver, who is very safe driver and knows all the best spots to go! He is very friendly and I had a lot of fun with him (as I was travelling solo) going to the different temples and historical sights. He had a great sense of humour and is great company! In short, the room was wonderful, the family was even more wonderful, and this was my favorite stay during my 3 week trip! I hope to return again or meet them in the future asI left feeling I had gained three good friends! Thank you for everything Ps. I met a lot of travellers after who stayed in Dambulla and did not like their time as much in the area as I did - I really preferred staying here in Habarana as it was small but had everything you needed from shops, supermarket, safari tours, lake tours, temple access, trains and busses connecting for onward travel

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this homestay highly enough. The hosts were some of the warmest, kindest, and most welcoming people we have met during our travels. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel special. The meals were absolutely incredible—huge, delicious, home-cooked feasts showcasing the best local food. Every meal was a highlight of our stay. The rooms are very clean and great aircon, all set in manicured garden. The property is a short distance from town but host happily took us to town. They also arranged a great safari for us.

A truly lovely place to relax and spend a few days! Wimal (the owner) and his family are truly unique people, always willing to help and always there to welcome us every time we were out and returning back to the resort. The room was clean and tidied up and breakfast was perfect with huge variety.

The beautiful garden, the peaceful bedroom, and most of all the warmth and kindness of Vamana and his wife. I slept so well in the bedroom, it is comfortable, impecable and has a lovely warm shower. One of the best places I have stayed in for its genuine hospitality The guest house is close to Habarana and to all the main sights, the protect eeserves to see rhe elefants and Sigiriya. The hosts helped to organise the safari to see the elefants and also took me to Sirigiya by tuk tuk. What i also really appreciated is their honesty!

We loved this small family-owned hotel! The owner is a kind man, his wife cooks the breakfasts and dinners, which are generous, delicious and very affordable. The price for the whole experience is pretty unbelievable. There is hot water in the shower and a refrigerator. They've created a little paradise with their own hands, there are plants everywhere on the territory. We really enjoyed our interactions with the owner. The hotel is located down a peaceful alley of beautiful homes and rice fields. We loved taking walks there every evening after our time of exploration. We highly recommend this hotel!

Such a lovely and welcoming host, he was happy to drop us to a restaurant for lunch and when the tuktuk we rented broke down him and his sons were there within 10 minutes to help us fix it and drive is back to the hotel. The breakfast was great and very filling. It was cooked for you whenever you were ready for it, we had an early morning safari and they had breakfast ready for us when we returned. I would highly recommend staying here

It really was a home from home, with Vimal, the host’s father giving lifts and making sure I had everything I needed and his wife cooking the delicious food. The room itself was clean and spacious with a hot shower with good pressure. The best part was the terrace, looking out over the beautiful garden, where meals were served.

The property is beautiful, very well kept. It is full of plants and flowers, which is a bonus because the rooms have a small patio where you can have breakfast and dinner, and the surroundings are great. The food is exceptional, and very big portions. They also offered to help us with the tuktuk, very helpful. The family is very welcoming, happy to help with anything.

We chose Priyavimana for the great rating - and the reviews didn't lie! The accommodation is clean, the garden is beautiful, the family is very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast is huge, tasty and every day a bit different! It was also possible to order homemade curry for dinner, which was a bit pricey (2200 lkr per person), but freshly made just for us when we arrived, and a huge portion again. Wimal pick us up from the train station and also brought us to the bus when we needed. He also took us to Pidurangala Rock for sunrise, where he waited for us and took us to Dambulla Rock Cave after with his tuk-tuk. All the tuk-tuk rides were fairly priced (the pickup was actually free). We booked a safari trip through the family, and we really appreciated the guide understood we'd rather see fewer elephants than hunting them down with tens of other cars. As a reward, we had a beautiful elephant family with a little baby just for ourselves. :) PS: The room without AC with the fan was absolutely ok!

El señor fue malísimo. Me ofreció todo el día con el tuk tuk y fue muy divertido. El almuerzo era súper bueno.

