We just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Creevy Cottage. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The enclosed outdoor space was ideal for our dog to run around. Having the log burning fire going while watching a movie on Netflix was the perfect end to each day. The location was stunning with beautiful scenery in every direction. The Cottage is a short 2 minute walk to the Pier and a short drive to a number of beautiful beaches. Tommy, the host, was fantastic and very friendly. He has been very understanding and accommodating with regards to our trip. We received detailed pre arrival information, a phone call prior to arrival and complimentary early check in. I was able to contact Tommy during the stay when required.

Great location and spotless cottage with everything one needs for a home away from home
Location was great, two min walk to sea, quiet but nice holiday atmosphere with other holiday cottages in immediate area. Handy for larger towns, few mins in car ro Ballyshannon and few more to Bundoran. House clean and comfortable, everything in working order.
Beautiful location. 5 minute walk to Creevy Cove Hotel. Cottage cleanliness and facilities exceptional.
Nothing.
Wonderful property in a fantastic location. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing.
Such a charming cottage only a short walk from Creevy Pier. Beautiful peaceful location and very comfortable stay. Nice amenities provided - coffee, biscuits, milk, wine, basic toiletries.
Location was beautiful. Close proximity to the water (pier) but short car journey to a beautiful beach (Rossnowlagh).
No tea pot. 😂 you can’t make a proper tea without a teapot. 😊
The location was excellent, and the cottage itself was clean and cozy. Plenty of kitchen utensils for self catering, little extras like milk in the fridge, logs for the fire and some toiletries. The beds were comfortable, allowing for a good nights sleep. Having free Netflix was a big hit as the weather dictated more time indoors.
I liked everything
the electric kettle leaked, it was dangerous, but other than that it was great
We recently enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay in Creevy Cottages, The Rock and it was the perfect getaway from start to finish. The cottage itself was spotless, cosy, and had everything needed for a relaxing break. From the comfortable bed to the thoughtful touches throughout, it truly felt like a home away from home. Our host Tommy was absolutely fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Their local recommendations were spot on and added so much to our stay. The peaceful setting, warm atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality made this stay memorable. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape. I’m already looking forward to returning! Weather was typical Irish weather, four seasons in one day, but that was March! This didn’t put us of exploring and walking on the local beaches. Some lovely coastal walks also. The outdoor area was a great size and perfect setting for outdoor dining in better weather. Pet friendly which is a plus for us. Some of the beaches are Blue Flag (which have restricted dates of pets allowed on the beaches)
This is nothing against the hosts, or cottages which were perfect. You would need to drive to a local pub/restaurant. There was a hotel at Creevy Pier (great for a wee sea swim), 500mtrs away, but it was closed for renovations, I believe it is hoping to reopen in spring/summer 2026.
Just back from a 2 day stay at the cottage. Its a beautiful comfortable home with everything you need for a great stay. The back garden was perfect for our son to play football and our dog to play. The pier is a 2 min walk and is perfect for a sea swim. Close to the town for shops and restaurants. The hosts were fantastic with clear, quick communication from the start. We have already booked to come back next year.
Nothing
A perfect base to explore the local area, the cottage was very cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.
Beautiful stone cottage with everything we needed and more. Our hosts thought of everything and were thoughtful and helpful.
Nothing!
Tolle Lage direkt am Meer, perfekt für Familien ! Gute Ausstattung im Haus mit allen was man braucht !
Absolutely everything was perfect
Nothing to complain about
Clean and warm. Great location too.

Big thanks to Tommy for a lovely stay at his cottage in Ballyshannon, Donegal. We had such a great time, and he made us feel really welcome. We’ll definitely be back again!
We love everything about the property, perfect place to stay very clean and comfortable cottage,so cozy and warm inside when we arrived plus welcome pack also, all mod cons available, two very good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms one en-suite, we had our dogs with us and had a large fully enclosed outside area for them to run around in, very peaceful location yet within walking distance to the pier and short drive to beaches shops and towns, highly recommend for a really relaxing holiday
Nothing
Very homely, beautifully kept cottage. Great value for money. The complimentary materials for the fire was a nice touch.
Nothing. It was great
We were offered an early check in which was very convenient. On arrival, we collected the keys from a lockbox and upon entry noticed a clean and comfortable cottage with complimentary tea, biscuits and wine.
Nothing
Log burning stove, location of cottage. Very clean and bright. Very helpful owner.
Loved everything.
The perfect place to stay. The location is excellent. You can hear and see the sea from the cottage. The cottage is spacious, very comfortable and has everything you need. Communication with the owner was excellent. Tommy was really helpful and had left milk and goodies for our arrival. The donkeys at the end of the garden was the icing on the cake.
Nothing to dislike.
Super easy! Although the sat nav does take you to an address before the cottages, if you keep on driving you will see the signs that say Creevy cottages!
