Choosing it just for sleeping close to the airport, regrettably it was almost impossible to sleep due to the noise from the street, maybe it is only on the weekend but cars driving with super loud music and the property is located by the street

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Мы от аэропорта смогли ночью дойти пешком. Но это Тяжеловато конечно. Номер у нас был на втором этаже, поэтому надо было вещи поднимать. Номер большой, кухня вроде бы на несколько номеров, но мы были одни, поэтому была полностью в нашем распоряжении. Для того чтоб переночевать перед поездкой на другой остров отличный выбор! Кондиционер, горячая вода все есть!

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Staff super gentile e accomodante, ci hanno aiutato a prendere la cena take away! L appartamento è fornito di tutto ed accogliente. Presente micro-onde, toaster, forno, e anche fornelli a gas! Bagno e stanza molto grandi. Pulizia normale.
Camera un poʻ rumorosa essendo proprio sopra la provinciale. Se siete dei light sleeper vi consiglio dei tappi. Io ho il sonno pesante e non ho avuto problemi. L'areoporto dista 15min a piedi ma vi consiglio l,autobus visto che la strada è stretta e molto trafficata.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Ich bin abends in Mahe gelandet und die Unterkunft war schnell vom Flughafen zu erreichen. Groß und sauber. Zum ankommen war's gut und freundliches Personal.
Ich würde hier nicht für mehrere Tage bleiben wollen. Der Flughafen ist sehr nah und man hört schon morgens die großen Flieger landen. Ansonsten war alles soweit aber okay.

The location is very convenient, the accommodation is clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly, approachable, and always happy to help. I would definitely recommend renting a car, as it makes getting around and exploring the island much easier. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend Chez Payet to others.

Non sceglierei questa struttura per soggiornare più di una notte sull'isola, in quanto lontana dal mare e da altri servizi.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Le logement est situé à 1km de l'aéroport idéal pour une nuit avant le départ, l'appartement est propre est fonctionnel. La demoiselle qui nous a accueillis est adorable serviable vraiment top. La clim est ok le lit également la douche ok parfait pour une nuit de transit.
Je dirais juste attention l'hébergement est proche mais ne vous aventurez pas a y aller à pied car pas de trottoir en cours de réalisation depuis un an depuis l'aéroport c'est dangereux les voitures nous frôlent à toute allure, l'hôtel propose un contact pour le transfert prenez le !!!! Il est adorable est vous facilite la vie

Wzięliśmy 1 nocleg przed odlotem zeby po wymeldowaniu szybko przejsc z hotelu na lotnisko. Niestety mimo ,ze to okolo 1.4km to z bagażem jest to prawie nie mozliwe. Większość drogi trzeba isc po ulicy gdzie auta mijają Cie o pare cm. Mozna wziac taxi... Gdzie większość policzy sobie 300SCR o_O (da się zejsc do 150 jak sie poszuka). Suma w ogole nie adekwatna do odległości.

We had an apartment on top of the building without elevator and had to carry our heavy luggages. The storage downstairs was not available as we had to checkout at 6am. The apartment is also very dark with little light (bedrooms completely dark). The price is too high for what you get.

Расположение действительно удобное — до аэропорта можно дойти пешком. Однако стоит учесть, что дорога не самая комфортная, особенно если вы с чемоданами. В таком случае лучше воспользоваться такси — это отчасти нивелирует преимущество близкого расположения.

The accommodation is in quite noisy location - from one side is the main road, from the other the airport. The ceiling on top floor is at half of the room very low and there was not even shower curtain at shower in the bathroom.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Localização excelente. Funcionária super atenciosa e prestativa. A ilha tem muito trânsito em horários de pico portanto é ótima localização para evitar transtornos de horário com voos.
Único problema foi que o detector de fumaça ficou com baixa bateria no meio da noite e ficou apitando a madrugada quase toda. E como tínhamos voo cedo, colocamos tampões nos ouvidos e voltamos a dormir mesmo assim pois seria mais demorado tentar resolver. Mas algo pontual.

The property is close to the airport about 1km but would strongly recommend a local bus or transfer and not walking. There is no pavement and nowhere to step away from very fast moving and frequent traffic. Super clean and very well equipped. A small shop very close by and exciting when a large plane takes off. Both bus stops are to the left as you look out of the properties driveway. The first bus to the airport is 6am.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026We only spent one night here, before an early morning flight to the airport. The property is located on the main street and close to the airport - which was the main reason we chose this place. The apartment is simple, but very spacious and clean. Most of all, the host was so friendly and kind, and she was able to accommodate a request from us, for which we are grateful.
This is not an issue, just something visitors should be aware of, because it's not quite obvious. If you're staying at this property because it's within walking distance from the airport, and are travelling without a car and with sizeable luggage, you won't be able to walk to/from the property. The road has no pavement and has heavy traffic most of the time. A taxi can be arranged (though it will be expensive, even for a 2 minute drive).

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Le personnel est très gentil. L'appartement très bien équipé avec une supérette à 5min à pied. Nous avons pu attendre notre taxi dans une pièce climatisé.
La clim est uniquement dans la chambre et très bruyante... elle ne rafraîchie pas beaucoup. Quand au salon/cuisine seul un ventilateur y est installé donc relativement chaud (tout comme la salle de bain). Nous avons la sensation qu'il fait frais lorsqu'on arrive dans la chambre car il y a une différence de température entre le salon et la chambre mais au bout de quelques minutes il y fait chaud également...

It’s the perfect place to spend a night or two prior to flying home. Unfortunately, due to the situation in the Middle East our flight home was cancelled so we moved on.
It’s situated on a busy main road with few pavements to walk on.

In der Wohnküche ist keine Klimaanlage. Der Flughafen ist leider nicht so nah, wie angegeben. Zufuß mit Gepäck ist der Weg dorthin schwer machbar, weil teilweise nichtmal ein Gehsteig neben der vielbefahrenen Straße vorhanden ist. Ein Taxi zum Flughafen kostet 250 SCR, nicht gerade günstig.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Boa opção para uma noite, especialmente para quem precisa ficar próximo ao aeroporto, a cerca de 1,5 km. A acomodação é muito limpa, silenciosa e não tivemos qualquer problema com barulho durante a estadia. A cama e o chuveiro são adequados e há uma cozinha completa, o que ajuda em estadias curtas. A atendente foi simpática, prestativa e explicou tudo com clareza no check-in. No geral, atende bem para uma pernoite rápida.
Como pontos negativos, apesar da proximidade do aeroporto, o acesso a pé à noite não é recomendável, pois o trajeto passa por uma rodovia, com trechos escuros e pouca segurança, o que nos obrigou a usar táxi mesmo para um deslocamento curto. O local não oferece café da manhã e o valor da diária é alto em relação ao que é entregue na nossa opinião(aproximadamente 100 euros), resultando em um custo-benefício que não consideramos vantajoso.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Останавливались перед вылетом на 1 ночь. Прекрасно встретили, помогли с трансфером от парома и потом в аэропорт. Все чисто, для одной ночи нормально. Рядом магазин и аэропорт.
Достаточно кутая лестница, немного тяжело с чемоданами. Нам помогла занести девушка, которая встречала, вернее мы тащили его двоем.
