Great location and facilities

Nothing

Awesome location, beautiful home and such a great back patio also.

Perfect location everything in walking distance. The place was clean and great for a stay. The bonus was secure parking. Very quiet and safe.

The property was just as described, except the location was even better than we had anticipated- so central.

Nothing really

The house and facilities, location and great communication.

Netjes zuiver en keurig ingericht

Geen airco en geen zonwering, grote lichtkoepel geeft zo een kas effect.

A good location, close to the centre.

Trying to unload and load the car on a narrow one way street, you start unloading and then have to drive around the block to to let cars drive down the road. No freeze compartment.

great central location in Ypres

a few basic food and drink items. A welcome bottle

Very clean and great location

No issues

Great location a short walk from the Grote Markt & Menin Gate. Secure parking.

All good

De locatie en het gratis parkeren

-

Lovely place close to the centre of Ieper.

Ideally situated. The car parking was an added bonus. It was lovely to walk around the city walls metres away from the front door.

Stairway was a little narrow & steep

Was net, goede communicatie. Mooi huis op wandelafstand van de markt van ieper.

Niets

Great location to the centre, the car parking space was a bonus. It had everything you need for your stay.

Nothing

It felt like home for the couple of days we were there. It was great that it had everything you would expect in a home. A great detailed set of instructions to make arrival and the stay comfortable.

Not that we didn’t like it but it is well used with scuffs etc that you would expect in a ‘house’. It’s not a hotel with maintenance ‘touching’ things up.

Het min puntje was dat de wasmand vol zat met was. Maar is mss een futiliteit..

Everything was good

Nothing

Lovely property - nicely decorated! Beds were really comfortable, and everything we needed was provided (bedding, towels etc). Supermarkets close and would recommend a restaurant trip - they’re lovely too. There was a great designated parking space 2 min walk away. Great location, no noise or anything but close to the Menin Gate and main strip (probably 5 minute walk away, if that). Excellent price for everything you get! Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stairs were a little steep but I have stayed at properties in Belgium before and this seems to be normal.

Prior to arriving the host had sent me comprehensive Instructions on how to gain access, where to securely park and Information about the property layout and wi-fi code. The property was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The location was also fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the Menin Gate and centre of Ypres. I would definitely book to stay here again if it's available.

Everything was fine. Nothing not to like.

Een zeer mooi en gezellig huis! Alles is voorzien, zelfs lakens, handdoeken, afwastabletten en wc papier. Bovendien vlakbij centrum, dus ideale ligging.

Fantastic central location. Spacious with everything we needed, and comfy beds.

Some may find the parking situation an issue if they have more than 1 vehicle as there is only 1 designated parking space in a nearby compound. Plenty of long term free parking a short walk away which was fine for us.

Great location, super spacious apartment which was excellently equipped.

Nothing

Aimée has friendly and helpful owners, a great location and has private, secure parking a minute's walk away. It's comfortable with 3x double beds and is pretty well appointed. Recommended.

Although well appointed the property would benefit from the addition of a microwave. It would be handy to have the small sink outside of the ground floor working to save washing your hands in the kitchen sink. However, these are minor points and should not detract from a lovely property.

The property was immaculate and everything that was needed was there. The location was excellent. The host was extremely helpful. I will certainly return and would definitely recommend this place.

N/a. All perfect

Ideally situated for what we need. Quiet and comfortable.

Although still decent, it is showing signs of wear and tear. After waiting until 16:00 hrs to enter for the cleaner to finish we found cobweb behind bedroom door and coffee/tea stains on the wall, mould in the corner of the bathroom windows. Paint on walls was chipped, although this was our second time here we were really pleased the first time. However this time around Aimee was looking a little tired.

Good location, easy access, clean throughout, well appointed for short stay, close to centre easy walking access from station

Stairs narrow but just needs care when using them.

We stayed at Aimee for the weekend. Great location with everything just a short walk away. The house was clean and welcoming. The beds are very comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Great contact - spoke to the owner on the Friday who was very helpful.

Wish we could stay longer! We will be back.

Great location, and the inclusion of parking was so convenient. Nice place and very clean.

Nothing.

The property is great, it has everything you need for a short stay, is spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfortable. The property is in a good location and just a short walk to a dedicated parking spot. The only downside is that stairs are very steep and therefore not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

The information sent beforehand was the best I have ever seen. Very clear instructions on where to park, how to get the keys, et cetera. Even included info on some quality local restaurants and other valuable tips.

The house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The house was warm and the shower was hot. The kitchen was well equipped.

The combo-oven did the job but it wasn’t as good as a proper oven. The fridge has no freezer compartment so we couldn’t make ice for drinks.

Beautiful apartment, easy walk to many amenities. Well Equipped kitchen.

