Reviewed Dec 30, 2024The house is right in the middle of the village, and has a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable rooms. We were attending a wedding in Castle Leslie and it was great to be able to walk there. Parking is very easy right outside the door.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2024Loved how close it was to Castle Leslie! Easy walk to the estate. Directions for everything in the house were very clear. Bed linens were amazing and the beds were very comfortable.
We are used to a king size bed, so the full size was a bit small and there weren't tables on each side. Not the end of the world, but a table on each side would be appreciated.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2024We loved the location, the village of Glaslough is wonderful and it is a short stroll for weddings and walks at Castle Leslie. The check in process was very easy and the host was very friendly and helpful.
The property felt very dated, especially the kitchen. The shower water pressure wasn’t great. However, our biggest concern was the level of black mould in all rooms, which is very bad for your health.

Shower wasnt working correctly. Without moving the tempterature setting, it would switch from freezing to scalding A second front door key would be very handy given its a 2 bedroom house. Door could only be locked inside with the key

Reviewed Aug 27, 2023Such a great location in a beautiful setting, so ideal for Weddings at the Castle. The neighbours and owners were really friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only one thing that we would suggest changing is relocating the ironing board. This is nearly fixed to the inside door of the airing cupboard but it can only be used with one bedroom door open so can’t be used while the other visitors are still in bed. Everything else was great.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2022The house was very clean, warm and well fitted out. We were four adults and had plenty of room for each of us. The kitchen is well kitted out. The house is ideally situated for an event at Castle Leslie. (It is however far enough away that if hairstyles or high shoes are involved, one should take a car. There is parking at the castle).
Grill pan could use a handle. One can use a pan holder, which we did, but I personally would have preferred something to hold onto. Otherwise everything was fine.
