Large comfortable cottage with great views
Quaint old house, big garden, views though not the bay, space Beaches and coastline Cows going past twice a day, friendly farmer
A bit tired: small things not quite right Odd to have to turn the shower on and off from outside the door Wish someone would cut down the big old sycamores in the abandoned property next door which would open up the view
Gorgeous location. Very comfortable and spacious. Kids loved the recliner seats and the smart tv & wifi. Original Irish cottage with walls about 2 feet thick. Everything we needed was provided and it was a very comfortable house for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. We managed to lock ourselves out when packing to leave the property on the last day and the property manager was up to us within 15 mins to let us back in and thanks a million for that Dathaí. The Ballydavid Cliff walk is a short and very easy walk with stunning views and only a few mins drive from the house. A lovely small beach there too. The Eask tower hike was a very quick and easy hike too a few mins outside Dingle. Well worth it for the views. We did the Mt Brandon hike too from the Faha side which is a tough hike but the views were unbelievable. I'd recommend doing a boat trip too, it was well worth it. Some of the more popular restaurants in Dingle need to be booked in advance and can be done easily online so check that out in good time.
The showers were a bit of a challenge at first but once we got used to them it was ok.
The property was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The garden was beautiful and there were great views. Comunication with the host was easy and they responded to any quiry's in a timely way.
You do need a car if your staying here.
It was adorable. Located just outside of the town of Dingle in the Irish country side.
The house is very spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms. The best part is the living room and kitchen with a beautiful view.
I felt a bit uncomfortable due to the temperature; I was cold, and the floor is also noisy.
Everything was so perfect, I have no words to describe what it was like to be in such a beautiful place and such a beautiful environment! The host is so kind, communication was fluid and easy. Thanks for everything, we will absolutely come back !
It was very well stocked with everything we could need, and very clean too! We loved the location, it was so nice sitting in the kitchen and looking out the window at the lovely view. The beds were comfortable and the kids especially enjoyed the smart TV. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return sometime!
Nothing, it was great
Lots of space
Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage itself is fabulous, traditional but with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and even more charming than the photos suggest. It is easily accessible by car from Dingle, and the views from the top of the road were breathtaking. Check in/out was seamless and the hosts were communicative and available to help throughout our stay. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay again. Thank you all at Griffins

Pro and Con of this place is the location. Magical place to unwind and reset in a peaceful setting. It is very car dependent. While it was great to get away from the bustling cities of Dublin and Cork, it does make you plan how you want to handle your meals. We opted to hit the supervalu and cook our breakfasts so we could have a slow, leisure morning. Then grab dinner in town on the way back to the cottage. One of the coolest things about this place was the cattle drive on the street in the evening and morning, the farmer from down the street was super friendly and educational. Turns out cows do not like strangers so best to give a wide birth in one of the pullouts if on foot. This place is not far from Slea Head Drive and even just up the road from Gallarus Castle and Oratory.
As mentioned, to some the location can be a turn off since it is car dependent, on small, tight country roads. Personally I enjoyed that.
Location. Lovely cottage. Country
Lovely place in lovely surroundings.
Was a bit far from the centre.
A comfortable spacious warm house.
Weather was a bit wet at times
Lovely spacious property. Peaceful location. Great private garden.
I couldn't fault the property. It was ideal for us.
This house is in a fantastic location, very clean, and has plenty of space. If there were any minor issues, all you needed to do was send an email and they were resolved immediately.
The mattresses could be replaced.
Very spacious house, clean, easy to find everything, lovely views and good communication with owner
You do need a car as it is a 10 minute drive from Dingle
We had a fantastic stay at Griffins Cottage. We cant really pin point anything that didnt meet our expectations

Wonderful location. Helpful owner. Very spacious warm and comfortable.
We rented this house for seven adults and a child, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. The house is fantastic — there was plenty of room for everyone, and we all felt comfortable. Everything is well thought out, and absolutely everything you need for a stay is provided: pots, pans, dishes, a washing machine, and even a hair dryer (which took a little searching, but it was there!). Everything works perfectly, adding to the convenience. The location is also great: it’s close to town, with a direct road that makes it easy to reach Dingle. The only minor downside was the strong wind, but that, of course, has nothing to do with the property or the hosts. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! We loved it and look forward to coming back.
Cozy and comfortable cottage. Beautiful views from backyard. Well stocked kitchen with basic amenities which was greatly appreciated (coffee filters, paper towels). Host sent information on things to do ahead of time which was great!
Could have a house booklet to explain a few things about the cottage such as the lock on the back door and history of the area (old buildings).
Location is excellent for Dingle Peninsula
Some of the beds need attention and some cushions in the kitchen area for the chairs would be great.
Beautiful little cottage in an idyllic rural setting. Well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay.
Lovely quiet location, great countryside views, handy for Dingle town and local attractions. Comfortable cottage, well equipped.
