Disfrutamos mucho de la estancia. El personal muy atento. La habitación era amplia y siempre limpia. Nos dejaron bicicletas para recorrer la isla y toallas de playa.

The hotel answered all our questions and secured a speed boat ticket for us. We were met at the harbour and taken in a buggy to the hotel, where we were greeted with free coconut drink and chilled wet face towels to cool down after travel. We were also pleased to find out that the hotel accepts old dollars (before 2009), because not every one in the Maldives does. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and also kind enough to take us on a little trip around the island just to show us where everything was. The hotel rooms were being cleaned every day, there was a shampoo and a shower gel in the bathroom (although no bar soap, no toothbrushes and no toothpaste, but we had our own ones, so it wasn't a problem). There was also plenty of towels (including the beach ones), and they were changed daily. Furthermore, the room had an electric kettle, tea-bags, sugar and coffee sticks. Drinking water was always available and we were offered free coffee whenever we want. The room had enough space and furniture to place all our belongings. The hotel also has its own loungers on the beach, so we didn't have to worry about coming early to get one. And a super cool feature was the unlimited access to fins and masks for free! That's really amazing, because there's plenty of colourful fishes in the water, we couldn't stop watching them. Small sharks, rays, dolphins and sea turtles were also frequent guests near our beach. And if that isn't enough, the hotel also offers excursions to the nearby UNESCO biosphere reserve. The prices are high enough, but I was lucky to see about 25 manta rays and even Her Majesty Whale Shark, so I think it was worth it! My friend went on a another day though and was less lucky: she only saw 5 mantas and no shark. But you can inquire in advance what your chances are, as the guides monitor their activity in real time. Overall it was an amazing stay and I wanna say thank you to all the hotel stuff, the host and the guides.

A major drawback was that big cockroaches appeared twice in our bathroom behind the toilet, despite all the windows being closed. We called the manager, he put them away, sprayed the place with some bug spray, left the spray for us to use and apologised, but still it was an unpleasant experience and we sincerely hope that the hotel will do something to avoid such incidents in the future. A few minor things: 1) We'd been told that a hotel representative would meet us at the airport holding a sign with our names on it, but among many people with signs awaiting at the airport, there was nobody with our names on the sign, nor at least with the name of our hotel. However, some people were really helpful, so it wasn't much of a problem, they pointed us in the right direction and contacted out hotel, so everything got sorted out in the end. 2) On Booking we requested two separate twin beds and our request was confirmed, but when we arrived we still found the beds put together to make one king-size bed. When we pointed that out, the stuff fixed it though, so it was fine in the end. 3) Maybe it was my mistake, but somehow from the Booking website I got the impression that the breakfast that was included in the price was gonna be a buffet. In reality, we stayed at the hotel for 8 days, and it wasn't until the 5th day of our stay (when more guests arrived) that we finally got the buffet breakfast. Before that we'd been server pretty much the same stuff every day, maybe because there'd been only two of us. The food was fine, although not very diverse: mas huni (traditional Maldivian dish), omelette, bread, muffins and fruit, plus water, juice and tea/coffee to drink. The buffet table also included sausages and chicken nuggets, so that was at least something to choose from, would've been nice to have that from the start.

Unvergesslicher Aufenthalt mit unglaublich tollen Schnorchelausflügen und sehr gastfreundlichem Personal. Die Ausflüge sind unglaublich gut. Es wird jeden Tag mit einer Drohne gescoutet und wenn Tiere gefunden wurden und die Bedingungen gut sind, geht es los. Wir haben dadurch einen Walhai und 30 Mantarochen gesehen, die wenige Zentimeter an einem vorbeischwimmen. Die Ausflüge zu den Riffen waren auch toll, mit vielen Haien und Schildkröten. Am Hausriff kann man auch mit der Schnorchelausrüstung auf Erkundungstour gehen. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und herzlich, man fühlt sich wie bei seiner Familie. Die Insel mit den kleinen Buchten und dem blauen Wasser lädt auch für Entspannungstage ein. Das Team hilft auch beim Transport auf die Insel. Ich würde 7 Tage empfehlen, damit man bei den besten Bedingungen mit den Rochen Schnorcheln kann. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The staffs made our stay 10/10! Very attentive, willing to drive us around the island. They have two hotels, the other one in front of the beach which we could use the facilities. The tours were also amazing, the owner made sure we had the best experience to see mantas and snorkelling was very nice. I would stay here again if I go back to Dharavandhoo. I highly recommend

