Aupic Paradise

I paid for an upgrade room due to the size and condition that cost me an additional $400 US and the AC didn’t work, the place smells. The bathroom toilet didn’t work, everything was a disaster. I didn’t enjoy my vacation. Breakfast was horrible! I asked for an omelette and was given 2 slices of bread and a slice of cheese. I paid US $12. I asked for a refund and they refused to return the cash in US dollars which they took minutes before. The staff is very rude and disrespectful. I will never return.

I paid for a room and the room was very, very small with No Air conditioning. The bathroom was clogged. The place smells. There is a constant smell coming from the septic tank. This place is horrible and unhealthy and unsafe.

The fridge was not on, they could have at least have some paper towels and tissues for the guest. The Ac did not work properly in two of the rooms. The management team should check to Make sure everything works before arriving guest and at least turn the AC and the fridge on the day when they know they will be receiving guest.

I loved that this property was available last minute after a flight was cancelled . It was extremely close to the airport and the staff were phenomenal

I need a quiet night and this I found at Aupic Paradise. Comfortable bed, clean room, everything was wonderful.

The room is basic but clean. The windows open on the communal balcony so it's a bit dark when you keep the curtain drowned. Good breakfast.

There wasn't any luggage storage facilities which turned out to be very inconvenient.

Chill. Good atmosphere in the evening.

Electric kettle did not work in the morning- shocked me slightly 😂. It was a great stay overall

It is 500 m from Micoud Highway and you catch a bus to go east or south. It is very convenient. I was in room 16 upstairs with a balcony to watch the sunrise. I was upgraded to a bigger room. There is a fridge and microwave and a kettle. They gave me a plate, a bowl and some utensils. I was there for 6 nights and explored all around. The staff is very friendly and there is a restaurant Para D downstairs open 3 pm to 10 pm.

Friday night is karaoke night downstairs and the music was super loud until very late, I had to wear earplugs.

Breakfast

Whilst it definitely isn’t in the heart of Saint Lucia it’s a lovely little spot to stay almost like an air bnb. The rooms were air conditioned and cleaner than the hotel we stayed in! All the necessities were provided with good sized rooms.

Lots of steps but the lovely gentleman with the crocodile chain helped us carry up our bags initially. The dining area was a little bit dark but we just turned on the lights when needed.

Location was a bit difficult to find

Our flight was cancelled and we had to find a place to stay and didn’t want to drive 1.5 hours to a resort. This small hotel was recommended. The front desk was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was not sure they were opening that night because the cook was not feeling well. We went off property with 5 other guests to a restaurant. We were all exhausted from a day at the airport with multiple delays and finally a flight cancelation. Upon arriving back to hotel from dinner we find out it’s Karoke night in the hotel courtyard/bar area. It is like an outdoor concert with the volume crazy high. Lots of clapping and loud voices. No ear plug would block out the extremely loud music that went on til 1 am. This apparently is an every Friday occurrence. Would have never booked had we known no one staying there would sleep until after 1am. It was torture.

Friendly staff. Very attentive our needs. High praise for all of them. Room was fine. Basic accommodation and very clean.

Good location.

Internet service kept disconnecting and was very slow. AC remote was problematic- temperature buttons were not working. Microwave and refrigerator could not be plugged in at the same time as there was only 1 outlet available.

Helpful staff. The staff helped us arrange transportation to our resort near Castries, which we appreciated. Nice restaurant for supper.

Breakfast was expensive for what one got: omelette & toast for $12USD. Plus we were offered instant coffee instead of real coffee. Quite a shock in modern times. We took tea instead. Hotel was far from everything except a little corner store and bar down a street with no sidewalk and fast drivers.

The close proximity to the airport. The convenience of a restaurant downstairs with outdoor dining. The bed was comfortable, rooms were spacious, everything was clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great staff.

I wasn’t suppose to stay the night in St. Lucia, but due to my missed connecting flight I was able to find this jewel. Property is 10-15 min from airport, very clean, room I spent the night in was huge and very comfortable. Staff was friendly, resourceful , and very accommodating.

Perfect accommodation for my requirements. I was able to work, relax as well as make quick trips to anywhere I had to go. Close to the hospital as i had a family member there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I wanted to change rooms to have another guest, and they were very expedient in facilitating. The room staff checked in to see if we needed anything like towels, sugar, etc. Good value for money, the rates were good, and I didn't feel robbed or disappointed. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay

This place is truly a slice of paradise! I wasn’t expecting much from the pictures but the rooms are clean, the water is hot, the staff is professional and they had breakfast!!! This is a winner. I stayed there after my flight was delayed 3 consecutive nights. This place took great care of me assisting with getting a taxi and just being kind.

One side of the hotel had a few dogs but they can’t control that. I stayed one night on the restaurant side of the restaurant and it was lovely and quiet.

Hospitable staff, clean place, very good value for money. The location is ideal for a short business trip in the south of the island, close to the airport and close to decent restaurents.

Even though breakfast was ordered, I had to again place the order when I arrived and had a bit of a wait in the morning. The restaurant was not open during the day so I had to get food elsewhere.
