Waking up to a delicious breakfast and friendly conversation made my stay even better. The host was away but Joyce made me feel like family. This place has so much heart. I left feeling refreshed and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026The establishment is centrally located. It's an easy 5 minute drive to the closest shopping complex and about 10-15 minutes to the larger malls. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and there are lots of thoughtful touches to the room. The decor is very tasteful and the place is perfect for both business and pleasure. Would definitely come back.
The room we stayed in is incredibly cold. Unfortunately, the heater and electric blankets don't work properly so please pack extra warm lounge/sleepwear. However, an extra blanket is included in the cupboard - a very thoughtful touch! The shower floor felt very soapy, like it hadn't been scrubbed properly, so I'd recommend bringing shower slippers.

The accommodation was comfortable and beautiful, but what truly made our experience amazing was the kindness of the owners and staff! They went above and beyond to help us during a difficult time. They were very thoughtful and always willing to assist with anything we needed! I really recommend this beautiful place!

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Breakfast was great, if you're planning an early start to Kruger, weekends breakfasts start at 8, 7 on weekdays - Forty IV on Hoog is easy to find, check in is at 2pm - Polkwane is mostly laid out as a grid pattern and very easy to find off the main N4 and only one right turn to get you back on the road to Phalaborwa gate.

Carlien and her staff were amazing and Caesar the Peterbald cat of nearly 13 years was a real treat for me. The detail in the room & bathroom is absolutely exceptional. Well done!

The owners of this place have really thought about everything one can need. It really is a home away from home. Beautifully decorated, spacious and a quiet garden/pool area. The bowl of fresh fruit was also a nice touch. Definitely worth a visit

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026I liked everything from the pool to the area and even the maids, they were so friendly and nice. The place was jus' a wonderful experience for me and I would like to head back there one day.
The fact that I didn't try out any of their breakfast meals. The meals were my fault of course. Reason being im a heavy sleeper so I wasn't able to wake up at the correct time to go and have the breakfast...that's my fault.