Огромная благодарность Джону, который готов отвечать на миллион вопросов и делает всё, чтобы гостям было комфортно. Такое ощущение, что приезжаешь в гости к хорошим друзьям или любимым родственникам, которые готовы заботиться о тебе от души :) Очень чисто, уборка каждый день, есть питьевая вода, можно взять бесплатно маски (хорошие, не пропускают), трубки и ласты. До бикини пляжа 5-7 минут пешком, хоть и гостевой дом находится совсем не на берегу. Есть велосипеды, которые можно бесплатно использовать. Ещё обязательно берите экскурсии - это невероятный опыт! Мы ездили на поиск скатов манта (в марте несезон - в большом количестве скаты манта приплывают в августе-октябре), и это было очень круто! Воспоминания на всю жизнь! Сам гостевой дом не новый, но у хозяев открылся ещё один отель - Biosphere Beach, на самом берегу. Обеды и ужины у нас проходили в том отеле, всё было невероятно вкусно! На 8 марта организовали праздничный ужин, красиво всё украсили, было приятно :) Спасибо огромное за отдых!

La struttura è carina e sicuramente un grosso affare per l’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. L’isola in sé per sé non è particolarmente bella.

Tout était très bien, le personnel est très professionnel et très accueillant. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. Le ménage est fait tout les jours. Des excursions sont proposées tous les jours. Merci John pour votre gentillesse et votre bienveillance. Les patrons sont également toujours là pour voir si le séjour est confortable

This guest house was perfect, great location, solid rooms. But it's the staff that really make the experience stand out. We came here to snorkel with mantas and whale sharks and every morning they did their best to make that happen. 10/10 would and WILL be staying here again.

The best service I have ever experienced. The staff was beyond helpful and very friendly. I have not enough words to describe how grateful I am for choosing this property. A lot of excursions are available to book directly at the property since they have their own boats. The island is very pretty and lots of places to explore near the island. We will definitely come again.

Very friendly staff, who couldn't do enough for us. Lovely to be met by John at the airport who drove us back to the hotel in the buggy. John gave us a tour of the island and would take us to the beach in the buggy. There are bikes available (free) to use to get around the island. The hotel arranged a variety of boat trips run by the hotel. Especially memorable was the snorkeling trips to see the manta ray. The staff on the boats are very knowledgeable especially Ahmed, specials thanks goes to Shayaante who looked after my wife and friend who were nervous snorkeling.

The staff and manager were absolutely superb, very sweet and accommodating. We stayed here for one night before getting on a boat and had a great stay. Food was excellent and room was comfortable with a great shower and AC. The manager even drove us around to find some missing items for our trip and took us to and from the airport.

I opted for the Full board option, however I wasn't impressed with the Full board menu I felt that the portions could have been larger.

Отношение к гостям как в семье - максимум заботы! Благодарю за прекрасную организацию поездок к Мантам и Китовым акулам - ездили 4 раза. Также понравились наши небольшие группы на экскурсиях. Понравилась вечерняя рыбалка. Однозначно самый лучший трансфер на острове и самый вкусный рис (есть с чем сравнить). Очень удобные матрасы, свежее бельё и прекрасная уборка каждый день! Номер просторный и светлый с балконом и с сушилкой, в номере чайник. Холодильник на ресепшен, но им тоже можно пользоваться для хранения. На пляж можно ездить на велосипеде отеля. Дочке дали маску когда наша стала подтекать.

Немного маловаты односпальные кровати.

Es war ein toller Urlaub. Die Freundlichkeit aller Angestellten ist einmalig. Jeder Wunsch wurde sofort erfüllt. Die Schnorchelausflüge haben alles erwartete übertroffen. Delfine, tolle farbige Fische, unzählige Mantas und Walhaie konnten wir dabei in Natur erleben. Es wird uns ein unvergessliches Erlebnis bleiben. Dankeschön an alle Beteiligten

The hotel is clean, airy and spacious. The staff are extremely helpful, particularly John from the front of house staff and Ahmed who ran the boat trips. We had a brilliant time.