Check out time was a little early as i brought my dad and with him being ill it was hard to get up and out before the 11am time as he isn’t used to it but they were fully booked so we couldn’t arrange a late check out. The host was amazing though and very helpful and I’m sure if he could’ve accommodated us he would have! I will definitely be back the stay was awesome!
Amazing cottage set in a quiet location, but just minutes from beaches, shops and restaurants We spent a week there with our dogs, Inside was so clean with two bedrooms and two bathrooms the cottage had every thing available including a welcome pack with wine, toiletries, laundry room, every appliance needed was provided Outside was huge with brick walls and fencing, our dogs were so secure and safe,we loved the peace and serenity and will definitely be back, hopefully very soon
Nothing to dislike
Only a few minutes walk from the sea, and the house itself in a lovely rural location. Loads of birdsong, and the property itself was very comfortable, as were the bedrooms.
Nothing
Fantastic location. Very scenic and peaceful. Fully furnished cottage with all facilities you could possibly need. Spacious cottage with a lovely closed off back garden for your dog to run around. Highly recommend

We had the most amazing weekend here.. cottages are so comfy & clean and in the most idyllic area We will definitely be back
Lovely outside area that was dog friendly and enclosed. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Kitchen well kitted out. Views of the surrounding country side are amazing. Would stay in the cottages again if returning to the area. Owners friendly and approachable.
We had a lovely stay at Creevy Cottages. The service and communication from the hosts, Katie and Tom, were excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The cottage was well kept, with a charming traditional decor that made it feel cozy and authentic. Creevy is a peaceful, coastal location, perfect for a quiet getaway but only about a 5-minute drive from local amenities. There are some really pleasant walks nearby, including down to the pier and along the scenic Creevy Cliff Walk. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Would definitely recommend!
Surrounded by lush green fields, sheep and cattle, with glimpses of the Atlantic, you can expect a few flies around, so bringing fly repellent is a good idea
The location was really good
I thought it had sea views but it was a little farther from the sea than I expected. The bed linen and towels could be updated.
Beautiful location, very quiet, only a few steps down to Creevy Pier where we watched the waves! Loved that we could bring our little dog with us, she had a great time! The hosts were excellent, checking in to make sure we were okay, and giving us tips on pet friendly places to go! They also were kind enough to change the date of arrival for us when somthing had come up , and allowed us early access to the cottage on the day of arrival! The cottage was very comfortable & had everything we needed! We had dinner at Smugglers on the Wed night and were able to bring our little dog which was great! We also found a few other places in Bundoran and Donegal town to bring our dog aswell! Rossnowlagh Beach is just beautiful! We were lucky with the weather for the most part and were able to walk the beach in the sunshine! Hosts had left wine, milk & biscuits for us when we arrived which was a lovely touch!
The location itself was very quiet, unfortunately the hotel at Creevy Pier has closed down, and alot of places nearby weren't open which surprised us seeing as it was Easter week! The only criticism of the cottage was the handle on the stove ,which would get so hot! - but we had been warned in advance about this! The Coastal walks near the cottages didnt allow dogs which was a bit disappointing. We went into Ballyshannon a few mins away the first night and got a takeaway as we couldnt find anywhere else open. The Waterworld in Bundoran was closed, as was the Funfair while we were there so there wasnt much for the kids to do! , however it wouldnt stop us returning again but maybe during the summer next time when everything is open!
The cottage was charming and cosy with lots of character evocative of the location. It was well equipped for self-catering and the fresh milk, biscuits and wine were a nice surprise on arrival. The location was easy walking distance to the wonderful Creevy Coastal Walk. Katie was an amazing property manager.
A little isolated from dining options outside summer months.
Great stay, the host welcomed us in person, communicated everything we needed to know; the house was warm & cosy and very well equiped. We highly recommend!
The house was very well stocked with everything you need for self catering. There were biscuits and wine left. There was a utility room, outdoor tap for washing wetsuits. Nice warm house. I would stay there again.
A few more like logs for the fire but everything else was great.
The cottage is awesome. Great back patio. Quiet and very pleasant. We brought our dog and it was great!
A beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Cosy and warm and utterly charming. Our every need was catered for. Family of four, two adult children. One of best short stays we have enjoyed. Tommy our host was so wonderful to us and we were well looked after. I will be back.
No complaints
Beautiful location. Accommodation was really comfortable and cosy. Attention to detail was top drawer. Bottle of wine on arrival plus milk and tea and biscuits.
It was an amazing location , really close to a beautiful beach at rosnowlagh . A short drive to Donegal town and we had a lovely time .
