Cosy little house

Das Haus war klein, aber sehr fein. Perfekt ausgestattet für ein verlängertes Wochenende. Sogar Kaffeekapseln waren vorhanden. Der Vermieter hatte gute Tipps und war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die ruhige Lage war sehr zentral, kurzer Fußweg ins Zentrum.

Die Treppe ist etwas steil und eng, gewöhnt man sich aber dran.

We liked the location. The place was spotless and the beds were very comfortable.

Omdat het ons eerste jaar zo goed bevallen was, hadden we voor dit jaar weer geboekt bij Cosy little house. Ook dit jaar was alles weer tiptop in orde. Ook de communicatie met de verhuurder was prima. Ook dit jaar was het weer een zéér warme week waarbij de airco het ons comfortabel maakte om in het huis te verblijven en te slapen. Echt een aanrader.

Geen uitzicht naar buiten. Het bovenste gedeelte van de voordeur openen om te kunnen ventileren.

At man måtte gå gjennom det ene soverommet for å komme til badet. Savnet et vindu i hovedplan for utlufting, ble veldig tett luft. Måtte åpne utgangsdøra for å lufte ut.

Had everything you needed. Very clean and tidy. Owner very helpful with lots of information regarding sightseeing and maps. Very informative and helpful with communication. Good location, can walk everywhere.

La propreté et le confort des lieux. Tout est prévu, c'est un hôte très attentionné et réactif pour la communication. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons pu cuisiner quelques repas car il y a 2 épiceries près de l'appartement. Tout peut se faire à pied car l'appartement est près du centre de Bruges. Tout simplement cosy.

The location was excellent. We hit a mini heat wave so the air conditioning was a blessing! Walk in shower was also very welcome. I Can’t really fault anything.

The house is in a great location. Carpark just a few minutes walk away. The house has everything you need for a short stay in Brugge. The whole house was very clean and welcoming. While the shower room is off one of the bedrooms there is a downstairs toilet, which is really handy. Anthony was really helpful, sending information on where to park, things to do etc. Would highly recommend the house and Brugge!

Keys were in a key box on arrival, house was very clean with lots of information provided. Anthony had been very helpful sending informations, suggestions etc prior to our arrival.

Prachtig huisje! Alles was top!

It is adorable and in a very cute neighborhood close to all of the major tourist attractions, but off the beaten path so you get a little more feel for the city. Anthony was very kind to let us check in early and check out late. We really appreciate it.

The stairs are a little steep and might be difficult for older people

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό, κοντά στο κέντρο. Τα κρεβάτια ήταν άνετα. Ο οικοδεσπότης μας έδωσε πολλές πληροφορίες καιρό πριν πάμε στην Μπρυζ οπότε μας βοήθησε πολύ να οργανώσουμε το ταξίδι μας. Και ότι μας πρότεινε ήταν εξαιρετικό. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Geweldige locatie dichtbij parkeer garage en centrum, van alle gemakken voorzien en groter dan gedacht (voor een 'tiny house'). Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die twee dagen voor aankomst een lijst met tips stuurde en meedenkt, echt een aanrader! Ik zou er de volgende zeker weer verblijven.

Very convenient and quiet location. The house was clean and everything we needed in the house was provided. Great communication with Anthony, he gave us a good list of things to do and restaurants recommendations.

The location of the bathroom was inconvenient for us as we were 2 friends.

Fantastic location, literally minutes from the main market square and easy to get to. We went by car and booked parking in advance at a very convenient, secure, underground parking lot which was very easy to do and on arrival breezed through the barrier controls due to ANPR. Cottage is on a quiet side street with next to no passing traffic so very peaceful. Highly recommended.

Ubicacion y distribucion de la casa

TOUT ! Petite maison très charmante, sur 2 étages, très bien située car à proximité immédiate du centre historique et donnant sur une petite rue dans un quartier très calme. Accès en toute autonomie grâce à une boite à clés. Au Rdc, une petite entrée, un WC bien pratique, un coin séjour agréable avec une table et des chaises pour 4 personnes, une cuisine équipée fonctionnelle avec un lave-vaisselle et de nombreux équipements et articles, un salon confortable avec un grand canapé, une TV et surtout un poêle qui chauffe superbement bien. A l'étage, 2 chambres agréables et lumineuses et une belle sdb/WC avec une grande douche, deux lavabos et un sèche-serviettes. Hébergement au TOP pour un séjour de quelques jours. Hôte bien sympathique et réactif ; de nombreuses informations et conseils nous ont été donné pour organiser au mieux notre visite de Bruges; encore merci à Anthony.

Posizione a 5 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale di brugge, appartamento accogliente, pulito e dotato di tutti i confort, compreso cialde del caffè.Abbiamo trovato in frigo un paio di birre e un paio di bibite di benvenuto.Host molto veloce nelle risposte su whatsapp, persona molto gentile e disponibile.Super consigliato

We waren positief verrast. Alles was zoals we hadden gehoopt, verwacht en beschreven. Het was een warme week en hebben veel plezier gehad van de airco. De locatie is ook lekker dicht bij het centrum en op de route kom je leuke restaurantjes e.d tegen. Nette parkeergarage op amper 5 minuten van het appartement. Zéker voor herhaling vatbaar.

We miste een stoel in de slaapkamer.

Ni recomendable.

Fabulous beautifully decorated heritage Bruges townhouse in a quiet but convenient location, very friendly and helpful host, lovely living room and dining area with good air con. Main en-suite bedroom was excellent (also had air con). Our host left us two great Bruges Zot beers as a welcome, which was very gratefully received.