What a great hotel on a beautiful island. The staff were amazing. The room was large, clean and comfortable what more could you ask for. My sister and I had a brilliant stay here. The trips from the hotel were excellent and very reasonable. The food was good. Breakfast was a little basic but nothing wrong with it. The free use of the hotel bicycles was so useful. The only thing for us was with no balcony there was no where to sit outside in the evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The island it is on is beautiful, great tourist beach with fabulous reef, there is a grocery store and restaurants everything you could need really.

The host Hamdhan is incredibly kind and takes care of his guests very well. He helped us with the travel options from the airport and is in general a great guy <3 You can ask for excursions and get a good variety of options adapted to what makes the most sense in the season/week. The breakfast is simple but delicious and you can have your breakfast eggs as you wish. The rooms have decent AC and we felt comfortable at all times.

My stay was too short.

The hospitality at the Biosphere Inn was exceptional, Hamdhan and his team are friendly and knowledgeable. They organised extras for us that went over and above what i expected! breakfast was lovely and the Dhal served in the evening was delicious. i will definitely be coming back.

Very clean and nice ambience. U can have bikes here and ride around the island. The stuff is very friendly and willing to help u in any way which very nice.

Amazing stay, we spent 3 amazing nights at Biosphere inn, John is incredible person, he met us helped with luggage, then greeted us with coconut and cold towels, the room was clean, the owner of the hotel is also amazing person, we enjoyed our stay, food is so good, service is amazing, we went to snorkeling twice and its was my first time and I really really enjoyed it, they are professionals and you will really enjoy everything, John was the best part of this whole trip, he was beside us the whole time and whenever we needed help he was just there, took us wherever we wanted at night or morning he is always there to help. Thank you so much Biosphere inn for making our trip the best and hope to see you again soon. Highly recommended hotel to stay.

This group do things well - clean and airy rooms, airport transfers, meals, daily tour arranging…enabling both adventure and rest in a paradisal setting.

This was a great two night stay. The Biosphere Inn is a clean, comfortable, friendly place from which to enjoy the beaches and snorkeling--a ten minute walk away--of Dharavandhoo. The food is very good and the rooms are spacious. A special thank you to John for helping me rearrange travel off the island in a budget-friendly, convenient way!

I would give the Biosphere Inn a 10+ if it were further from the airport and closer to the beach!

The Host (Saddath) and the Receptionist/Guest Relations Officer (John) were very friendly and helpful. The room provided was clean, spacious and smelled nice, too. Biosphere Inn also carry out their own excursions. They would inform you about the snorkelling trips planned for the day well ahead. They provided the snorkelling equipment. They were flexible about payments. You can pay when you are leaving. They were also helpful during the snorkelling sessions. They also provide footage of your snorkelling sessions. Highly recommend this place if you want to visit Baa Atoll.

Some of the snorkelling equipment they provided was damaged. The water leaked in through the mask and the mouthpiece during the session. So inspect the snorkelling gear you use before jumping into the water. The room AC might need cleaning/repair because it wasn't cool enough.

I recently stayed at biosphere inn and had a fantastic experience. This has been by far my best stay in terms of hospitality. Special shoutout to the hotel manager John he contacted me post booking and was always there to reply on WhatsApp for any query. He booked my return flight domestic ticket from male to dharaavandho without any advance just on sheer trust, when we arrived at airport we was there to pick us up. The first day he took us on the golf cart and gave the island tour. Everyday whenever we stepped out he was there to drop us and pick us up even if we didn't ask him. We are vegetarian so he always made sure to add a good vegetarian dish in the breakfast, he gave us free snorkelling gears,bicycles. The rooms were cleaned everyday and were very spacious ,got unlimited water . Every room already had universal adaptor. One very special mention about John we had our return flight to male at 7 am and we had to leave by 5:30 am for the airport he made sure to pack our breakfast by 5:00 am and dropped us , I have never seen any hotel doing that. They also provide a snorkelling excursion at a good price the owner himself is a guide , we went for Whale Shark snorkelling at night for 40$ per person where as for the same thing other shops had asked 80$. We also went for manta ray snorkelling with them and they were always the first one to reach since they had their own boat and they usually took 6-7 people it is very good for those who want to avoid crowds.

