Rien, juste une précision, un peu à l’extérieure de la rue principale de San Pedro il est nécessaire d’avoir une voiture.

La atención fue excepcional. Se nota en cada detalle el empeño que le ponen los anfitriones para hacer que la estadía sea muy buena. Desde el desayuno, las instalaciones y la limpieza, todo ha sido bastante agradable. Lo recomendaría claramente. La única recomendación es contar con vehículo propio o tener en cuenta que para ir al pueblo se requiere de transporte adicional. Sin embargo, vale toda la pena al ser un lugar tranquilo y excepcional para descansar.

Nos encantó el alojamiento, increíble recepción de Kruchezka, el desayuno 10/10, le podríamos 1000 puntos por todo. Muy recomendado!

Acordar com a vista para o vulcão e adormecer a olhar para o céu mais incrível de sempre, a localização da casa é fora do centro mas compensa imenso. Os anfitriões eram super simpáticos com ótimas sugestoes gastronómicas e o pequeno almoço mt bom, com uma sala de decoração muito engraçada. O supermercado mesmo perto, a pé, aberto até tarde dava imenso jeito.

A falta do ar condicionado, mas facilmente ultrapassável na altura do ano em que fomos

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und geräumig. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie helfen dir bei jeder Angelegenheit. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Hotel ist etwas südlich in San Pedro aber wenn man ein Auto hat ist das gar kein Problem. Aufgrund der Lage ist es sehr ruhig und man kann Nachts sehr gut die Sterne beobachten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Todo suuuuper limpio, desayuno riquísimo y personal extr amoroso y amable. Y muy poco ruido, se puede descansar fantásticamente. Además de una visión del cielo hermosa!

A la habitación le hace falta aire acondicionado, en época de verano es muy calurosa.

The hosts were just really warm and helpful people; they really went the extra mile to help us and to make our stay very comfortable. I loved being able to see the Milky Way and tons of stars right from my little sitting area, and the breakfast was so incredibly good - yogurt, juice, warm bread, granola, fruit, coffee with warm milk, butter, ham, cheese, eggs, and avocado. My husband who can't eat gluten had lots of options. Security was good. The old dog was very sweet and friendly. I appreciated the coco tea when I had a bit of altitude sickness in the beginning, and we used our host's recommendations on places to go and restaurants - great advice!

Breakfast was excellent. Simple but high quality and always on time.

The family that owns it is lovely. They made us feel very welcome. One small thing to add is to add soap or body wash in the shower (we kept having to move the hand soap from the sink to the shower and back), but this is minor. Also having WiFi option would be nice but it’s ok to be able to unplug for a while too.

Ha sido la mejor experiencia de estancia de mi vida, nunca me había sentido tan cómoda en un alojamiento, el cariño y el cuidado que ponen es enorme, sientes desde el primer momento la calidad humana. Todo es perfecto, la habitación limpia y cómoda, el desayuno completo y hecho con cariño, el ambiente cuidado, la tranquilidad y el sosiego, y esos maravillosos cielos nocturnos. No me equivoco al decir que es sin duda el mejor alojamiento de Atacama. Estamos muy agradecidos de haber conocido casa Ckelar. Esperamos poder volver algún día! 🙏

It was one of the best accommodations on our South America trip! The location just outside San Pedro, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, was wonderfully peaceful 😌 A large, modernly furnished room with a small terrace and a great view. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. A minor issue with the shower was resolved immediately. A fantastic breakfast in the beautifully furnished and cozy common room completed the experience! We wholeheartedly recommend it and would definitely book here again 😉

Gran experiencia, la atención de Kruchezka y su marido fue excepcional. Delicioso desayuno, habitación impecable y con todo lo necesario. Además al estar en las afueras el cielo se ve hermoso, nada que envidiar de un tour astronómico. Muy recomendado si se arrienda auto para conocer los alrededores ya que queda alrededor de 25 minutos caminando al centro.

El alojamiento destaca en su buena infraestructura, los dueños te atienden muy bien y son extremadamente amables y preocupados, el alojamiento es un 10 de 10, la ubicación es ideal para astrofotografia, sin salir de alojamiento logre increíbles fotos.

Thank you two for your friendliness, helpfulness and everything you did to make our weeklong stay so enjoyable! You will be supported in any kind of situation! The place is a bit outside of the village, which makes it really quite during night time. A rental car is highly recommended anyway in the region as it makes you way more independent from the expensive and crowded guided tours.

Amazing Stay! Welcoming hosts, cozy accommodations, fresh warm bread for breakfast, and stunning views of the Milky Way from the backyard. Highly recommend!

Nothing at all everything was perfect

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and extremely clean. Each room has its own little terrace with seating, and there's also a lovely outdoor area in front of the breakfast room where you can relax. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – fresh baguette, meats, cheeses, various cereals, scrambled eggs, avocado, yogurt, coffee, juices... such a great variety and everything very fresh. It's clear that cleanliness and order are a top priority, both in the kitchen and dining area. Our rental car was safely parked on the property, which gave us peace of mind. The location was perfect for us – just a 5-minute drive to the center, in a quiet and peaceful area. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. They regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. We truly felt at home and very well cared for. You can really feel the love and dedication the hosts put into running this place. They were always available and made our stay extra special. Highly recommended!