I have nothing negative to say .
the fantastic communication from start to finish....absolutely everything was thought of....we wanted for nothing.. even wine 😊 the smell of the sea air as soon as you opened the door and the sound of the sea. the house was so well laid out for families and absolutely spotless
that I had to leave 🤣
Beautiful dog friendly cottage beside Creevy Pier and near Rossnowlagh. Easy access to Ballyshannon and Donegal Town. Warm and cosy with all amenities and lovely little extra touches. Loved the location. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend all round☺️
We had the best time, facilities, location etc were awesome, we will definitely be returning for a visit. Host was always available with any queries.
Everything was perfect and we loved every minute of it.
Everything was really lovely and the cottage was in such a glorious location. Never seen so many stars at night. Owner was super friendly and generously offered early entry. Lovely wine and treats too!
No dislikes.
Netflix
Sofa a bit uncomfortable
Lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location
The place was super clean, the beds were very comfy, and all the amenities were so convenient, the little added extra of having milk in the fridge when we arrived was just that special touch, ill definitely be returning.
Absolutely nothing
Great location, clean cottage with all amenities required
The host dropped by and gave us tips on the area. However, there was a book inside that covered everything you would need to know. It was so thoughtful and helpful! We loved the cows out back you could watch and say hello to! The property was perfect for a small family. We would stay there again. Thank you!!
Nothing!
The cottage was welcoming with all the amenities plus a nice welcome package. It was cozy especially with the fire lit and was spacious enough for a family gathering. More importantly it was dog friendly and my two golden retrievers loved it.
Nothing! It had everything I needed
We stayed for 4 days wish we could have stayed longer, cottage is really cozy, perfect size, so good even the dog didn't want to leave! Close to beaches for surfing and walks & towns for shopping etc. Smugglers Creek Inn worth a visit for food and sea views. Will be back.
The complete experience was brilliant. Katie was excellent with calls before arrival and giving all information across. The cottage is so inviting and comfortable with a lovely view of the waves. The location was perfect, close enough to local places for food. Definitely will be back in the future and would recommend to everyone for a nice peaceful break away.
The cottage was perfect for our family of 4, location is great close to Rossnawlagh beach and surrounding countryside
Really quiet and warm, with excellent laundry facilities too. Highly recommend this place away from everything!
Breakfast was not provided here. I also was not aware that hospitality in the area had closed for the 'season' and therefore had to do mad dash back to fuel station to grab some horrible pre-made dinners. Had to drive down to beach area.
The cottages are absolutely gorgeous! The location is amazing - short walk to the pier. The hosts left some wine in the property for us to enjoy. The fireplace is such a lovely addition - we were also provided with a starter kit for the fire.
Nothing!
Really cozy, comfortable, dog friendly cottage near the sea! Great facilities and location.
The setting is amazing. Peaceful and tranquil .. beaches right on the doorstep.. a perfect location to relax
You are in rural Ireland!! So the power in the showers isn’t city power but it didn’t stop us having the best time
Fantastic location and beautiful cottage with everything we needed.
The location of Creevy Cottages was beautiful and so peaceful with wonderful views. The cottage was a 7 minute drive to Rossnowlagh Beach and Creevy Pier Hotel was at the bottom of the road.
Nothing to dislike about Creevy Cottages. The accommodation was clean, cosy and well equipped and the hosts Tommy and Carmel were generous by leaving logs, wine and other treats for our stay. They were extremely informative in their emails before arrival and their information booklet at the cottage.
This was one of the most amazings Appartements so far. Lovely home. It was really modern with a lot of open space. We Had everything we needed there (even a bottle of wine for the evening^^). We could sit outside and breathe in the fresh ocean Air. And Katie, who was in charge, made always sure, that everything was just perfect. Thank you for this wonderful Cottage.
Lovely pet friendly cottage. Host Tommy was so helpful.
Everything at Creevy Cottages was just perfect. Host so informative. Cottage absolutely perfect, spotless, everything there one could possibly need, so peaceful just the most perfect stay away from it all. Would most definitely return and recommend
Nothing it was just perfect
Quiet location, close to beaches and walks with the dogs. Cottage was warm and cosy and well equipped
We had a fabulous weekend staying with our beloved Irish Wolfhounds- everything was spotlessly clean with an excellent layout. Sliding patio doors leading out onto an enclosed rear courtyard was excellent for washing and grooming our hounds when we returned from a wet walk before we all chilled out before a cosy wood-burning stove in this tranquil location- just a 5 min walk from Creevy Pier and a short drive to Rosnowlagh beach.
Absolutely nothing!
It is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Very peaceful.
It was a perfect place to stay, there is nothing to dislike
Nice quiet location
Everything
The washing basing in the ensuite bathroom was very small and above it a shelve, so that it was difficult to wash ones face. Without the shelve there would be more room. Ensuite bathroom in general quite narrow
Beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Great communication from the host with very detailed information for checking in, house instructions, directions, local area. House and grounds were spotlessly clean, well equipped and beds were very comfortable. Lovely quiet area in a beautiful location.