Nothing

Lovely, comfortable and clean. Fab location- thank you so Much!

Location, nice and quite

The shower wasn’t powerful enough,

Great location, spacious, comfortable and parking. Have stayed before and would stay again.

Kitchen work top had some tea stains on it, there was some in one of the bathroom sinks and one of the top floor bedroom duvet covers had a tear.

Location, facilities

Stairs are scary

A lovely sized property in a great location in the centre of Ypres close to the Menin gate and shops and restaurants. Enough room for 4/6 although the top bedroom is open plan with 2 double beds.

The bed head in the main bedroom is rather damaged which is not what we expected and it was a shame that for 4/6 people there were only 3 mugs - to get a few more which are very cheap would be a good addition as there were 12 egg cups but not enough mugs!

Comfortable, great location, near the heart of the town. Good secure parking.

Everything

Very pretty, central and all the amenities you need - with bizarrely the exception of no freezer (so no ice for drinks in the hot summer). Other than that fantastic deceptively spacious property.

No freezer!

The location is excellent, as it is only a short walk to the city centre. If you want a low cost place to stay and enjoy Belgium, then this is ideal. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. There is free parking in a secure facility, only a few minutes walk away. The kitchen and lounge area is large, smart and modern. So too are the bedrooms and bathroom. There is plenty of kitchen equipment, pots and pans, Cutlery, etc. The host replied to all my messages and was very helpful.

The property is excellent and was as expected. You can't ask for much more. The below negatives were minor inconveniences, but I want to be honest (I would put the positives first, but booking.com put them last). It is close to a river so there are nats / flying insects that bite. Putting Insect netting on the windows might help. The TV doesn't connect to the Internet, so you can't watch streaming services. Although we didn't watch much tv as we were out most of the time. It would have been useful to have for the children. The outside patio furniture is uncomfortable and needed a good clean. We didn't use it, as the area is small and next to a waste bin. There is no door to the top floor bedroom. A tumble dryer was shown as available, but wasn't when we arrived. The host has since corrected the advert.

The location in the old town on a quiet street was wonderful. The unit was clean and comfortable. A very lovely place to stay. It would have nice if there was some oil in the kitchen and some bath gel in the bathroom but this is personal preference. We loved Ieper and Aimée was a great place to stay.

The front door (key) was hard to open and lock. One of the departure directions was to strip the beds back to the mattress protectors. We did this but have never done it before at any accommodation and didn’t appreciate this as being a job of the guest. The sink for the bottom toilet didn’t work (no water). Main light in first floor bedroom didn’t work.

Modern facilities in lovely 3 storey house. 3 large double beds, large bathroom with downstairs toilet as well. Good communication.

Unfortunately smoke alarm ran out of batteries and went off twice in middle of night and had to take it down.

Great location, excellent facilities, good secure parking

Fire alarm going of at 5am

Excellent location, with equally excellent facilities in the house and private, secure parking a couple hundred metres away. Easy communication with the host. Highly rated.

Absolutely fantastic location yards from Menin Gate and centre with loads of restaurants nearby. We were taking part in the 100kms Ypres walk. Could not of wished for a better location.

A mirror on the 3rd floor would be great. Otherwise very well appointed with all you need for a comfortable stay.

Location was great

No instruction on how to operate stove and dish washer

The town house was lovely, well equipped and very comfortable. It was an easy walk to the main squares and train station. We enjoyed our stay very much. The communication from the owners was excellent.

Although the house is beautiful and well equipped, it was quite dusty and had some areas of black mould in the bedrooms and bathroom. The floors were also dusty. The bedlinen was worn with lots of small holes and stains and the towels were also worn and did not smell fresh. We were told to strip the beds at the end of our stay and put the linen in the laundry room which involved carrying bedding down two narrow flights of stairs. There was also a lack of toilet paper!

The location was fantastic and it was great to have a private car park.

Nothing.

All of it, great location and house

Location, 2 double beds in upstairs 2nd bedroom, washing machine, great amount of space, responsiveness of property manager, dedicated parking space

Couple of small issues (missing towels, car in our park & kettle leaking) were resolved straight away.

Property absolutely immaculate

Nothing

Very quiet location, but still close enough to walk into town.

Nothing at all.

Everything was very good.

Nothing.

Great location, very clean, allocated parking

Great location and very nice house - quiet, comfortable and warm.

Shower lacking a bit of pressure.

We arrived late and the property was very easy to find, the instructions to the parking spot were excellent and literally a 2 minute walk from the property. The property had everything and was very clean and tidy, just like home from home.

