Great place to stay! The villa was clean and well-maintained, and everything was neat and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and they quickly resolved any issues that came up. Highly recommended!

Nos ha gustado todo. Excelente el trato con el casero, en limpieza,espacio, distribucion de la casa,sauna, tranquilidad de la urbanizacion, ubicacion perfecta entre aeropuerto y lugares mas turisticos, trineos y juguetes para los niños...Al estar a las afueras de la ciudad (unos 2 km), pudimos ver auroras boreales las 2 primeras noches desde la puerta de casa, y desde el jardin. Cuando llegamos, estaba todo nevado y los alrededores parecian de ensueño.

La casa es excelente muy cómoda, pasamos divino. Muy atentos y necesitamos irnos más tarde y nos pudimos quedar un lpoco más

The space, the sauna, the garden, the beds were so comfy!

- Absolutely beautiful house… new, spacious, modern - nobody can question or dispute that - On the first sight it’s clean, on a detailed look not so much - Amazing location: close to the santas village, many food and grocery delivery options in the area - Great garden - Covered parking - Nice TV - Beautiful fireplace - The owner lady was quite nice and friendly, which made me think that I’ll go easy on you with the review, but that didn’t last long!

It’s impossible to open the door in the master bedroom, making it uncomfortable with stuffy air. The mattress protector has red stains on it - very smart asking the guests to take off the bed linen themselves to reveal dirty bedding!!! Picture attached. This made me wonder what else is this house hiding. I’ve performed a random white towel test wiping 3-4 random surfaces - the results are disgusting! If you have dust allergies, stay away! Picture with the result of the test attached. Now let’s cover the softer things which made this stay less than suboptimal. And trust me, it’s breaking my heart providing a negative review for such a beautiful place, but the reality is that the owners need a wake up call. You book this place (650 euro for 2 nights after a 15% genius discount - this is very important, because I can have a suite in a 5* hotel in pretty much any European capital for this price) and the first non-automated message you get from the property is a 2-page list of house rules. Few of them make perfect sense, others being absolutely ridiculous, but all of them phrased in a very passive aggressive tone! What a first impression! This made me very stressed, because I assumed that booking an expensive property with this level of ratings is super safe - my bad for being naive! Let’s go over them shall we? “-Cleaning is included in the price! We hope that you don’t leave apartment messy.” - Excuse me??!?!?! What did I just paid you 650 euro for? Btw saying cleaning is included, but don’t make mess is like saying “Parking is free, but don’t you dare to park here” - ridiculous and passively aggressive! “-The normal temperature in the house is about 21-22 degrees. Please, don’t touch the heating system! It works automatically.” - Everyone has a different comfortable temperature. While for me it’s between 19 and 21, for my GF it’s between 21 and 25. This is the first time in my life where a property is limiting me to be in a comfortable temperature!

Comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Having sleds on site was great too! And the sauna was very nice. A large back garden in which kids could play in the snow.

Only slight complaint was the kitchen sink plug which doesn’t really work

Everything felt like home and it was very comfortable

A absolute magical short break with my family. The accommodation is beautiful, in a safe peaceful location. I can honestly say I've never stayed anywhere as beautiful. My children are hard to impress and they did not want to leave. They even preferred the garden to being in Santa Claus village. The sauna, bathroom, and bedrooms all have ample space and storage. Beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of equipment to cook etc. Thank you for a magical experience that my family will never forget.

Great location. Great living area and bathroom.

The property is lovely, well equipped and set in a nice street, and the garden is big and beautiful. There is a good utility area and lots of storage in the hallway for coats and boots.

There wasn’t much information on where to go for groceries or how to order food to the property.

The Villa was very warm and cosy after a day out in the snow. Although compact it was spacious for a family of five plus grandparents. The sauna was a welcome at the end of the day. Washer and dryer facilities were excellent when the children came in from the snow. Certainly helped with the return load of hardly any laundry needing to be washing. A bonus 😊 There were sledges for the children to use. The back garden was a delight. The children built snowmen. The owner met us personally. She was so helpful and friendly.

The kitchen is lacking in certain pieces of equipment, especially when cooking for 7

it was incredibly spacious and clean. Vast volumes and beautiful bay windows very modern sauna and easy access from rovaniemi airport. Lovely host via whatsapp who responded quickly to answers

I suppose an automatic light needs to be put above the key pas as it was hard to see the numbers on the keypad

Perfect location less than 10 minutes from the airport. We stayed just for the 1 night, arriving late in the evening before heading north the next morning. The children loved that there was a garden with sleds so they could play in the snow, which was so deep! Loved the bathroom/sauna area too!

Be sure to confirm which beds you need making up before you arrive, as we had to switch them round to suit our party. (3 beds were made up in one of the bedrooms & none in one of the others)

This is one of the best houses we have ever rented. It's very comfortable. We felt immediately at home. The house is very modern, has a sauna, two showers... it was our own private wellness temple. While outside, we had temperatures of minus 32 degrees, we felt inside warm and cosy because of the super underfloor heating and the climate concept of the house. The beds are very comfortable. We had a fully equipped kitchen. The owners are very nice and help in every situation.

A beautiful warm tranquil house. We were so happy with our 3 night stay here. The kids loved playing in the snow and going in the sauna. It is very comfortable and has everything you would need.

