Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Todo.... la casa es muy acogedora, en la parte mas alta de Barichara y cerca a los lugares de mayor interes. Maria nos recibio con cariño y nos hizo sentir como en casa. Teniamos frutas y dulces de bienvenida y nos permitio cambiar de habitacion a pesar que habiamos reservado otra. El desayuno delicioso, con unas arepas Santandereanas exquisitas preparadas alli mismo. Pudimos compartir con otros huespedes y Maria a la hora del desayuno y como plus a mi madre le ofrecieron tintico temprano como en casa....Un lugar muy acogedor donde volveria indudablemente. Ad4mas son pet friendly.... mi perrhija estuvo feliz tambien.

Desde el primer momento recibimos una atención cálida y muy profesional, lo que hizo que nos sintieramos bienvenidos y cómodos. El lugar es encantador, muy limpio, bien cuidado y decorado con buen gusto. Además, su ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo lo necesario para disfrutar plenamente de la zona. Sin duda, repetiría mi estancia y lo recomiendo totalmente.

Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly cosy. The host was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. The house is full of fascinating artefacts that give it real character. There’s a fantastic walk to a nearby village that starts just 100 metres away. Many great restaurants in the village. Everything was great — if we had to mention anything, it’s that the towels could be a little thicker, but that’s a very minor detail. We would definitely return — a truly unforgettable experience.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2023The host Maria was fantastic!! Such a nice and welcoming family. Her son Esteban, very good in english was also very helpful. The place is charming full of antiquities and very clean, with an ideal location so close to the Mirador and a little 5 minutes walk to the town center as well. The room was very comfortable with a big bed, nice fan, hot water with a full pressure shower. Great homemade breakfast as well. Thank you Maria for your warm welcome and big smile!! Fully recommend!!