Данный гостевой дом просто утопает в тропической зелени. Насладиться этим буйством красок можно за трапезой на небольшой крытой террасе, которая есть перед каждым номером. Номера аккуратные, чистые, уютные. Всё работает без нареканий. Разве что включение горячей воды в душе может вызвать вопросы у тех, кто не привык пользоваться проточными электронагревателями: много вентилей. Лучше сразу уточнить у хозяина. Перед заселением хозяева интересуются временем прибытия в переписке, оперативно отвечают в сообщениях booking.com и в WhatsApp. Оплату у нас приняли в рупиях. Цена вполне доступная. В целом Хабарана может служить удобной базой для посещения целого ряда достопримечательностей: Сигирия, Пещерный храм в Дамбулла, Полоннарува, Анурадхапура, Миайнтейл, нацпарк Миннерия. О трансфере в первые две мы за небольшую цену договорились с хозяином гостевого дома, он организовал нам 2 тук-тука. Но важно сразу обговорить желаемое время прогулок в намеченных локациях во избежание недопонимания: от нас ждали, что мы посмотрим всё быстро и вернёмся. А мы не любим спешить и возвращались после ужина в Дамбулле уже после заката. При таком раскладе может быть удобнее просто воспользоваться PickMe, чтобы не заставлять себя ждать. Гостевой дом расположен на некотором удалении от центра Хабараны: идти до продуктовых магазинов и основной массы кафе пешком примерно 20-25 мин. Или на тук-туке. Если это важно, то нужно учитывать. Хозяин гостевого дома в высшей степени гостеприимен, вежлив и отзывчив (в booking.com и WhatsApp общение - с его дочерью). За такую небольшую стоимость включён и весьма содержательный завтрак, что снижает значение удалённости от кафе: можно подкрепиться и сразу ехать в интересную локацию без лишней траты времени. Мы остались очень довольны своим пребыванием здесь. Соотношение "цена/качество" - на высоком уровне. Могу рекомендовать Priya Vimana Resort для всех желающих посетить достопримечательности северной части Шри-Ланки.

Я бронировал данный гостевой до через booking.com. Поскольку данное место надёжное - проблем не было. Но лучше использовать для бронирования альтернативные площадки. Моя попытка заселения по предоплаченной брони другого жилья в Дубае через booking.com окончилась невозможностью заселиться. Поддержка booking.com не отвечает, игнорирует, по итогу отказали в возврате денег за бронь, по которой я не смог заселиться по вине размещения. Booking.com - никак не помогает в решении проблем, ни за что не отвечает! Я просто потерял деньги! Booking.com не заботятся о своей репутации.

Dans notre top 5 des hébergements après 9 semaines de voyage ! Tout est parfait : l'accueil, les chambres avec terrasse privative dans un très joli jardin tropical magnifiquement fleuri, le calme, les petits déjeuners et dîners très copieux mais surtout la gentillesse des hôtes. Nous avons communiqué en amont de notre arrivée avec leur fille sur WhatsApp. Notre hôte est venu nous chercher gracieusement en tuktuk à la gare ferroviaire. Possibilité de louer un scooter également à la journée. Magnifique séjour.

WiFi dipped, and communication was a bit tricky. Suggest organising your tours/dinner prior to coming. Not convinced by the AC and woke up a bit chesty.

La location était très confortable, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le jardin est somptueux et Vimal et sa famille nous ont accueilli comme des rois, ils ont réellement le cœur sur la main, toujours souriants, disponibles et authentiques. Les dîners et les petits déjeuners étaient justes succulents. Réservez sans hésiter, vous ne serez pas déçus !

I have nothing but praise for Priyavimana Resort! We stayed in a room with a terrace surrounded by palm trees, where you can enjoy breakfast accompanied by birdsong and squirrels. The owners are very kind and helpful. In addition to the fantastic breakfast (other meals are also available on request and I highly recommend trying them at least once), they were also a great help with excursions and sightseeing. The owner has a tuk-tuk and can easily take you to your desired destination. Communication in English was smooth and without any problems. Cleanliness was of a very high standard. During our trip around Sri Lanka, we stayed at several similar accommodations, and Priyavimana Resort was definitely among the very best, both in comfort and cleanliness. I’d also like to point out that they offered assistance in advance with organizing transportation from the airport as well as to our next destination. If (or rather, when) we return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay here again.