If you're hesitating between Biosphere and other hotels, go with Biosphere – it's the best on the island. The staff was absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Upon arrival, I was stuck in Malé due to not having a ticket (all speedboats and flights were fully booked), but one of the owners somehow managed to find a solution in no time. I am extremely grateful for their help and support, because otherwise I'd have cancelled the trip. Communication was very smooth, they answer quickly to messages and always try to help. The staff at the hotel (reception, restaurant, etc.) was also extremely helpful, and the food was great. The room was very clean and cleaned daily, the best I've experienced on a local island in the Maldives. The excursions are phenomenal - with a little bit of luck, you'll be able to see many manta rays and whale sharks. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was perfect, location is excellent, the island is very small anyway.

Everything from the hosts side was perfect.

John, Ahmed and Hamdan would go to the moon and back to make you happy. They are the best. The hotel is cozy and clean, they offer plenty activities at a fair price but not force you to buy anything and organize transport for the island according to your other flights. They reply to whatsapp at all times and offer very good but discrete customer service. Food is good and reasonably priced. Big rooms with space to hang and put clothes, hot water and aircon work great. Free unlimited water, coffee and tea! Definetely recommend it!

I am really happy overall. If to say something you can hear the planes like everywhere else on the island as there is an airport. The room close to the kitchen is noisy starting at 6 30 to prepare for breakfast and you don't have much natural light from there. Room on the top floor does not get much water pressure. I would have loved sparkling water but you can get at the supermarket!

The people! Most exceptional and hospitable staff I have ever come across. Loved every bit of my Stay, the owners and the manager went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one.

Lovely accommodation in Dharavandhoo Island - it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and well airconditioned. Breakfast was yummy and varied. Staff was excellent - great communication! Wi-Fi worked well. Good location - easy walk to the restaurants and the Bikini Beach, as well as other beaches. Zero complaints, all compliments, and I would stay here again for sure when I come back!

One of the best decisions in all my travels in the Indian Ocean was to stay here and enjoy the warm hospitality of John and Hamdan. They will go above and beyond to meet your every need. John previously worked in 5 star resorts and you'll get top notch service. Breakfast great, lovely atmosphere and Hamdan will help you with day trip activities to the beautiful snorkelling sites or nearby islands. I would do anything to be back here again soon.

It was very nice that we could feel Maldivian atmosphere. The building and the interior felt local which put an extra to the experience. The price of the room is very little to the quality of what you get! The host was super helpful who have organized a private speedboat from Fulhadhoo island to Dharavandhoo since we missed the public ferry. We were also picked up from the harbor and met with coconut juice upon the arrival. The breakfast was Maldivian style and delicious. We have also ordered dinner which exceeded our expectations. The fish curry and traditional fish soup with rice was that what we wished for.

Biosphere Inn was like my second home. Guys took care of me, fed me delicious and satisfying food, and took me on the best snorkeling I could imagine. We swam with manta rays, sharks, stingrays and turtles. The house is clean, bright and spacious. I've been thinking about returning to the Biosphere Inn since I was there ❤️

The room is very clean and big, comfortable bed, good breakfast, everything was perfect. But the best part is John, the manager of the hotel. He is very helpful and really take care of you and your holidays, he makes everything to give you the best holiday. He is really a hard worker and super nice person. I will definitely come back :)

If I had to suggest something I think that the food can be improved. It wasn’t as good as other places I tried here in Maldives but still it was good value for money because it was already included in the stay.

This is a cute Inn, in the heart of Dharavandhoo, a quiet and charming local island. Throughout the week John was a great host, he was welcoming and friendly, doing anything to make my stay memorable. He organised excursions and was always happy to stop for a chat. Every evening we went to watch the sharks and sting rays getting fed in the harbour by local fishermen. Great breakfast and dinner options, ranging from local to European cuisine, I was stuffed every day. Nazuro is a great chef!

Ameen the host was very gentle and helpful. I liked the location and the room upstairs were very comfortable.

Very nice and cozy small hotel with pleasant and very attentive personnel. It is comfortable as well as for short and long stay. Perfect kitchen, diversified menu. Room was cleaned regularly, wifi worked stable. Manta tour was wonderful! John, Ahmed and Nuzurl made fantastic job for good stay at Dharavandhoo. Thank very much you guys!
