De locatie is geweldig. Het eten is er ook heel erg goed. Het zithoekje bij het restaurant met de zitkussens is heel gezellig en je zit daar heerlijk met een cocktail 👍

De badkamer was gammel en donker. De traptreden naar de appartementen waren niet allemaal heel , daardoor soms best gevaarlijk. Er wordt weinig schoongemaakt en komt zeer gedateerd over. Het is ooit gebouwd en sindsdien zo gelaten. Heel jammer want de plek is geweldig

Saubere Anlage (unserer Meinung nach die schönste und authentischste von Gili Gede) mit einem wunderschönen Garten und vielen Gelegenheiten zum Verweilen. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten hilfsbereit, das Essen ist sehr lecker. Nette Musik im Restaurant. Ein idealer Ort zum entspannen. Transport wurde bestens organisiert.

Unsere „Villa“ war zwar mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, gut durchlüftet, die Dielen aber stark renovierungsbedürftig. Tür war nicht abschließbar, dafür gab es aber einen Safe. Keine Klimaanlage, dafür aber einen guten Fan an der Decke und einen separaten Ventilator. Der Pool war nicht benutzbar, zu verschmutzt. Das Meer lud nicht zum Baden ein, die Insel außerhalb der Anlage leider sehr, sehr vermüllt. Frühstück war etwas dürftig, man konnte aber auch noch etwas dazu bestellen. Aus der Dusche kam ein kleines Rinnsal, nur kaltes Wasser. Dennoch tat es uns leid, diesen tollen, erholsamen Ort nach 4 Nächten zu verlassen!!

Super casual, felt so homely and laid back, perfect to enjoy a holiday that feels much more real in terms of being in Lombok. Food was on point, scenery was perfect, staff were so welcoming. Would come again and again and again!

Номер не закрывался на ключ, но нам сказали, что, мол, никто ничего не возьмёт, а это вы слишком тревожные. Мы потом переехали в другой номер и там была мышь - она носилась всю ночь по стенам. Но ребята обещали с мышью разобраться)) Душновато в номерах, которые не продуваются, тк нет кондиционеров.

Idyllic location and fantastic food. The property has a lot of charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a great community hub in particular in the evening with lovely music and board games.

Our stay at Tanjungan Bukit was amazing! Alain helped us with organising transport from the airport and to the following location, as well as boat transfers and snorkling trip (highly recommended!). Girls working there are lovely, always smiling, very helpful and kind; it was really a pleasure staying at a place with such a good atmosphere! The restaurant is great, with a sand floor and a nice view. We had breakfasts and lunch there, as well as some coctails, and we can recommend everything. Traditional massage is also worth it! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The only two downsides were the burning of plastic in front of the hotel and very loud morning prayer at 5 a.m. (bring ear plugs ;).

Great atmosphere. Cosy. Relaxed. Unique rustic charm. Staff very helpful - around the resort and also booking snorkelling trips/ transport back to mainland. Felt very safe and looked after. Swimming pool clean and fresh cool water. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment provided free. Snorkelling great, just off the beach/ jetty. Lovely food at the restaurant. Serve alcohol. The included breakfast was fresh and tasty with varied choices. Multiple lounging areas provided.

We would have liked to extend our stay but unfortunately it was booked up. Will be back if ever in Lombok again.

Auberge où il fait bon vivre. Super accueil d Alain, français installé depuis longtemps. Terrasse et transats agréables pour flâner et profiter de la vue. Alain s est occupé de nous organiser un super tour en snorkelling (275k/personne) et à geré pour nous nos transferts en taxi. Chambre et draps propres . Je recommande de prendre une vraie crêpe bretonne et un super chocolat chaud! Merci!

What a great place this is. So welcoming and just a really nice place to be. The room we had was great with a lovely view. The restaurant is great, the food is of very high quality! The services offered, boat trips, transport etc are very good value and good luck trying to beat the boat or transfer prices! Communication pre visit was perfect and caring. The chill out area is so relaxing to just sit, eat, drink and talk. The reef just opposite is a lot better than I was led to believe it to be too. It's a really calming place and we loved it.

This is a small, rustic guesthouse that is off the beaten track and away from the partying and surfing crowds of the south. It’s a lovely relaxing place to stay for a couple of nights. We did a snorkelling trip to 3 spots on the adjacent Gilis, and this was fabulous.