Our flight got canceled so we booked this villa for 6 people only for a night. We really liked the villa, it's very spacious, very very clean, well equipped and beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend if you have a rented car :)

The host was extremely helpful. The location was perfect. We saw the northern lights from the garden. The villa was spacious, clean and warm! We loved it.

We were 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids) and we all loved everything about this house!!! The living-room with the open kitchen, the “water area” with the sauna, the bedrooms with nice views, the garden…everything was perfect!! Also the location is very convenient as it close to Santa Park, Santa Claus Village and the airport. We highly recommend it for a perfect stay!!! And a special mention to Paulus who was very nice as a host and made everything very easy from the beginning. Thanks!!!

The villa is magical, clean and comfortable setting with huge backyard to hangout! Paulus, our host has been at Attentive and adhere to our request promptly. We told him that want to use the bbq, he came over to set it up for us! I give him 1000% for his service! The location is away from the noise, city and light pollution. Good for a quiet moment away from the hustle bustle city life! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you for the wonderful stay for my family!

If you are looking for convenience and near to amenities, this villa has to rent a car to get around. As we didn’t dare to drive on snowy roads, the transport to book taxi for every trip out can adds up to the costing.

Villa Artic Light is a modern and comfy holiday home. Hosts (Paulas and Laura) were contactable throughout our stay and answered all our questions timely. The pin code to the place were emailed to us prior to our arrival and even though the check in time was not until 3pm, hosts allow us to drop our luggage first. And on the check out day, host allow us to keep the luggage till 2pm as we had planned to visit Santa Park in the morning. We are so grateful for that. When we arrived the first day, the place was already heated up nicely. We came from Santa Claus Village and felt so cold and so to arrive with a heated place like this was just heavenly! The place is very clean and comfy and very warm. We walked around in our thin pjs and some of us bare-footed. The sauna is heavenly. Lots of places to hang our coats and ski attire. The drying room (sharing the same place with the washing machine, drying machine, sauna, bathroom and toilet) is good place to hang your damp jackets from snow play :) The 9 of us (5 adults, 2 teens and 2 children age 11) shared the entire home and really like the place. My kids love the smart TV. Master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe. We prepared simple breakfast and dinner with the fully functional kitchen. There were many sledges sitting outside but unfortunately excursions took out most of our time and so we had no time to explore the lovely front and back yard. oh yes, Villa Artic Light is really quite near to Santa Park. We booked 2 taxis to bring us there.

The one and only bathroom cum toilet has 2 doors connecting to it. One door connected to the master bedroom and another door at the other end (near the main door, closer to the other 2 guests rooms). So, you need to remember to lock both side when showering and unlock both sides after showering. When one side forgot to unlock, you'll have to make a big loop to go in from the other side. So, it's a little inconvenient. Luckily there's another toilet (no shower facility) for common use.

Accommodating, friendly host. Super location. Clean, spacious & modern living space. Comfy with extra of log burner, sauna, double shower. We loved it!

Perfect for Lapland and Santa village

Lovely apartment for our family, nice space, nicely furnished. Apart from those things that can be fixed the house is great. Sauna was good.

Just a couple of things that could have been done better. The wrong beds were made up when we arrived. We have two adult children and a bed in each room should have been made up rather than two beds in one room. Couple of things missing from the kitchen (a good strainer for pasta, grater). There were no instructions for the dishwasher and we had difficulty working it out. Some simple instructions would have been helpful. We managed to work out the stove top but instructions for this also would have been helpful. Also the dishwasher was full when we arrived from the last people staying (clean but full). The main bedroom needs some bedside tables (not sure about the other rooms) and also some soft lighting would be good....it was either the very strong overhead lights or nothing in the main bedroom. We couldn't use the fireplace without getting the owner around to show us how, so we didn't bother, which was a shame. When staying in a nice place in the snow having the fire going is part of the experience.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and we loved the sauna

i didn’t expect to make up the beds. Was easily done though, could use more pillows. We requested the free pick up service from the train station, but we had to pay for a taxi instead which was disappointing.

The host met us to show us the door access code & provide details about the sauna, and property generally. He also mapped out the location of activities nearby. He was so warm & welcoming and assured us of his accessibility/availability should we need anything during our stay. The street the property is on is a lovely rural setting yet close to Santa Zvlais Village etc, the city and the airport. It was covered in a blanket of snow while we were there so our children had a marvelous time on sledges the host provides for duration of stay & just generally playing in the snow! The property itself is really well kitted out for a family/group stay & there is lots of space with fantastic picture windows. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here!

It was like our home away from home. Close to everyplace you would like to visit.

Everything was super. Clean, comfortabel and all was there what we needed. Location was also super. Everything was close bye. Also owner was super nice and friendly.

Beautiful house with amazing sauna, cozy, comfortable, calm. But the most amazing is the host, who was very helpful and hospitable. My children still remember that short stay - how nice the house was and how we enjoyed the sauna in the evening. The house is not in the city, so you might need a car or a taxi. We were aware of that and were ready to use the taxi, however I would strongly recommend to rent a car if you arrive without it.

Paulus is an amazing host. He went out of the way to pick up and drop off our luggage at the railway station. He also drop us off at Santa Village and the supermarket as we did not have a car. He is fast in replying to our queries via emails or text messages. His house is clean, spacious and well equipped. We had great fun cooking and chilling in the sauna. We had an amazing time in the lapland, all thanks to Paulus. Highly recommended.
