For our bicycle tour of Ireland, it was a good place to rest and relax and be ready for the next day’s ride!
Nice staff, accommodating, great breakfast
Établissement bien situé au calme avec un parking. Belle chambre et bon lit. Hôte accueillante.
Wonderful hostess

Amazing property, very clean, minute away from town, it was a pleasure to stay at this property. Owner friendly and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this spot.
We stayed 2 nights for the Killarney rally. We had a great experience friendly and helpful owner. Room was lovely comfy open space. Will definitely be back
No buckfast freezing cold complaining about electric use

The hosts were very kind and gave us a warm welcome upon check in and throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious and had a coffee and tea station which was appreciated. They had great bathroom facilities as well. Only a short drive to the town centre, so location of house was in a quiet area.
The host Liz was extremely friendly and very helpful with local knowledge
Bed was comfortable
There appeared to be a motion detector in the room. It felt intrusive. She was up when we left. Dropped my earring on the floor and it was very dirty under the bed but otherwise the room was clean. Host texted about water conservation while I was taking a shower. Didn't know there was a water shortage in Ireland. I did not see it until the next morning as my phone goes to sleep mode after 8 pm. We were charged at least double for a night's stay compared to the usual rate. I understand that it was booked last minute so ok. A one night stay and not near the center was over-priced for what it was. Then the snarky comment from the host to a possible guest stating that they hope the traveler finds a hotel within their budget for peak season. There are more such comments in the ratings if you care to look. We were tired and had not eaten. She was good about our late arrival as we had been traveling all day; giving her credit. However, we did not feel comfortable about the whole situation when we left. Should have paid to stay at a hotel; it wasn't peak season.
Excellent location, very spacious room, nice and comfy bed ! For sure, I will book it again. Great job !
Great location, close to Gap of Dunloe and Carrauntoohill walking trails. Short drive to town to great restaurants and pubs.
All good. Nothing to dislike.
Friendly hostess,
Location, quiet, good parking.

The host was wonderful, very helpful, and engaging.
We booked what was described as "king room", expecting a large double bed or king bed. Particularly important us as we are tall. Sadly we both slept little as our feet hung off the bed end and was too narrow for us. We arrived too tired to want to discuss it with the lovely host, so put up with it. We can't recommend it for anyone over 186 ish cm. Coupled with a sticky tape repared remote for the very small t.v. The icing on the cake was when my wife jammed her hand painfully between the bathroom door handle and door jam as the door handle is fitted so close to the edge of the door there is no room for a hand to hold it.
Our host was very hospitable and kind! Lovely clean and comfortable room. Nice shower and bathroom facilities! Would be great to add a breakfast!!
Nothing!!
Very impressed with the lady off the house she was very helpful to myself and my wife she brought us to town and was very helpful the bedroom was like a 5 star hotel I would book in next time great value for money john and Martha
Stayed here for one night and our host was very welcoming! She let us know where everything was and if we needed anything to let her know. So kind!
Guest House owner was delightful. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended
Nothing negative
Liz the host, was truly splendid and very accommodating.
A very clean guesthouse with great space for parking and exceptionally welcoming & friendly owners.
Nothing to dislike.
Very clean, very friendly.
I would recommend 100% to stay here, great location, beautiful property with nice size rooms and bathroom. Liz the host was amazing, she went above and beyond.....she really looked after us. I would happily stay here again.
There was nothing to dislike.
Peaceful
house found at the address provided was abandoned. There was no answer on the phone number provided. Had to seek other accommodations
Liz was extremely welcoming and helpful. Gave us lots of good local information and did all possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable - much appreciated!

The house was kept in new condition and was very upscale. The owner was very attentive, accommodating and helpful with our questions about the area.
What was not to like?!
Liz is a fantastic host. She went out of her way to help us get the most of our experience.
Very clean and quiet.
Owner was very nice, she met me at the door and made me some food since I got in late. I even made me booking same day and still had no problems checking in. Highly recommend.
The host was very nice and pleasant. The location was very residential so safe and quiet. The room was neat and spacious. The bathroom was very tidy and the cupboard and other few facilities were great to have. The host arranged the cutlery on request and offered the use of microwave even which was very helpful.
The cost of the room could have been slightly cheaper now that we got to stay in many more rooms later on.
Breakfast was very disappointing.
it was clean
we were greeted with I don’t serve cooked breakfast at €190 a night ??? outrageous. continental breakfast consists of a mug plate spoon and knife. a yogurt a flask of boiling water a jar of instant coffee and 1 Barry’s tea bag my husband had corn flakes. we were given toast and bread bread that was still partially frozen No Irish hospitality there just rip off Ireland an embarrassment for our country
The property was absolutely perfect and our host was beyond amazing. She was extremely kind and welcoming. Our room was so clean and our linen smelled so good and fresh.
everything was perfect !
Location, cleanest, quiet.

Liz greeted us so warmly and had our room ready and waiting for us. The room and en suite bathroom were impeccably neat and clean and the bed was, oh, so comfortable! We wound up staying two nights because we loved the accommodation, the proximity to attractions and our host!!
The winter temperatures were unusually low while we were in the area and the floor in the bathroom was shockingly cold. We wound up using one of the towels as a bathmat to keep our feet off the cold tile. Other than that, our stay was perfect!
The beds were the best we sleep on. Rooms and private baths were wonderful
Liz the owner is the best comfy bed and great location. just 5 min drive from the center.
water pressure in the shower could be better.
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Green Acres - the owner is so welcoming and kind, she maintains the rooms impeccably (so so clean!) and the location is perfect as a jumping off point for a drive around the Dingle peninsula, which is what we did the morning following checkout. We appreciated the lovely continental breakfast, the nice hot shower and the warm hospitality!
Really enjoyed my stay at Green Acres. Liz and her family were so welcoming, it really felt like a home from home. They went above and beyond to help me when I arrived without the footwear I needed to climb Caurrantoohil! The room was comfortable and spotless and the house is conveniently located just outside Killarney.
Super host, good recommendations for evening meals, lovely breakfasts
We had the most enjoyable time staying in Green Acres.A beautiful bed and breakfast which catered so well for us. Run by a lovely, caring couple who went beyond the call of duty to make our holiday most enjoyable. We are so grateful for everything.
Liz, the owner, could not have been more obliging. Went down the night before a business meeting and just needed somewhere comfortable, clean and reasonably priced to have a shower and rest my head for the night. Liz and the guest house delivered in spades. Beautiful clean spacious room with light airy spotlessly clean en suite bathroom. She even provided full size toiletries which was just as well since I forgot my shampoo. Just a few miles from Killarney Town. Very close to beautiful Killarney lakes and mountains. I will definitely return. And I would recommend Green Acres Guest House to anyone.
Anne and John were excellent hosts and made are stay very comfortable
Lovely clean room with a nice big bed and classy modern en suite and shower!. Super friendly and accommodating hosts. No complaints at all.
Nothing to report.
easily accessible, clean, homey and welcoming. Liz offered us so many great tips on local venues, attractions and a route of the Ring of Kerry. she is a shining star.