The property was great. Gili Gede itself seems to be battling with many empty/closed resorts.

Alain et son équipe sont des gens accueillants et tellement sympathiques. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour avec nos deux enfants (8 et 10 ans). La situation est parfaite car nous avons pu aller faire du snorkeling facilement en allant sur la plage juste devant ou en prenant un bateau. Nous garderons d'excellents souvenirs de notre séjour, merci!

This place is in paradise! Very quiet and at one with nature. Right on the beach and lots of activities to do nearby including diving and snorkelling. Food and cocktails were amazing!

Die Unterkunft (das Zimmer) war offen, somit hatte es Ameisen im Zimmer und viele Mosquitos (das Mosquito Netz war veraltet und hatte Löcher). Die Toiletten funktionierte am ersten Tag nicht und die Dusche ist entweder an oder aus (kein Warm- und oder Kaltwasser).

Un petit hôtel charmant, calme et chaleureux, parfaitement entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses, avec une magnifique vue sur la mer, et le jardin tropical ainsi que la piscine créent un cadre idyllique pour se détendre. Le personnel est formidable et aux petits soins. Alain, le propriétaire, est particulièrement accueillant et sait mettre ses hôtes à l'aise dès leur arrivée. Il propose également, sur demande, de très belles activités telles que le snorkeling, la plongée ou encore le kayak, permettant de découvrir les merveilles de la région. La cuisine maison est excellente, préparée avec soin et toujours appréciée. La présence de nombreux clients fidèles témoigne de la qualité de l'établissement et de l'ambiance conviviale qui y règne. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Chambre très spacieuse, bien décorée. Petite terrasse agréable qui complète la chambre. Différents endroits très agréables pour se poser, avec vue mer. Espace repas les pieds dans le sable 😍 Beaucoup de choix pour les repas. Alain adore le contact et faire connaissance avec ceux qui le souhaitent, l'équipe est disponible et toujours avec le sourire, une très bonne ambiance règne à cette adresse ! Tout est très bien organisé et fluide : l'excursion snorkeling comme les transferts en bateau. C'est un vrai havre de paix pour tous ceux qui souhaitent se reposer et vivre l'instant présent avec simplicité !

The owner and the girls working there are very kind. The meals was delicious.

At first glance, the rooms seem very cozy, but in reality, they are poorly maintained and very dirty (cobwebs, ant nests, mold). You shouldn't be afraid of sleeping with large lizards, mice, frogs, and geckos. There is a lot of music outside (drums, singing).

Very nice and quiet place, with a view over water, hammock on a veranda, good food, nice decor. Recommended

The host and staff were some of the nicest people I have met. They were super helpful in organising logistics. The view onto the ocean is lovely. There are not too many rooms so you have privacy.

There was a gap under the front door meaning ants and other insects could get in freely. No air-conditioner. One old fan to cool down the entire room. The toilet was in the same section as the shower, there was no gap between them. The swimming pool is pretty gross, wasn’t very inviting to swim in.

Rooms were so hot and hard to sleep at night

Such a welcoming affordable homestay with a lot of thought put into the design. Owner Alain made us feel so comfy and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was amazing and views unbeatable and breakfast from the kind staff was suburb especially the crepe with our feet in the sand. A place to make memories Thankyou Alain and team ^_^

If people dont research they might be surprised to find no airconditioning as the huts have ventilation to outside. I loved the fresh island air and fans provided and time in the pool was enough to stay cool just dont be shocked its a homestay not hotel. More a slice of authentic island life.

Alain is a fantastic host. And the girls that work at the accomodation are fantastic. They laughed all the way and make it feel comfortable, especially for our daughter of 4 and son of 6. The food is also amazing, loved the cocktails and the pool is nice to cool down.

No water pressure on the showers and the swimming pool needs some love.

Sehr nettes Ambiente, zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür mit besonderem Charm. Sehr nettes Personal und ein sehr bemühter Gastgeber Alain.

Es ist schon einiges an Renovierungsstau aufgelaufen. Wir hatten Room 2 (mit Schiebetür) direkt am Pool. Bei starkem Regen topfte es durch das Dach in das Bad/WC. Das WC hat zwar eine Schwingtür ist aber ansonsten zum Raum hin offen, das muss man mögen!

