Love Thatched Cottages

It was obviously very charming French inspired and a novelty staying in a thatched roof cottage

It was quite remote we were just lucky we decided to buy groceries at the town before we arrived. Otherwise it would have quite a journey to buy some milk There was a serious problem with the down stairs toilet leaking substantially all over the floor from the S bend. The owner tried to call for a plumber but l find it difficult to believe she didn’t know about the issue before we arrived, lm sure the cleaner would have advised her of the problem

A wonderful house in the perfect location.

Het uitzicht, de kwaliteit van het huis, de locatie. Dit is luxe en overtreft iedere verwachting. Het is nog vele malen mooier dan de foto’s!

The house was beautiful, spacious, cosy, and spotless. It had everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

Vaisselle limitée. Problème de sous dimensionnement du débit d’eau.

Scenic location and large decking with views of the bay. Lounge area was very comfortable.

No visible sign at side of road indicating which cottage we’d booked. Front area neglected- weeds, old thatching thrown on the ground, window boxes unplanted, dilapidated bench. Inside main kitchen glass door onto patio was badly cracked and locked. A further downstairs bedroom door leading onto patio was locked and ceiling skylight didn’t open meaning it was very stuffy in warm weather. Sound system and coffee machine not working. Barbecue far too small for 8-10 people and we had to provide our own fuel. Not enough casseroles. More permanent outside seating needed.

Great location, amazing house, everything was perfect, not sparing in amenities, the house was just gorgeous, really cosy and Ewa was great to deal with. We adored our stay, we saw seals and otters from the really spacious decking, and and amazing sunset. we cannot wait to go back! Thanks again. Dee, Keith and co 88

We had no idea Connemara was so beautiful. This location is somewhat in the middle and has a pristeen view over its own bay. The house is cosy and comfortable. for the price offered this was one of the best price / benefits I have experienced.

Only some very small remarks, like a good pair of cissors would be helpfull and something to clean the windows in the morning when they are damped so we can enjoy the view 100% (towel leaves stripes). Maybe a possibility to open the door at the balcony from the outside.

sink in en-suite was broken not enough coat hangers for clothing a bit remote with difficulty to walk anywhere poor access to the sea poor Wi-Fi- unable to even access code for keys as no reception- perhaps guests should be advised to bring a hard copy with them

Cottage dans un lieu idyllique, on en prend plein les yeux! Idéal pour une Famille de 8, sans se gêner. Le connemara est magnifique et le cottage est idéalement situé pour le visiter. Tout le confort au paradis! (Mon mari pêcheur s'est éclaté et nous a régalé)

As a couple we enjoyed to stay at Bayside cottage, the view is stunning, the place was warm and cozy. It’s a perfect location to visit all parts of Connemara. we w’d love to come back.

Really lovely, modern cottage equipped with everything you could possibly need with the most spectacular views. Spacious and cosy, wish we could have stayed longer!
