Alison is a lovely host, very attentive and quick to respond. She even offered to drop our bags at the port so we get to stroll around our last day without hassle. The house was ready for checkin ahead of time and is furnished with basic pantry needs and cleaning supplies, board games (fit for kids to adult), netflix and bike rails. Lots of little touches that make for a super comfy stay. Also worth mentioning the beautiful friendly horse that comes to greet us whenever we arrive and leave the house. Such a pet!

House got too hot one night, we didn’t know how to/ if we can control it though didn’t bother asking because it’s already late and our last night anyway.

This was a fabulous accommodation to visit for our weekend away. From the fresh milk bread eggs and biscuits on our arrival and Netflix to enjoy after a day's cycling the island. Also needed a pin and there were a packet in the press. You have thought of everything including cooking oil salt pepper olive oil. . So impressed. I will highly recommend Kilronan cottages to my friends and family. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

The house is super comfortable with a nice view, and it is close to restaurants. Great beds for a good night’s sleep. Didn’t get to enjoy the patio due to weather but the view is great and would love to take advantage of it next time. We did enjoy a nice fire indoors though! The best part was how kind and thoughtful Alison is. She is, without a doubt, the friendliest and most accommodating host I have had the pleasure to deal with in all my travels of the last 20 years. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, she helped with our luggage, and she was amazing when we had a laundry mishap. Can’t speak highly enough of her. We are so grateful to have met her and been her guests.

Great property and brilliant location, close to the village of Kilronan. Only a 2 minute walk from the nearest pub/restaurant and less than 10 minutes to the shops.

I needed a little time to unlock the entrance door, as I wasn’t familiar with how the locks work in Ireland.

Beautiful home in the main town of the island. Very comfortable, beautifully furnished with every possible convenience and stunning views. Alison was extremely accommodating and great to deal with. The perfect base to explore the very charming aran isalnds.

We loved our 3 day trip to Inis Mór. Alison's 2 bed chalet was perfect, it was clean, cosy, warm and in a fantastic location being 3mins walk from Joe Watty's pub and restaurant and 10min walk to the village and the Port. We did a 'Hop on Hop Off' day tour with John, he was a great guide and the next day we hired ebikes from Michael (John's friend) and toured the Island visiting the famous 'Wormhole' among other places, he delivered the bikes to our accommodation and collected them, amazing service. We'll definitely be back. X

I'm trying to think of something..... the Spar closed very early at 6pm ..... that's my only complaint

Such a lovely stay in a fabulous accommodation, bedrooms were like staying in a hotel, really lovely decor, extremely comfy beds, perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, host couldnt have been more helpful, met us with keys, showed us around and gave great information, little extras were really appreciated, netflix and amazon prime was available on tv also, would highly recommend this accomodation

The location is excellent. The 2Bed home is spacious and have all key features required for a comfortable stay. Bar/restaurant is less than 5 min walk. Spar (grocery/convenience store) is 10mins walk. The port is only about 15-20 mins walk. Lovely and responsive service when needed.

This is just perfect to just head away , relax and enjoy this beautiful Island and it’s lovely people, our bags were taken from pier and dropped to house even,everything was perfect, chat to the locals and go off track when going around the island, a very special place

Amazing Stay with a Wonderful Host We had such a great experience staying here. Alison, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful—she went out of her way to tell us about some lesser-known spots on the island that we wouldn't have found otherwise. The accommodation itself was spotless and felt fresh and welcoming. She even let us check in early since the house was ready and later offered to keep our bags and drop them off in the village so we could enjoy our day before a late flight. Truly thoughtful and above-and-beyond hospitality. Highly recommended!

Being very picky here but soap in the shower would have nice. We had our own so no real bother.

The perfect stay - the house was so lovely, very clean and Alison couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Location-wise the house was perfect, within walking distance to everywhere and a great location for going on cycles etc. Could not recommend more and will most definitely be back.

The cottage was fabulous, had everything we needed, it was only ten mins walk from the harbour and the perfect location with lovely views. More than anything, Alison was an incredible host and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Will definitely be rebooking this place when we come back!

Great location and lovely host who left bread milk and eggs for us, this was so nice and generous after we had travelled a long way.

The house was super comfortable and lovely, warm and very spacious for 2 adults. Its a 10 minute walk from the pier where the ferry drops off and 1 minute walk to the pub and in the main town on the island. Basics like towels and soap provided and some basic cooking things. The place was very warm and comfortable, a perfect base for exploring the island. Alison was a great host!