Das beste Essen, was wir in Indonesien hatten. Es gibt tolle Ausflüge, die mir gemacht haben und Alan hat das für uns gemanagt. We liked the little bungalows.

The room needs a good clean, mostly dust and cobwebs. The water from the cold shower would run back onto the bathroom floor, which made the floor wet all the time. Comfy bed.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff team, beautiful location. Food was fantastic. Had a good walk around the Gili Gede island and borrowed kayaks and snorkelling gear from the property which let us explore the reef for 4 hours.

It is so peaceful here, the food is spectacular and Alain is such a friendly host. The staff are lovely. Did I mention the food? OMG, the food!!

We felt warmly welcomed like at no other place of our trip. Alain and his lovely team put a lot of effort and kindness into your stay with outstanding Indonesian food, their inspiring personality and hospitality without any limits in organising individual wishes. From the first moment we enjoyed our stay in this unique place the owener build by his own hands on the hill right next to the sea. Its natural and sustainable spirit is the soul of this little place you can experience. Of course a night in an air conditioned room with a hot shower is a nice thing to have. We discovered how to use the fan in the second night and felt then asleep right away after the refreshing water in the bath with the sound of the nature around us, we as humans are allowed to be guests of. It is a little wonder how Alain managed to make it happen for you to have electricity, fresh tap water from main land, a toilet, great food and the comfort of the shelter houses (btw: spider free thanks to the diligent Gekkos).

Eine wirklich wunderbare Unterkunft. Das Team ist dazu noch Weltklasse. Vom Check in bis zum Check Out fühlt man sich einfach willkommen. Die Unterkunft ist toll. Geräumig. Es gibt alles was man benötigt. Die Insel ist ein kleines Juwel. Wenn man irgendetwas benötigt muss man nur fragen. Die Wäsche wird gewaschen. Ein Transport organisiert. Eine Tour. Egal was. Dazu ist das Essen wirklich lecker im eigenen Restaurant. Grundsätzlich muss aber gesagt werden. Man muss die Natur mögen. Da dort alles offen ist, kommt auch mal ein Gecko guten Abend sagen. Aber ich mag es. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

The owner helped to arrange the land & sea transport from our last hotel. You can also book snorkeling with the lodge directly. Great food & staff, nice design of the lodge, nice sunrise view from the lodge.

There is no hot water or air conditioner, if you really mind these. The twin room is super hot during the day and night, as it is directly facing the rising sun and no balcony. Lots of mosquitos if you are the attractive type. Bring mosquito repellent. It may not be the best location in the island, nothing much around it.

Wonderful and peaceful stay Alain and his team were so kind and generous. The bungalows were lovely, it’s a small villa so it feels private! Great pool and fabulous restaurant - highly recommend the rendang and French food (loved the gorgonzola)! Alain kindly helped us arrange transport to and from Gili Gede, including drivers and boats, a fantastic snorkeling and island hopping tour, and a massage at the villa. Thank you Alain, Ita, and the rest of the team for such a special time!

Be mindful the bungalows are open air - the high thatched roofs and balconies are a lovely vibe add and bring you closer to nature, but as such the bungalow has open space between walls and doors.

Alain and his team were very nice. Its a wonderful easy-going island-vibe, the rooms are very comfortable. Its the bungalow vibe we looked for. the food is excellent, the had a big menu, we probably ate some of the best food in indonesia. You can take the Kajaks and snorkeling gear which is also very nice.

Nous avons adoré ce savant mélange de décontraction et de professionalisme qui fait qu’un séjour se révèle formidable. Tout porte à la sérénité : le cadre de cette ile, l’aménagement et la décoration des bungalows et du restaurant, la jolie piscine, la bienveillance et le sourire de toute l’équipe ... Et en plus ils sont super efficaces : Nous nous sommes régalés à chaque repas pris sur place, la gestion des arrivées et des départs avec bateau et taxi est parfaite, l’oganisation d’activités sur place est au too Un grand merci à Alain et son équipe, les 5 jours passés avec vous ont été très agréables et nous sommes repartis avec une belle pointe de nostalgie. Votre enthousiasme à faire que le séjour de chacun soit ́réussi restera gravé dans nos mémoires ... et dans notre coeur.