Second bedroom had no air con and you had to access the bathroom via the main bedroom, so if you needed the toilet during the night it was awkward. The shower’s temperature was inconsistent (cold, hot, cold, hot) and it was too easy for the shower to overflow onto the floor. Some of the furniture (such as the bedside tables) were in disrepair. These were minor issues though which did not spoil our stay.

The top step of the stairs is not level with the floor, this was a bigger issue for us than the stairs being steep or narrow, although it is a bit narrow.

Beautiful little house, very comfortable and clean. Excellent location in the centre of Bruges. Big beds and lovely large shower. All furniture in great condition. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of guides and pamphlets. Our host was enormously helpful with advice on restaurants and things to do.

We loved the comfy beds and having a sitting area and kitchen. It was a short walk to the city center, and we were able to stop back at the property and drop off our purchases (chocolate!) and regroup.

Location is superb, house is a good size for a family of four, was well stocked with cooking and cleaning products, check-in very easy.

The stairs are slightly perilous, so we were a little worried about our three year old on the first night. Also the facilities/decor upstairs were a little basic—didn’t really bother us but might bother someone else.

The location was excellent. Just a short walk into the main square. Very quiet street. Anthony our host was excellent at communicating and sent a long list of recommendations for eating, drinking etc. He also left complementary beer and water in the fridge. Nice touch!

The bathroom was accessed through the main bedroom. As we were in the other bedroom, this was very inconvenient. Therefore we had to descend very steep stairs to reach the other toilet during the night. Also, a mirror in the smaller bedroom would have been useful.

Location is within walking distance of the main city square. The apartment has been renovated and is spotless, clean and well appointed.

We had an issue with the hot water of the shower, but it was easily rectified.

Narrow staircase to upstairs to bedrooms and bathroom

Centrally located, within walking distance to parking and major attractions. Great host, kitchen well equipped, including a Nespresso machine and pods. The host even left us two cold bears on the fridge to welcome us. Nice move.

Access to the first floor bedroom is via a steep and narrow staircase. If you are over 60, as I am, do not even think about taking your suitcase to the top floor. We left everything downstairs and it worked out. Parking, even to unload in front of the house is tricky. One blocks the traffic in the street!

No washing machine/iron. After a rainy bike ride, it would have been handy to be able to do a load of washing.

Location was fine - quiet, comfortable, easy walking distances to most things. places or interest, coffee cafes and bars, various restaurants with interesting menus. Information provided all good - Equipped well. Shower over Bath choice - fab. Two 'loos' - Good Bakery for fresh bread and cakes yards away - very amiable shop staff - - (closed sundays ) - Secure, clean, underground, parking two streets away - Would highly recommend.

Theres' was NOTHING NOT to like, - the stairs are a little steep, but this helped to utilise the house space well. The stair handrail moved on occasion, but although a little unerving at first, once your realised the hand rail 'moved' you became more confident on the stairs. Securing ther hand rail would definitely increase guests confidence If stairs were an issue for anybody, perhaps becoming aware and knowing this from this from the off-set at arrival would help guests feel more 'sure footed' if rail secured some more. Having said that the owner was helpful, cosy little house was really good and with or without securing the handrail on the stairs, , WE WILL BE BACK. Thank you Anthony.

It was very handy for the city and it was adequately equipped for a short stay town house. The dishwasher was lovely to have. The fire was nice as well. Comfy beds and the shower was good.

There were some niggles but all is being sorted - the host is lovely and quick to respond. 🙂 Be aware that the stairs are very steep and narrow.

A cosy house indeed but all that you need in the city center of Brugge. We enjoyed our stay very much and felt really welcome due to the helpful and friendly host!

The house was clean upon arrival. We loved the fact that it was so close to city centre. There were many movies which we could enjoy (we viewed only one, but plenty choice). The airconditioning worked for heating as well, and worked really well. House was warm within a minute or two.

It takes some time for the water to get warm upstairs.

Convenient walking distance to the centre of the town and it was clean and tidy.

The property was close to the city centre. Plenty of towels and copious amounts of hot water in the upstairs bathroom. Very quiet location (we stayed in January so that might change in the busier months).

There was a very pungent smell coming from either the drains or sewers in the kitchen area which was rather unpleasant and sometimes quite strong when we were sat watching TV on the ground floor. The stairs are very steep and in my opinion dangerous I'd say the property is unsuitable for either young children or people with mobility issues because of this. Make sure you know exactly the correct address, our taxi dropped us off in a road further up the street and we couldn't find the property. we tried to contact the host by telephone but it went straight to voice mail. It was a dark and cold night eventually we asked in a corner shop and were directed to the correct road.

Very central but in a quiet street. The house is comfortable with a good bathroom and good heating. There's a toilet downstairs as well as the bathroom upstairs. Lots of information was provided by the helpful host. Unfortunately we never got to meet him. We had everything we needed.

To get to the bathroom from the second bedroom, you had to walk through the master bedroom. The small bedroom has a window that is completely opaque so you cannot see the street. The stairs are very steep and not for the fainthearted.

The cosy little house was super well located to walk to everything in Brugge. It was clean and comfortable for a family of 4 (two adults , 2 teens sharing a double bed). Anthony gave us lots of useful tips for places to eat/see/drink/visit while we were there. Wonderful welcome when we arrived with 2 local beers and 2 cold drinks for the kids… thank you Anthony!