Habitaciónes muy limpias y muy completas. El lugar es magnífico pero la familia que lo regenta aún más. Están pendientes de que no te falte de nada, que estés cómodo y que todo sea de tu agrado. Si necesitas ayuda te la brindan encantados y siempre con mucha amabilidad. El desayuno riquísimo!! Al igual que las comidas y las cenas, de lo mejor de Sri Lanka. Nosotras fuimos a pidurangala rock con el dueño del alojamiento y nos hizo diferentes paradas por los alrededores donde pudimos disfrutar de unas vistas impresionantes de la lion rock. Si tenéis la intención de alojaros en Habarana este es el mejor sitio sin duda

Priyavimana resort is not really a resort; it´s a villa with two bedrooms in a beautiful, exotic garden. The owners live in a separate house on the grounds. The villa is spacious, breakfast is included, and copious. It´s a family-run business, and they are very friendly. The night we stayed there, the English-speaking host was not available, which made communication a bit difficult, but the parents of the host did everything to make our stay comfortable. On my departure, they allowed me to take their small (empty) Ceylon tea box home, which now has a special place in my kitchen :-) They explained that air conditioning wasn´t included in the Booking price, as they had just installed it three days ago. They asked a small extra amount, which we considered reasonable. The ride to the Kaudulla NP takes about 30 minutes, and the safari guide can pick you up with his jeep.

Upon arrival, some cover sheets were missing, but after some back-and-forth communication, this was solved.

Wir hatten sehr schöne zwei Tage mit Wimal, dem Inhaber der Unterkunft. Er hat uns abends um 22 Uhr mit dem Tuktuk vom Bahnhof abgeholt, am nächsten Tag zum Lions Rock und nach Dambulla gefahren und am folgenden Tag nach Polonnaruwa. Er hat uns sogar um 4:30 morgens wieder zum Zug gefahren und mit uns gewartet bis der Zug kam! Während der Trips hat er uns Tipps gegeben, damit wir uns nicht von Guides o. ä. abzocken lassen und auf Elefanten oder das Umland hingewiesen. Als wir Kokosnüsse trinken wollten, hat er an mehreren Ständen Ausschau nach den frischesten und größten gehalten und uns die besten ausgesucht. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und bei Ausflügen sollte man auf jeden Fall auf Wimal zugehen. Er ist so nett und zuvorkommend und hat unser Erlebnis einzigartig gemacht. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, bequem und ruhig gelegen, wir haben nichts auszusetzen. Außerdem: Wir hatten das von manchen Rezensionen thematisierte dritte Zimmer, wo es etwas riechen soll. Das stimmt, wenn man die Abdeckung des Duschabflusses nicht abdeckt. Sobald man die dafür vorgesehene Abdeckung nutzt, riecht es nicht mehr unangenehm.

Das Wifi/Internet ist leider nicht sehr schnell, aber man kann damit googlen und das wichtigste machen.

The garden is beautiful and the family is the most kind ever! You will feel as being in a kind family :) Also the room and bathroom was very clean and the downtown is close with lots of restaurant options. I highly recommend this place!

- Die Abholung vom Bahnhof war nicht umsonst, obwohl es so in der Beschreibung stand. - Mit der Gastgeberin kommuniziert man über WhatsApp, was manchmal nicht gut funktioniert hat. - Zu Fuß ist es weit ins Zentrum. - Ich fand, dass die anfänglichen tollen Bemühungen nachgelassen hatten, nachdem ich keine Safari oder andere Fahrdienste über das Guesthouse buchen wollte. Hat bei mir einen schalen Geschmack hinterlassen. Schade.

Super liebe Familie, sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt und auch spät abends wieder dort hingebracht. Vimal und seine Familie haben für uns Ausflüge arrangiert (Safari & Pidurangala) und uns selbst die Gegend gezeigt. Auch beim Auffinden eines Wäscheservices im Ort haben sie uns unterstützt. Abends wurden wir lecker und sehr reichlich bekocht und morgens gab es gutes Frühstück. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liegt schön im Grünen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The owner and his family, the food, the services, the garden and the cleanliness. Even though the property is a bit away from the main road, we were always provided with transportation as and when required at a very good price. They also helped arrange the village tour and Minneria Safari at a competitive price. Always willing to sort out things for you, you just have to mention something and they would be able to arrange it for you.

Eine richtig liebenswürdige und sehr gastfreundliche Familie. Sie hat sich stets um das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste gekümmert. Das Frühstück, und auf Wunsch, auch das Abendessen, serviert auf unserer Veranda, mit Blick in ihren wunderbaren Garten, waren sehr lecker. Es ist idyllisch ruhig in ihrem gepflegten Garten. Wir kommen wieder und geben diesen Tipp auch unseren Freunden weiter.