Tout était parfait pour nous mais juste un conseil : Nous sommes en pleine nature ... ne pas avoir peur des petites bêtes notamment des geckos.

L’accueil est exceptionnel, on s’y sent vraiment bien dès la minute où on arrive, tout est pensé avec attention. C’est un endroit très calme et apaisant j’ai adoré. Les repas sont vraiment délicieux. J’ai beaucoup aimé la chambre, spacieuse, tout est construit et décoré avec goût. Plusieurs endroits pour se poser et la piscine vue mer est aussi très agréable… bref je ne vois pas ce qu’il pourrait y avoir de plus !!!

La cuisine et le personnel au top.

Pas de climatisation dans les chambres mais ça fait du style de l’hôtel

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel typique et proche de la nature. Alain nous a fait partager ses diverses expériences et sa connaissance des lieux. Il a lui même mis en œuvre ce petit hôtel de 5 chambres, si vous voulez un hôtel avec un confort occidental ce n’est pas la peine de vous arrêter ici. Il n’y a pas de Clim il y a un des ventilos, des chambres sans plafond qui laissent passer les habitants du quartier ( comprenne qui peut) comme les geckos 🦎. Cet hôtel est proche de la nature comme l’a voulu Alain et sa personnalité atypique. Bref on aime ou pas nous on a adoré, la sortie snorkelling est à faire absolument, nettement plus naturelle que les Gili du nord. Une cuisine excellente

So ein schönes Hotel, mit vielen liebevollen Details dekoriert. Das Essen im Restaurant ist fantastisch und Cocktails gab es auch. In der Chill-Lounge einen Cocktail genießen und auf das Meer blicken - herrlich. Wir haben im Hotel einen Schnorchelausflug gebucht und waren tatsächlich ganz alleine im Boot mit unserem Guide unterwegs. Abends kann man einen kleinen Spaziergang auf die andere Seite der Insel machen und von dort den Sonnenuntergang bestaunen. Wir haben im Hotel auch eine Massage gebucht, die wirklich außerordentlich gut war. Auch den Weitertransport kann man problemlos im Hotel buchen. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Es gibt keinen wirklichen Badestrand vor dem Hotel, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Die Zimmer haben nur einen Ventilator und da man nachts das Netz um das Bett schließen sollte, war es unter dem Netz heiß und stickig.

I enjoyed the simplicity of the place, and the staff were lovely. The island is beautiful, and if you don't need much, this place is great. Thanks to the amazing staff and owner. The geckos can be loud - you're in their territory. This place has character - it was lovely.

The bathrooms could of been better, as we had no hot water. Be mindful, its oldschool and simple - we liked that! No AC got a little hard. My friend didn't enjoy the mattress of our bed. The staff made your bed everyday which made up for it for me.

Decore, staffs and food are super. Inroom safe is a plus

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, die Mädels die dort arbeiten sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Der Schnorchelausflug der vom Gastgeber organisiert wurde war total super.

Wir hatten drei Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach der ersten Nacht wieder abgereist. Unser Zimmer hatte offene Dachbalken, und nachts sind Ratten in unser Zimmer gekommen. Sie liefen über die Nachtische, durchs Regal, und über unsere Sachen, die wir abends im Regal abgelegt hatten. Versuche sie zu verscheuchen waren nicht erfolgreich, sie kamen immer wieder. Wir sind echt nicht zimperlich, haben schon im Dschungel und in sehr einfachen Unterkünften übernachtet, aber das war ein anderes Level. Als wir am nächsten Morgen den Besitzer informierten, war er nicht überrascht. Er dachte schon wir hätten was wirklich schlimmes wie eine Schlange gesehen. Und so wäre es nunmal in solchen Ländern, da gibt es Geckos, Lizards,.. Wir sagten dann, dass wir mit Geckos kein Problem haben, mit Ratten aber schon und fragten, ob wir das Zimmer wechseln könnten, da wir hofften das andere Zimmer ein geschlossenes Dach haben. Dann wurde er recht unfreundlich und sagte wir könnten jederzeit gehen. Beim Ausschecken haben wir dann nochmal diskutieren müssen, da er wollte das wir alle drei Nächte zahlen. Nach längeren Diskussionen einigten wir uns auf 2 Nächte.
