Bed was wat aan de smalle kant.

The property was modern, clean and the host was so hospitable. The homemade treats were exceptional. It was the perfect location with amazing views and only a short drive to stunning beaches, walks and amenities. We will definitely being staying in the cottage again when back in Donegal.

The host was extremely friendly and left lovely homemade Guinness bread and home made biscuits for us ..she also had milk butter and eggs in the fridge and teas , coffee and cereals for guests . The location was so quiet ,yet only 7 or 8 minutes to local village

Everything was perfect.

The property is modern and comfortable, great kitchen etc. The host was fabulous. She went over and above. The homemade goods she left us were exceptional - some biscuits and guinness cake. Great for going to Slieve League and also Malin Beg - a wonderfully picturesque beach.

Nothing. It's quite isolated... but we knew that before we came so not really a downside. And it is close to the places we wanted to visit so all good.

Das Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Es ist super sauber und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gab frischgebackene Kekse und Brot zur Begrüßung. Kaffee, Tee und Cerealien waren vorhanden und im Kühlschrank waren Milch, Eier und Butter. Margaret war überaus zuvorkommend und auch für Frage immer zu erreichen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.

It is very spacious, well organised, liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner were there. The mirror and dressing table in bathroom were very nice. Lots of creams were there. Kitchen was good. Cookware and dishes were there. It is very good for families or bachelors. I would definitely recommend.Host was very nice.

Quiet, very clean, bed was comfortable and owners were friendly, kept to themselves but keen to ensure that I had a good stay.

The property was extremely comfortable and modern and fully equipped for all of our needs during our stay. It was a nice remote location that was ideal for shutting off and relaxing.

Self catering: We communicated our time of arrival and our host Margaret left the key in the door. Margaret left home-made bread & cookies, milk, butter, cereal etc for us. She was very friendly and welcoming. Mo

Sehr sauber und neu/modern eingerichtet. Frische Milch, Eier, Müsli und super leckere selbst gemachte Kekse lagen schon bereit. Frische Handtücher wurden auch unaufgefordert vorbei gebracht. Einfach Top gegenüber anderer Unterkünfte.

Achtung: kein Mobielfunknetz an der Unterkunft. (Wlan vorhanden.)

The host Margaret is extremely nice. She treated us with home-made delicious Guinness bread and shortbread cookies. There were also cereals, milk, butter and eggs for breakfast. The cottage is comfy with everything you might need for cooking. The surroundings are marvelous, very tranquil. Thanks Margaret for hosting us.

The cottage is nice n cosy,lovely location. Warm welcome with the friendly host Margaret. I would recommend this cottage to everyone.

Great hospitality, comfy and clean. It’s a converted garage but doesn’t feel like that and was roomy and tastefully furnished. Everything we could want was there.

The homemade bread was a lovely touch, and we appreciated the tea/coffee/cereals left for us. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and the vanity table & mirror were fantastic.

Brilliant cottage, the host thought of everything to make stay welcoming and comfortable we really enjoyed the shortbread biscuits and Guinness bread on arrival .

The weather ,,but cant fault the host on the visit from hurricane Ernesto during our stay it not the host fault that weather was wild ,,the host was wonderful.

Very tastefully decorated and well equipped brand new cottage, perfectly clean and quiet. Hosts friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Ideal location to visit the Slieve league and all the surrounding natural spots. One of our best holidays apartments in Ireland.

Location

It was a fantastic accomodation in a great location. It was spotless. You could see the hosts had put their hearts into it. There were homemade cookies and Guiness bread left for us on the table (don't forget to take a recipe if you stay there), milk&butter in the fridge. The beds were so comfortable, the bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed (and even more). The children enjoyed watching some cartoons on Netflix in the morning. The cottage is close to Slieve League, Silver Strand Beach and the folk village. We will definetely be back.

Lovely. It helps if you have a car. We were lucky to have family who drove us around. Margaret was also kind enough to drop us at the Folk Village.

The property was beautiful. There was a place to sit outside, you could hang your laundry, and take walks.

The little touches like the Guinness bread , milk and butter in fridge, biscuits. The information pack , the nice welcome, there was nothing not to like.

Margaret was a fantastic host and always available if anything was required. Loved the homemade shortbread biscuits and brown bread, also milk, butter and eggs in the fridge on arrival. House was extremely comfortable and spotless. Great attention to detail throughout and very well equipped kitchen. Small wood burning fire which we lit every night with the logs provided. Wifi and Netflix.

Beautiful accommodation with great hosts

Everything! It was outstanding. Just perfect. We felt home from the moment we arrived.

The accommodation is a well maintained and tastefully decorated house in an excellent location close to 'must visit' places in Donegal. It has all you need to feel at home. Everything is in a great condition. The welcome basket is above expectations: a homemade bread, milk, eggs, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, cereals and oat porridge. Margaret is a friendly and caring host who is always happy to give a hand. Can't recommend enough!

Lovely personal touch with Guinness brown bread and biscuits with handwritten note addressed to us. Kids enjoyed the great WiFi and chilled in evening watching their own stuff on phones. Used it as base to do day trips. Will definitely be going back. Margaret and Jim were very welcoming

Have nothing negative to say

Dolmen cottage is a great starting point to explore the region. We made great hikes, went swimming in the ocean, we were biking, and the cottage was a lovely place to get back to in the evening. And of course there was the lovely host Margareth, who did her utmost best to help us when needed.