Tutto perfetto! A partire dalla famiglia, Vimal, Dinu e sua madre sono tutti super disponibili e gentili. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Vimal ci ha accompagnato con il suo tuk tuk ovunque volessimo andare, Dinu è stata di grandissimo aiuto ancora prima di arrivare in Sri Lanka e la mamma è una cuoca fenomenale. Le stanze sono pulitissime e la posizione ottima. Colazione e cena buonissime!

We had the best stay in Priyavimana. The room is very good for the price you pay, off course basic but very clean (cleanest we stayed so far in Sri Lanka). The owners are warm hearted people. The hospitality was extraordinary: the nice chats, the father of the house who drove us around to go hike Pidurangala rock and see Polonnaruwa, always checking if we were good and safe...We felt at home. The dinner is super nice, good local food. They also help you a lot with getting good prices to safari and getting a taxi. If you are looking for a place to stay in Habarana: this is it!! We would recommend 100%. We hope We get to Come back.

Absolutely nothing

Vimal and his family are the best hosts you could ask for. They are generous, helpful, and will be one of the highlights of your time in Sri Lanka. Make sure to check with them first before you book safaris or other activities in the area — Dinu will most likely be able to get you a better deal with a better operator. The property is immaculate, and Habarana makes a great base for the cultural triangle.

Delicious food 😋

The family were very accommodating. Food was delicious. We enjoyed the terrace during the evenings. They have a dog called sandy who was very lovely.

Family staff were wonderful Tuk-tuk needed to go into Habarana but staff very good at organizing tuk-tuks or drivers Lovely traditional breakfast included and in bill Exceptional value for money

Owner took me in his tuk tuk to get laundry sorted down the road. Wonderful Alsatian “Sandy” for company. , only if you like young dogs of course. So helpful. Garden terraces exceptional , especially if you are a gardener.

Fantastic visit, family very helpful with anything, food is tasty, helped with all questions, the owner drive us around the city and surroundings, you can negotiate the price and come up with a route you like, top stay

I stayed in the small room but i had everything what I needed. It was super clean and the family whonits running this place its super nice. The garden its very nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely host who helped us extensively with all our needs. In the cabins the garden view is nice. Fine breakfast. Good place to explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. Sigirya close by

The villa feels boxed-in and not connected to the garden with no windows on the garden. There is no kitchen and no utensils in the kitchen. Cabins are a bit primitive.

We stayed in this lovely home for two nights and I think that this was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts are fantastic people, friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The rooms are simple but have everything that you need and have a lovely terrace within the beautiful gardens. But best of all is the food. We had breakfast and dinner on both days and we were served a selection of home cooked, Sri Lankan treats that were delicious. All together a fabulous experience that I’d happily pay more for.

There was nothing to not like

We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

We didn’t find anything we didn’t like, and it’s a perfect value-for-money accommodation that we can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

The family are amazingly hospitable - Mannikey’s cooking was great!! Very friendly and helpful.

Dinu and her parents were so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and they went above and beyond to help us. We checked out at 5 am, but they had breakfast takeaway ready for us.

The host family is very friendly and kind. They made us feel extremely welcomed and tried to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was fresh made and delicious. The location is great to visit the surrounding area and Sigiriya rock. Definitely recommend.

Set in a nice, well kept garden. Family were very attentive and helpful with my requirements. Fantastic safari organised, helped with tuk tuk journeys. Food was amazing, best so far in Sri Lanka. Wifi also worked really well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Got up at 4am to take me to the sunrise. Sorted Laundry. Best stay I've had in Sri Lanka. The food was great! Helped me on my way with the right information, so it was easy. Perfect stay!

Our stay was magnificent. The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

What a beautiful garden and a lovely family! The hotel is located in what feels like a jungle. The hosts are so kind and friendly. The dinner was delicious, freshly made and so generous! Hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance from the main strip of Habarana where to pick from a selection of safaris, restaurants and activities to do in the area. The owners also offer to drive by tuk tuk if you're not the walking type. Such a great experience, we stayed an extra night. Oh and the coconut pancakes for breakfast were exceptional!!

Very friendly owners. The host drove us around in tuktuk to the local attractions and organised a safari for us. We were also served very good breakfast and dinner. The room is simple but clean. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very warm stay in Habarana.