There was nothing i did not like about this property

The location of the town house is superb. Very near to the centre. Lovely walk area just round the corner. Parking available within short walking distance. Shop 5 minutes away. The property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Hosts provided detailed instructions regarding the stay, which were very helpful. Probably not very suitable for guests with mobility issues due to narrow and numerous steps leading to the bedrooms and the bathroom although the ground floor spacious and accessible. Visit to In Flanders Fields Museum was a very interesting experience. Strongly recommend climbing the steps to the tower to see the view of the town. Ice Cream shop on the corner also worth a visit.

The fact that I could not stay longer as Ypres, I am sure it has a lot to offer for further exploration.

great central location, walking distance to cafes, restaurants & Menin Gate with the added bonus of a private parking space close to the accommodation. very comfortable space would highly recommend it.

N/A

the property couldn’t be faulted superb layout with everything you will ever need inc a very short walk for your secure parking and a short walk too town centre. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this place. perfect

nothing

The car parking space was close by. The location was only a few minutes walk from the centre and close to the main routes out that we needed. Very comfortable beds.

Downstairs toilet wash basin needed to be turned off via the pipework as the tap didn't turn off properly, it would keep dripping. Would have been better to have an en suite bathroom in the eves room instead of another bed. Quite a duck to get out of bed on one side due to the eves, but not impossible.

It was plaed in the centre of Ieper, with all the points of interest and restaurants etc., within easy walking distance. It serves as an excellent base to visit the battlefields.

A very minor point, but the fridge doesn't have a freezer compartment.

Excellent location set on quiet street, nice large bedrooms.

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. Only slight problem, stairs were a little steep.

Complete list of information sent before departure. This detailed everything we needed. Easy to access proprty using the key safe and had two keys and car park fob.

Unfortunately, there is no parking outside if you need to drop bag off. You just have to be lucky with the traffic.

The location, peace, accessibility to everything needed, comfort and instructions were all excellent

Nothing

Location was perfect (short walk to the centre) The property is in excellent condition, and nicely but sympathetically updated and renovated. Furnishings were comfortable, clean and attractive. The beds were large and comfortable. Almost everything had been thought of and the property is nice and clean. Private parking is available close by. There are plenty of nearby bars and restaurants in Ypres, and also a few small bars closer to the property. There is a large Spar supermarket not far away. A fantastic guide to the war memorials and cemetery was in the house, which we found really useful. We had done research before our trip but the book helped us find other places that were really good to visit.

There was nothing we didn't like, however There was no freezer - we would have liked to freeze ice blocks to take out with us during the day. I would have liked a mirror in the attic bedroom and maybe the downstairs hallway as 4 of us were sharing the bathroom and it was the only place that I could use to put on make-up. Again, there was nothing wrong with the shower, it was great, but difficult to stand directly underneath it because of the shape of the bath.

Spacious, clean, well located, great value.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation and spotless!! All amenities were there and a fantastic location

Nothing at all, a little hiccup with hot water one morning, but all was well in the end. Other than that, no faults at all.

Location and parking

Pillows were hard

The location and comfort.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation at all.

lovely, clean house. very comfortable hassle free. brilliant instructions and communication

Beautiful house in a great location. Fabulous location just a 5-minute walk from the market square. A week before our arrival, the hosts sent us 3 x PDF documents detailing the arrival/departure procedure, everything we needed to know during our stay (such as WiFi details, waste sorting etc.) and the car parking details. We found these very useful. Very comfortable living room. Large and comfortable corner sofa. Samsung TV available for use. The heating system worked very well and was simple to operate. The WiFi connection reaches all areas of the house. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. We made a full Christmas dinner in it no problem! Once again the bedrooms and bathroom were all comfortable and well equipped. A car parking space is provided free of charge in a nearby underground car park, a one-minute walk away. You can stop your car right outside the front door to unload. Some other reviews commented that the car park was too tight to get their vehicles into, but we have a medium-sized car and it was no problem for us. The city of Ieper itself is a beautiful place with plenty of attractions and was wonderful to stroll around. We would not hesitate to return!

We really are nit-picking here... There is no separate microwave here, rather the oven is also a grill and microwave in one. This took us a little while to figure out! Instruction manuals are however available for all the appliances. This means you can't cook one thing in the oven and microwave something else at the same time. The owners may wish to consider providing a separate microwave (there is ample space for this). Also there is no freezer here which wasn't a problem for us, but is worth pointing out in case someone wanted to keep ice creams in the summer.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment. Very walkable distance from train station, and to all central facilities. Very convenient to the Menin Gate.

Could easily have stayed longer but alas 2 nights was all we had.

Very modern, nicely furnished, clean and in a good location

Car park space was inaccessible for my car, so sadly I couldn’t use it. Mercedes GLE400

the location was perfect, it was clean and comfortable, convenient parking, excellent communication.

nothing, it was perfect for our needs

clean and a great location