All stone floors a bit cold for bare feet! Roof windows in one bedroom couldn't be screened with blinds or shutters, so let the early morning light in.
Scenic location and lovely cottage, just a short hop from Dingle and close to the coast.
Location was nice place.
Facilities in the house was not up to my expectations. Disturbed water supply, microwave not working properly, absence of tea bags, shower gel, toilet mats.
The property is close to Dingle town. It is also along the Slea Head Drive route. Very spacious house and good views from the kitchen area
We had an amazing stay ! Perfect for a friends trip, the house is large and very confortable
Spacious clean rooms and kitchen was well kitted out. Sofas and beds were very comfy. Locations was very quiet and we slept really well.
I think a small Welcome pack of useful information (like the need to turn on the Wifi router on in the bedroom) would have been helpful.
Exceeded all expectations! The charming ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, and breathtaking views made our stay unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. From cozy evenings by the fireplace to adventures exploring the picturesque surroundings, this cottage provided the ideal backdrop for creating cherished memories with friends. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a delightful getaway in Dingle.
The bed upstairs in the property seem a bit old and worn out, and is noisy.
Bright and airy with a fabulous view.
As it is an older property and it was a particularly damp weekend it took a while to heat up but the heating system was easy to use.
It's a lovely house with everything that you want to stay with your family..we enjoyed every minute. Many Thanks and will definitely visit again 😊
very spacious house, perfect for sight seeing the Dingle area, ideal for a long stay, the kitchen was so big with beautiful views we could sit there all day
nothing
Very difficult to find initially but was more accessible once you get used to location long and winding narrow roads
Signage at property
Very well equipped n shining clean. Very comfortable cottage in a great location. Great for families.
The road outside was quite busy.
Clean and warm like own home
All good
Cottage was clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Everything that we needed was provided. Good location, not far from Dingle.
Great house, big and spacious. Super location just 10 min drive from Dingle centre!
Very spacious accommodation in a lovely quiet location.
Country side location, easy seven minute drive to Dingle. Slea Head drive just two minutes drive west of cottage. Spacious rooms ideal for a family.
Gorgeous quirky place in the most fabulous location.
Not enough soap or cleaning materials in the house and the dishwasher wasn't working well. Also could do with a BBQ
The cottage is very cozy and nice, lots of space and exceptional area and view. The rooms are big and comfortable. The space outside is really relaxing as well. We had a great time here, only wished we could have stayed longer.
We cannot recommend Griffins Holiday Cottage enough - it far exceeded our expectations. Located on a peaceful street 10 minutes outside of quaint Dingle with a beautiful enclosed garden and ample accommodation space, it is the perfect destination for a visit to County Kerry. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine and there are some staples provided too, so it has everything you need! Well maintained and tastefully decorated - the pictures don't do this fantastic spot justice!
Location 8 minutes drive out of Dingle was fabulous - so peaceful and beautiful. Easy access to the spectacular Dingle peninsula drive, but away from the crowds in Dingle village. (Excellent pubs outside of Dingle in Ballyferriter). Beds were comfortable, bedrooms well furnished (lots of space to unpack). Heating was very efficient. Washing machine was excellent. Very spacious for a couple.
Lack of information about appliances, heating, powered shower. However, the host was responsive when we phoned. Lounge chairs were not comfortable. Washing machine was great but need more pegs.
Lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of Dingle and take in the views down the mountain and to the bay below.
Nothing
Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Relaxing and quiet.
Fantastic location. Beautiful scenery
Loved the quiet location and not too far from Dingle and scenic drives. Plenty of space and nice views to the West for sunset. A bit like living on the farm with all the comforts.
A few minor issues. Needed some light bulbs in lamps and shower doors could use an upgrade.
Lovely traditional cottage with half door and sweeping mountain views from the large kitchen. Easy drive to Ballydavid, Ballyferriter and Dingle approx ten minutes each, and all the sights of the stunning Dingle peninsula. Darragh was a very helpful and gracious host. We would love to stay again.
Lovely view, very good equipped, quiet. Help available on the phone with no problem. Great communication.
Was a bit too cold in the night, One bedroom has a very high ceiling, and there was a big cob web in the roof window, I'm afraid of spiders and couldn't sleep because of it.
Great location for touring dingle Great views from the house , house is on a really quiet road .
Honestly don’t forget this is all about location , House is perfect for your needs and more .
Very enjoyable stay. Well appointed old cottage with all mod cons. Surrounded by large gardens with a seaview at the bottom so very safe for kids. The host was very helpful with delivering something we needed. Highly recommended. Expect a 5-6 km drive to Dingle.
Cobwebs around the windows could do with some attention but overall we loved it.
Wonderful cottage property. Quiet
The location was a bit of a challenge but the Information Centre staff and neighbour were helpful
it is a lovely cottage with sunning view. Spacious and well equipped with amazing character.
the back door didn’t lock so it brought an element of excitement
Had absolutely everything you could possibly want in the house. Beautiful quiet country location.
