Hazelbrook Killarney

It was a pretty straightforward stay. A room in a house with parking. The neighborhood was pretty but no sidewalks and cars came through quite quickly.

Excellent stay at this guest house. Located right north of town on a quiet street. We were here 4 nights so we could explore the area. There is so much to do here we could have stayed longer. We were in room 1. The room was very large with a nice big window. The king size bed was very comfortable. Hazel texted to check in on me several times during my stay to see if we needed anything and confirm the temperature was to my liking (which it was). We had fresh towels daily and access to a kitchen.

Very clean and well equiped. Hazel very attentive.

Only thing that could be done is a welcome sheet in each room or a link setting out some details - eg can we use the lounge at the front of the property? Can we cook hot meals in the communal kitchen, was the milk in the fridge and the biscuits set out for common use.

Juste un petit bémol sur la pomme de douche d'une chambre qui est à remplacer rapidement, mais rien de bien grave..

M'ha agradat la netedat i el comfort de l'habitació. També les vaques de devora són molt gracioses.

Es gab eine separate große Küche mit guter Ausstattung. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber. Bei geschlossenem Fenster war es angenehm ruhig. Hinter dem Garten grasten Kühe.

Es war mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen aber doch außerhalb des Ortes. Das Zimmer war ebenerdig und von außen sehr einsichtig. Eine stärker befahrene Straße führt vor dem Haus vorbei. Bei geschlossenem Fenster konnten wir aber sehr gut schlafen.

It was a great location with parking on site. It was spotless. We were able to use the kitchen facilities… fridge, microwave tea/coffee/biscuits . The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely comfortable room and bed. Kitchen and grounds are lovely. My son loved the guitars in the sitting room as he plays guitar. A homely but very clean comfortable stay.

Una struttura elegante e pulita, dotata di una cucina piena di tutto quello che occorre. La proprietaria, super gentile, ci ha atteso nonostante un piccolo ritardo, ma eventualmente il self check in (che è previsto dalla struttura) avrebbe reso tutto molto comodo.

A seconda delle abitudini, la stanza può risultare un po' fredda in una giornata piovosa perché è senza riscaldamento. Noi ci siamo inizialmente messi un maglione in più, ma le coperte del letto erano abbondanti e calde e siamo stati molto bene.

L'hébergement est situé dans un quartier résidentiel calme en dehors du centre ville.

La chambre était glaciale, chauffée sur une courte période insuffisante ne permettant d'atteindre une température agréable. De même pour la salle de bain, qui était très basique et exiguë, sans shampoing ni autres commodités habituelles. Nous n'avons vu personne pendant les 2 jours de notre séjour et avons quitté les lieux sans voir quiconque. En résumé, c'est très en dessous de nos attentes compte tenu du prix.

It was very clean and tidy a nice quiet area to stay which we loved no loud road traffic could use the kitchen for tea coffee etc would stay again we went to the bike fest in Killarney which was a brilliant event and not to far away to travel into it

The hosts were excellent and gave us good recommendations for activities in town. Also, parking was easy and the location was easy to find.

Comfortable bed and beautiful room. Quiet and clean house. Guest kitchen which was wonderful for putting drinks in refrigerator. Loved the extra touches like the heated towel rack. The hosts were delightful and helped us plan our trip on the ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula. Would definitely recommend!

The was nothing we disliked.

La zona residenziale molto carina purtroppo lontana dal centro per cui per una colazione un po' sostanziosa abbiamo dovuto prendere la macchina e andare in città . Ma, volendo, la gentilissima proprietaria ci aveva messo a disposizione la cucina solo che per una sola notte non era comodo

La stanza adiacente alla nostra dove ha dormito la coppia dei nostri amici era molto fredda

The hosts hazel and her husband were exceptionally lovely and welcoming people. We will definitely be staying here again. The room was amazing and the bed was massive , it was all so clean it was just like walking into a 5 star hotel.

The house was honestly perfect. Very comfortable and in a great location! Great shower. Super hot water. Heaters worked great. The owner was amazing! We had a very last minute issue with our reservations at a different location and very last minute booked a stay at Hazelbrook. Took a little bit for all of the booking and communications to get sorted out and the owner met us and sorted things out within minutes. This was one of our favorite stays on our trip and I want to make another trip just to come back to Killarney at stay at the hazelbrook. The pub around the corner also had the best beef and Guinness pie that I've had in several trips to Ireland.

That we only stayed one night! Our whole group regretted that we hadn't booked it for a week to really enjoy the area and location more. There was zero things we didn't like.

Camera molto ampia, silenziosa e molto luminosa, arredata molto bene con mobili moderni, con finestra sul giardino di una splendida villa in zona residenziale a 10 minuti dal centro di Killarney. Cucina in comune super attrezzata, parcheggio compreso nel cortile. La proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo.

Shower gel was missing in bathroom.

La habitación era muy grande, la cama súper grande y cómoda, la dueña muy amable y la casa con todas las facilidades posibles. También podíamos usar la cocina.

Por decir algo, diría que se oye un poco a los demás huéspedes, pero nada molesto.

It was close to the venue we went to for a wedding. The room (and any other areas) were spotless, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, really appreciate it!!

The bed was beyond comfortable. It felt like you were sleeping in your own bed. It was also walking distance to a pub that had excellent food.

That we didn't get to spend more time there. We had flights already planned.

It was extremely clean and well presented. The facilities were good, the bed comfortable and we had our own ensuite bathroom.

Immaculate clean house and room. Loved that you could make tea and coffee and get water in the communal kitchen. Very comfy bed.

It was an excellent stay! The room, location, and host were all outstanding. We are happy that wee have another one night stay later this week. We were also pleased to find that there was a good pub one block away.

It was a lovely place. They were great even followed us to airport to return our car and took us back to the property.

We loved our stay at Hazelbrook! Hazel was a wonderful host. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom fantastic. Good kitchen. Quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for our base to do the ring of Kerry drive and access to Killarney national park!

Friendly owner, clean rooms, use of kitchen to cook meals is great after eating out all the time when travelling. Close to everything and the bed extra comfortable is a big plus.

We had a very nice and large room. Hazel is a friendly person who was very willing to help us where needed. We liked that we could use the kitchen for breakfast and dinner and eat what we most like, after having to go out for diner all the time. It was a quiet place. Also a nice sitting room with large tv.

It was a bit far out of the city centre, so we went there by car.

Beautiful setting and very quiet area. Our room very tastefully decorated. Good ensuite shower. Loads of informative brochures. I met Hazel, a very welcoming lady. Kept in touch with us during our stay to see if there was anything else she could help with. The bed was so comfortable, slept like a baby!

Fabulous stay! Wonderful hosts are very warm and friendly. Lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Great information on local and not so local attractions. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend. We'll be staying here again for our next visit!

Hazelbrook is located away from hustle and bustle of tourism central. Our king room was newly decorated, spacious and bed was super comfy. Self serve kitchen was available for breakfast and snacks. Local pub serving pizzas was only a stumble away. Plenty of on-site parking.

No washing facilities but a laundrette is a short drive away.

Very friendly and helpful owners on site. Room was spacious and accommodations were wonderful. Great location. The town of Killarney has a lot to offer.
