Reviewed Jun 27, 2026The view was lovely. The area was lovely. I recommend heading down to the small Kells bay for a dip in the water by the pier.
Generally, Kells in Kerry is a bit out of the way. This is fine if that is what you are looking for. But Kerry (and the Wild Atlantic Way, generally) is very much geared towards cars rather than exploring on foot.

Jen drobnost, ale možná by to chtělo obměnit gauče.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2026Wow! Der Blick über den Atlantik! Das Haus hatte alles und war hübsch eingerichtet. Wir haben es genossen und kamen sofort mit allem klar. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns auch über den Kamin und den Torfvorrat für ein warmes gemütliches Kaminfeuer. Viele hübsche Kleinigkeiten, die MusikCds, die Süßigkeiten, die Bücher zur Landschaft, Infos zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten haben es leicht gemacht sich wohlzufühlen. Wir werden hierhin und in dieses Haus gerne wiederkommen.

View is stunning , from Bedroom or living room u can see all peninsula, so early mornings with coffee is must , it is just beautiful. Big back garden, plenty room for family with 3 kids . Clean , simple , all things You need for long or short stay . Denise is just on to; of the game , helpful ,friendly . Felt like texting with family member .

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025it was a bonus the weather was exceptional, the area was quiet and peaceful ideal for walking hiking. i was greatly surprised with the flora and fauna and the beach was clean and easily accessed with toilets and shower, Kells Bay and gardens lovely the locals were curious and helpful my grown up kids joined me after a few days of my stay.
I only had 1 week of relaxation and slept really well away from the business of life.

There was everything we needed throughout the house (kitchen utensils and staples, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, good wifi connection, interesting books about Ireland and the region). Close enough by car to small towns with restaurants, pubs and shops. 10 minutes walk from a nice little beach and other viewpoints. Our host Denise was wonderful. We had forgotten a little toiletry bag and she sent it back to us in England as soon as was possible without charge. Would very much stay again for longer if visiting this region, there is a lot to do around the ring of Kerry!

Reviewed May 1, 2024The quaint cottage was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped. We used the fireplace every evening. That was a real treat. The view of the bay with the mountains as a backdrop was incredible! We’d walk each day through the neighborhood filled with sheep and cows. Absolutely beautiful surroundings! I would come back to Ireland just to stay here! We drive the ring of Kerry. The views here were just as good.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2023Well furnished, comfortable, charming bungalow in a fabulous setting overlooking Dingle Bay. The house is cozy with all modern conveniences. No noise disturbance other than the wind in the trees and rushing water from the stream 100 metres away. Easy driving distance to supermarkets and restaurants in nearby towns. Very helpful host. Lovely beach nearby.
The narrow road from the main road to the property makes life interesting, but other road users are aware and courteous.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2022A beautiful cottage in a stunning location and ideally situated for exploring the Ring of Kerry. The host went out of her way to ensure my stay there was comfortable and that I had everything I needed.
The electric oven in the kitchen did not have temperature settings for the oven and grill so it was guesswork when preparing meals, or mostly cook on the hob.