A neat place outside the busy and tourist-packed San Pedro center with direct access to silence and stars! The room was very comfortable (note: super bathroom towels!) with private balcony to enjoy the Milky Way. The owners are friendly and beyond the normal flexible and helpful. Breakfast with crunchy baguette! Would recommend to rent car though if you are staying (would recommend it anyway to avoid packed tours and have full flexibility.)

It was a great stay - quite place, a patio where you can watch stars, a mini-market nearby - all we needed. The hostess was simply amazing - a warm and caring person, thank you again for the coca tea when I was sick :) We really enjoyed our time here. And as some other travelers mentioned, it is handy to have a car, especially if you're planning to do tours instead of driving around yourself.

All was great! Even when we had a temporary power outage, we were provided with lamps and a generator for water.

Very nice hosts. They were super helpful and caring.

The owner is very kind and helpful. I felt like home. Excellent location outside the city center, with amazing stars view during the night. The room is big and clean, hot water all the time. The breakfast was very good. There is also private parking. We prolonged the stay here by 3 nights. Only 10 min driving until the historical center of San Pedro, and 5 min from Gas station. Highly recommended!

The lovely hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my van, and Victor helped me get the battery out, then he took me to town and helped me buy a new battery, and he then installed the new battery in the van. Excellent service!!

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely people! We really appreciated the thermos flask and packed breakfast they gave us for our early morning trip to the geysers. Very clean and spacious. Good shower. Liked the location because it gave such a wonderful view of the night sky.

Although we had a fan the room was really hot. In agreement with another reviewer who mentioned that a fridge and loungers would be a useful addition.

Me and my brothers has a fantastic stay at Casa Ckelar Atacama, we stay here for 6 nights, and it was a fantastic. A quiet and clean place to come back to after exploring the desert. Since the place is a bit of a ways from town, some planning is needed for what to do about diner, but if Leonelo is open with his restaurant there, I highly recommend staying for a meal. It was one of the best meals I have ever had, and tied in perfectly with our experiences in the area. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience.

Amazing!!! The place is so calm and quiet, if you're looking for disconnection, this is the place, zero noise, very calm. The hosts are super nice, they make you feel so good, the food is very home made, and everything is super clean and organized. The location isn't a bit far from the center - 2km (8 mins drive, 30 mins slow walking), you can rent a car or a bike, but if not, you can find local people that can do the taxi service. The tours can easily pick you up in this direction and also the airport transport (no issues). This is the place if you want to be calm and not near the city-center noise.

The owners were lovely and willing to help in any way the can. Their breakfast is simple but amazing. Nice and clean rooms in a quiet location.

It is not close to the center so you need a car. A fridge could also be a good addition to the room 🙂

A very cosy unit. Lovely hosts: warm welcome every day and full of local information. Fabulous stars overhead at night (given location 2km from the town centre). Nice breakfast. Very good value for money.

WiFi only available in the breakfast room and only in the morning: it would be easy to keep the WiFi on all day and to extend it to the units. We wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, and we loved the 2k walk to town, but travelers who want to be close to the action (and away from the stars) might prefer to be in town.

We liked everything! 10/10. The owners especially - friendly, smiling, welcoming. Also very quiet, safe, comfortable and spacious room. Have their own private guarded parking. Stars! Tasty nice breakfasts.

Great location - away from the tourist herd in the town centre. Lovely room. Fantastic hostess- really delightful. Excellent breakfast. Incredible stargazing. Loved this place! ❤️❤️❤️

A couple of sunloungers would be great purchase, so you could stargaze from a horizontal position.

The room was very spacious, super clean and in very good condition. We felt super comfortable. It was also nice to not to be surrounded by other apartments and hotels but still being close enough to the city centre (though having car I would recommend). We had wonderful views on a beautiful sky at night. The breakfast was always very fresh and delicious - we loved it. On top the owners are incredibly nice and always eager to help you.

Cruzeska and Victor were the perfect hosts, making everything possible to make our stay a really enjoyable one. Location is a bit away from town centre but on the other side, it gives you a sky cleaner of city lights for star gazing.

For warmer months, not having a/c can be an issue but they provide us with electric fan to cool our rooms.

it was a beautiful spot and so lovely to enjoy the night sky. everything was spotless. we were treated like family and given any sort of assistance we needed. the breakfast was delicious with the best French bread ever! fruits and eggs, cereal and yogurt. The rooms were large and comfortable with an excellent shower.

we did not have a car so getting to town can be tricky. the owners helped us out several times but I didn’t want to burden them too much with our needs

Very attentive and welcoming hosts that went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The place is a bit out of the way but the hosts drove us to the town every time we needed and even packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early in the morning. The view of the night sky is amazing.

We had the most wonderful stay. The owners are so caring and the rooms and facilities were spotless and exceptional. We felt at home right away and I would definitely recommend everybody to stay here when visiting San Pedro de Atacama. We also had the pleasure to take part in a gorgeous dinner as their son is a fabulous cook! Thank you for everything.