This home is an easy walk from the ferry. The host was very reachable via email. This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

Honestly, there was nothing that I didn’t like.

Super clean, very well stocked with all the supplies you could need. Beds were super comfy and Alison was very helpful friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect, 2 mins walk from the pub, 4 mins from the supermarket and into the main village Will definitely be back

There was nothing not to like!

Wonderful cozy home. Location is brilliant, 2 mins away from Joe Watty's Bar. A short walk to the center of the town. Great view from one of the bedroom. Spacious living area with a few board game selection to have fun with. Comfortable beds! Wonderful host also set Netflix, Prime services.

Alison’s place was very comfortable. Alison was a great host, she was able to accommodate our early arrival and answered all my questions very quickly. I would love to stay again.

Alison was very responsive to questions. We were able to check in early which worked well for our arrival to the island. Central location, easy walk to pier, market, and pubs/restaurants. Nice outdoor area to enjoy the sea view.

That was the best-ever accommodation and experience at the most magic island. Alison is an amazing host and I fully enjoyed my stay. The place is very special and I think it is a great value for this money, especially when traveling with friends or family. Staying over night is the best way to discover the island but returning to a cozy home in the evening makes it even more special. Thank you, Alison! That was a memorable trip!

Very short stay :)

Loads of space for 10 people between both houses. Centrally located to the village & amenities in Kilronan. Spacious house and garden with unbelievable views of the sea. Alison was a dream to deal with, answered quickly and helped us out loads. We will definitely come back and stay again.

Pictures on booking.com and description made it feel like a group of cottages, we were in a converted garage. Easy walk to pier but not with luggage.

Could have met someone. Expensive for what we got. Couch uncomfortable as bed and no quilt or sheets provided for third person, I was cold. Found a blanket in walk in press so had 2 blankets.

Host was really helpful and location is perfect. The house was ideal for our family and very comfortable along with everything we needed including a few lovely treats on arrival like fresh bread, milk etc

Excellent position within walking distance of the ferry. The house was in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the best pub/restaurant on the island. On arrival there was a welcome pack including bread, milk and a bottle of wine. Our host Alison was available at all times and very friendly.

We stayed in the two bed myself partner and two children. Perfect location host was lovely, bought snacks and a few necessities for us when we arrived which was lovely. House was spotless and was in a great location. Had everything you needed for cooking, a garden and also had loads of broad games for the kids. If I go back to the Aran islands I would definitely be staying here again 🙂

Got lost when we first arrived abit more directions to the house when you get off the ferry.

Central to Kilronan, near the grocery store, Joe Watty’s Pub, and a reasonable walk to the pier. Very private.

A perfect home away from home! Short walk from the ferry area, and right across from Joe Watty's, an awesome local pub. Quick communication and everything we needed for our stay. We can't wait to return.

We received a message saying property was ready for us, which was great as we arrived shortly after 2pm and didn't have to wait until 3pm. Aside from coffee and tea, they had provided us with milk, bread and a few treats which was a pleasant surprise.

Communication from the owner was great, great central location, clean and inviting home, it was cosy warm when we got in and the owner had left a few essential food items which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this holiday home.

Absolutely spotless, friendly and helpful host and accommodation was warm and dry. Lovely high quality sheets and bedding. Host also changed the pillows to allergy friendly before arrival. Location was amazing!

It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay on the island. We have everything right on our doorsteps and all necessities in the home. The owner messaged to inform of what's opened on the island while leaving a beautiful home made brown bread and treats to enjoy. A very informative guest book with all the island has to offer ! I would advise this stay to anyone travelling to the island and can't wait to book my next trip back !

Great cottage with plenty of space for our group, well equipped kitchen and convenient laundry facilities.

Would have been nice to know in advance that the hot water would shut off at a predetermined time… communication from the host was lacking. Queries were not responded to.

Alison was so obliging. We could leave our bags at the property hours before check in which was great. She had brown bread, milk,tea and coffee and biscuits as a welcome gift. So nice. The house was ideally located and spotless. Had a great stay. Highly highly recommended.

The place was clean and comfortable. It was close to a wonderful pub that served great food. We would definitely recommend Alison’s place for a stay over on the island.

I really liked the location - very close to the local pub and at the same time being completely private in the middle of nature. Walking everywhere is comfortable and safe. Everything was clean and well equipped. The shops on the island are not too far away, and you can also walk to the harbor with your suitcase.

In one room there was a very loud noise when the heating system was working.

Location was superb. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The ponies were such a fun surprise!

The ONLY issue was the beds could have been more comfortable.
